They keep changing their hours and I cant ever be sure theyre open or not. Currently posted closing at 3pm. (Open 7am.) Tomorrow it could be different. I love the donuts, but Im not gonna waste my time driving over here to find theyre now closing at 1pm or something.

Open til 7, til 4, til 3... bathrooms open to customer, bathrooms closed to customers, open, closed..., Corporate managers using the pandemic as an excuse for terrible, inconsistent, unpredictable operations. Recently witnessed a MANAGER (corporate. filling in) announce to everyone in the room (including customers) that they had to close early because the employees got used to not working but still getting paid... employees I know to be hard working and dedicated to good customer service. The management of Top Pot are a bunch of lunatics. Recommend going to Westernco Donuts on Sunset. Top Pot is a circus. They dont deserve your money.

This is a great place! The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Everytime I go there I receive my order quickly. I really enjoy going to Top Pot. There doughnuts are top notch 😋 there beverages are a step above. Maybe a little to hot would be my only complaint.

Tasty eats. The apple fritter was moist with generous chunks of apple with a hint of cinnamon. The old-fashioned chocolate glazed donut had an almost devil food cake appeal. Top Pot was a pleasant surprise, but no match for B&Js in Flint, MI.

Went there for donuts, not attitude. Turned-around and left as snotty one walked away, shaking her head at me. Last time I go there.

First time and definitely last time!!!! The service is truly not up to the standards at all. We were there on July 23, 2021 around 9:30 am. If you are regular costumer there, it means that you found your own way to make the staff at that branch communicate with you RESPECTFULLY.

I used to love going to Top Pot on 5th Ave when I lived in Seattle. Came to this location as I am staying at a hotel nearby and this was not an enjoyable experience. Rude service, slow when there is no one else in the store, more concerned about chatting with each other. Guess Ill be going to Starbucks while Im here.

Friendly and fast service. Barista had great recommendations and even had a hard time choosing her favorite. I went with the seasonal blueberry fritter and it was delicious. Cant wait to go back for more!

My wife forgot to pull up her mask and was asked to do so, no problem. Only that the snotty employee asking had her mask pulled down as well... Stupid. Her response, I just work here?? Thinking the owners are going to love the Covid Safety Violation....

This is my first time here with my family and the service was extremely bad to the point where we had to leave and go to another place. It’s not like the donuts were any good, but the coffee is decent. I really want to give this place another chance, but for now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Went an hour before closing, so I feel the variety of doughnuts remaining was a little sparse. Nonetheless, they were delicious! I also got some drinks for myself and coworkers, and we all enjoyed them. The staff is pleasant and super nice. Definitely a place Id recommend to anyone just wanting a load off, the atmosphere is calming and serene.

I dont think these guys get enough credit... TPD may have the look and feel of a chain - but they are privately owned and local as local gets! If I recall they opened up shop in the early 2000s right here in Seattles own Capitol Hill. Since then theyve expanded their footprint to have many locations throughout the greater Seattle area and the one thing I respect is their consistency of service and quality of their products.Best doughnuts ever? debatable as its all a matter of personal preference but most consistent? I wouldnt hesitate to say yes. My personal favorites of theirs is the old fashion doughnut, not sure why but each donut shop typically has one type thats great, specific to them. And TPDs old fashion is where its at. Great consistency, not overly sweet and the perfect density in every bite. Great shop and love that they are close to home!

I was there early afternoon and there wasnt much of a selection. What I did get was pretty good! Would love to try some of their other donuts soon!!

Iced pumpkin spice latte was delicious. They make their own pumpkin spice so it didn’t taste like syrup and wasn’t too sweet. I recommend trying this. My fiancé got it hot and also enjoyed his. We also tried a donut and it was just mediocre. I’d come back for the coffee.

Donuts are decent. Not necessarily worth $2.50 in my opinion but I can normally overlook a high price if it is paired with wonderful service. Not the case here.My husband and I were the only people in the establishment and the cashier said nothing but the following to us, hello. Okay. $9.50. ChaiMaybe I caught the workers on a bad day.Worth a shot, but my experience was lacking.

Staff was friendly but nothing special here. Went around 10am and my doughnut was dry. Maybe its the way they display them? I also got an iced peppermint mocha which didnt taste like peppermint at all. I honestly couldnt tell you what it tasted like, but I wont be going back.

Great atmosphere and staff! Less then amazing doughnuts. All the pictures were of massive doughnuts with crazy toppings like bacon, candy, and cereal. When we got there they were all plain doughnuts that werent special in any way. :/

Nice people working,b not only did they give me the wrong sized coffee (12oz instead of a 16oz) I didnt even want to go back to get the right size once I saw the let in people (a regular named Eddie) with a mask on his chin and said nothing about it. If that is your loophole policy, I wont be coming back.

My favorite coffee and doughnut spot in Seattle area. This Renton landing location has an awesome staff and not as crowded as the downtown location. Did I mention they are HUGE Seahawks supporters! Doughnuts and coffee and hawks fans...whats not to love?

The service staff we unfriendly and slow when I visited midweek, mid morning. Their traditional top pot donuts were tasty but the others we ate tasted a lot like plastic. The lattes were perfectly fine.

I tried ordering omline from door dash at 8 in morning. selected a dozen for about $25 but wouldnt let me choose what kind i can get. i called the store to have them package the kind flavors i wanted qnd they refused, saying they just pick whichever flavors and give it to door dash. i asked if they are packaging them at the store and donuts are fresh and they agreed. i asked why i cant pick my flavors, having already paid and food hasnt been delivered and that flat out refused. i asked im not asking them to make. more or anything and whats the difference from me coming straight in there and picking what i want. they still refused to even hear what kind i want to see if its available and that after i placèd order they just throw whatever kind they want in a box with no regard for what customer wants and said could take it up with corporate. cqncelled order immeditely. its a shame, bought. their donuts at grocery stores in past but never at an actual location. last time ill make that mistake.

Great doughnuts but I cant afford to come back soon. I just bought one maple bar and one Bavarian cream for $9.42.Thats almost $5 each..I mentioned something about the high prices to the server and she just giggled.

We actually visited for a birthday party, I had no idea they did this. The kids loved it and the staff were very pleasant for all the chaos that was there. They offered open coffee bar as part of the party and it was very organized. My espresso drink was really good, which I wasnt expecting at a donut shop so thats a huge plus. I have four kids so obviously donuts are popular around here, Top Pot hasnt let us down.

Excellent service! I told the employee behind the counter that they had given me the wrong item (in fairness, it sounds very similar), and she immediately started preparing the correct item. She told me I could keep the other if I wanted, and they also gave me a card for a free coffee! Now THAT is how to ensure customer satisfaction.

I currently placed an order on DoorDash, the order has been pending confirmation by TOP POT so after 30 minutes of waiting - I called to see if they were open and they were. So I let her know I had an order placed and they need to confirm it and she said No We Dont, the driver just shows up. I said the App says we are pending your confirmation - its been an Hour and Im still waiting for them to confirm the order on their end, and have had 3 different drivers.... SMH

Huge spot for coffee and breakfast. They have the best coffee! I come here more for that than the donuts. They never seem to run out of donuts either which is nice. Great little breakfast pies too! One of our favorites!

Donuts were surprisingly expensive and they run out pretty quickly in the afternoon. But man, theyre just so good. Nice location, staff are friendly, just about everything about the place is solid.

My go to place to have donuts and coffee. Do try their Bavarian cream filled donut. Its absolutely delicious.

Delicious donuts & decaf coffee and diligent & friendly staff. I would give the staff 5 stars. However the business owner does themselves a disservice by not having changing tables for babies in the bathrooms. If you are a patron with a baby, you should probably grab that treat somewhere else or to go.

I love the coffee at top pot. I go here just for that. They do have great donuts but the coffee makes the place. They usually have seating and its never too noisy. My only issue is everytime I come here the staff messes up what I order. I ask for two smaller coffees 12oz in bigger cups 16oz for room. EVERY time I get one 12oz and one 16oz coffee. Not a big deal, they fix it so I still go back!

The store itself is beautiful. Its like no other donut shop Ive ever been in. The staff members I encountered this morning were friendly and helpful.As for the donuts, I did enjoy the flavor. I found the glaze perhaps a little over the top.Biggest drawback is the price. I guess given the location, I shouldnt have been surprised.

Bought two donuts, cost me almost $6. Thats a lot for flower and sugar, the two cheapest things. You can buy a whole chicken for that. Kings donuts are better.

Pros: Friendly staff and great coffee. Cons: Pricey and their hot chocolate was too sugary. I prefer Krispy Kremes donuts to theirs.
