Last minute I wanted to buy cupcakes to bring to my sons gymnastic class for his birthday. I called in the morning and they were kind enough to allow me to make a custom order last minute. They were not selling vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting but made ones and then allowed me to choose the sprinkle colors so all I had to do was add the Superman cupcake decorations. They were so kind and helpful! Will definitely be back!

Very home-feel with lots of places to sit and relax, both indoor and outdoor. Lovely garden outside and colorful decorations inside. Very friendly and nice woman owner too. She bakes her own baked goods, including a traditional Russian cake called Baba Au Rum that she serves warm with a fresh spray of rum on the outside! Must try. Coffee was good too.

Very friendly customer service, place was clean and well maintained, nicely designed and decorated, got different kinds of cupcakes, but flavors wasnt good enough, like lemon one doesnt even have any flavor, only chocolate flavor was ok.

The coffee and teas are unique and they do not disappoint. Yes, its a little more on the pricier side but the ambiance makes up for it.

Delicious vegan chocolate cupcakes! Im a little snobby about baked goods, and I was blown away. They pipe on the frosting fresh and it was fluffy and chocolatey... Feels like a welcoming, neighborhood spot. Cupcakes are the bomb. One of a few places with loose leaf oolong tea, great customer service, and a few meal offerings, to boot (havent sampled widely from that menu). Recommended for anyone looking for cupcakes, or a place with a cozy, homey feel.

My friend and I were out shopping and came across this amazing shop. So clean, great service from the owner/ baker HERSELF. We sat outside and ate our amazing treats. The cupcakes are baked to perfection and she put the icing on FRESH the second we ordered them. This is THE SPOT. We later found out they do icing shots. Im not big on icing and usually throw half away... but that icing there mmmmmmmmmmm. Wowwwww

This place is one of my favorite coffee shops. Staff are always friendly. They make good coffee and wonderful cupcakes. My dog also loves this place because she always gets her puppuccino when she visits.

Really good chai latte and matches green tea cupcake. The place was really nice and cozy/comfy. Sofas and tables to relax and enjoy your snack or hang out with friends. The coffee was from Cafe DArte, which is one of my fav coffee. The frosting on the cupcake was a butter cream type, not too sweet (American style) or too subtle (Asian style). The cake portion was soft and moist. Not the best Ive ever tasted, but very good. Ill have to come back again and try some of the other flavors.

Their Wild Berry smoothie is the best thing in the universe.

The sweetest little shop in a great area (when theres no construction) The cupcakes were moist, and not too sweet or dense. They frost them fresh in front of you so you dont have hard stale frosting. Will be back sooooon!!

Cozy, comfy coffee shop! The staff is friendly. Its a very relaxed atmosphere, couches and comfy chairs as well as tables make it easy to chill with their excellent coffee and treats (various cupcakes and large cookies (a few gluten free options))! They also have sugar free syrup which is much appreciated by those of us who cant have sugar. Its a great location within walking distance of some fun places and other restaurants.

Stopped by for the first time today and had a cupcake which was delicious. I gave a 4 star rating because I didnt feel any connection with the staff as they were preoccupied with something in the back of house.

Delicious, high quality food and drinks! The cupcakes were rich, but not sickeningly sweet like specialty goods tend to be. The caramel cupcake was perfectly moist with just the right amount of frosting. Their drinks are a little pricey, but worth it! The smoothies are thick and full of real fruit; great flavor and a great texture. The inside of the shop was cozy, comfortable and full of fun decor, I ended up staying a while to enjoy the atmosphere.

This is a great little shop! We came in for coffee and cupcakes. The coffee was good and the cupcakes were delicious. I had a latter and an Orange Creamsicle cupcake while my fiance had a raspberry mocha and a Ballerina cupcake. The menu was amazingly eclectic for a coffee shop! Coffee, tea, Mexican Chocolate, Bubble tea... It was pleasantly surprising to say the least.

A very homey coffee spot in downtown Renton. I go here all the time for a decently priced drink and a comfortable place to drink it.The decor is older and comfortable, like a pair of well-worn jeans. Coffee and baked goods are always good and not overpriced. Not ideal service if youre in a hurry. I go here to relax and slow down anyway, so waiting a bit to get my order is fine with me.

This is a local favorite in Renton. The staff (owners) are extremely nice and welcoming. I didnt know what to get so they recommended a drink to me and it was great. Theres a variety of seats to choose (cozy leather chairs benches). I love the ambiance here and the customer service. Will come back again.

I wasnt expecting much from the coffee was there for the cupcakes but both were better than expected. We dont live nearby but plan to come back soon.

Every time we come here my fiance and I are greeted with a smile. The owner is a love, and her employees have always treated us well. Today we were treated especially well. My fiance who cant have caffeine order our drink without caffeine hoping we would get a drink with decaf, we got the drink without coffee at all and to her it didnt taste right. To me it tasted fine. She went to them and asked for a frap with decaf in it. They remade it with a smile and let us keep both. I highly recommend common ground!

This is my favorite coffee shop! I bring all my friends and family here. They know their customers and have my drink memorized. I love that its a family owned business. I gave them 5stars because my experience is usually always great and my coffee is always made perfect. I will warn that they do have another barista come in from time to time. I dont see her there very often, but she does a terrible job at making my coffee. Loads of ice and milk. I can never even tell that she put coffee in there. I always order a simple white mocha with coconut milk, everyone else there does a fantastic job but on rare occasions she will be there and I regret getting my coffee, like today. I always get a 20 Oz, she gave me a 16 Oz, when I told her she just dumped my drink into a larger cup and added more milk and ice and yep thats all I taste, milk and ice. If I had more time and didnt have to catch a bus I would have said something. So just beware, otherwise its a wonderful little Shop!

The cupcakes look better than they taste. To be honest the frosting was the problem. Overly sweet and way too heavy. The other pastries that they serve are excellent. The coffee was great here! The staff was friendly. I came for the cupcakes, stayed for everything else.

This place caught my eye which exploring this little downtown area. I wanted to get something sweet but not always keen on ice cream. My daughter and I came in and was not disappointed. She got a red velvet cupcake which she loved and raved about the icing (she doesnt normally like icing) and didnt waste anytime finishing off the rest either. I got a smoothie and some treats to bring back to my husband. It was all really really good. The shop is comfortable place to come anytime and just relax oppose to a starbucks type atmosphere.

Great local coffee place with pastries, cupcakes and a huge selection of drinks! So much character and charm. I will say it can get quite noisy inside so its hard to carry a conversation. Otherwise its definitely a nice place if you want a quick pick me up.

My fiancé and I come here all the time, and order the blended espresso frappes. Every time we always ask ourselves why did we ever spend money at Starbucks! The frappes are so creamy and delicious, the environment is warm and welcoming, and the staff are always so kind.

One of my favorite coffee spots around. Common Ground is such an asset to the downtown. The family that owns this place are amazing, always so kind and wanting to be involved in the community. Their customer service is great. The staff here is always so fun and friendly. I love their jasmine tea and their lavender cupcakes are a must try! They also will utilize different ingredients from the Renton Farmers Market and its so fun to see what they choose to highlight. Always will love going to this downtown Renton staple. Great place to work for an afternoon or study! Plus one of the owners has a green thumb and youre surrounded by gorgeous plants and greenery! Adore Common Ground and the staff here

A little slow because places like this are used to serving one or two people at a time. Had a family of eight in front of me. But the staff was friendly and quick -- once they got to me. The fruit oat bar is just like the one my great-grandmother made when I was a kid. Ill be back.

This is a funky, eclectic, wonderful place. Great people, making delicious cupcakes and other threats, while serving really good coffee and having fun. My strawberry rhubarb muffin with cream cheese frosting was perfect with my Americano.

And just a extremely relaxed like atmosphere in a quaint little place which gives this feeling of having a cup of joe in your favorite cozy living room chair by the window or sitting at your kitchen dinette table eating coffee cake and sipping a perfectly made cup of coffee, while reading the newspaper. My favorite spot to just sit and experience a really good cup of coffee.

Although the cupcake are a little expensive, you can tell they are made from quality ingredients, so I am not upset about the price. I love the coffee, smoothies, and Italian sodas here, and the family that runs the shop its delightful. They always have water for my dog, and there are plenty of seats with tables out front with shade from a tree and umbrellas. They also have air conditioning, which helps a lot on those hot days.
