Standard Safeway, with some wonderful characters working there. Polite, courteous, and engaging. Note that when you see clearance items, that need you to go to Customet Service, head there before assuming they still have the product in stock. Its usually in short supply or gone already.

Beware of counterfeit bills. A safeway cashier passed me one when I got cash back. I saw her lift her drawer up and get something. I was just too trusting to check my money. She gave me a bogus $20 bill. I wonder why she chose me?

Slow and uncommunicative service. PLUS, for the second week in a row, overcharged on my markdowns. I watch my Just for you every week. I have for years and have had great service and accuracy at the West Seattle Safeway. I moved to Renton in March. Your store is in need of leadership. Im just a couple of more screw ups from leaving. I also buy a LOT of prescriptions monthly, so it would be a shame and hassle to leave. Time to motivate and/or kick some rear ends. Get your markdowns repaired as well. Guys, the Fred Meyer across the street is weak, so your opportunity is there. Lets go.

Parking lot is always filthy, front of the store smells like urine, can never have a clear shot straight into the store without walking around a homeless person passed out somewhere or asking for change. The prices are a bit high, and how can Safeway consider one of its products to be better and priced higher than a brand name of the same thing on the same shelf. This is a good location, but variety and cleanliness are lacking.

This is a solid NO. Just tried to visit this location and its disgusting. I couldnt even park without being harassed by one of the many troll zombies wandering around. The place is dark, dirty and has a strongly unsafe feel to it. Based on a guys shirt they might have security but if so then thats sad because he was sitting smoking a cigarette loitering with the rest of his crew I guess.

Horribly rude employees all around, and even worse set of loss prevention workers. Not based only on how Ive ever been treated personally, but also all of the numerous encounters Ive witnessed them all have with other people/customers!!

This Safeway is like in the Ghetto now a days. There are quite a bit of homeless wandering at the front door as well as in the parking lot. Some of them even trying to approach the customers for money. I would not recommend coming to this Safeway at night time.

There seemed to be plenty of people working, but only two cashiers. The lines were well down the aisles.My cashier was very nice and had a positive attitude which could have easily been otherwise with the amount of people who were waiting for service.

One spot shopping for all your needs. The best prices for your grocery needs and a deli with hot food including meals to go. Many locations and online orders through Instacart and other Apps. Some stores open 24/7 check for hours to confirm.

Safeway is not very safe anymore what do you think have you walked across the parking lot in your bare feet because youre homeless and you dont have any job no money and nobody will help you well buy you a pair of shoes get you a pair of shoes try walking across their parking lot

Decent location overall - one of the better meat depts of the large chain stores in the area, as well as good bakery and deli foods. Sometimes the options can be lacking, but they have a nice-sized Asian and Mexican food section. Plus their rewards program is good, you can really make your dollar stretch.

Seeing good changes ...they got self checkout back and it helps. A few employees have been very helpful throughout the process they have a lot of theft and sometimes there is an element in the store just helping themselves to whatever they want we keep shopping here in lieu of the fact and hope that it will change unfortunately I hate seeing them stock in the middle of the day

Its a safeway. Honestly I prefer this one over alot of others I go to. Will say, it is homeless beacon so if you have problems with that go elsewhere but if you are like me then I give cudos to store for not running them out of store front and store. They people too and not hurting anyone. But I find some items here I cant find in others and seems to always be stocked in items. Clean. Has bathroom 🚻. The biggest plus and I hope safeway sees this and hears me out: Electric Car charger. But lets add least 1 more please! Only 1 there but if your lucky and its empty then free charge while grocery shopping.

It is a Safeway, they have groceries, I think you know what to expect. I had the spicy chicken tenders from the deli and they were tasty. Glad they have self service checkout and accept Apple Pay. No complaints.

Busy old store. The deli food needs some work never taste fresh not good. Prices ok and has all the same store stuff. Parking lot crazy, LADYS park up front. Most the walkers are nice but some arent.

Great location but thats where the story ends. Renton 3rd Ave store has sadly gone down hill. prices are put of control, vagrants stand in the doorways causing the store to look like a re-hab center, only 1 of the 2 doors allow for entry/exit of the store, carts not cleaned .. the list goes on

I came around 4:30 pm to get gas all I had was cash but you did not have a gas station attendant! I stood there for 20 mins no sign off your gas station attendant! Maybe I will go else where for gas if this keeps up!

Candy is a wonderful person. Positive energy and easy to chat with during checkout. She made me feel WONDERFUL!!!

Decent and clean store. The two things that turn me off from this one is higher prices than Fred Meyer across the street and Walmart just up the road. The other is the homeless hanging around outside the store and them using drugs on the side of the store. Its still not a bad store. The deli has good food and the pharmacy is quick and they are very helpful.

Store was nice and clean inside. Produce employee helped me immediately and then above and beyond for my butternut squash.

Im from out east, this was the second Safeway Ive visited thus far. Not sure if its just this location or if they lock the restrooms at them all and make you get an associate to let you in. Either way, this ones restroom was not well kept, they need to get people who can mop a floor, there was buildup all over the place, they had a large roll of toilet paper sitting on the water tank thankfully because there was none in the toilet paper holder. Also all their items are overpriced, you have to be a member to get items for what they normally cost at other grocery stores, unless its a guarantee priced item, like Arizona tea or those chips that say they cost $2.29 a bag. I plan to patronize other grocery stores for the time being.

I love the Safeway but I dont really care for the fact that they havent been opening up one set of doors but I understand its covic and safety so I still give it five stars all right

Safeway in downtown renton gets a lot of criticism for being ghetto, but it’s a great place with great people! Trina makes the best breakfast burritos, she remembers clients and just makes my day.

Its a good store with fresh produce and friendly customer service. CDC GUIDELINES is taken seriously. Good savings with membership card.

Never go here at night or with a child. Drug dealers peering around corners at the entrance. Creepy men in the parking lot. 0 stars if I could. Very unsafe. Its not Safeways fault its just the location.

Since I live right behind this Safeway, I shop there almost everyday. I normally have no problems and staff are very kind, but there has bin a couple of times that I was followed by a theft prevention worker all the way to the register. I find it very insulting because of how much Ive gone there and Ive spent A LOT of money there.

Not as good as a selection as the other Safeway for food. The hot food is old or too salty. And not the safest parking lot or area. Cops are called there constantly.

The store itself is fine, but the bathroom is utterly vile. Stalls are covered in all manner of graffiti and have broken locks. I thought Safeway had higher standards then a highway truck stop.

Checkout times are crazy. They have 1 lane open besides the self checkouts, with 20 people waiting in each line. I’ve been here 5 times and every time it is like this. I love their selection and prices but won’t come back because of my checkout experiences.

Great store. Friendly staff. Only thing cant understand is why so many products are still hard to come by during the pandemic. At least having some answers about certain products that havent rebounded or just keep getting worse would be a help. The meat department usually has excellent buys. But the produce section is the best. They dont try selling secondhand veggies and fruits as some stores. Switched to this store from a competitor that strangely based its product selection and discontinuing items by trends outside our region. Quality product and local focus wins the day.

Safe way has the best deals in town

A Safeway like all other Safeways really. Nothing stands out except hoards of homeless folks near the entry/exit gates. I usually avoid going there late evenings after a particularly nasty incident last year.The interior itself is decent enough. Great selection of groceries and meat and everything in between. Pretty good liquor section too!It must be noted though - unless you are a club member, prices are high. Sometimes much higher than Fred Meyer. I would like to think that Safeway is slightly better quality than Fred Meyer but I cant be sure.As such, the store is in really great location, easily visible from the road and has ample parking space.

This place has a good selection of groceries and if you can get stuff on sale, it is reasonably priced but otherwise things here are overpriced. The area is also very sketchy with all the homeless people.

I usally go to fred meyer the help is nicer then Safeway the prices at Safeway are just out rages what they have as a sale price fred meyer has everyday prices that are as good but most time they are much lower then Safeway and there are usally more assisted to help at Freddys then Safeway there is no one to help and the one in auburn closes much earlyer then other towns Safe way has gone way down in qwality and severs
