Fantastic! The employees are knowledgeable and friendly and not just trying to get you to buy. I came in because my phone is on its last legs, and ready to buy a new one. However when the store associate opened up my account, he said since the phone was under warranty and the issues I was having qualified me for a replacement, a new phone (a better model too, because mine no longer is being sold) free of charge will be arriving tomorrow. Cant beat this service! :)

Ironically I have been to this store four times over the past year for various reasons. I lost my phone while traveling, set up a new line for my daughter, needed help with Android/IPhone connectivity, and then needed a new device. Typically my experience at other service providers brick and mortar locations, I feel bombarded and the vibe is pure chaos, but not here. Each time I got what I needed and never felt up-sold or pushed to make a decision. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the manager (Nate?) is always making sure everyone is being helped and supports his team members when needed. Five stars. Thanks guys!

I had to get another phone because my current phone needed a battery. The people that work there that I had helped me were absolutely great. My only complaint is that the store has a miserable supply of extra items, so for my new phone that was shipped to me, I had to order my add-ons that I usually buy when Im right, there from Amazon. Also it is a very large store that should be able to have Verizon FiOS as well as Verizon cell phone in one place.... As to that was how the store was when I originally purchased my first cell phone.

It has been a several day process trying to get switched over to Verizon from Google Fi and get my new sim card activated. I went to a different Verizon store several times and spent hours on the phone with technical support to no avail. I finally went to this store and got a resolution to my problem. Steve was the Verizon tech assisting me yesterday afternoon (10/7) and spent a considerable amount of time and effort to get the problem resolved one way or another. Out of the 10+ Verizon reps that I have dealt with via phone, chat, and in person over the last few days, Steve was by far the most professional and helpful. I wish that I had gone to this corporate store sooner, as it probably would have saved me some time and sanity. Thank you again Steve.

This is the worst Verizon store ever. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Sterling. These people are beyond incompetent. One question and five different answers. None of them right, mind you. All I wanted was activation of a phone that wasn’t bought at their store it was still tethered to Verizon. They refused to activate it and tried to sell me the phone that I had already bought for $168. I walked out, went to Best Buy. Best Buy was running a Verizon sale on the phone that I wanted/bought and I got the phone for free and paid $20 to activate. It was a Verizon sale and the Verizon store didn’t know about this sale or didn’t offer it to me. Go to Best Buy and get good customer service there

I went to this store and was really disappointed. My phone died and I had to get a new one but I was indecisive as to what to get. The guy that helped me was clearly trying to get home or something. He didnt even set up my phone, just handed me the unopened box and sent me off. I ended up getting a phone that I had to return because I didnt realize it was an older version. Hope their customer service gets better because I really like this carrier.

After reading reviews online, I expected to have a bad experience. I had the total opposite! I was greeted immediately upon entering by a knowledgeable representative with a headset and a tablet in hand. It felt like walking into an Apple store. To a person, the staff was helpful, accommodating and professional. The specialist I worked with showed me how to file an insurance claim to completely replace my phone, and helped me complete the process online - faxing, emailing and printing the documents necessary to file the claim. Other staff members helped as well. While working on the claim, I heard one staffer consulting with a customer who mentioned hed been sick. The staffer inquired about his health and listened as the man explained his many conditions. The staffer responded with empathy and care. This was the best experience Ive ever had at a Verizon store.

We went to the store inquiring about Gizmo Watches and immediately the store person noticed the company logo on my shirt and said that not only does Verizon offer discounts because I work for this company, but that we would also not have to pay activation fees which would save us $80 up-front ($40 per line). In addition, they were having a $50 off promotion per watch ($130 each, regularly $180). So, given the deal that was being offered, we purchased the watches and the only data plan (according to the store employee) that was available for the watches. The store employee told me that the only way Verizon could verify my employment to receive the discount on my bill and waive the activation fees is if I were to return to the store with my physical work ID in-hand. I got busy with work travel, so I decided to call in to customer service to see if there was another way to verify my employment. I found out during my conversation with the telephone customer service rep that 1) I was not eligible to have activation fees waived and there was $80 in charges on my bill that I needed to pay, 2) all I needed to do to verify my employment was enter in my work email into their website which I could have done in-store, and 3) I found out that there was a special plan for the Gizmo Watches that was $10 less a month than I was paying. In other words, the store employee put me on a higher costing plan that was unnecessary. We were eventually able to get the activation fees waived, instated the discount, and put us on the correct plan for the watches.Fast-forward 3 weeks and one of the watches’ speakers stops working properly. There was no damage to the device. A customer service rep stated that this would be covered under warranty and they would be sending a replacement device via 2-Day Air.Three days later we received an empty box with a return-label. I figured the return-box was sent ahead of the replacement device, which seemed odd, but the order status for the replacement watch on my Verizon app said that the order was still processing and not yet shipped, so I waited a couple extra days before calling. Now 5 days after placing the replacement order without receiving the watch, we called customer service again and the person we spoke to this time was also confused as to why we had not received the replacement device. The service rep cancelled the last order and placed a new order. This time overnighting it to us. Three days later, same situation—we received an empty box with a return label. We went through two customer service reps and eventually talked to someone that said that our defective watch needed to be returned first, then they would send out a replacement device. This was because they were going to attempt to repair the watch before sending a replacement device, which was not what any prior customer service rep had told us up to this point. At this point, given the significant negative experiences coupled with an alarming amount of misinformation coming from each of the several Verizon representatives we had spoken to in the relatively short amount of time we had been Verizon customers, we wanted out of our agreement and to return the devices back to Verizon for a refund. We communicated this to the representative who said that they would close out the account but need to have a Manager review the refund request account and call us back. We never received a call back from the Manager and are unable to get through to any person above a service representative to discuss our issue. We have two watches that cost $130 each (one that is defective) that are now useless. The customer service representatives are refusing to accommodate a refund for the devices (including the defective one) and is currently ignoring all attempts to reach a resolution. We feel like we have been given false and misleading information from the beginning and have asked for restitution—for us to be able to walk away as if we had never been Verizon customers.

This is a worst Verizon store Ive been at. I went in this morning (08/02/14) to buy a prepaid plan with my own smart phone. Unlike other customers, I was lucky enough not to wait in the long line, but that is where all the good things ended. The guy named Jorge who helped me with prepaid didnt look happy because I already have a smart phone to use with, not buying new prepaid phone from them. Then he told me the only prepaid plan they have is $60/month for unlimited talk/text and 1GB of data. I told them that theres a $45/month plan with unlimited talk/text and 500MB data and for $50/month, you get 1GB of data, not $60/month. He said Verizon doesnt have plan like that, must be some other competition. I told him theres indeed a plan like that from Verizon because I just chatted with Verizon online before coming to store. He said he can show me what plan they have from his tablet. Unfortunately for him, I said YES, show me what you got from your tablet. He checked and BINGO!, theres a $45/month plan like i mentioned. He apologized insincerely and I got that plan.My question is: Why they try to trick me? Either hes stupid enough not to know what plan they have in his own store Or he think Im stupid enough just to go along with what he said. Luckily, I checked online before coming to store and home work paid off. Also, after i paid for the prepaid plan, I looked up on the prepaid booth, there is a HUGE advertising sign, and it said: :Prepaid, smart phone 4G, $45/month. I was like, what the F, they put the Ad right there and still lie to customer. So either that guy ignorant enough not to know whats going on in the store or think he can trick me easily. The whole atmosphere going down from there, a lot of awkward moment. But it did not end there, he was supposed to write down a 4 digit security code for me so I can register online. He did not give me the code. He said I can register online by just using phone number. Really? really? This is how Verizon train their staff? I didnt bother staying there for another minute. I left and went to other store to get the code. The whole experience can be summarized as: Deceiving, Lying, Unprofessional and Stupidity.

This is the second time in a year that I have gone into the Verizon store in Reston and come out a very satisfied customer. In both cases it was because I was assisted by Ali, who seems to be the stores best expert on phones and how to get them working most effectively for you. This time Ali helped my wife upgrade to an iPhone 6 and to move all of her photos from her old phone. He spent a lot of time with us. I also was helped by Ahmed, who helped get the wifes data out of the cloud. What a frustrating experience to walk into this Reston Verizen branch. If there was a contest on which company could most poorly offer its customer service and general support for its products, this store would easily win. It is very clear that this location either has no management or if it does, it might as well not exist. Of course, the real blame should ho to the top managentvtier at Verizon for not noticing this obvious problem with their stores. Three words exemplify my past 3 visits to this Reston location of Verizon and the encounter with its staff: They are UNINFORMED, UNMOTIVATED and UNWILLING to do what one would normally expect of them, and it all shows... Awful, Awful, Awful Customer Service. I have never been in a store where the employees are so absolutely disinterested in helping customers.I came in due to an issue that I was having with my new phone that I had upgraded just 2 days ago, and wanting to do an even swap for a new one. I specifically said that I could easily confirm whether or not the issue existed on the new phone (as this issue was being reported in forums by other customers), before they did the exchange. The person helping me, Lynette (I believe), ignored all of it and just started ringing up the exchange. Lo and behold, the same issue existed on the new phone. At this point, I am now being told that I cant exchange for another phone, because they just did an exchange...again, despite the fact that I specifically said I could verify beforehand to be sure before they rung anything up. I never received an opportunity, because by the time I was handed the phone to check, it was already entered as an exchange on my account.I was then told to go to another store and they could do it. I therefore asked if they could please contact the other store to explain the situation, and let them know that I was coming. This was to ensure that I didnt travel out of my way, only to be told that nothing could be done (as I was being told at this location).Lynette literally just dialed the number to the other store, handed me the phone and walked away (!!). All the while, as were trying to sort this out, I had to endure her incessant heavy exhales that were clearly (and childishly) meant to make it clear to me that doing her job and having to put some extra effort in to help a customer was apparently an inconvenience. If she had called, being far more familiar with Verizons policies, it would have been a lot faster than me trying to explain the entire situation and fumbling over why one location is saying they cant do anything, but this other location will magically be able to.Finally a manager who cares about customer service, Diego, came over and called the other location. He explained the situation, told me who to ask for and gave them my name. The other location was HEAD AND SHOULDERS superior to this location in terms of customer service. They were friendly, acknowledged my concerns, took the time to resolve the issue that couldnt be done at the Reston location, were patient and completely understood why I would not want a faulty phone for 2 years just because it was inconvenient to do another exchange. They were able to resolve the issue, despite the exchange now listed on my account from the previous store.Steer clear of this location. Customers and their experience are not a priority here.

Dec 1, 2015: The salespeople at this store try very hard - unfortunately the managers, particularly the one who I dealt with this evening (Nara Nachvy - not sure about the spelling) is terrible, unhelpful and rude. We came into the store to upgrade one of our phones - we received a text message about being eligible to upgrade and receive $100 off a phone. She refused to honor the discount because she claimed a) that it applied to a different line (we have three) and b) that the offer expired the previous day. We left the store for 5 minutes and retrieved the text message to show a) that it was sent to the correct line and b) that no expiration date was provided in the text. When we returned to the store the salesperson was very nice and started to process the upgrade. The manager however apparently was more anxious to leave than help a customer and she walked away from us, went in the back and when the salesperson went to get authorization for the discount she refused to even come out to discuss it with us. She told the salesperson to tell us that it had expired (no proof whatsoever of that) and that maybe Verizon would honor it on line - clearly an attempt to simply get rid of us so that they could leave. Terrible, terrible, terrible.March 18, 2021 - stopped by to get help activating my new iPhone - the salesperson essentially said “I’m busy, go do it yourself”... why do I even bother going to this store for assistance. Three hours later and multiple calls to Verizon I finally got it activated. When I was able to get a human to speak with on the phone it took 5 mins and she was very helpful. In general though, Verizon has the worst customer service that I’ve ever dealt with and their online systems are awful. They deliberately do not price a lot of their items, then make up the price as they go along to create these deals.

Adam was very rude and not-caring. Very flipid about how to help me. His associate approached us as if he could help. But then referred us to Adam at the counter. Neither were helpful and didn’t seem to care. I was going to code my services from sprint to Verizon... NOT A CHANCE

Worst customer service ever. Their representatives lie about promotions. I was falsely promised $400 on rebate for two phone and only got $200 despite many visits. Fios customer service representative is always on phone when serving customers. How rude and unprofessional. I hope I dont have to go there again. Switching my carrier to someone else as soon as the contract is over.

My friend and I went to the store to buy the new Iphone X on February 26, when my friend was buying the phone, (Syed) business specialist mentioned that if you have any issue with the phone, you have 14 days to return or exchange it. A week after my friend bought the phone, his problem with his phone started and we went back to the store to solve the issue and (Johnathan) business specialist said that there is nothing wrong with the phone and the issue is from sim card. He changed the sim card and we still had issue with the phone and we had to restart it twice per day after that to work properly. Therefore we went back to the store and try to change the phone but the manager of store(Antquan) said that we cant do that and we need to go to apple store to find out about the issue even due the time of the return or exchange hasnt past and still we had one day left for return or exchange. when we try to convince him that it is our right to exchange the phone if we want to before 14 days but still he didnt let us doing it and my friend couldnt, speak English fluently, thats why he asked me to go with him but when I was explaining the problem to the manager by translating for him, the manager told him speak English. first of all if he could speak English, then I wasnt there to explain every detail of what my friend said.Second, when you see someone speak another language than English but has some one to translate for him, it is so rude and it is an obvious prejudice act to tell the person speak English. The manager of the Store(Antquan) forced us to go to apple store and find out about the issue of the phone by not returning the phone. we spend 4 hours of our time by going to apple store and come back to Verizon for one phone exchange. At the end we brought a letter from the apple which shows, the phone that Verizon sold to us, has issue. It was our 100% right to return or exchange the phone in 14 days but he didnt only pay attention to our right but he told us if we have more objection about this matter, he force us to go to another Verizon store to exchange or return it. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen from a manager. I dont recommend this store to anyone for any kind of service.

I just purchased a new LG G6. I regret it. Not because of the phone, but the salesman. A bald, white and short guy with the worst attitude Ive ever seen. Is it because I just came back from work and look tired and a mess? Or because I entered the store and mentioned I needed something cheap (or so I thought). Or maybe because Im an immigrant with an accent? Not sure but this guy was not making me feel good. If you hate your job just quit. Just saying. Or if you judge people by how well dressed they are, quit too, cause you suck. Is my right as a customer to make questions! I paid over 700.00 in a new phone and he went in the back to grab it. When he came back I was expecting a box with a seal and a fresh phone inside. He came from the back with the phone already in his hands and 40% charged. I questioned that. He said it was new that they dont sell used stuff. I questioned why its battery was partially charged. He said it came from China a month ago fully charged and it loses some power in the back. Wait. What? I said: you are saying it only used 60% of the battery in an entire month inside a box in the back of the store? Was that an stupid question? Because he totally acted like it was and said impatiently that he could grab every phone in the back for me to see and they all would look like this. No seal in the box. Then said that I could speak to the manager if I wanted. Impatient voice again. Unfortunately I said no, grabbed the phone, the receipt, a bag and left that place as fast as I could. Got home and started finally looking closer at the phone. There are a couple of game apps already installed (Panda Pop and Mobile Strike). Is it normal?Im never coming back to this location. Wish I had read the reviews here before. Best buy folks are friendly. I regret I didnt buy it there.

I went into this Verizon store to have a screen protector installed on my iPhone5. Pretty simple stuff, however it turned into a nightmare when the staff needed to take my phone into the back room to do this for some reason. When I got my phone back not only was the screen protector installed horribly with dust and air bubbles all over the place but my phone had also mysteriously entered safe mode and all of my settings had been reset. When I brought this up to the store manager at the time he told me they did nothing to my phone and that I must have hit a wrong button while taking the phone out of my pocket? Well, Ive had the phone for a while now with no such issues and I find it hard to believe that as soon as I let it out of my eye site with a Verizon employee and get it back in safe mode that it is my fault. Never again! stay away from this location!!

I came here to pick up my 2nd iPhone 7plus because the 1st one I got had camera problems. Some guy helped me with the exchange with my phone and he told me that I was all set and ready to go. I left the store and I when I got home I could not make nay phone calls on my new phone. I had to call Verizon told them my problem and the guy at the phone never activated my phone I was not connected to their service. I hate this store this is not the 1st time I have had issues. I would think If I got a new cell hone the would at least hook me up to their device so I can make a friggin phone call. Dont go her just go to Fair Oaks Mall.

Syed, dont deal with him. Ever. 3 times Ive been to the store and every time within 5 mins I am already angry and walking out because he refuses to do any real work. It is easier for him to make and excuse and have you leave then dealing with a customer. Its cool. Best buy got 2 new phone upgrades and I even saved 600 bucks through them. So much for customer service. This place is worst than the DMV.

1.0 star rating9/4/2017Bought an iPad from Verizon a few years ago and it froze, so thought I would start there for troubleshooting before I tried Apple. Met Syed Bukhari which is anyones misfortune. I have never met a service clerk so unskilled, sarcastic, untrained, angry, and poorly prepared. His sarcasm was not customer friendly nor was his appearance. Reston!!! Who are you hiring these days? I must say, I dread any time I go to a Verizon store and today strengthened that sentiment. My husband also wanted to remove his iPad from our Verizon account and the store folks couldnt help him!!! He has to call Verizon Customer Service because they cant do it in the store!!! Ahaha. So we left both insulted and still with the problems we went in with. A business case for why to shop elsewhere.

Ok so you walk in and there are 3 people standing around joking by the stupid kiosk check in. All of them have name tags that say Sales Associate....The Problem is not a single one of them can help you nor answer any simple questions about phones....instead they say you have to wait for a sales person to help you. So why the heck does your name tag say sales associate...dumb. So as you are waiting around, these three individuals stand around laughing and joking (probably at you because they know you are miserable) and when you go ask them how much longer they give you a wide range of, oh it depends 15 minutes maybe an hour. What kind of answer is that, even a crowded Outback on Sat night could give you a more accurate time.Go somewhere else, dont go here even if its convenient, you will walk out cursing more than you have ever in your life and if you have kids not good.

Worst experience I have ever had in a store in my life, the man who was helping me, his name was osmin or something like that gave me and my brother completely wrong information on how to get a different phone, as well as setting up this protection plan for 5 dollars which would help us in the long wrong so we dont get over our data, and he even said he set it up when it was not. I call the store back the next day and I speak with this lady and she said it was not set up and I will get it set up for you and told me to make an account on any phone so i chose my phone and told her im not the owner of the phone and she said it is okay and when she relised 10 minutes in she messed up she got so rude and told me that she would redirect me to the main customer service. Honestly Verizon store in reston is a complete joke and me and my family are really disappointed. Like i said worst expierence in a store in my life.

Wish I could give them 0 stars.Called them because I was wondering what time they closed because I had to drop off 3 FIOS set boxes and was instructed by Verizon FIOS tech support to drop the boxes off there. The guy who answered the phone gave me sounded like he had no interest at all in helping me, while also sounding like a certified DUMBASS. He was extremely rude and he told me that they dont take set boxes there and to drop it off at UPS or Fair Oaks Mall. When I asked him for more clarification on what to do at the UPS store, he hung up on me. When I called back, and I asked for details on where in Fair Oaks Mall I have to drop it off, his response was just you can google it and then hung up on me. If he had originally said that it was the Verizon Store at Fair Oaks mall, that would have been sufficient.I dont expect the most intelligent workers to be working, but I do expect that the employees there actually try to be as helpful and kind as possible, while being very clear with their answers. What is obvious to them is not obvious to everyone who calls. Ive never been hung up before by customer support and because of the anger it caused me, I think Ill be switching my business over to a different provider.

2 huge mess ups at this store. The first one was an Edge Agreement on one phone. When I came back to upgrade my phone, they put a NEW Edge Agreement on the other phone instead, so my account had 2 Edge programs instead of 1. When I cancelled one of the phones, they charged me $400.00 for an iPhone 4. It is 3/12/2015 - the iPhone 6 is out??? I called Customer Care and got nowhere. I even spoke with Katie, a supervisor at Customer Care and she did not care that there was a careless mistake at this Verizon store when they upgraded the 2nd phone and added a 2nd agreement onto the wrong device. Why would I have an Edge plan and an iPhone 4 when I could upgrade at any time. She was horrible and so was the Verizon store. Had to pay the fee since that phone line was cancelled and had no idea. Katie did not care and just kept reciting there were 2 contracts that were signed, even though I thought it was for 1 phone line - not both. Terrible experience and left Verizon after being a customer for 15 years. I am even going to leave Verizon Fios over this just because it is the same company and Customer Care doe NOT care about their customers.2nd issue was (at the same time) - my iPhone updated and with update corrupted the iOS. I took it to Verizon and they said take it to the apple store to see if they could fix it. The apple store could not fix it so I went back. My upgrade on the other line (without the Edge Program) was 14 days away. I asked them to just give me my upgrade since my phone did not work. They said NO! I had to have a phone sent to me through my warranty program. The phone was not delivered the next day as promised and was delivered the next day (Friday) while I was at work. I called Fedex and gave them the tracking number so I could pick it up at the Fedex location. Fedex said the way it was delivered, I was not ALLOWED to pick up the phone at their location and the next delivery was Monday since it was business delivery day only. So, I was going to go 5 days without a phone and this was my work phone as well. I drove back to this Verizon store and they called customer care and customer care still said there was nothing they could do and they called Fedex and they said the same thing. I had to wait until Monday and take off work to sign for the phone even though there was no signature required. They would not just leave the phone at my residence, even though I work and there is noone else there. It is not just this store who has sales reps that sell you Edge programs and not knowing what they are doing, or explaining it to you correctly, but customer care as a whole does not care if they retail stores make a mistake. When you go to the retails store to fix it, they say go to customer care and vice versa. Verizon is a terrible and I am leaving and going to Sprint in 6 days when my contract is over. I will also file a complaint with Federal Trade Commission and will even go so far as to write my Congressman. I had to pay $400 for a shady salesperson and because Katie, the customer care supervisor, did not care, she only cared about the contract....why would i have an iPhone 4 on the Edge Program ....Katie???? Makes no sense. VERIZON has stolen money from me!

I will only go into any Verizon store, but especially THIS particular Verizon store, if I absolutely have to. With the exception of one young woman, every representative that Ive ever been saddled with here has been rude, obnoxious, condescending, and technologically illiterate. The wait times just to do something simple are atrocious, and the snippy little let me sign you in dude that lurks near the door is the definition of a hipster that I dont want to talk to. Just plain snotty. These entitled little twits think that they are all-powerful or something. Let me clue in the less technically-confident of people out there...there is absolutely nothing, aside from physically holding a floor model phone in your hand, that you can do in the Verizon store that you cant do yourself or online. I promise. Do yourself a favor, go there, skip the sign-in, browse to your hearts content, and then order your phone online from Verizon. This is one of the only times I strongly recommend someone avoiding a brick and mortar store in favor of online shopping, but the Reston Verizon store is just so painful and annoying.
