They lost my Amazon return. Left two items and only one was shipped to Amazon.Also they charge a dollar per page to print a ups shipping label.Definitely going to avoid this location and choose another one with better service.
Fast service, good customer service, most of the employees (behind the desk) are ok, few are trying to be more polite and helpful.Not much crowded.Of course more expensive than USPS.Several other office services are available, but not as much as Fedex.
In August 2021, I visited the Plaza America UPS store #316 in Reston, VA to discuss shipping an expensive and almost brand new dining table and seven chairs from our home in Virginia to our second home in Myrtle Beach, SC. From the outset, the professionalism and customer service of John Barrantes was evident. I cannot say enough about the superb service received every step of the way. He and his team picked up the furniture at my home in Virginia and packaged every piece. The load was well over 500 lbs., and the cost for pick up, packing and delivery 450 miles away was very reasonable. Communications far exceeded my highest expectations. The delivery arrived on time, as scheduled and was very carefully packaged in several pallets. There was absolutely no damage whatsoever, not even a nick on any of the furniture. The performance of the Reston UPS store from start to finish could not have been any better. Thanks go to John and his team for their professionalism and the high-quality service provided by UPS. I couldnt be more pleased.
Team and management are easy to work with, professional and understanding. Its immediately apparent that its a good team environment, and theyll take care of you. Every trip to the store has been positive. Thank you especially to John for the extra effort in trying to track down my package.
I love the fast and friendly service here. They always have an answer for my shipping requests. Highly recommend. Much much better customer service than the FedEx store.
I had 5 heavy boxes full HUGE proposals in binders to send to one of my clients in Texas, and was struggling with getting FedEx to pick them up at my office. I finally was fed up and decided to take them to the UPS store up the street. I needed a push cart to haul these heavy boxes to my car. I pulled up in front of the UPS Store and started to unload these boxes, and an employee came out quicker than a hiccup to help. After taking one in, I was getting the cart out of my car. You dont need that he said as he picked up one box, then asked me to stack another on him.Fair enough ... but he said thank you sir may I have another? (Well, not literally) I plopped the small box on top and he easily took all three inside. BEAST MODE! He then took the last box while I parked and then went inside. I was promptly served and got my packages shipped with no hassle or frustration. I have used this UPS store a few times with excellent service, but this time they went above and beyond.

Do not use UPS! I paid $80 to ship two pages to Barcelona from this store. I was told it would arrive in 3-4 days. It didnt arrive until 15 days after I sent it! Now when I call UPS and ask for a.refund they say sorry, but we dont guarantee anything now with COVID. I said no one in the UPS store told me this. They were just happy to take my $80 and lie to me! I have had no problems with DHL or FedEx, but apparently UPS is still stuck in the early 20th century!

This place is awesome. They have the best most helpful staff of any UPS or FedEx store. They are professional, always helpful, and understands and practices good customer service, something missing in many consumer businesses today. I live closer to another UPS store in Reston but I always go to this one. My company uses FedEx Reston store but they charge too much and service is terrible. The entire crew at this UPS store works hard and they always make you feel like you are in good hands, representing the best of a locally owned small community business. Best part of this is that theyve been this way for years.
I would have given this UPS Store a 5 star but often they do not open on time. A couple of times I tried to drop off packages around 8:15am and they were closed. Store hours starts at 8am. Other than that, service is great.
Big John has been like a brother to me over the many years he’s lead this store to the best-of-class heights for the shipping parcel industry! This UPS store is not the closest to me but it matters not. The road is never too long for a visit to Big John and his wonderful staff and knowing with 100% certainty that anything shipped, large or small, will get to its destination on time and in perfect condition.
I have been using this UPS store for 15 years now. I have always found them to be very well informed on UPS procedures as well as clear and patient in explaining them to me and others. There is rarely any wait time and they work efficiently to get customers in and out.P.S. A little due diligence helps on the customers part to know what kind of service(s) they may or may not be using.
Just a note to let the owner and management know you have a fabulous staff. Every time I use this store, they are efficient, professional and courteous. I had an issue that required me to be on the phone with them several times to track a package. Nicki was incredibly professional in her assistance. Great customer service!!!

Very disappointing experience. About 3 months ago I took a sewing machine in for a shipping/packing estimate. $70, expensive but the machine was heavy. We decided to send it to a friend as a Xmas present so yesterday I went back to the store to ship it. $98 PLUS packing for a total of $133, almost TWICE as much. I approached the young man whod given me the estimate, he did remember me and despite trying to work the price down couldnt meet his estimate.Lugging the machine in wasnt easy and I wasnt pleased. The young man who misquoted me was VERY nice, but still...whats the point of getting an estimate when its totally wrong?What could they have done? Reduced the price to a midpoint between the estimate and the cost. As it is theyve lost a customer, MUCH more expensive!
I wanted to drop off a package, so I walked in and one of their staff received the package and asked if I need a receipt. The whole thing took 5 seconds. Fast service and the store had enough staff to help everyone. Great location.

I would not use this ups store they don’t inform you before doing services that charge you money. I brought my amazon return there and the attendant asked if I wanted to forward the email for him to print. Then I looked at the receipt and he charged me for the copies and 2.50 for a usb copy and print of the copies he had already made. I will never use this business because it’s all about transparency.
Giving Nicky some recognition for how she helped me yesterday. I had shipped a package out earlier that morning, and was told to change it from Ground to 2 Day Air. When I went back to the store to do it, she asked if they could find the package on the truck that was about to leave, and they couldnt.Nicky personally found this package, and created a custom solution for another package I was trying to ship. Where some may have said that they cant do this, Nicky was there to solve the problem and create a loyal UPS customer. We will absolutely use UPS over FedEX after this experience. We also had a billing issue she was able to resolve to keep the package delivery on-track.I hope there is something special that can be done for her and her family for all her excellent customer service that is so hard to come by these days.Not to mention that the store was really busy and there were many customers to help but I did not feel rushed at all through the process.
Yesterday I shipped a 1.75lb soft envelope to Colorado. When I was quoted at $20 for UPS, I asked what the rate would be if I were to use USPS, since this store offers both services. The attendant said there would only be a $2 difference because of the location. I went ahead and shipped UPS, but double checked when I got home. If the attendant would have taken the time to check the rates for priority USPS, he could have saved me over $12. Apparently the inconvenience of my query cost me. Cant say I will do business with this store or UPS again, if I can avoid it.

This store charges for a shipping bag with a UPS pre-shipping label.... UPS blamed the franchise. I suggest you go to the one at Southlakes.
I was greeted inside the door when I was dropping a box off to return to Amazon. I was asked if I needed a receipt. I was taken aback and responded No. It is a week later and Amazon hasnt received the return. I knew that was a bad idea. I had a feeling the second I left that the box wouldnt find its way back to Amazon! Beware of this store!
