Send in two laptops to fixed. Took over two weeks and got the laptops back. One got fixed or so I thought when it came to watching movies the screen would get lines and scrabble. It didn’t have that problem before at all. Second laptop only had a problem with the screen and I that was it. It was no longer even booting up. Checked it and it was something. It no longer had Ram modules installed crazy . My experience is not the same as everyone’s else just be careful. I’m simply writing to inform others To be careful. Update Shane got in touch with me and was able to return the memory and the laptop is back working fine. He also gave me an extra memory for it. Mixed ups can sometimes happen. I tried changing the fan on my MacBook myself. Big mistake. I pulled the connector off the logic board! It could be soldered, but I couldn’t do that and no one was willing to. Purchased one of my dream cars as sort of a coming home gift to myself. A 1991 Twin turbo Toyota Supra imported all the way from Japan. To my dismay, the ECU died within a month of ownership, understandable from a 28 year old car computer. Now a new one of these (If you can find one) will run you 1-2 thousand bucks. So I went about trying to find someone in the central Ohio area who will still do board level repair. Not one of the brick and mortar computer repair stores would take on the job and few even knew what I was talking about even after being SHOWN what repair to perform (All I need is a 30 cent capacitor re-soldered and a few traces checked). I resolved to perform the repair myself, but while looking online for soldering kits I find HeyNerdFixit on google. Called the listed number and spoke with the owner Shane, and right away I knew I was talking to someone who knows his trade. For the first time when I was explaining the smoking black hole in the 33 micro farad capacitor that blew up, the person didnt respond with Whats a farad?. Shane explained that their establishment is not open to the public but that he does on site troubleshooting, and delivers repaired components to the customer. I decided to give it a shot and asked Shane to take a crack at repairing my ECU. The repair took a little longer than estimated because of the memorial day weekend but Shane kept me updated nearly everyday until he had completed the job.Shane, sorry I took so long to write you a review but thank you again for the excellent work, I got the car fired up the very next day and she ran like a dream!

This is a great company, I am a college student with 5 classes and a full time job with the government. During one of my class assignments I contracted a grove-something or other virus. I am having more problems with my computer now than before I called him. The day after the service call I sent Shane a text letting him know that my computer was not working properly. He responded that one of the problems I was having was not something he could repair. I questioned that because he was rushed when he arrived at my home and didnt check it. He found some issues, one of which he had to use an electron microscope to detect. He found other problems unrelated to my tinkering, that had existed since another computer company customized it for me. He fixed the issues, and got it up to speed (literally overclocked everything for my gaming needs). I dont usually write endorsements, but in this case, I have to.

This man and his company are nothing but liars and crooks! I Paid him for a REPAIR on an iMac graphics card and he failed to do the repair and get the computer functioning. So he charges me FULL price for the FAILED REPAIR anyway and holds my until he is paid. Ridiculous! When you pay for a repair, you expect to have a functioning product. He did the repair. Failed. And charged me anyway. Never ever trust a mobile repair man. Has no physical location. Takes your computer then takes it to his shop. I should have listened to everyone and not gave this company my trust! Save your money and go to a real location with real computer technicians. He is only in business to fabricate lies and extort as much money from the community as he can.

Biggest project to date was a complete updating of my familys home entertainment system. He advised me on what projector and sound system to purchase, to replace our ancient existing equipment. He installed all components of the entertainment system, and the result was awesome. The projector image is HD razor sharp, and the image is HUGE. It fills up an entire wall in my basement. I had a long and winding experience, got frustrated and ultimately had to have my hard drive wiped clean. Each time Shane thought the malware he installed had removed my problem with ads, the ads would pop up again. Finally, after he wiped the hard drive my laptop has been ad-free for over 2 weeks now.
