Marie is a pleasure to work with. She made the process of updating our master bedroom and bathroom window treatments easy and fun! I often get overwhelmed with decor decisions and Marie offered her advice to guide me in the right direction. She helped us pick an option that follows our modern theme, and they work great. The window treatments are high quality and provide an ideal soft lighting throughout our room. Her installation assistant also went above and beyond to help us hang a few other items which was really helpful. I highly recommend working with Arentine Designs!

Marie is very knowledgeable, responds in a timely manner, her quotes are always correct and she isnt afraid to ask questions to make sure they create exactly what youre looking for. I am a return customer of Arentine Designs and have used them for projects both large and small for the last 20 years. Every project, ranging from intricate and elaborate drapery treatments to motorized shades to throw cushions, has been meticulously executed. I have been consistently impressed, both with the quality of Maries work as well as her integrity and professionalism. Ive found her knowledge of the craft to be extensive and every project has been completed with the utmost attention to detail. She is a pleasure to work with and I could not recommend her more highly.

UPDATE TO Arentine review: Hmmm...So Adkins is embarrassed and is trying to distract from her hysterical behavior in her response. I have nothing to hide, but she does.Notice in her response that she doesnt deny her screaming. She should not be angry over a project worth thousands of dollars because it was never hers to begin with.Any sane businessperson would follow this logic.No obligation to hire her. Does not matter how much she worked & that I complimented her fabrics. She chose to work, wasnt forced.She should have known better than to work for 7 hours without a signed contract. If I hadnt stopped her, she would have worked for 14 hours. Screaming at potential clients for not hiring her because she assumed incorrectly? Presumptuous? Could Adkins be so deluded? Its been quite an experience in finding a reliable, professional and talented window treatment company.Ive had the pleasure of meeting a number of fine companies with great people.Ive also had the misfortune of encountering a few unprofessional, inept companies and their ill-mannered, disrespectful owners as well, such as Marie Adkins of Arentine Designs, LLC. If I could leave a review of 0 stars for Arentine Designs, I certainly would. I met Adkins, owner of Arentine Designs in July 2021 thru the internet, and I invited her into my home. She was very pleasant and helpful. I explained to her that I was interviewing various companies and that I needed estimates for my window treatments. She provided the estimates within one week. That was all that I asked for and nothing else. At no time did I indicate, imply or suggest to her that I was going to hire her. However, she began doing additional time-consuming research and going beyond what I asked her to do. At first I thought this was necessary in order for her to update her estimates for me, but she continued to work as though I had hired her. This worried me because she seemed to assume that she had earned my business, although we had NO signed contract. She emailed me that she had obtained fabric samples for me from her design center and had shipped them to me. I replied to her that we should hold off on preliminaries until I had officially signed with her company. She seemed to understand the tone of concern in my message because she immediately backed off and I did not receive another email from her until seven days later, which was the following Monday morning. (By that time I had secured another window treatment company.) So I replied to her email that I would call her back that same day, which I did late in the afternoon. I called her and politely thanked her for her estimates and interest, and that my husband and I had decided to hire a different company. She became enraged and began screaming at me for not hiring her. She screamed that she had spent a lot of time on me, and she demanded that I return to her the design center fabrics, and that I should not expect her to pay for freight to return those fabrics to her. When I asked her to send a pre-paid label, she became more enraged and replied that she would drive to my house the next day to pick up the fabrics from my front porch. I certainly wasnt going to pay to return her fabrics which I didnt ask for and she knew it. Needless to say...I dont recommend this unstable woman, lacking in manners and class, and her questionable company. I’m very relieved that I didn’t hire her, and she doesnt deserve anyones business. Another bad apple in the window treatment industry. Fellow consumers, lets stick together and promote only honorable businesses!

Love my window treatments. I have a hard time looking at windows and seeing how they can be made better. I was so lucky to have found Marie. Arentine Designs draperies are a work of art. Beautiful every time. I have used them multiple times and they work with my amazing designer and always make my windows look perfect. I also have beautiful custom bedding and my baby girl nursery is gorgeous.

I would rate Arentine Designs as a C-!In the beginning, we did all the right things (design meetings, aligning what was achievable to deliver the desired look I was looking for). As the customer who relied on Arentine and my designer to listen to my desires and help guide me to an outcome they could deliver against, I was left disappointed. I was very clear about what I wanted and showed Arentine Designs pictures. All agreed that there would be no problems. Upon delivery, the drapes looked very nice but after about a few days the pleated panels started to fall out and the uniformity went away. Upon inspection, I notice that the panels pleats were not uniform. I informed my designer of this and she went back to Marie (Arentine Design owner). Having been to my house for design meetings to sell the job, Marie no longer wanted to talk to me but would relay that it was the fabric I chose that was not cooperating and it was the designers issue. I was clear when picking out the fabric with Marie present and providing her expert opinion if the fabric would work. All were in agreement that I chose a fabric that would work. Marie was not interested in trying to work with me to resolve her work issues. It was not until I contacted my bank and levied a chargeback against Arentine Designs that I FULLY got Maries attention. She finally showed up to see the issue. Imagine that, she would not even come to see what I had issues with until her money got funny. At any rate, the pins and beads solution she came up with never worked and looked quite tacky for the amount of money I spent. Scratch that, it looked tacky period!
