On my visit, the only concern was in the bakery. The individual BAGELS @ one time had been individually wrapped. Now they are in the open air. I understand that you will NO LONGER get the individual bags for this product. With COVID and other sanitary issues that people have, I would think you would be more concerned with your customers than the fact of not obtaining bags for the item. Your competitor has this same process, and I dont purchase from them. So I guess I will have to add you to the list of not being able to have a bagel. Suggestion - if it will matter, start packing 2 to a bag. You really need to rethink this. I dont have a photo because the young lady that helped me was able to put my bagels in bags. Also, it was very early in the morning and they had just been put out and didnt have time for people to breathe all over them. Thank you for taking my concern 😟

They always have such great produce. Oh, i cant forget to mention the sushi too. For it being sushi from a market/grocery store... Two thumbs up from me!

This was the second store of the day I visited to have the same outcome. There was no meat cutter on staff at the time; they were on break. However there were three people in the department and I was told I had to wait about 15 minutes for the meat cutter to get back in order to get a special cut done. Tom Thumb needs to train people to cut meat if theyre going to be with the meat department. I used to work for the company so I do understand that its hard to train people however training does come especially for something simple like cutting me a roast thats on sale.

Great neighborhood grocery store without all the fuss and frills. The store is always clean and the workers are attentive. I enjoy purchasing produce from these location as it is almost always good quality.

Great store. Employees are awesome. I do think that they should do something about the unpleasant strong fishy amine smell that hits you in the face when you walk into the store Vinegar and baking soda would neutralize that smell over bleach. Overall I really like shopping here

Always spotless, but doesnt always have the products were looking for. Not too big a deal though, theres another Tom Thumb just down the road. The Pharmacy customer service is WONDERFUL.

There is rarely more then one check lane open and worse, rarely coverage at self checkout. Your forced to use self checkout snd then go find someone for an override of God forbid you remove something or add something to the bagging area.Gone or the days of a fast and friendly checkout. It’s all delegated to the shopper now at Tom Thumb.

Great place to buy everything from - food & grocery to paper to dishes to art & craft to greetings to gift cards. Staff is very helpful and polite. Just raise a hand at self billing, and theyll rush to help you.

This is definitely one of the nicer Tom Thumbs. All the employees are polite, and they have a good selection.

Great location, friendly staff! Plus, the selection, reward prices, store cleanliness are all very impressive. Its my favorite grocery store in the neighborhood. My only wish, is that they had later hours again.. Given that I get off work near the time they close, Im either rushed or forced to shop elsewhere...At least one late night location in a city this big would be helpful.

Good quality stuff a little pricey for me

The store is clean but the Fruit/Vegetables have been a HUGE disappointment lately. Everytime I have bought something from this department I have to return it or throw it away. Thats if I can find anything decent to purchase.The rest of the store is nice and clean.

The staff, stocking of goods, fresh produce, deli, and flowers at this location is TOP NOTCH! Even though Tom Thumbs prices are a little higher than that of Kroger and Target, Id still shop at this particular location because of its stellar staff and general upkeep.

The prices are a little bit higher than some other stores but we can find good deals everyday for some stuffs here as well. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

I always enjoy their meat market and their self checkout lines usually make this store a quick in and out on my way home from work.

Pay close attention, they just completed their remodeling and restocking of items, ask, when us your grand reopening? Great time to get great values, I plan to take advantage of that date and save, save, save! Their rotisserie chicken is the best of all other stores, bountiful produce, caring staff, and eagerness to help you and satisfy your needs, oh and their pork tenderloin is primo! Hurry up Grand Opening so I can stock up .

The store is receiving a lot of updates currently. The interior flooring was just replaced, and now the exterior facade is being renovated. It looks nice and I am happy with the fresh look. However, on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = bad; 3 = average; 5 excellent), Id rate the management as a 1. There is always a shortage of staff checking out customers and bagging groceries. Since 2012, I estimate personally bagging 50% of the time that I go there. Recently, its closer to 70% of the time. The one place that customers will most certainly require assistance is checking out.

Used the order ahead on the app function. Had everything I needed never happened before.

Always nice and clean in there and its nice to have a rewards card because it gives you access to some good deals. Some things are way more expensive here than at other grocery stores so thats a downside. But if youre a smart shopper and use the rewards, its a nice clean, safe place to shop.

This store pays lip service to following Covid protocols but in reality the checkout clerks feel free to wear their masks under their chins. Management must be able see this. They are standing right there! I won’t be going back.

Went in to get a COVID Vaccine. They were very organized, friendly and fast.

I dont know who is responsible for understaffing this store every weekend evening, but shame on them! The workers there are slinging as fast as they can and the people at that service desk move like they dont realize people are backed up 6 deep in the lanes and the service desk back into those lanes. The apathy of its not my job from the service desk is overwhelming.

Why because never tom thumb fettuccine cheese for like 3 months

I refuse to shop here again. I live close by and on many occasions I have stopped in to buy that one ingredient that I need to make dinner. The last straw was when I stopped in for white onions and they had NONE. How can they even call themselves a grocery store? Zucchini and fresh basil are the other items where I have repeatedly stopped in and they had NONE (but 20 boxes of sage!). The trip always results in me having to make a stop at another, better grocery store. I hate this place. It never fails that they dont have what I need.

The store has a big sign by the front door that says “PER GOVERNORS ORDERS MASKS REQUIRED INSIDE” yet they refuse to enforce this and let people walk around inside with no masks on. I’ve alerted two different employees now that customers were not wearing masks who have told me they will not enforce it. Definitely will be going to Wholefoods from now on where they care about their customer’s safety.

The employees don’t wear masks. When I mentioned this to one of them, he invoked Donald Trump and simply told me to stay away from the employees who weren’t wearing masks. The manager was nowhere to be found and, apparently, does not enforce the mask policy, because this is the second time I have run into this same situation. I am finished with Tom Thumb, forever.

Excellent choice of products - however theres this particular lady that does her night shift and is specifically rude to a certain section of people. I have seen her changing behavior with different stocks - her mood dictates her behavior and when its down, she is very rude to her customers - No grace and persona -just downright petty!!!!

Tom Thumb has always been my favorite grocery store. Today not somuch. Let me explain, I was almost ran over by a cart being pushed by(John W) at this age my response time is a little slow. What bother mewas he didn’t even apologize for almost running me over! When Imention his behavior his response I was very harsh.

On Tuesday 6/23/2020 I worked later than scheduled. I rushed to the floral section to get a 6 balloon for my daughter and did not notice that section was closed. Guadalupe saved the day by being understanding and ready to help even though she was already leaving. I really appreciate the help and level of service Guadalupe provided.

If they advertise a special, you can count on it being a scheme or a scam. Scheme like buy one at 3x the price and get two free or managers special on a product we do not stock. Today I got option #2...sorry we dont even stock 6oz nuts, but here is 8oz for double the cost of our ad... Come on, thats schisty.I ordered online and indicated no substitutions. They notified me my order was ready. I went to pick it up and they substituted. They played it off like I was getting a better deal, except that is was pecan pieces instead of pecan halves. They could have saved me trouble of just canceling the online order. Instead, I had to go into the store, return the product, and trust them to void the purchase.I always feel like I am scammed or ripped off at this store. Better to go to Aldi for good deals (no games) or Central Market for higher end products. Cant wait for HEB to come to DFW.

Well the 2 people in question are lynette, & daniel if that were there real names, cyster & renner store.Late yesterday 1030pm .there was stiff on clearance but they would not honor price.i was there earlier and got se products at the reduced rate .but theses guys were like i was there to rob & steal . i know we r in a pandemic but the lady was shouting at us from afar.the kud was like a deer in head lights ..if they dont wanna work i know people who need jobs .customer service they have none. Just there 4 a paycheck ..How rude ..

Tom Thumb has implemented several measures to control customer flow during the covid 19 pandemic. I feel more at ease when making trips here for groceries. The pharmacy staff have been excellent and willing to answer questions and provide suggestions for my family.

I like this store due to convenience but several times I have had to return items that were past their expiration. Its very frustrating to get home and the item you bought is not consumable. I hope they can track their inventory better and remove expired items.

I believe my cashier/bagger was mad at someone. So, so rude throwing my things in a bag and if course they fell out. He had to take his anger out on bagging and was very disrespectful to my items. Nest with dog biscuits. Box of one of my items with raw meat. Unfortunately for me and unacceptable. 😡👇

Great store. Best fresh fruits and vegetables in town. Nice selection of items. They are quite a bit more expensive than Walmart though so I dont do my full weekly shopping here, but rather go in for the produce and specials. Hard to pass up buy 2 get 3 free 12 packs and buy 1 get 2 free on chicken quarters.

I like the fact that the pharmacy is open until 9 pm on weekdays.

They do not enforce the mask mandate here, and there are customers walking around with no masks. It is the most unsafe I have felt in a business this entire pandemic (and the only time I have seen this level of disregard for public health anywhere) and is completely unacceptable. Its a shame, as this is the closest grocery store to me, but I will not be returning if this issue does not get the care and attention it needs.

This supermarket is not one of the biggest although you can find many things. It is always well organized and the treatment of customers is very good. It also has a branch of a bank inside. My personal experience in this supermarket has been very good.

Tom Thumb needs to post someone at the door to prevent people who do not wear masks from coming in. They also need to empower they employees to stand up to patrons who insist on not wearing masks and either asking them to leave or put on a mask and put it on properly

Right before the Super Bowl, and only two checkers. It took me longer to check out than it took me to collect all the items I purchased. Poor management handling.
