Would be 5 Stars if they actually had a Cashier! I really dont want to check myself out.. And whats with the lack of Fritos? Is the Frito Bandito keeping them for himself?

Card reader was broken at the check out. Notified clerk and she continuously ran my card in the “broken” reader. I stopped her before she locked my credit card and asked if she could ring my items up since the reader was broken. She told me no and made me re-ring all my items at another register. No help at all. Oh my card worked flawlessly at the other register. To top it all off she left the broken register open so the next customers can go through trouble I endured.Got to love self check outs… Less employees and bigger CEO bonuses !

Its small but Nice!! Quiet and not bumping into carts from other customers. 😁

I absolutely love this neighborhood Walmart. I appreciated how they were and continue to be very covid cautious. Its so clean and nice and employees have worked very, very hard keeping checkout areas clean. The employees are friendly and helpful, too. There is a lady that assists with checkout (with a long beautiful braid) and I wish I knew her name, but she is there almost every day and always in a pleasant mood. Then there is Robert, (nick-named Dog), who is there often and extremely helpful and kind. I am thankful for this neighborhood Walmart! Bakery, deli, meats, and everything else always stocked nicely and food is fresh. Thank you, employees here!

Great little store with a full pharmacy. Staff seem friendly and it is always less crowded than regular Walmart. In and out usually.

Great shopping online grocery ordering & pick up service. DOMINIC was my Customer Service Store Car Deliverer. Very Polite, Courteous and Efficient; Excellent service!! Also, I visited the Drive-thru Pharmacy to pick up meds, which also gave me Excellent Service!! Highly Recommend Both Service. VERY Convenient!!

I like the convenience of the Walmart Neighborhood Market. I can usually find most of the items I am shopping for. Some stuff havent been on the shelves like Great Value canned potatoes. The aisles are sometimes a little crowded with shelves being stocked and at times it seems the person stocking the shelves seen unorganized. Over all its a nice place to shop.

A nice store, just not as much variety. And strictly self check out. Not a huge fan. Im not register trained.

This store has some bad management. They are not helpful. One of the managers was out front on the sidewalk using a power washer to clean off some racks. She was getting the customers cars wet. She even told one customer that they might not want to park there. The customer had to walk around and off of the sidewalk to avoid getting sprayed. This manager could have chose many other places away from cars and customers but chose right up front. The store just has some poor management which will eventually lead to an overall bad store if they dont bring in better leadership.

We had to go to this small Walmart after eating at OHares. They have almost everything. Problem is that you have to do self check out, unless you ask for help. I guess that most prices are better than Albertsons? Large pulp free side handle OJ Simply Orange is $2 cheaper at Walmart. I was shocked that 2 good Angus steaks were $20. Maybe thats the going rate? Friendly employees.

Main reason for one star, I was being followed the whole time, went in with me and my daughter. After picking up a few frozen pizzas and a few other things I noticed we were being followed the whole time, like?? Also the tall brunette elderly csm can turn her passive aggressiveness down a notch. Be more friendly, I contribute to your paycheck by shopping there, I’m still going back cuz the selection is really good. But so much for a friendliness.

I like this Walmart, its smaller than the Supercenters. Less crowded and easier to get in and out quickly. I definitely prefer this sized Walmart. So far, customer service is very good.

Pick up order was terrible! Feta cheese container was broken and hair conditioner was all over the bag leaking. This is my second attempt at a pick-up order...the last one had a bottle of vinegar leaking all over my trunk. Never again! Also terrible customer service by the very young teenagers that loaded my car.

The best Walmart grocery store in Rio Rancho. Every employee is so kind and helpful. The greeters are so wonderful. They greet you with enthusiasm, when coming into the store as well as when leaving the store. Their service spirit is rarely seen elsewhere. Overall, this particular Walmart is the best. No question about it. The store is always, always improving in every way possible. I will never shop anywhere else !!

For picking up Rx via drive-thru its great. Ive had to wait only a couple of times behind two cars at most in the years Ive used the pharmacy. The staff is always nice for being as busy as they are (thats special).

Clean nice dont like the self service checkouts though

They dont have these neighborhood stores in the DMV so its always interesting to go into them. I m always amazed at the selections available as well as the friendliness of the employees.

The store was not too crowded. Found my items quickly & proceeded to check-out. All registers are self check-out, but there was no waiting. The registers were being cleaned between each customer. 👍

Good location, well stocked shelves, but I absolutely disagree with their move to not have cashiers anymore. The way they have it set up now is cluttered confusing and if you do need help with your groceries, like if you are disabled or a heart patient like me, they will help you. They literally sent a man that looked like he was a homeless man off the street. No disrespected them. The most scraggly person I’ve seen in a long time. And he was moving slower than me. Pathetic worthless check out system. Very disappointing.

The pharmacy has always been an issue for me. If it’s not that my prescription has issues or they don’t have the medication to fill it’s always something! This time they refused to even pull my prescription, which was sent from my Drs office, from their computer system because it was going to be “Lunch Time”! Script was sent at 1:00pm a whole half hour before their “Lunch Time”!!! On top of all that the female pharmacist emphatically said, “it won’t be worked on until after their Lunch Time”!What if this medication was needed to save a life? No, we”ll have to wait until after Lunch!I will never come back here again!

It would be nice to have more than 2 checkers. For the past 6 months this location is forcing self checkout on customers. Many of the elderly cant use the self checkout.Today at 2:30pm there were 20 people waiting in line for 2 checkers. Its this way all the time

So easy to get in and out of. Just dont care for the self checkout. If I have to bag my own groceries I should be receiving a 30% discount at the checkout line. I believe that the self checkout machines should NW taken out. We need more people working not machines taking our job.

I enjoy doing my quick shopping here, it’s clean, self checkout, helpful friendly employees, and even the bathrooms are clean. That’s right you read plural... I go into men’s bathroom from time to time, unintentionally 😳

Update: the store just went through an update (seems completed) and while it does look better (more open produce through deli departments), they seem to have removed several of our favorite products (Ranch chicken crock pot meal for one). They’ve reset a lot of things. We’re fine with change, just don’t drop products! They’re losing us as customers.Update: store is now just open from 7-11 every day. They had the entrance door locked when we visited at 10pm. Had to enter through the exit door. Had signs up limiting self checkout to 15 items. WE DO NOT LIKE these changes! No longer our main grocery store.Old: Fast, easy to shop. Open 24 hours and has everything I need. Im actually getting pretty good at self checkout! Great employees that actually recognize us now. Our go-to store.

I love Neighborhood Market! its low prices, friendly staff and small grocery store feel. I use their curbside pick up during this time but prefer going in when I can.

There are food courts with a wide variety of cuisine.

Recently this location has undergone a transformation. Its customer service center has been revamped, it has gone to all self-checkout registers, and a bit of tweekin of location of some grocery items. Overall the staff has remained friendly, informative and helpful. Glad too see the changes.

The store is clean and well maintained. The employees are very pleasant and helpful.

Every one is courteous and helpful and working as a Team...Good Job! Managers are managing well.

No one like self check out only. Will find other places to shop.

All computer lines no customer lines as in I check out with a machine not cool I do not like that Id rather check out with a hunman

All self checkout now! So very fast in and out.

So I know that my bad experience at this or any Walmart really wont matter much because it is Walmart and this giant can pretty much do anything, good or bad and people will continue to go there because it is a big box store who really does not care about any one other than Walmart. My daughter, my wife and I actually shopped this store about 3 times a week and spend no less than $150 every trip. Yesterday we went by to do our shopping and both my daughter and I have a medical condition that does not allow us to wear a mask and have never been questioned before, so that is one of the reasons we go there. Anyway, yesterday we went about to check out and a manager approached us and, didnt ask, more like demanded us to put on masks. I proceeded to let her know that we were not able to wear them and then she asked to see something from my doctor but me being an AMERICAN citizen and knowing my rights and a little bit about law, politely told her that there was a law to protect patient to doctor privilege of that information. So she proceeded to tell me that she was the manager and she made the laws in her store. She was being loud and calling attention to us. We were extremely humiliated and embarrassed. She then said that as the manager, she was going to I force her right to refuse service to us and asked us to leave. I guess her ignorance was very apparent and had no sympathy for our condition. My wife left crying and my daughter didnt understand why she acted like that with her being a manager and should have been trained to talk to people like actual human beings. I did feel violated but also sorry for her (the manager). Like I said, I am sure nothing will come of this but I just needed to let it out.

Check your receipt for any charge that states site merch. I was randomly charged $152 for something that I didnt purchase. Easily fixed once I noticed it, but still...

There were no outdoor lines. Store was stocked well, even items that I couldnt find at other stores. The only issue was the lack of checkout, and the lines waiting to checkout. The lines were 6 and 7 deep.

Easy place shopping. Great service

Prices have gone up and there was only self-service cashing stations now. No cashiers. Also had to wait to try to buy some nail polish but no one ever came. I wont be going back.

I am soo Glad this Store is Open in this Niegborhood. They have fresh foods and they really serve the community well .

I went to pick up a grocery order. The attendants were very kind and apologetic for a problem they had in the system, but they still got my order out on record time! It is nice because it’s a smaller place than the Walmart near me, so I think they can handle orders more quickly.

The produce guy was very nice and very helpful tonight. I wish I would’ve got his name. He went out of his way to get me avocados from the back. He saw I was picking through their selection. He helped me and another customer which I greatly appreciated. People these days don’t usually go out of their way to help. Older woman with long white hair in a braid was very friendly as well. Great customer service!

The pharmacist, Nicole, was wonderful. I could see her smile and caring through the mask she wore! Thank you, Nicole.

Every week Im here cashing my check, buying groceries and necessities for my home. to be a paying customer and be discriminated against the way I have the last few days is very upsetting. the csm had the whole store following me watching me pay Im a construction worker and came in my work clothes theres no reason for you to treat your customers this way I will be contacting the home office to report this issue.

Not very busy however with only 1 cashier and the self checkouts, Ive been in line almost twice as long as it took me to shop for 10 or 12 items I needed. This was waiting for self checkout, not the kind cashier. Back to Albertson!

Ive always liked the walmart neighborhood market for the convenience picking up a few items and not dealing with the larger crowds at the walmart supercenters.

I come here because its quick and easy and less stressful than going to the Supercenter. Thanks guys!

Getting the covd-19 vaccine shot was a breeze. But the people that shop there dont read signs, dont listen and need some type of learning skills.

Self checkout is awful. They refuse to help handicapped people. Ill go for one or two things but will never ever buy groceries here. Their shelves are always empty.

If you are black and decide to checkout at self check out, be wary of a white old lady With red hair and bangs. She likes to racial profile and will watch you until you feel extremely uncomfortable.

This particular Walmart grocery store in Rio Rancho is one that I go to most of the time. Even though its out of my way, I enjoy shopping there. The produce is always fresh and so is the bread. Their meat Dept is always top notch. A great many of their products are reasonably priced. Their staff is always willing to help you find anything within the store. Their pharmacy is quick at filling your prescription and helping to find items in their Dept. Ample parking area and always kept clean. They have a Red Box kiosk just outside where I rent movies and saves me a lot of time from running around. They also have soda machines just outside also, where you can still get a soda for 50 cents. Great place to shop if you need something in a jiff.

Here right now to pick up groceries that were pre ordered and when I called in regards to picking up food I was told its not worth wait that there is only 1 employee for grocery pick up and that i would be waiting a long time, why am I waiting for order put in this morning? Only 1 employee all day? If so even than you have had 7 hours to get order together . Worst service ever here

I love going to this Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. I especially appreciate going to a much smaller Wal-Mart during this pandemic - less people, and a short or non-existent line means getting in more quickly. I have always thought that the produce and meat in this store is more fresh than the Wal-Mart Superstore. The store also seems to have everything I need in all departments...just a few sections of shelving have limited products, but there is always a choice of toilet and facial tissue, cleaning supplies, and other paper products. Staff are attentive. I think this store must be very well-managed!

The service is unbelievable. All employees are helpful & attentive from customer service to check out. The employees pull together to give you the customer--- a reason to go back & shop some more. Thumbs up. They currently have a nice selection of plants vegetables & flowers at good prices. The plants are a healthy good size. I was pleasantly surprised.

Its a small Wal-Mart. Theres just groceries, the same stuff as the Super Center with a little less selection. Theyre not really set up for COVID-19 at checkout. Self-check is too crowded for distancing and useless for handicapped. Cashier registers are frequently not open since they are being used for pick up orders. You have to go to customer service for cigarettes.

Friendly, fast and clean! What more could one ask for!
