What an amazing visit with Hubert, Damian and Leroy at Big Lots, Rio Rancho! At the end February we called Big Lots to initiate a warranty claim on some furniture that we had bought there the previous year. I spoke with Hubert who confirmed that the furniture was still under warranty and we could exchange it with a new piece when it was in stock. What a relief 😅!After a couple of days passed I called BL and again spoke with Hubert and he confirmed nothing had come into stock. My wife and I decided that we wanted to see if we could upgrade to a different piece of furniture and not get another piece by the same manufacture (second time a piece was defective from them). So, the next day I called Hubert who was just getting ready to call me and tell me that an identical piece had arrived to replace ours. I told Hubert about wanting to upgrade and he assured me it would be no problem.On March 4th we loaded up our defective sectional and drove to Big Lots. It was mid afternoon and we met Damian and Hubert in the furniture area. Both men were happy, helpful, conversational and knowledgeable about the inventory and pieces of furniture available. We discussed our options and chose to purchase a larger grey sectional and ottoman. Before long there was a rush of customers coming into the furniture area. Hubert had been helping several people and Damian asked if he could have a moment to help additional customers that were waiting. We obliged and sat back and waited.Hubert and Damian were amazing! They helped every customer meet a need. They did it with smiling (hard to tell with a mask but watch the eyes; you can tell), greeting each customer and closing at least 6-7 transactions. They pulled and loaded furniture into cars or trucks all in the span of about 35-40 minutes. What I did not notice is that during all of this action they had pulled out our new sectional and had it waiting.When they came back to us their moods had not changed they were great. They helped me unload the old sectional and reload the new one onto my truck. Closed out our transaction and thanked us for letting them help other customers. What a great experience!Well, as fate would have it the bolts for ottoman one two sides were to deeply sunk to screw in the legs. I called the store several days later and spoke with Hubert. He expressed his dismay with the issue and asked that we bring it in and exchange for a replacement in stock. When I arrived I met Leroy who had the piece waiting for me.He helped my bring in the damaged item and inspect the new one. Leroy went one step further and began to cut back the plastic liner. He wanted to put the legs on to ensure everything would work. Within a few minutes the legs were on and the furniture was in the van. Great job!!Big Lots, you have an amazing set of workers in the furniture department! Hubert, Damian and Leroy absolutely guaranteed a positive experience for us and every customer that came in!Our visit with these gentlemen has assured our future visits and purchases at the Big Lots, Rio Rancho.Thank you Hubert, Damion and Leroy!

I enjoyed my experience. The only problem I had was finding prices on many items. I will go back to do more shopping there and will let family and friends know about big lots. 😁

I admit it, I enjoy browsing at Big Lots. Especially since they seem to have recently reset all the merchandise so things are in different locations. I have found decent bargains but am not deluded into thinking everything is the cheapest. I rarely look at furniture so cant comment on that. Generally, easy to find parking and moving around store is easy as is checking out.

It was clean, it was big, the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The 4 star because there wasnt much merchandise. Maybe like the truck with stock hasnt came yet for the week.

Empty store. Cashier appeared to be drunk or stoned. She had bloodshot eyes, red in the face and extremely unpleasant. I had to remind her three times that she needed to give me my receipt. Not sure if this location offers sobriety checks.

Clean, well organized store. Thia location had a nice selection of patio furniture. I always find a few unique snacks to try. They have very reasonably priced everyday spices, and plastic storage totes.

The Coors location was not helpful at all !! I had check the app. to see which one had this chair. It help & save me time I went asked sure enough that gentlemen brought it out. I toke it too my car. Thank you to the Rio Rancho location . Much appreciated👍

The clerks and the staff are very helpful and polite, and they always have a great stock of inventory to choose from. One of the best Big Lots in the state!

Discount retailer with a lot of one time products. The furniture section is actually nice.

Usual Big lots fare. A bit low on stock. Not so happy about cashier with mask below her nose and not willing to pull it up when I mentioned it must have slipped.

I have been shopping Big Lots back in the 70’s when it was Pic n Save. Will always shop there.

Good COVID precautions. Self-help wipes at the front so you can wipe your cart & take a couple inside too. Holiday selection is wiped out! No ornaments, 1-2 yard decorations. Not worth the trip if you are looking for Christmas items. I found lots of stocking stuffers though, relatively clean and cashier was really helpful.

On this trip things were arranged in weird places. Noting felt like it flowed. Prices were nothing special. Can run accross the street and find Seafoam $3 less. I went for carpet cleaning solution. It was a nope for me seeing such a mark up and the store isles so tall and close together. Stock was ok. Customer service helpful. Store couldnt find regular size bags so i left with a gallon size bag and all i had was a cup!

They have done a whole re-do of the store. Looks a while lot better and cleaner.

Awesome place and great prices

Used to be able to find stuff here at less than half price from the big box stores. Not anymore. Though the people were nice. The store was very much in disarray however. Few things actually in their right place with prices. Not going back.

There is a lot of cool novelty household stuff here. There are a few deals worth your time dependant on what you want. It doesnt have absolutely everything you need but enough to keep you interested. I wish the club deals were worth it because I just dont see myself coming here enough to make five dollars off every third visit worth it.

I love Big Lots and am a long time customer. I always find quality products at value prices. Stock is consistent and I can find my favorite brands. I especially appreciate the high quality of the pet items at VERY affordable prices. My digs are even better customers than I am!

Big lots was great! We went for the kids rewards for good grades, picked out a huge stuffed dragon & a rc robot car, best $55 Ive ever spent! The kids are happy!!!

I believe that quite a few people, know about Big Lots great deals from time to time. On this particular visit, I was finishing up my Christmas shopping. My main reason for going there this time was to buy the Wife a weighted blanket. Hopefully shell feel better after she uses it for awhile, but actually it was on sale because they retail for about 50 bucks. The one I bought was about 12lbs. on sale for 39.99 from 50. I like the material and the quality of it and its a good one. I saw one at Walmart but it looked sort of cheap to say the least. This Big Lots store is located in Rio Rancho, Im not quite sure about the plaza its in only because I have never payed much attention. The store itself cant be seen from the main thoroughfare which is Pam Darko Blvd so one would truly have to pay attention. Im pretty sure however that a lot of people, know where it is, they sell a vast array of products as do all Big Lots stores. Everything from furniture, housewares,a mini supermarket. What I love about this particular Big Lots store is that its clean and very well kept up with,I say this because, Ive been to other Big Lots stores and everything seemed to be in shambles. This one is as I said clean and its easy to find what youre looking for and the staff is top notch always willing to help you out and above all very courteous. They have very ample parking and parking for those of us that are disabled. Im not sure if they have public restrooms so if youre shaken a leg its best to go to Burger King down the street,hey! Im just kidding 😁 All in all,I give this store a big Thumbs up 👍 Im sure youll love shopping there too !!

Usually a good store, however I needed tums a few days ago and I ended buying an expired bottled that was best until September of 2018. I normally wouldn’t care if it was a few days but a few months is a little ridiculous. I at least hope they check dates on other things

This is the Best Big Lots Ive found. Store is always well stocked, organized and clean. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Toni is great! Everyone is knowledgeable and cares about Customers. Returns are easy. High quality and great prices too. This is my Go To Big Lots.

I dont know whats going on with this place, but its far from being a discount store. The prices are cheaper at Walmart and the grocery stores, no wonder the store is always empty with customers. I have been a good patron for over 15 years and always found what I was looking for, they lost my business, Im thinking that maybe someone came in and bought them.

I have been shopping at big lots for a long time, and this store is my go too for quality furniture at a fraction of the big box price. Leroy the furniture lead has wonderful customer service and has been the one to help me with all of my furniture purchases. This store is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality goods at excellent prices!

The store was clean and well stocked. Looks like theyre ready for the holidays. The only thing for me is they need to front face, zone and stock there toiletries,bath and med sections.
