Great grocery store! They may not have all of the brands that you might want, but their brands are very y good. I didnt think I would try to do most of my shopping here, but after shopping here for a while I find I can find most things I need. Very good produce most of the time, but sometimes the berries go bad quickly.Most of the staff is great. Always welcoming and ready to answer questions. I think the checkout could be reorganized for these COVID days. Its a little weird that people still dont realize there is a line that forms in the middle of the store, of course that could also be people acting like they dont know.All in all a pleasant place to shop.

Fantastic place to go for your everyday essentials! I love the diversity of their selections and I have to mention their extremely fresh bread! Must have! 5 stars all day!

There is plenty of parking in front and the store is nice and clean. I got the products I wanted including some organic items and soy milk. At checkout it took longer than expected since one item had to be checked since the sign was one price and the register with another but it got fixed. The people were friendly and got what I wanted.

This store is great when youre looking to score deals on great food and vitamins. They always have something going on I ckuding in store demos and special double ad days on Wednesday! I can find products here that I cant find at Whole Foods or Marianos. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere shopping!

Smallish store with a good selection of items. Their produce is excellent with great prices. Great meats with a number of unusual item such as bison, elk, etc. Also they have lots of organic, gluten free, and vegan items.

This neighborhood store is clean with a friendly helpful make staff. They carry fresh groceries along with a wide selection of holistic products. As expected, for some items the prices reflect the high quality.

I’ve never once had a bad experience here. The staff is amazing week, after week. I’m always greeted as I walk through the store and asked if I need assistance with anything. It’s the perfect sized grocery for me, not too overwhelming but they carry everything I need.

Don’t come to this grocery store. Nobody greets you. To top the experience off, Sandra the cashier, has a nasty attitude. She was upset because I bagged a pack of bacon and proceeded to toss the bacon behind my other items. I had also bagged two different kinds of apples in the same bag, to avoid unnecessary extra PLASTIC bags. The apples were the SAME price, which she charged me more for. She then proceeded and had the audacity to tell me, “next time use separate bags”. She handed me my receipt and looked away, waiting for me to grab it. Well there won’t be a next time. Don’t waste your time here. They don’t care about customer service.Terrible terrible experience. Whole Foods isn’t too far. Go there.

They have a wide variety of products. Good bakery and wine selection. Weird checkout today. Everyone in one looooooong line, being called to available registers (instead of everyone choosing a line to get in). Causes congestion in the store. Weird.

Fresh Thyme is a great place to shop. They have a large gluten free variety, and easy labeling of different food allergies, that makes shopping that much more convenient for me. They have a large selection of kombucha drinks. These are just some items I need on the regular and they have a nice variety so I dont get bored in options.

The store was clean and organized. The prices were comparable to other markets. There were only a few shoppers, making my shopping enjoyable. I will return.

Produce is always fresh, fabulous selection of bread, who doesnt love board Boars Head cheese. And normally, when were not in the middle of a pandemic their bulk selection is awesome. Great for vegetarians and vegans if you choose to buy fake Meats.

Great prices on chicken and ground beef! I also love the deli bacon. Prices on some fruits and veggies are ok, but some are expensive. Customer service can be a hit or miss. Otherwise, I like this Fresh Thyme location.

I really like this store. I would put it a step or two above Trader Joes as they have a pretty wide variety of healthy food options at very reasonable prices. They might have the best gluten-free selection Ive seen yet, which makes my gluten-intolerant wife love them. She can indulge in things she hasnt had in a while, such as cakes, bagels, pies, and an assortment of other gluten-free desserts. Bulk and container less options, nice sales, decent seafood and meat options. Overall very happy with the store and happy to have it so close.

I used to really enjoy shopping for my groceries here, but had quite a few bad experiences with their milk selection. One time I was unable to find any milk (2%, 1%, or skim) that wasn’t expired. I was shopping for my 2.5 year old son and needed to go down the street to get my milk from another store. Another experience I had was I purchased some milk that was not expired, but when I opened it up, it was already curdled. I had to pour it out. Since Milk is one of the main reasons I go shopping at grocery stores, this will be my last selection, even though it is the closest to my home.

This was my first time going. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My children and I loved the concept of the store. They have a great selection of foods. My children especially loved seeing that you could make your own peanut butter from real peanuts.

When the bacon is on sale this is my go-to place. Also, they have a wonderful selection of fresh coffee beans! Their hand made soap is very good as well 👌.

This is a very friendly conveniently located grocery store in River Forest. This is my sons very favorite grocery store. They have a nice selection of fruit and vegetables. Wide assortment of bread and rolls. Their vitamin selection is extensive. The lines for checkout are nearly always very short. They have their own parking lot which makes for a very convenient shopping trip. Weekly shopping ads which save money. The best day to go to take advantage of ads is Wednesday. Also they have salad bar and several choices of soup.

The salad bar was NOT fresh but the cashiers was nice for a first time visit . I still might go back and the organic olives was very nice I eat the olives and peppers in oil and oil sauce was very tasty..

This has got to be the worst grocery store in the area. Extremely limited selection of overpriced, off-brand goods and hippie snake oils, and their produce is nothing special. I can virtually guarantee you wont find what youre looking for. Also, why is Farmers Market in the name? This is clearly NOT a farmers market, lol.On the bright side, the employees are nice.

I love Fresh Thyme. I go here frequently for their produce and healthy options. The sales are great. I love the bulk bins (wish I could bring my own jars and containers for them to tare instead of using a plastic bag, which all of your bulk items gets stuck in the bottom of and end up getting wasted). Fresh fish, sausage and chicken are great! The beauty section is good, you have to catch the thing you want on sale.Staff is friendly, occasionally you will get a grumpy one.Their app is okay, they usually only have coupons for packaged items, wish they would do more for fresh foods.The entry way on both side streets is terrible for short cars, I always end up scraping the bottom because of the high entry ways to their parking lot.UPDATE: I no longer frequent this store because of the poor produce. It is usually not fresh/moldy.

We are here weekly and appreciate the organic selection. We love the nutritious and healthy foods available. Cashiers are wonderful, the deli meat service and staff needs improvement. Overall one of our favorite grocery stores.

This store was gutted and seems brand new .the layout is very convenient. there is a lot of fresh wholesome food plus some Ready-to-Eat and some frozen food thats very handy .the store is easy to go through. quick to go through .their supplement section is excellent .the fresh juices are fine .the fresh made sandwiches and pizza delight many. Theres a large section of do-it-yourself bins for nuts grain cereals Etc.

Update, stopped coming here much because of the small selection, also they have 6 registers but only one is open ever, 10 people in line and I have 2 items!!!The have a small deli that has Boars Head meats and cheeses, a good salad and olive bar, and produce. Does not carry allot of items compared to most supermarkets.

I appreciate having a grocery store in this once vacant property. Fresh Thyme is limited on their offerings- their focus is fresh and organic. You wont see many conventional grocery items, but more their own brand. The service is nothing to write home about. I find myself waiting in long lines and I almost always have to flag someone down for assistance at the meat and seafood counter.
