I’ve done business through the years with about everyone that sells prescription glasses in and around the valley. I have found Pearle to be the best mix for me in quality, features and value. The staff is attentive, explains things on my terms, and always willing to help...all that and a smile too. I highly recommend the Valley View Pearle.

I entered the store rather late and almost at closing time. However, I was not rushed and I received assistance with not only one pair but two pair of glasses. This is the second time I have purchased new glasses from Pearle Vision and will continue to use them as my choice to purchase new glasses.

If you want to receive great service by very pleasant personnel go to the Pearle Vision store in the Valley View Mall in Roanoke, Virginia. The choices of frames and the prices will be equally good too.

Fast friendly service went in on the Thursday before labor day week and recieved my glasses the following Friday. Renee was exceptionally helpful and informative picking out the frames that suit me best. I highly recommend pearle vision for anyone in the roanoke area that doesnt want to feel like they are just another customer

I had the absolute best experience & pleasure of working with a very kind, very knowledgeable & extremely helpful woman named Katherine that works at the valley veiw location! My husband was playing with our toddler and broke his glasses late Friday evening and we did not know how we were going to be able to get his glasses fixed before he had to go to work on Monday, so I immediately went to Pearle Visions website & I saw that they were open on Saturday’s. I was there right when they opened & Katherine greeted me immediately with the biggest smile! I showed her where the lens had broke off of the top of frame & she said if you could give me just a couple minutes I should be able ask them for you by just replacing the band that goes around the lens connecting them to the top of the frame of the glasses! Thankfully that was all that she needed to do in order to fix my husband‘s glasses & she did it within two minutes & she did not charge me one penny! I just would like to sincerely thank Catherine at the Valley view location in Roanoke Virginia so very very very much again and I want to also thank Pearle vision for having the absolute best hard-working employees that truly care about their clients!

Better selection of work frames, and Ray-Ban

Went here on a Saturday afternoon after my eye test with Dr Wang next door.Everyone here is so sweet & understanding to your needs & they take the time to explain things to you & most importantly they listen to you!I have always loved all the Pearl Visions I have been to!This one is no exception!I didnt pick new frames this time as I had very fairly new ones so they will be putting new prescription lens in & I will be going back to pick up!Cant wait!!!

Pearle Vision proper (the store) is always very good. Quick, responsive and not trying to push something I dont want or need. The STORE would probably get 4 or 5 stars if this was all I was rating, unfortunately I made the mistake of scheduling my appointment through their resident eye doctor; thats what draws down the rating.Dr. Wang himself is nice to work with, efficient and candid with interaction; his office needs a little work.1) Received a call on Friday to confirm my Saturday appointment. The lady reported the time as 10:15, it was actually 11:15. I called for my own confirmation and she verified 11:15.2) I arrived ~11:05 am for my 11:15 am appointment; didnt get dilated until 11:40 am and didnt see Dr. Wang until a little after 12:00. Thats a problem.3) Trial contacts given to me had a structural issue causing unclear vision. I called Monday morning to ask for replacement pair; theyre closed on Mondays so I left message explaining problem & asking for replacement.3a) As they hadnt called back before I got out of work Tuesday, I went to the office to see if they could help; the Lady reported not getting the message. She reported the doctor was seeing someone, but if I would wait, hed speak with me after the appointment.5) While waiting, the lady sat down next to a waiting patient, apologized and told her shed get her in as soon as possible for training with contact lens. An assistant had to remind the lady that the patient hadnt had her exam yet.6) When the doctor came out from the patient I asked for another pair of trials, he said he was with a patient and would get them when he was done. As I sat down he called the patient I referenced in #5. He wasnt with a patient, he just didnt want to go to the closet to get my lens quite yet.5a) Addendum...I later saw patient #5 in the Pearle Vision store; she wasnt even getting contacts. Training for contacts was never needed.So the exam & hardware purchase was pleasant...The experiences in between were pretty problematic.

Great Service. Quiet, windy Sunday when I went to order some contacts. Diane helped me find the right things and get a great deal on an annual supply. The shipment arrived only 2 business days after my order.In my opinion, they have much better service than their competitor, LensCrafters, down the street, I originally went to the competitor because I was suggested by family to LensCrafters, but after speaking with them, I learned they had suspended contact ordering until they found a new optometrist. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to work with Pearle Vision and look forward to doing business with them in the future.
