I worked with Amber from the Rochester Hills location. Also Zenon.Amber really understood my practical concerns and did everything she could to help me despite it was not her decision.Kudos to her and all her staff in actually caring and doing a more than good customer service position !!She deserves a raise and her associates, as finding great customer service is hard to find .
Nice place but be sure to price check!The last two times I have been there, the prices have been 4x the price of Amazon. A year ago I went for a simple binder. The price felt a bit high, so I checked Amazon and found I could get an equivalent set of THREE for cheaper than that single binder. I went today for a simple hdmi to displayport adapter, and they wanted over $50 for it. I bought basically the same one for $12 today instead on Amazon.Now, I do understand costs of overhead and the like, and I was willing to spend like $20-25 on it for the convenience of getting it immediately, but 4x is just too much. I do not plan on returning.Again, it is not against the staff or the like. My sole complaint (albeit huge one) is the price gouging.
This Staples is very well-run. Stopped in today to send a couple packages. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. I always get great customer service at this store!

No one should wonder why this place as a 3.6 rating it deserves it. 1st they cancel the shipment arbitrarily and capriciously and did not inform me the customer. So when I went to look for wheres my stuff it got canceled Y well they said they thought I was out of the country. I think thats an invasion of my privacy but I needed a shredder.So I called them and after a 1/2 hour or 45 minutes on the phone getting disconnected egg promised to be connected to another party where I couldnt call direct and then I got a direct line and it said I couldnt call that direct line from my area so you know there was a little bit a slip between the cup and the lip and a lot of craps filled out and I got SoakedThey made it right I got a $20 gift certificate I dont know what to do with it but Ill figure that out and they knocked about 30 or 40 bucks off the price of the shredder they Ended up selling me.Its a great shredder it really works to Terrifically and I sure wish I bought it from somebody else thought there I was and here I am and this is my reviewThis was a one star review but I changed it to a 3 star because these Folks are average theyre just average theyre not superior theyre not inferior their average.
Store is nice and clean, but could be a little better organized. Staff is friendly and helpful, and stock is reasonably priced. They could have a little more variety with the tech stuff, though. Good place for every day school/work supplies.
We tried to get services and know one was there and Also we got helped but he told us that he had 16 orders but still was on his phone then later on he said that it would take a while and we said no problem we can wait....then he told us that he could not help us with what we needed because he was so busy and the store was empty

One stop shop for all school supplies!! Super deals and was surprised to see they were still pretty stocked on all things needed! Also had all of the supplies I was looking for in one area... I was a happy camper! Got everything on the list for less than $100
Had a Groupon for 25 Christmas Cards. Ones I had chosen and uploaded came out blurry so Jacob called me to check and see if i still wanted them printed or wanted to do a different card. I really appreciated that because most people could care less if the card was blurry or not.
Disappointed. Havent been in the store for awhile. Stock and selection good, better than last time. Bathroom was atrocious. I actually walked out of the bathroom and didnt go. Ive been in restrooms from India, China, including rural, Tibet, etc so I can handle most anything but this was bad. Checking out with my rewards account produced price errors. Said I had exceeded the 5 limit yet this was my only time there in months and I had four of the sale items. After I left I found another pricing error. Im not impressed. When asked if anyone helped me the answer is a definite no. Three employees including one I think was manager walked by as I was trying to get someone s attention. Add this to the two orders of two cases of paper over the last year that I didnt receive the rebates, its time to avoid Staples in general.

This place is a rip off. False advertisement on office chairs! Two chairs were labeled $99 but actually cost over $200! Also both entry level models for $99 and $129 have to be ordered with an unknown time of delivery! Good try to up-sell! Thumbs down!
Copy Harry with extremely busy so Im left what I needed to have copied and laminated to be picked on Friday. Jeff is always courteous and helpful. Just very busy today around 4:30.
An amazing place! love the customer service the employees had! they were very helpful, especially the copy center, team member Sarah was very helpful, she helped me out a lot just over the phone and i got my business done in seconds in my busy schedule!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The staff is not customer focused at all, extremely unhelpful. This was my first experience at this location and I will never come back. I wondered the star for 7 minutes trying to figure out where laptop chargers are located. There were two staff members that walked past me and did not attempt to ask, “can I help you”. After being rudely ignored I yelled out to a sales rep, “where are you laptop chargers located, he responded by saying, “over there”. Instead of guiding me to the direction he turned around to help an older lady. I walked further down the aisle and failed to see where the directive of “over there” meant. I asked another customer associate and received the same response. By this time I’ve realized I had waste 12 minutes in the store and still had not found anything. I located the product myself and arrived back home to find I spent $80 on the wrong product. Superfrusted that I wasted time I can not reclaim back. Returning product tomorrow.
They gave me a pricematch on a hp laptop. It took a while but overall friendly staff and ill be back soon.
I ordered something online for in-store pick up and the order was pending for about two days and I never got a confirmation so I talked to the manager Matt Lemanski and he told me that four of my five items were in stock which were all the same item. He would not honor me at the online price that I had the confirmation number for and he just handled that very poorly as corporate direct when I tried contacting them also was very poor. Whether it was a employee error on price or not you should still accommodate the customer to make the situation better or do something and replace for the customer for their frustration and Matt did not care and neither did corporate. I never shop at Staples nor will I ever because I can get way better customer service and way cheaper prices on eBay and Amazon for my office needs. This place is not worth it.

Terrible customer service 4 of 4 visits. This is my 4th visit and my last at this store. Today, I asked for assistance. The young man told me to wait at my location. 10 minutes later, I go the front and see the same employee talking to another employee at the print station. He asks What was it you needed? Can you describe it again.Will drive past this one to the one near my office.
The copy guy, hes tall gray hair. He hates his life and job. Does not want to help anyone. I even heard him mumble under his breathe when another customer came up please dont come over here please dont come over here he doesnt need to be in retail if hes gonna be that way towards people.
This location is just rude. Guy at the print area acted annoyed that I was bothering him and told me oh well when two copies of the same print visibly had a color shift between the two of them (my black and white print looked pink on one of his papers). Cashier at the front rang me out for printer ink and wouldnt make eye contact and also seemed a little irritated that he had customers. Later I found a cheaper alternative to the ink and decided to return the ink,and the same cashier rang my return...he was slamming and tossing things around dealing with a womans return and continued that throughout dealing with me to the point I asked him if he was okay. He looked outright pissed.Its one thing to just have a bad day but multiple issues throughout the day is just stupid.

This store could not deliver a product b/c their system couldnt handle adding another line to my delivery address at work that is a little more complicated. Unbelievable that such a big company cant handle an address like mine that requires an extra line. This is total amateur hour.

Unhelpful, had to ask for help after waiting 15 mins looking for something I couldnt find when the place had me and one other person inside. Said they had 3 of the iPad covers I wanted online and i get told to order it online because they didnt come in on the truck they were supposed to be on. Will NOT be coming back here again.

I purchased my childrens school supplies here and I got a folder that I thought had a lifetime guarantee. It broke the first month of school. When I went to get it exchanged they said that it was used and wouldnt do anything about it. He said that they stopped the lifetime warranty. I said even after one month of use? He was very rude and said it didnt matter how long it was used for. Will Never shop there again and I have 5 children.

No hello or good bye.In the test isle for BT speakers only half of them work. I asked about it, but was told that half of them are broken.I asked for another item. Instead of getting to go there they just tell you the isle.
Items are overpriced and customer must go on line to get his money back in the form of a rebate. Too time consuming considering that Im giving them a short term loan. If an item is $20 and I pay $20 that should be the end of the transaction. Period!
