The site felt very worn but it was clean, organized, and had selection.

New to the world of textiles and such I found excellent customer service and the materials I needed. Advice was welcomed and not overbearing. Discounts readily available online. Plenty of parking and more than I would expect In a fabric store. A little disappointed that most of the material was made in China. That hurts when you are making stuff in the USA, but forced to use Chinese materials and accessories.

I was in JoAnn’s at Southtown August 15,2021. I’ve been going to that store for 44 years. Their Waverley home dec fabrics all gone. The store certainly looks like it’s on its last legs. I no longer sew but it is my go to store when I’m in need of something like thread or other sewing implements. Store is dirty, unkempt worse than it’s ever been. It’s looks very sad. It either needs to close, have a good clean or an update. It will be sad to see it go if that’s the plan.

Great variety of products from sewing materials, kid crafts and many adult craft supplies.

The fabric selection was not what I have come to expect from Joann. Perhaps they were changing over the material from winter to summer selections. The line was long for checkout since there was only a single cashier because the other cashier was busy with a lengthy complicated checkout. I’ll try again hoping for better selections in the near future.

Great selection of cardstock and paper craft things

I decorated my jars of homemade marmalade for my friends and family. I was thrilled to find all I needed at JoAnne’s. With some guidance from the helpful staff I found ribbon, plaids, string, tags and their abundant “Blooming Holiday” ephemera.

By far the best JoAnn location in the greater Rochester area. Biggest selection, nice large space with wide aisles that are wheelchair friendly. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. There are two or three closer locations, and I will drive the extra miles EVERY TIME.

Yall already know JoAnn is expensive. Its a fabric store with stunning, excellent quality fabric and other stuff. You could go to walmart and wait a decade to get your fabric cut for affordable fabric or JoAnn. There is not much to say. Also, check out fabric wholesale online but yeah JoAnn got coupons. I always go there and spend a couple hundred. But they really carry nice stuff.

This is my go to store for all my home project needs! :) they are always helpful and friendly! Oh, and FYI... they totally honor competitor’s coupons! So any coupons you may have for Michaels or Hobby Lobby, Joann’s will accept those for use at their store which is awesome! If you’re an avid DIYer like I am, download the app so you can have access to all the coupons you need all the time! It helps a lot! :) I redid a dresser with all of my supplies from this store! I normally don’t write reviews unless I’m really happy or upset. But today I picked up a curbside order (third one since corona started and never had a problem before today) the girl stood back by the back window so I could barely see her and THREW my order into my front seat through the window. Like I understand social distancing but you could of GENTLY placed it in the seat or if you didn’t feel comfortable asked me to open the back window (which I would of done). It’s good thing my items were breakable but it’s not like they would know because the bags are stapled shut.

I usually love this store and have fond memories of shopping here with my grandma but my experience tonight was less than stellar. As one fellow retail worker to another(and I wish I got her name) but even if she was having a bad day or had a bad customer before me, it still did not warrant the treatment I was given. I felt completely unwelcome and an inconvenience to her. She never greeted me and I tried by asking how she was tonight with no response back. Spent most of the transaction chirping into her headset at a fellow employee about the lack of help she had putting a cart away and when I flipped through the app to see if my coupon would work she heavy sighed. I was the only one in line and yes I get it as someone who has to smile through all the is there a coupon? questions at my job (not that this woman smiled once)as well but I felt rushed and flustered. And no my coupon didnt work and I didnt pitch a fit or cause drama for her at all because I GET it. Finally ended by her shoving the bag at me and I said have a good night and no response except to bark at my husband and his friend that she was ready for them. I told her they were with me and she completely ignored me and kept shouting NEXT until they joined me by the door. I left feeling very upset as thats usually my happy place and am almost afraid to go back and have that happen to me again and damage what that place means to me. Definitely not someone you want to be the face of that company sadly.

Great selection at good prices. Cutting table help could be more customer focused and communicative. We stood there 5 minute waiting to be helped with no other customers near us and 3 employees behind the counter. When finally helped she explained she was waiting for the larger cutting table. Well just tell us that!

Unrivaled, expansive selection. For some items (like yarn and fabric), they have great prices. For others (like floral wire), they are up to five times more expensive than other places in the area.

I shopped on line to pick up curbside. The transaction was smooth. The confirmation tells you to call the store upon arrival but no one answered so I got in line behind other cars. No biggie. Im sure the person tasked with answering the phone is the same person handing out the orders. Id do it again.

Nothing better than coming in with an idea and leaving out with help with the idea plus sewing tips and a crazy amount of discounts. Sewing can be so therapeutic and creating something is rewarding especially for first time seamstresses. So affordability plays a big part and motivation from those around you plays an even bigger part! Their app and website has great ideas for just about anything you want to make. They even have cultural prints and ideas from DIY projects via YouTube. Sky’s the limit!

I absolutely agree with the comments that complain about the service this company is providing during the Covid19 pandemic. Why are their women 60 above years old who cant even open the door and reply you. You wont be able to ask them questions because they look impatient and old and you wouldnt dare to ask a question about something. It seams like they want to get rid of the customers.

This is by far the largest store I have been in. The selection of fabrics, trim and the like are absolutely amazing. Unlike Greece however, they have a relatively small selection of wedding stuff as well as glass beads. Im disappointed in how small the wedding selection was as Davids Bridal is several storefronts away. This store is nice and clean but totally lacked in what I was searching for.

This store has a good variety. Pretty similar to other joanns. We had a good experience there today. Certain types of crafts this particular store doesnt have a great variety of but they do have some things. They had some awesome deals today especially on stickers. We got a lot of stickers for our wedding scrapbook. We also picked up some diacounted candles. I think they are trying to get rid of a lot of inventory from this whole covid shut down, Thats why there are a lot of discounts .... More than usual.

The store in Henrietta, NY is one of the largest in the area. Its quick to get to from most areas. They have the best selection of fabric, for the area.

Really disappointed with the way this store is handling COVID-19. When I learned Joanns was still open for curbside pickup, I was excited. Joanns.com indicated that careful measures were being taken to protect employees and shoppers, and I trusted that.So imagine my surprise when I arrive at the store front to find the ONLY person responsible for delivering items to customers is a woman in her late 60s!I could go on about how the email and text said to call the store on arrival, only to have the store phone go straight to voicemail, or about how poorly the woman in the car in front of me was treated... But my main concern is the fact that Joanns is putting someone in the highest risk demographic for dying from this virus in a position where they will have the MOST contact with the public.DO BETTER OR CLOSE COMPLETELY.

I love fabrics, Rochester Joann Fabrics in South town plaza Henrietta, has multiple choice/s color and types of fabrics, I was told but am not sure sure that among all Joanns of Monroe County this store has the most selection of types and colors of fabrics. Personally for me, it is not a cheap store to shop, since I do variety of sewing projects it fulfills my need for the projects I undertake. I do get frustrated that the coupons are many, one can use only and only one cut of fabric for the solo coupon in the book, and to top of many times the store has some mini sale on every item, so that solo coupon is not usable. No matter how the sale is, it filters to 30_40 percent sale in the end. It is definitely not a cheap place to shop. if you are a sewer it is worth visit.

Whats not to love about this store? Between the sales and the coupons its always a good deal. The selection is fantastic and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable!

I love the wide variety of craft supplies offered here. Generally a wide variety of items available even during sales. Im not pleased with their lack of signage for sale priced items or the interpretation of coupons and what theyre eligible to be used for. It used to be coupons were able to be used on regular priced merchandise, except for what is outlined in the details of the coupon. I was here 3 days ago, spent over $80, however, I couldnt use the coupon for $15 off $75. I was told it was because I had clearance items, but the coupon didnt specify this exclusion.

Less scrapbooking supplies in store. Wind up online instead.

I absolutely love shopping at JoAnn Fabrics! I can always find something to use for all if my many crafting projects. They have a pretty good coupon policy and give classes here as well.

I was hoping for a bigger selection of fabrics than the Greece store but it felt like they had even fewer options in cotton fabrics. Maybe everything is just picked over with COVID & mask making, but it wasnt really worth the trip.

This store, Henrietta, is huge and has a great inventory! My wife likes the experience here more than the Greece location. We drive from Greece to this store for the improved shopping experience.

This place can get a little hectic around holiday time, but the employees are always knowledgeable and friendly. It seems like their inventory can sometimes be a little unorganized, but there is always someone there to help you find the product or answer youre looking for. They almost always have great sales, too!

A good alternative to Michaels. Its products vary somewhat depending on which craft genre you are looking for. For sewing it is definitely the place to be!
