This place is amazing. My family and I showed up after hours, when the food service was supposed to be over. They accommodated us even though it was late. The manager James was very courteous and friendly. He assured us they would serve us, and they even took it a step further and brought our food out to us at their awesome fire pit seating area. The food was superb, above and beyond my expectations. Throughout the night the manager made sure we were having a good time, cared for, and had all we needed. We had a great time, the place was very comfortable and the service was amazing. I wish I could visit this place more often. Its definitely a must go to place when in the area. I highly recommend this place, and I tend to be very critical of places, not often do I praise a place with 5 stars and good feedback.Thank you for the amazing service James.

This is my favorite place to catch a game on TV. Many screens placed all around the rectangular bar. Massive variety of beers on tap will satisfy any taste. Delicious quesadillas and the best chicken wings in the area make a great snack during the game.Eric the weeknight bartender is the best Ive ever seen. It doesnt matter who you are, what you look like or what you order - the next time you come in, he remembers you and what you want. Not only is he expert on all the beers, but as a former chef hes also knowledgeable on the entire food menu and will help you find something sure to please you.

We came here often before the pandemic and I can’t say enough about how this place has survived and came thru for their customers since then! Just came home from patio dining there on a cool evening and management was so cooperative with our request to turn on outside patio gas fireplace just for us as not many other diners ventured out in the cold! Same great menu and service throughout all that has gone on! Greece MacGregors rocks! Keep up the great work we love you!!❤️

Service was not that great. Waited about 20 minutes before a server showed up. Food was sub par for the price. I got the man vs burger and it was devoid of flavor. Needed a lot of ketchup to give it taste. The onion rings however were good. Thats why I didnt give a one star. The Greece location is by far the worst MacGregors. I would only go there for drinks. Not food anymore.

Mid-afternoon on a Saturday, wasnt that busy and we still had long waits between visits from our server, even to take our drink order. Food was good tho. Not a large liquor selection, couldnt even get a Jameson and ginger (or any Irish whiskey for that matter). Probably be better off just sitting at the bar

I had a nice dinner.The waitress was friendly and the food wasnt expensive.Its not a quiet place. Theres nothing in the room to absorb the sounds except your eardrums.The host was not friendly but thakfully he wasnt waiting on me.

If you like a wide variety of beers to try, you cant go wrong with MacGregors. They do a good job rotating in seasonal brews. Food can be a little pricey, but everything Ive ever had has been good.

Food took 50 minutes to an hour to come out. But its good. Server (Tim) was a bit rude about the length of the food

We had a long wait for two white pizzas with mushrooms. We received them after a 45 minute wait. Both pizzas were burnt which we refused. We then asked for just one white pizza that the manager assured would come right out. Waited another 25 minutes and the next pizza was disgusting with burnt mushrooms.. they charged us for our drink which is ok but the Manager never came over after the second order.and we left. Very disappointed as we have always loved their white pizzas. Don’t order any from them

Came here with my wife and kid. We chose to sit indoors. About 15 minutes into being there, after having ordered, a party of 40 came in. They were having a buffet style dinner.The main issue I had with this is that we were just inches away from this party. There was no effort made to distance us at all. Many of them were milling about and not wearing masks as they were having a buffet type dinner.We asked to be moved, which we were, and then after that three other parties asked to be moved.Beyond greedy! We like to patronize local businesses because of what is going on - we want to be supportive - in return we ask that the rules are followed and we arent put in danger.Two emails to MacGregors went unanswered when I reached out for an explanation.

How do you make a SALTY salad is beyond me? We ordered soup, avocado and bacon salad, wanted to add shrimp on the salad, but they only had breaded, which means FROZEN. My colleagues other the fish and chip and oni..all fried in the same oil. Overall, not a great dining experience. Gave 2 stars because the waitress was very friendly and actually help us get so much needed tea.

Was our favorite spot a few times a week after work until they got rid of Julia, the best bartender there. I guess we will have to find a different placeto go from now on. What a shame. Definitely lost a lot of respect for this place😞

Im sure the food and drinks and even the staff must be great, but unfortunately a NY state medical marijuana ID is not enough Identification for me to enjoy a night with my colleagues at the bar. The I.D literally cannot be given to anyone under the age of 21 and it clearly states on the card how old I am. Would love to re visit and hopefully I dont have bring a drivers license when Im not driving.

Food took over an hour to get to us. Waitress checked on us once in that hour. Burgers were beyond well done when we asked for medium well. Panini was black. No follow up from waitress or anyone about our service. Very disappointed.

Good food quick service a typical Rochester staple... This place has been around since the beginning of time it feels like and they have very good bar/pub good but also a full blown dinner and lunch menu as well as a full wrap around bar..... Cannot complain one bit. Oh yeah the one thing I can say is a call rocks drink is about ten bucks... That is really the only thing Lolo a ++

Amazing beer selection. It is worth going here just for that reason. The beer is always fresh. They must take good care of their taps and hoses. Great bar menu and the food is always prepared well. Attentive staff. Never felt like I was being rushed . Been to MacGregors many times and will be back again.

I came here for lunch with a colleague. The food was good and the staff respected all Covid guidelines.

Horrible service! Many staff walked by the counter with a line growing. Many tables were open and after a lengthy wait we were finally greeted to be told that we could sit but it would be over an hour wait to get food.

The bartender was super friendly and welcoming. The meatloaf sandwich was good and the pub fries were really tasty.

Friday night fish fry was amazing. We moved from Rochester about 6 years ago and we were looking forward to a nice place to hang out and we ordered the fish fry. Great atmosphere, great prices, amazing fish fry. Thank yall for a great night.

Your Bartenders Julia and Eric are absolutely awesome and some of the best bartenders I have ever had!!! They are amazing, very personable, and extremely nice! They do an excellent job even with a full bar! They are definitely an asset to the Greece location!!! I am a regular here because of them!!!

This place is a joke! The service is snail pace slow, its unacceptable. We were there for hours and were never asked if we wanted refills or asked how the food was. Food is alright but my stomach is not feeling great now, its been almost an hour. I had to literally chase down our server for the bill. Whoever owns/manages this place needs to get it together, my friend and I wont be coming back.

A nice eatery with many Irish and Italian and locally-inspired items on the menu. They do have a lot of brews so get ready to make some decisions. But they need to get otganized with table service a little better. I came in the middle of the afternoon, on a weekend - not exactly their busy time. It took a while for them to notice me and show me to my seat. The service was a bit slow. Then my server left for the day and apparently did not inform the person taking over and I was forgotten for a while. Not a huge deal, only i was in a bit of a hurry and could have really used more attention. The food was good though. Awesome fried pickles.

Our beer was warm, food was cold & we didnt get what we ordered! Our waitress didnt have a clue what she was doing. Ordered shrimp n chips [frys] didnt get frys asked for cocktail sauce she brought ketchup. When I pd the bill told the manager- no sry or anything just said what do you want me to do about it? We will never go there again!

Excellent beer selection. Service was very good. Normally the food is excellent, but the last few visits, the food was average and took quite awhile. That being said, I still recommend MacGregors in general and the Greece location specifically.

Bruce, the manager is an excellent representative for this establishment and surely knows what it means to provide great customer service. The fact that he was willing to and did take the order for myself and a friend when the waitress said we could order at the bar demonstrates that hes worth his weight in gold. Ive been to the same one on W. Ridge Rd a few times. It really is a nice place with a great atmosphere and food. I guess I should give it four stars, but Im looking for just a little more out of this place. Dont know what yet.

Dont go to bars much anymore. That being said, MacGregors is a great place to stop for a brew(or 2!) And grub after work or weekends! Excellent beer list on tap, and theyll let you try a sample if youre undecided. Their wings are some of the best Ive had. Burgers are awesome! Multiple locations in this area of Upstate NY. All that Ive been to are great!

Love the fish fry on Fridays - one of my favorite places for fish fry. They have beer flights for tasting, but one thing I wish they would change, is to offer a better variety within the flights instead of all the same type of beer in a flight. You get all IPA or all porters or all wheat beer. I think they have only one flight that is a mix of beers. The idea is to offer TASTINGS, so offer up more choices that have a variety! This location has outdoor seating which is pleasant on a nice night. Id give you 5 starts if you fix the beer flights!

I stopped in for a quick beer recently, and a fill-up of a growler. McGregors has a huge selection of draft beer, many of which are excellent. The beer certainly is not cheap, but the selection sure is good. Take a look at the specials page before ordering and save a few bucks on a draft beer.

Truly huge selection of beer on tap. Especially IPAs. Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, free popcorn. They even have a separate patio for smokers. Traditional Irish Pub fair mixed in with some interesting fusion dishes. All in all an enjoyable dining and drinking experience.

Good food and many craft beers on tap. Burgers very good. Service was excellent but it was quiet for a Saturday night. You cant see them from the road.

This is a tough location for businesses since there are many to choose from but..... give it a try. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Its the type of place where you can actually hear your conversation. Food is pretty good too so thats a plus.

Service was absolutely terrible. I brought my buddy here for his birthday promising him good food, great beer, and an overall great place. I have never showed my foot so far in my mouth. It took a total of four hour just to get two beers and two entrees. It started with the first 40 minutes waiting for our beers followed by stale nachos. Our foods presentation looked like what I feed my dog. Took almost an HOUR to get our second beer upon requesting one. Waitress forgot to give us our bill which led to her becoming unbelievably rude. I will return because I had some of the best food in the past but it has unfortunately become a last resort.

Beer and Cider flights are fun. Food is great. Ahi tuna is downright healthy. Great staff and popcorn is a plus

Stopped in on Friday night with my wife. Ordered drinks and reviewed the menu. Waitress came back to take our order and I found out that they were out of the Prime Rib that they had on special. This should have been stated up front. The dinner that I ended up ordering was less than best. The service was less than best. I wont be back.

This particular place has to be mentioned here. I went here about a month after it opened and had an awful experience. The menu was not good nor the food or wait staff.Well, time heals all. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit there today. The menu is really expansive with tons of great options. The food was also awesome. My only gripe was the presentation of the food on the plates. Things were kind of just thrown on the plates with no care of presentation at all, which is a disservice to the quality of the food I had tonight.Other than the presentation, the inside was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the music was present but not too present. Overall, a nice experience.

I have to say I am I regular at most McGregors for they’re wings, Cajun gold well done. One reason why I chose this place is mainly because every other location allows me to order just flats... I hate! Drums total waste of money if you ask me. Every time I order from the closest location to home they screw my order up and Give me 2 wings and the rest drums out of 20 wings... I have a receipt here stating all flats.... the bartender did her job, the cool not so much I take it as a slap in the face, $25 and I only got to enjoy 2 wings 😤

I always expect to see more people here when I come here. I usually come for lunch or early dinner though as I dont drink. I do love the Saranac draft root beer though and the Nachos with beef. So good. Burgers and soups are great. I always get good to great service.

I love this place. The menu selections are a blend between Rochester and Buffalos best pub eats. The wait staff is awesome and you can watch just about any game from anywhere in the place. The only reason I only give it 4 stars is the bar is relatively small for the size of the restaurant, and there is rarely a place to sit. Check it out and be sure to order the hush puppies!

I loved my experience at the MacGregors Greece location, the food was phenomenal and the bartender, Julia, was the best I’ve had in a while, her perfect smile and amazing personality made my dining/drinking experience the best I could’ve imagined.

My sister and I went to the Greece location last night, October 31st at around 10:30pm.There was a girl that was playing with the music by the door who turned towards the desk when we walked in and said to the man behind the hostess desk if he was going to seat us.He laughed and said yeah right.. and continued to drink his beer and spit out what appeared to be sunflower seeds, which is disgusting to see in a restaurant where you expect to eat food.The girl laughed and turned back around to play with the music.We stood there for another 3 minutes while she continued to play with the music and the man continued to just walk around behind the hostess desk until he finally walked away towards the kitchen.We left. We used to come to the Greece location all of the time, until the Gates location opened, which is closer to where we live. The Gates location is awesome!The Greece location, no wonder they are losing business to TC Hooligans, which opened next door.The customer service at the MacGregors Greece location is embarrassing.

We had a great waitress. She was funny and attentive. The one thing I dont like about MacGregors is the noise level. However good quality has never been an issue. Not a 5 star restaurant but overall food is good. Great selection of beers.

I love the MacGregors chain. Well. I loved the one in Amherst before they decided to move on this location. The help here was fantastic. Always a giant selection of beers.

This is the worst MacGregors I have ever been to and we will not go back. We ordered the macho nacho app and waited 35 mins for it to come out and in that time our server was nowhere to be found. She finally brings it out and the nachos are burned, the cheese is barely pulling apart and when she came back with more napkins, she blew herself in. She told us it sat under the lamp too long and she told them to put it in the oven, the cook threw more cheese on it and did just that. Why would she even bring it out is beyond me. Then not even check on us. We went at 6 oclock and it was not even that busy. On top of it, literally 3 minutes later here comes our food. They didnt hold onions like my husband asked, the burgers were gross, no flavor and the onion ring that was a main part of the burger was the size of one like you would get from Burger King. My daughter got chicken fingers and I didnt notice until we got home that they were like leather. Very disappointed in service, food and all around experience. They should be embarrassed.

I wanted to share with you about our dining experience at your West Ridge location last evening. My wife and I arrived about 4:30 pm and another couple joined us about 4:45. Two of ordered the grilled wings mine also specified extra crispy. They arrived and both were not only not grilled or extra crispy. The server checked and he entered them properly. The kitchen manager came out and explained that it was a mistake and it wasnt cheaper for them to not grill them. If i was worried about cost I would go thru the drive up window at Burger King and not sitting there drinking $7.00 pints of beer. Another guest ordered the chicken salad special it was a little dry and he requested extra dressing and was told it was portioned out and not available for his $14.00 salad. The kicker of our experience is the waiter brought the bill after giving him my credit card with no slip to sign. I brought it this to his attention and he came back with a receipt for $8.00 more than the first one. The total bill for the 4 of us was over $100.00.

I usually have a great time here. Tonight was different. I understand its busy but the bar server was not friendly at all. Brunette in a pony tail. She did not want to be there. Boneless wings were cold. No napkins. No high top server available. I hope it was just a bad night. The signature sandwiches are out of this world delicious btw

Had dinner here after a show at RBTL. Located right next to our hotel. Good food and service. Prices in line with what you would expect at similar places.

I cant speak to eating in, but their takeout is REALLY slow. Its been about 40 minutes since the food was ordered and they wont even give me an estimate of how much longer itll be. Most places will at least be willing to send someone back to check after so long, but instead Im just sitting here wasting my evening... 47 minutes now, still no food or information.

If I could give no stars I would. Was told it would be a 25 minute wait for my girlfriend and I. We ended up waiting about an hour. When I asked about the other tables that were open and not in use, the person said that they could only work as fast as the kitchen does. We waited 30 minutes for our one appetizer! Another 30 for our dinner. My girlfriends burger was really soggy on the bottom like it sat. They didnt check on us really until we were done with our food. Service is slow and sucks.

Waited a long time for our food to come my buddy has a food allergy for tomatoes never paid attention to if his order was correct thank God he only took a bit out of the sandwich the waiter was very poor over priced drinks manager wasnt professional at all seemed like no one knew what was going on never will eat there again

Excellent food, service & attention to cleanliness!

Usually great, I was disappointed this time. We visited on 4/13. I had steak tips that were extremely overdone and tough. My girlfriend had fish and chips with half the fish being underdone/cold and translucent in the center. Hopefully this was just a fluke.
