I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL NEVER STOP STEERING PEOPLE AWAY!Extremely poor customer service over the phone....I just called to inquire about belts and pretty much got rushed off the phone, saying she has another caller on the line. I was not even allowed the opportunity for a follow-up question...I stopped by this store a while back to shop for a country music festival, nobody was home so I called the number on the door. She indeed told me that she was taking care of a large party of people, even though I couldnt see a soul inside. She made myself and another young couple wait for nearly twenty minutes in the cold until she let us in, blaming it on COVID restrictions. My very first question to her was Where did the party go? I doubt she lets customers leave out the back after their purchases... Already discouraged, I then made my way around the store shopping for an entire outfit realizing everything is 10x overpriced. As soon as she realized I wasnt going to shell out $400 for a hat or $600 for boots, it felt like she was no longer interested in helping me with anything.I hope their fantastic business tactics catch up to them soon!

This is a HORRIFIC place to step foot into.. Whoever was working tonight was an absolute RUDE MONSTER.. We were prepared to spend 300 at least on a small bag.. There were ZERO customers in the store and the moment we stepped in the man at the counter located in the middle of the side wall far into the store starts SCREAMING across the store PUT ON YOUR MASK.. Excuse me we just walked in and you are acting hysterical and rarely anyone is pushing masks in Rochester.. I hope they go out of business as they are not fitting in and there are many many other choices downtown.. RUDE & NASTY MAN

I go here for all of my horse supplies. They have all of the soaps, brushes, and clothing I need. If they dont have it in stock they are willing to order it! The best shopping experience. Thank you for all that you do for the city of Rochester!

This place is a joke! Look at the reviews in the last 2 weeks showing 5 stars. Most of them are from the owner and possibly their friends/family some with made up names. Notice the spelling and grammar, very similar. Those are not real customers. The appointments have to be made because the owner/employees LEAVE. There is NO ONE in the store when she says I have a party of 6 Im working with and due to COVID, no more than 6 people at a time

I literally thought we were in the movie Pretty Woman! Of the five items we were looking at, we were literally told Oh, that isnt for sale ...on EVERY item. Is this place a display or a store?? Unbelievable. I guess selling a saddle, a pair of boots, and several accessories is oddly beneath them. So we left. The owner must be rather eccentric or doesnt understand business very well. VERY STRANGE!

Worst company ever the lady that is there working will sell you anything just to make the sale watch out scamer I went there and purchased a 400.00 dollar pair of work boots and when I used them for Round 7 days the heals started shifting to the outer edges the lady was so rude would not exchange them for me said they were older than they were but she was the one who sold them to me and she also said she remembered me the worst purchased I have ever Made I would never recommend this store ever becouse you could be out alot of money while ther pad there pockets with your hard earned money I cant even wear the boots any more 400.00 for 7 days great store

Made a phone call to the Covared Wagon and my daughters pants will be at the barn before she rides.Yes Taylor I was a serious customer and have made several purchases over the past 7 years at that store. Do NOT shop at this store. Terrible customer service and pressure to buy. The woman lied to me to make a sale on two items. Told me the boots I wanted didn’t come in half sizes and the pants didn’t come in an extra small. She followed me around the entire time so I felt uncomfortable comparing prices on my phone while in the store. I bought the small and special ordered the boots since she was all out of the three smallest sizes of boots. After I got home, out of curiosity, I checked online and sure enough that exact pants I bought were there in an extra small and the boots came in half sizes. The EXACT same boots were marked up TRIPLE compared to what I found them for online and the pants were double the price in the store from the exact pair online. When I went back to the store to return 15 minutes after I made the purchase she told me they would only give me a store credit. Because both items I bought were on sale. There was no sale signs or sale tags on the items I purchased. The woman was so rude. She kept trying to argue and tell me I was wrong even after I showed her the exact items listed online. I believe in keeping small businesses alive which I why I went there in the first place but not when they are price gouging and treating their customers so poorly. Definitely would not give this place any business.

Swindlers! They follow you around the store uncomfortably and pressure you to look at items.. They sell products without tags or mentioning its on sale. If you try to return your items they claim they have no return policy on your items with no mention of it before purchase. Very disappointed. Would not shop there again.

This company is awful. They sold me a helmet that was way to big. I watched this gentlemen call someone 2 different times, and then stated I could get the helmet now and bring it back when the women was present if I did not think it was right. I agreed stating I thought it was to big and would come back when the person I talked to on the phone was present. The gentleman agreed and told me when she would be in next. Only when I attempted to come in with the helmet I was informed that they would not exchange it due to COVID 19. I know what this gentlemen told me, and I would not gotten the item had he not assured me I could return it. I wasted so much time with this gentlemen convincing me that the helmet was the right size. Think hard before you shop at this over priced store. If you really want a great place to shop for these items go to Covered Wagon Saddlery in Oxford.

Great selection and better service. Needed a pair of fashionable boots in a hard to fit size and the salesperson did a great job. You can pay less online but youll never get the same level of service or support and thats worth a lot. Highly recommended.

Most everything they carry seems to be high quality. They have a large selection of boots, a good selection of hats but need to do better with clothing. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

It took 2 weeks shy of a year to get the correct boot in. We were told multiple times that its on backorder. I did some investigating of my own and found out it was NOT. She ordered the wrong size and when we got it they had to be reordered and wouldnt you know it. They were on backorder again. I think the owner never ordered them and was trying to cover her tracks. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even step foot in this dilapidated building.

I live near the shop and always wanted to go in to check out the boots. I finally went in.... I was quite sorry I did. Service was not good at all. I can not speak to the quality of the products as I was so turned off, I did not even consider buying. I do not recommend this place.

Very nice selection of boots and prices. Service was kind and caring and very helpful. Only wish they had a larger selection of shorter boots. But otherwise I had no problem finding the pair of boots to go with my wedding dress. This is a very nice store and I will go back to buy more.

The store has an unclear return policy, things that are on sale are not clearly marked. This store is not interested in repeat business from locals, they are only interested in one time sales. This store is a prime example of why Amazon is thriving.

The service that Ive experienced has been amazing, but a couple of friends have told me about having rude staff. As an English rider I wouldnt exactly recommend this place, there isnt much of a selection. There are overpriced items. Ive purchased boots and gloves that I found much cheaper elsewhere.

Visited the store to get a western button down shirt. Nothing but top quality stuff here. Found exactly what I wanted. They have the biggest selection of boots Ive seen. Im a musician, not a rider, but I love the western look.I did see they have horse supplies too. It really is a saddlery shop.While you are there take a minute to look around. There is a horse right when you walk into the door. The sales person said the shop has been there almost 80 years. Really cool atmosphere and the people are helpful and friendly.I will be back.

BEWARE!!!!Customer service is very poor. They do not care about what you want and try to make you buy the most expensive boots even if you tell them countless time they are not your style. Additionally, one of their sales representatives lied to my face about being able to buy a pair of boots and return them no problem if I not longer want them and never wore them. Of course they did not care at all that their sales representative lied to me and would not take the boots back but would only exchange. Don’t go in there if you’re on the fence about a pair!My shoes were on the more expensive side even with their deal. I have worn my boots a solid 4 times and the leather on the inside and in the detailing on the outside is completely shredded. I wore my boots around, nothing intense besides an average day at work as a teacher.I would strongly recommend finding another place to spend your money on boots. Definitely not good quality at all!!

The store sparkles with the most beautiful selection of boots Ive ever seen, and it has an air of authenticity you cant get anywhere else. Mike was so helpful. He took the time to explain to me the difference between wearing boots and regular shoes.At the end of it I ended up buying 2 pairs since I couldnt resist the design and price that will have heads turning when I wear them!Couldnt be happier!

An insanely big collection of (cowboy) boots, truly a feast for your eyes.The boots in this store are amazing. Whats more amazing is that its so well organized and easy to find items in your size. Even better is the staff--they know which brands run small/normal/large, which ones are narrow vs regular or wide width--in short, they are a font of information, especially for the first time visitor. A Rochester treasure that everyone has to visit at least once.

Very disappointed in this location. Drove an hour and a half to purchase boots here, just to find out they were “closed” even tho the door said they opened at 10am, and google said they were open. Left a voicemail, got a call back 40 minutes later, letting us know they didn’t have power. Even tho all of the businesses next to them had power. The employee said she stopped by in the morning and neglected to even leave a note on the door saying why they were closed. So we drove all the way back just to find out they had a very limited selection of women’s boots in size 8.5. Overall extremely frustrating day.

I rated this place 5 stars before then a shirt I bought didnt fit and they said I had 7 days to return it. I came in a couple days after I bought it to return it they wouldnt let me I could only exchange it. Nothing else in the store really interested me but I had 55 dallors that I couldnt get back. Just know you can return stuff you can only exchange it, even if they say you can return it. If youre the owner change you return policy it even says you can get a refund before the 7 day period. This place is very disappointing.

My mom and I went there to look for my first pair of cowboy boots, last week. Not only the best selection out of pretty much all the stores down town, they had the best prices and best service!! The tall man Michael was working there, he was so helpful, he knew so much about the quality of the boots. I recommend this store to anyone!

Quick trip for getting boots for my little girl. They wouldnt honor a $25 gift certificate that I had brought back 4 days later, wouldnt offer a refund for a defective boot, didnt provide any box for them, and the boots were two different sizes. Im not bringing my two other children there for boots.

Good selection of boots, but from there it drops off... Softgoods were really limited and display and organization left something to be desired. Very limited on any leather goods and the hat selection also seemed limited... Dont let the name fool you in thinking this is representative of AZ!

I ordered cowboy boots online, needed the rubber sole on the bottom. They were very help full. i needed them done asap, and my boots were done in a few day.

Terrible service. The same man that is always working is not helpful at all. And there is hardly any stock of some of the most basic equine items. This place seems like a front for something. I called about bits and he told me they were all out....of BITS??!! Like they didnt have any! When I questioned him he got very defensive and hung up on me. That was the last time that store will get any of my service, and Ill be sure to tell my friends!

Its a nice shop bought a pair of boots and when I looked online realized that they charged double for a boot from a company thats not well known and can purchase them off the walmart website for far less.

One can’t help but stroll through here like a gunslinger moseying through town...with an air of confidence and old school hardiness. With a selection of boots that would make Wyatt Earp faint and hat selection that would give Willie Nelson a heart attack, this is your one stop shop for provisions, partner. Yee-haw.
