The store is okay. It couldve received a higher rating if the employee or owner (whoever he was) treated me with a little more respect.Wednesday May 27, 2020 at approximately 1 pm: I was in the Hughmidor and saw a COVID-19 sign in front saying something like: Must wear a mask and use hand sanitizer to get service. Okay no problem. I entered and right away this guy inside running the store was wearing no mask. If it was good enough for me then it shouldve been good enough for him.At one point I was still close to 10 feet away from him and I took one step forward towards the front desk. He put his hands up in a gesture to stop me as if I was some bug infested grim reaper of rotting corpse. I told him what I needed in the cigar room and on his way to get it, he passed behind me well within the 6 foot minimum safe distance. I suppose hes one of those who likes pushing people around. Theres a line between enforcing the COVID-19 store policy and overstepping that line. He shouldnt be treating customers like that.

FANTASTIC!!!I just went for the first time on Christmas Eve with a relative that was visiting from out of town. We were hoping to find a place that was open and welcoming (even to non-members), had a nice comfortable lounge atmosphere and wasnt going to nickel and dime us for every little thing, like sitting down. The price of admission is ONLY the cost of the cigar. Period.Boy, did these guys fit the bill!As soon as we stepped through the door, we were greeted cheerily and professionally by Alan and offered a quick snapshot of the layout. Having a good idea of what we wanted and not in need of a cigar selecting tutorial, we were shown to the modestly sized, but more than adequately stocked humidor to pick out cigars.We then went and sat in a couple of nice leather chairs after paying an extremely fair price for the sticks wed selected and having Alan cut the cigars for us.Shortly thereafter, Hugh somehow communicated with Alan non-verbally and gestured in our direction. Alan then offered us each some bourbon; compliments of the house!What a contrast to how other smoke shops treat the casual attendee!There were about 10 or so regulars/members that were in another part of the lounge enjoying a good spread of snacks and appetizer-type chow while taking in some TV. We were offered some as well, but we declined.While we sat, we also noticed a good deal of folks who seemed to be first timers looking for last minute gifts. True to form, Alan sprang to give assistance. All are treated with respect; novice or member.Ill definitely be going back.I dont get up that way much, but when I do, Ill be sure to visit!Keep doing what youre doing Hugh and Alan!
