Finding local cafe closed on Mondays got us wandering over to the nearby coffee shop. Besides the expected freshly roasted, brewed classic and specialty coffee, tea, smoothie drinks and baked goods, a breakfast and lunch menu was available. Our Ham & Cheddar Quiche was a nice slice of cheesy, tasty egg bake with chunks of ham and flaky crust. Our choice of side was soup, salad or fruit and we enjoyed the grapes, pineapple and cantaloupe. Supposedly served with toast or house bread, we got a plain bun. We also enjoyed their daily vegetable soup that was thick with mixed pasta, chunky carrots, tomatoes, corn, celery in a lightly salted broth. That too included a plain bun and crackers. Outdoor seating got us enjoying the beautiful day.

Main point: caramel pecan French toastlisten...i absolutely LOVE this place. i tell everyone that they have the bench French toast in town, specially the caramel pecan French toast. it is by far my favorite place to eat breakfast or maybe even any meal in town, and thats saying something because i love food. seriously, you HAVE to try the caramel pecan French toast. such a great portion size for such a great price. go do your tastebuds a favor! and eat local!

Kind of a confusing location. The menu is shared with the restaurant in the same building. You pull forward for the Dunn brothers window and drive around to the other side for the restaurant window.Im sure for locals, it is very convenient. For an out of towner like me it was just confusing.First time at a Dunn brothers and I learned that the infinite black cold press coffee is incredibly bitter. Wont try that again! You cant go wrong with any of their breakfast items. I really enjoyed the pecan French toast but I will come back any day and every day for their biscuits and gravy. Excellent coffee too.

Visiting from out of town and we found this little jewel, after a nice walk on the trails we decided to get some iced coffee an iced chai tea and a pistachio muffin. If the rest of the menu taste like that muffin I might have to move here is that good.Definitely visit her if you have a chance.

The food was cold when it got to our table, the tortilla was dried out on my wrap, server walked by us three times....outstanding management though because when we told management they refunded our meals with the sincerest of apologies and reassured us they would be talking addressing the issues.

Usually I love Dunn brothers but this experience was not like the usual. I ordered a 2egg platter with toast, potato and a protein. I got no bacon :( I hope if they’re going through some staffing issues they get it figured out because it’s a whole new atmosphere there now..

I ordered a breakfast burrito without cheese. I suppose I didnt specify any kind of meat, but I was served a couple of eggs wrapped in a tortilla... For $7... Should have just bought a dozen eggs and tortillas. Then I would have had the same meal AND I could have fed the staff. Boo Dunn Brothers

First off, Ive found people (locals) here five-star everything, even when its not good food... and the coffee at Dunn Bros is absolutely NOT good. I paid $6 for a cappuccino that had a sour, burnt aftertaste. When it tastes like that, it means the water temperature is too hot for the beans. Second, I ordered 25 minutes in advance using their website and when I arrived, the coffee still wasnt ready. It took them another 10 minutes to make it, and they only started making it when I asked for a refund. First and last time here. I wouldnt go back, even if the coffee was free.

I saw a customer ask for a togo box and the employee rolled their eyes at her. The product itself was fresh and to the quality you would expect. However, giving it 3* due to rude employee. If your paying that much for coffee it would be nice to see a respectful staff.

I just had the Mongolian Beef Noodle Bowl. So worth the price which was not as much as I would have expected. The staff are 100% on point and theyre great at explaining the items and answering questions. Most helpful and professional, with an aire of kindness. A lovely place for any occasion.

Very rude owner. Used to go here every day for my coffee but because of her rudeness and dishonesty, we stopped getting our coffee here 15 years ago. By my calculation, she lost $30,000 in sales because she is a nut job!

This is my go-to place for casual meetings or just coffee with a buddy. Zumbro Cafe (which I loved anyway ) has partnered with Dunn Bros to offer some of the most delectable food at the counter and in the connected restaurant. I frequently enjoy their quiche, chicken salad sandwich and healthy treats as well as the indulgent scone or pastry. The atmosphere is classic laid-back coffee shop with local art on the walls and comfy seating. Service has always been good when Ive been there and the staff is friendly.

Some of the best drinks in town. Chai Tea Latte is my go to and it was delicious. I drank the whole thing before my food even came. Ordered Club Sandwich and it was standard fare. Nothing to rave about but thats not a bad thing. It was comfortable and I would definitely get it again. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Comfortable seating and clean lounging/eating area are a plus.

Love the crew at Dunn Brothers, they are always so helpful. Dunn Brothers carries a variety of seasonal coffees and they do their own roasting. I rely on the helpful staff to steer me toward new and delicious coffee as they come in season. Their selection of bakery items are not to be missed. If you get a chance, try their Bagel Bomb (looks like a round bagel ball and is filled with fruit and cream cheese) you wont be disappointed. Also to cool you down, they have delicious smoothies and try their cold pressed coffee. I purchase their Growler refillable jug and keep it in the office.

Busy place at lunchtime. I ordered creamy tomato soup. It came with really good bread & saltine crackers. In my opinion, the crackers are not necessary. Soup was good.

I used to really enjoy this coffee shop for studying and enjoying a nice cup of coffee. However, the last handful of times I have gone, the wifi was either not working at all or extremely slow. The soup is very tasty, but was cold by the time it got to me.

I love this specific dunn bros. Its the only one in MN with a full service restaurant inside and an extensive menu and the food there is GOOD. My favorite breakfast spot in Rochester. My favorite breakfast sandwich ever. Pancakes are awesome! The staff is amazing and the owners are the friendliest people you could meet. I studied here all summer one year. A lot of seating and outlets. Just a cozy place. Great for meeting people.

Best coffee in Rochester in my opinion. This is about the only place that I feel the caffeine in my coffee. I usually get a depth charge or their infinite black cold press which you can buy by the growler. Ive only had their food a couple of times, but it has never disappointed either.

Always a good visit when going to get coffee from Dunn brothers. I also had some soup from the adjoining deli and the soup was delicious. Id definitely recommend coming here. The cashier was also friendly, I appreciated that.

This is, by far, the best of the Dunn Bros in town. Its the only one open past 7pm, and it is much larger than the other I go to. They make good drinks that are less sweet than the competitors. Best of all, they roast their own coffee and have lots of varieties.

A hidden gem in Rochester! Based on the name you’d think they only serve coffee. However, this Dunn Bros is owned by Zumbro Valley Catering and they’ve got a delicious all day menu of breakfast food, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and more! Love the atmosphere and always enjoy coming back!

This is a local chain of coffee shops, very popular among the Minniapolitans. Has everything you want -- good beans, prompt service, tables to sit and sip while browsing your paper or computer, breakfast items. Staff is fine with you waiting for business associate to appear for your casual appointments.

Homey, friendly place. Great coffee and staff. Our group has been meeting there every Thursday for several years and has never considered meeting anywhere else.

Been going to this Dunn Brothers for many years. They recently renovated to make the space bigger and combine the kitchens with the Zumbro River Cafe. I like this change because it gives patrons more space to sit and if I am working on homework I can usually find a quiet spot. Food is always great the the coffee beans are roasted on site.

I love the cold press Growler and its 60% less acidic than hot brewed coffee but way stronger and should dilute half water or milk. The Chocolate Steamed Nirvana is made with the cold press and tastes like the worlds best hot chocolate with a kick of caffeine, its actually euphoric!

After visiting other Dunn Brother locations in other cities, I have to say that Rochester has the best. This particular Dunn Brothers is my absolute favorite. The Carmel macchiato is perfect and their turkey BLT with tomato soup is a perfect lunch.
