This was my 1st time being there, and I didnt explore the whole store. I searched for few comic books but didnt have the issue I wanted. The Gentlemen did help me fine new items that I also needed and more information of the comic convention thats coming to Rochester next month.

This place is awesome. A great find, first time ive ever visited with my 2 yr old he was so great he gave him a comic to preoccupy him, while pointing me in the direction of the comics i was interested in. Lots to look through and extremly organized! Will visit again 100%

Always had an interest in comics just never was able to get into them as I did not know where to go or know much about them. Me and my Fiancee love Star Wars, Spider-Man, and many things Marvel etc. related and we figured we would give comics a shot. (Especially after having a child which can put a halt on movies and video games) We have no regrets and I doubt we ever will. The owner was very kind and easy going the second we walked in and over the course of just a few weeks has proven to be great at what he does and very dedicated to serving his customers to the best of his ability, even newcomers to the comic world like us. He has even gone out of his way to get me a comic (Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren, Issue #1) that I could not find ANYWHERE. Which is the series that really made us both consider getting into comics. He also finds things that you can read to hold you over until your current comics next issue comes out if you ask. ALL FOR AMAZING PRICES. All of the comics plus the Zelda Manga my Fiancee purchased cost around $50, & thats a lot of reading material. I called many comic book shops before choosing a place to go and I knew this was the right place. I believe it is the right place for anyone who reads comics or like me, wants to join the world of comics. I would rate 1st Print Comics a 10 out of 5 if it were possible. Great variety, great customer service, and owned by someone who cares more than just taking your money. I enjoy my experience every time is visit from the moment I walk in, until the moment I leave. This is the place to go. You will not regret it!

This place is GREAT! The owner, Mike, is an amazingly nice and knowledgeable individual. All his back issues are priced fairly and in extremely good alphabetical order. GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, COPPER, MODERN, VARIANTS, CGC, 1ST APPS BUY THE BOX LOADS!!! If you are a serious comic collector or just getting into the hobby, this is the place to shop. Forget Ebay, forget craigslist hunting, THIS is where you need to come. Help out your local comic shop because this one is a keeper. Im already look forward to my next trip! 💎

One of the best comic shops in Rochester

Great owner...No one should go anywhere else !!! The only comic store in Rochester that you could walk into today and ask for a copy of Batman 89 and Mike the owner would hand you a copy and charge cover price w/25% discount attached. This book has been pre-selling online for a week and selling for 30 bucks or better and this mans integrity meant more than a buck. Other shops didnt have a single copy for anyone unless it was their regular subscribers which is fine and the way it should be, but First Print Comics planned well and provided extra copies so no one was turned away. Why wouldnt you shop with someone who has what you want when no one else does and charges you regular price when the advantage is his. Unheard of business in today. Great guy... Great store!!!

My goto comic shop in the area. They offer friendly discounts if you keep a pull bag with them, and theyll do their best to get you what youre looking for. Also very knowledgeable about comics. Its not the biggest shop in Rochester, but certainly a favorite.

Its a shame that most people will drive by 1st Print and not even know that they are there. The owners Dave and Mike are great people. If you have a regular pull list with them they cut you a really good break. I cannot recommend them more.

I love this place, the owner knows his stuff, recommends books to check out and holds books ..Its a little out of my way but worth the journey, gives me the same vibes as the old Empire Comics .

On 5/10, first visit with my 4 year old son was a blast. He was flipping through the comics looking for his favorite superheros and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely will be going back staff extremely helpfull and kid friendly

I went to 1st Print comics this past Saturday for the first time and the overall experience was fantastic really brought me back to the days of my childhood going to the comic book store with my father and two younger brothers. They have a great selection of comics so if your a collector or a casual reader there is something there for you, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable this is definitely a place I would recommend but if you do go there make sure to get there early cause you can easily spend hours looking through the vast selection of comics they have.
