This is such a cool food experience. Cereal bar that has great mixes and lots of mocktails! Recommend coming here at any age to have a fun meal!

Place was awesome! Lots of comic books, toys for the kids and food was amazing! Steak waffle sandwich was great and waffles infused with cereal and ice cream were also pretty good! Staff were friendly. Definitely would recommend and be back!

Great place boasting an amazing atmosphere. And their menu is chalk full of sweet cereals and sugary goodness! Their mocktails are fun, and they have kiddie versions with no caffeine. Another plus is they have very reasonable prices!They have tall tables w/ stools, normal tables with chairs, and some booths/ benches. Plenty of comics to look at, wall art to admire, and video game systems with a large TV.The 2 bathrooms were very clean.This place is definitely *Family Friendly* My daughter was ecstatic at the cereal choices, the colorful drinks, and that there were toys she could touch! This place is a gem if you were to ask me and the service staff are super sweet. The food is amazing and comic atmosphere was the icing on the cake.

Not your average bowl of cereal. Cool choices of different cereal mixes and flights, yes flights, of these combos with toppings and everything. They seemed to be out of a lot when we went and the guy working made decent swaps for us, but I think some combos would have been enhanced by the missing ingredients

This place has the unique pleasure of having both having a fun and casual atmosphere and a professional and beautiful restaurant (at old location). Me and a few friends would always come here, order a few specialty bowls, and then play on their free to use Nintendo Switch. I have a lot of fond memories of this place, and very very reasonable prices that make it a haven for high schoolers like me. I was sad to see it was closing down, but am happy to see that they are going to announce a new location, if I understand correctly. I hope to share many more bowls with friends there in the future!

This place is epic. So much fun and the crazy cereal options are delicious. Amazing house coffee. Great supply of modern comics....and that they donate older comics to childrens charities is awesome.

Our favorite place to take our family. EVERYONE loves it. We love the diversity and welcoming atmosphere. Safety is always a concern in these times, but they are so clean and it’s evident safety is a priority.

Watched an employee stick his bare hand into a garbage bag to check how full it is and juggle it so he didnt have to take it out... Then that same guy brought my waffles out with his bare hand thumb in my syrup. Bagel came out hard, burnt to a crisp. Waffles were great tho.

Its a sweets and coffee shop like no other that makes their own creative cereal creations for you with coffee while The Batman or any other cartoon playson the TV. They also display local fanart, sell comic books and merch, and have games in the back. A must-go!

We finally tried out Pop Roc and loved it. We tried a few bowls of cereal mixes, coffee (local roaster, Fifth Frame), and a milk shake. All of it was super tasty. We checked out the comic selection too and it was solid. The staff was very nice, helpful, friendly, and cool. Free stickers to boot! Well be going back soon.

This is what a modern day chill out place for nerds who want only the most top notch atmosphere, aesthetic, food, and service. If I had 10 stars Id give it to them, theyve earned it.

The coffee was top notch, the cinnamon rolls were tasty, and the cereal made an unique addition to the pastry. What made the place special, though, was the ambiance and all the neat things you can use while you are there, including arcade machines, a Nintendo Switch, and many trade graphic novels to read :-)

World class customer service, super friendly. AKA the first cereal bar in Rochester! Dont get it mixed up, I would recommend these guys ( at 377 east ave) over the other guys across the street any day of the week.

They were one of the first to take the threat of COVID seriously in March, despite the threat to the viability of their business and put the safety of their customers, staff, and community first. And now on the reopening, they still have the same fun, tasty, and creative offerings that are loved by kids of all ages and their accompanying adults, maintained their high level of service, and yet have done a great job ensuring social distancing in the way they set up both their takeout and outdoor dining, You wont be disappointed!

There was a small snafu with the scheduling, but the staff went above and beyond to make the party a success and the kids had such a blast! Theres just a super fun, free-spirited energy to this place that makes you want to keep coming back. Also the price point is really great. Finally a place I cant dream about waking up early enough to visit on a Saturday 🤩😍.Coffee was the perfect pick me up that I needed on a crappy Wednesday afternoon (chocolate cherry). I came in to do some work and check out the comic selection (which is very current 😎👌). I was super suprise to see on the shelves Oreo-os, thin mint cereal, and all of the desert creal I begrudgingly dont by at Wegmans....because I need to act like an adult.PLUS the hours so I can have cereal for desert.👍👍👍👍👍

POP ROC is a fun spot to relax and enjoy some nostalgia. The staff are very polite and helpful. They have tons of options for cereal and you can even turn your cereal into a shake! Additionally, they have plenty of games from board games to video games to enjoy while youre there. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Keep It Realimony Radio had the greatest experience at the Cereal Bar. I actually was planning to go again on September 25th 2020 but unfortunately they are temporarily closed... Great atmosphere, banging food with quality customer service...#litlitspot

First time visiting. Service was awesome, the variety was nearly overwhelming (but in a good way) and the atmosphere was perfect. My wife and I brought our toddler who obviously loved the sugar, but she even got a kick out of the decor. The restaurant is also family-conscious as both bathrooms had changing stations. I got the recommended and popular choice, with cookie crisp and Oreo and more chocolate and it was pretty great. I also tried the King in the North drink, which was more bitter than I expected (I assumed the Java monster mixed in would sweeten the Death Wish brew more than it did) but it was still good.

Fun atmosphere... But service needs help. Ordered milkshakes for my kids, employee was too busy talking to to another customer who wasn’t ordering anything that the milkshake turned into chocolate milk by the time we got it. Sat for over 25 min waiting for shakes.. disappointed.. especially since the kids were so excited to see the place.

This review is in part to give credit to POP ROC for bringing the Super City Festival to Rochester. My son and I had a wonderful time and really loved the environment of POP ROC. My little dude ate cereal while wearing his Captain America costume. I cant understate how cool it is to be surrounded by super heroes, star wars, and video games. My only request would be to slightly expand the menu to include pastries, toast, or bagels for a hot breakfast menu option in addition to the awesome cereal bar! Looking forward to visiting again soon! 8 )

This is a crazy neat little chic place to visit that very geek culture centric. I love stopping in here to see what kind of new pop figures they have an along with what kind of a collect exteriors they might be serving. We were here for the super city of and which was pretty fun!

Theyve got cereals Ive never even heard of! The owner was very attentive even though it was quite busy. Portion size is right on par for what Id expect for the price. Its nice that they also double as a micro comic book store with comics and collectables. Well definitely be back!

These guys are doing their own thing and it is awesome. It isn’t your average coffee shop. It isn’t your average comic shop. Heck, it is the only cereal bar in Rochester, NY. I’m also not aware of any other restaurant type of establishment that lets your kids come in and play with the toys and collectibles for sale... or video games for free for that matter. Yes, it is pretty cool.

Love this place! Its a complete original and Rochesters first cereal restaurant. All the decor was produced by local artists and craftsmen. Check out the counter top! In fact theres always a local artist on display. One month is was Shawn Dunwoody and another was SOTA. (This place is definitely civically conscious.) Its completely unique right down to the Batman/Wonder Woman bathroom signs. AND THE FOOD is amazing. So many options. My new favorite is their chicken and waffles. The staff is friendly. Theres always people talking and laughing at the tables. Good food. Good time.

Went to Pop Roc on opening day for coffee and cereal. It had a relaxing, nostalgic atmosphere with quick and friendly service. They have specials often, over 20 cereal choices, different milk choices, and a lot of different beverage options to choose from. Loved playing some video games and just hanging out! Wish I could start every day there!

The vibe kind of gave me nostalgia for like 2.2 seconds for when I was a kid but this is definitely a hipster spot. I liked the whole idea of it but $3+ for 1/2 cup of cereal and more of u want some milk is not cohesive to my single mom lifestyle... I mean it is located in the heart of East Aves social see and be seen area so I should of known what I was getting into. Lol

They have cereal milkshakes and Soo much more and comics. They make you feel welcome doesnt matter who are or anything. They are delish.

Great place to go for a different kind of atmosphere. We go for old school cartoons playing on big screen tvs, friendly staff, coffee, energy drinks, Nintendo Switch game system, big selection of new comics to buy, and overall cool atmosphere. Its major laid back, has cereal bar with lots of mixed concoctions they feature, and plenty of seating and tables if you and a group of friends want to hang and play Dungeons & Dragons, or just chill and talk about whatever.Highly recommended! If youre visiting and want to check out a unique venue to visit, this is a must.

Its a totally adorable coffee shop/comic store/ milkshake fountain. Such a great idea - milkshakes made with classic kids cereals. The decor is quirky and pop/sci-fi. Comics and collectibles, this is a fun and friendly place, reasonably priced. The shakes are yum. (Oh, and dont be afraid of the TARDIS in the bathroom. Its fully trained and licensed...)

This unique place combines all the cereals that you remember as a kid with a coffee bar, with a great selection of comic books.You can also play some traditional Board games...my wife and I had an hour wait for an East Ave restaurant, I had a cocoa pebbles/count chocula combo cereal and we played a round of yahtzee!It was a pleasant surprise and well be back!
