My name is Steve Teresi and I have been seeing Dr Caito for a few years now for routine eye exams. He is certainly an expert in his field and always provides the highest quality of care. I feel confident that my needs are met following every visit. I recently purchased new lenses and frames from Joanne the Optician. Joanne goes to extremes to be sure that you are 100% satisfied with her services as well as with your purchase. If there is an issue of any kind you can be assured that it will be addressed to your satisfaction! She is also an expert in her field of practice and will help direct you to make the correct choices. Front desk staff are always courteous and most efficient as well. Thanks to all!
I have been going to Alexander Eye Associates for many years.Dr. Sugnet is great. Joanne is full of great suggestions and very persistent in helping you out. I feel comfortable with everybody at Alexander Eye.
I just went to have my eyes checked earlier this week and I have nothing but positive things to say. The doctor was wonderful. Patient, kind, informative, answered all my questions. He was also considerate of my time schedule. Joanne helped me select my new frames. She is awesome at what she does. She is honest with what fits your face in addition to what looks good on you. She does not tell you what you think you want to hear,; she is very honest, but is gentle and kind in her approach. She makes recommendations and is not offended if you say no to her selections. She is a complete professional and a great asset to this business.
I have been going to Alexander Eye Associates for five years now. My favorite part about the company is the staff. The doctors are efficient, on time, and helpful. They fit you in right away if you have an urgent need. The desk staff and and Opticians are quick to assist you, honest, and give you the time you need to make a selection. Go here!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Alexander Eye Associates. I recently had an eye emergency and called Dr. Sugnet. I explained what urgent care told me and the drops they recommended and he insisted he wanted me to come in so he could take a look himself. He selflessly took time out of his day to meet me and sure enough, it was worse than what urgent care thought. Thankfully, Dr. Sugnet knew exactly what to do—he prescribed drops that worked almost instantly and he even wrote down the schedule I was to follow with the drops. Since then he has followed up several times, as he knew I was very anxious about it, given that I’m getting married in a week. Despite my frantic behavior, he was calm, light-hearted, and so patient with me. I am so unbelievably grateful that I will not have to wear an eye patch at my wedding, all thanks to Dr. Sugnet.
Dr. Caito has been my Optometrist for at least 5 years and I find him to be professional and intelligent. During exams he is thorough and provides a clear and concise summary at the end which is appreciated. He often explains things in further detail than Ive seen from other doctors which I like to think is because he is so interested in his work and cares about patients. He is calm, always in a pleasant mood, and I feel very genuine.Dr. Sugnet was also professional and helpful the one time I met with him. While some reviews note rudeness from the receptionist I find them to be professional but not overly friendly. Perhaps it was a bad day for them.
Fantastic optometrists. Dr. Sugnet is always punctual with his appointments and has demonstrated time and again that he cares deeply for his patients. True professionals!
Ive been a going to Alexander Eye for a few years now. After numerous poor experiences at the VA and other large chain optical establishments, I figured I would venture elsewhere. A friend of Mine told me about Alexander and wouldnt stop talking about how much he loved that place, (which i thought was weird cause why would you talk about your eye doctor like that) and now I am happy to know what he was talking about. Dr. Sugnet gives ME recommendations on my what tests we should conduct and why, my contacts/glasses that best suit my eye and takes the time to further educate me on my eye health. I never feel rushed or that I am pressured to purchase anything. They have always been flexible with my every changing and crazy schedule and the receptionists have always followed up with reminder calls (which I need). The Eye glass selection is amazing with tons a great styles and I think Jimmy spent almost an hour recently helping me choose which frame not only suited me best but also fit properly..... I didnt even purchase glasses from them that day! but they were so accommodating that I went back to make sure the people who deserved my business got it. The list goes on. If your looking for an outstanding Eye health experience.... look no further. They dont accept my employers insurance, I can get free eye exams and glasses from the VA... I still come back and will continue too. When your dealing with something as important as your vision.... I would think you would want the best care possible and this is where youll find it.
Ive always had a great experience with this office.
Ive been a patient at Alexander Eye Associates for three years now and have always been happy with my experiences. I go for yearly eye exams/contact rechecks, but this year I decided I should update my 10+ year old glasses (yes, that right, 10 years old, frames and lenses). The thought of picking the wrong glasses was enough to make me avoid the experience for far too long.Since I had no idea where to start, Megan and Joanne grabbed glasses off the wall and helped me narrow down the frame shape and color that looked the best on me. When it came to lenses, they walked me through the pros and cons of all the options. It was fast, easy, and FUN! And now I have super cool glasses that I absolutely love!
I’ve always had an excellent experience here! They’ve always gone above and beyond with my eye care and glasses. My appointments are always a pleasure!
I stopped by Alexander Optical Associates last week to have a pair of glasses that I bought online adjusted because they were really hurting the bridge of my nose. From the moment I walked in I was very impressed. The receptionist was helpful and told me that shed be able to squeeze me in without an appointment and the actual space is very chic and inviting. I walked in off the street in the middle of day and Dominic and his partner helped me almost immediately. They went above and beyond to make sure that my glasses fit and were totally comfortable. Thats the type of service that only small, local businesses can provide. I plan on going there and buying my next pair of glasses when the time comes. Their excellent service bought them a loyal customer.
Dr Caito over charges his patients. I bought contact lenses from him He charged me $433.00 for them. 1 year later I ordered the same lenses from another office and they changed $279.00 for the exact same thing. I will never go back to Dr Paul Caito and I advise everyone else not go go to this business. I asked them to submit The order for insurance payment. They said they did but they didn’t. I called my insurance. They said it was not submitted. I asked Dr Caito’s off to do it again since it was not received at the insurance company. They said they didn’t understand why it was not received. I checked with the insurance company again a few weeks later. Once again they said it was never received. They are fleecing their customers and lying to them. NOT GOOD!!!!
The friendly service thing must be from years past. I called and asked if they could fix a pair of bent eyeglasses and was flatly told, No, not unless youre a patient here.
I dont usually leave reviews, but I picked this place based on the (mostly) good reviews. They told me two days ago that my eyemed insurance wouldnt cover exams at my first appt with them today. I had set the exam a week before today - wouldve been nice to know sooner. I told them Id see if my medical insurance would. Then I hurt my neck the next day and spent most of it on painkillers, unable to sit up without assistance. I realized in the evening that I hadnt told my wife to call them back about the insurance - so I called in the morning to cancel the appointment altogether and see if rescheduling would be okay.I see what the one bad review meant. The receptionist said nothing besides what she needed to confirm that neither me nor my wife would be giving them money today. Then she said bye (verbatim) and hung up on me midsentence while I was apologizing and about to ask about rescheduling. Now Im in pain, immobilized at a time when I really cant afford it, AND pissed.Based on the good reviews, I expect theyre polite and cooperative at Alexander Eye Associates as long as interactions go smoothly, but you could say the same thing about some toddlers.Ill be looking elsewhere for our exams + frames and wish I had just slept in today instead. It wouldve been rude, but that seems to be par for the course.
