I got a fantastic deal on a pair of transition single vision glasses, just over $100 with frames. Unfortunately they made my head spin when I wore them. They redid the lenses and the effect was reduced but still there. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them. Almost a year later I called them to see what they could do for me. their special deal was to replace them for $350. This was a “sale”. I would not trust their lab, promotions or even their management.

Definitely the best experience I’ve had at a Lens Crafters! For starters, I have a lot of respect and appreciation for how hard the company is working to put into place precautionary measures to protect customers and employees alike during the pandemic. The company has a series of carefully followed precautions that don’t detract from the customer experience, and show a clear commitment to keeping everyone safe, which is much appreciated! I had such appreciation for the doctor I saw, who was professional and friendly, but more than anything for the assistant, whose name I wish I had gotten!, who was friendly to talk with and very helpful. But above all, the lead optician on staff, Dan Wooten, was awesome! I had some questions and was getting somewhat frustrated by being unable to get a clear answer considering how differently things work in Lens Crafters locations outside of my home state, and Dan took time out of his day not only answer my questions, but to do so kindly, patiently, and thoroughly. He‘s a personable, real, easy-to-get-along-with guy, and is clearly very intelligent and knowledgeable in many aspects of his field. I’m very glad to have come in while he was on shift, because not only did he thoroughly and honestly answer my questions, even the more unusual ones, but he just seems like a really good guy in general. Honestly everyone on staff here is really pleasant, friendly, and were all very respectful of my service dog and disabilities. Even though this Lens Crafters is further away than other options in the area, I’ll certainly be switching over to coming here for all future appointments!

I was able to make a last-minute appointment online. Came in and was greeted by three different people, and all seemed very genuine. I waited a short time--a very reasonable time, as they were quite busy. Great store great team always working hard to make sure your needs are met, even in a traditional retail of less employees and more customers they work hard to make sure no one is left behind. I can’t say how many times I’ve walked into other opticals and just walked out after not being greeted or acknowledged after 10 mins or so this store is not like that at all!

I’ve been coming to this location for a few years and I have to say that overall, I’ve had a pretty good experience. They don’t always get you in on time when your appointment is scheduled - BUT for the most part they try their hardest to. I have recently had a wonderful experience specifically with Stephanie - she is very caring and thoughtful and has made my overall experience with this location better!

Last year when I received an exam and then got glasses all went well. Return 14 months later to because the anti-glare coating was coming off and they did not acknowledge it was the fault of anyone but me, and refused to replace the lens at my expense unless I agreed to an eye exam. And the people I encountered were rude and dismissive.

I went to Irondequoit Lenscrafters to have lenses put in a pair of vintage eyeglasses. Unfortunately that turned out not to be possible so I looked for and found a pair of frames I liked that were stylish and moderately priced. Dan took time to explain the different progressive lenses with me as well as other aspects of my lens choices (I also wanted scratch resistant, transitional lenses). I came away knowing I was well informed and had made the best choices for me and my budget. Dan was personable, professional and totally committed to providing great customer service. I will definitely be returning for future eyeglass purchases.

I never got a call, letter, email, text that my glasses were ready? I called the store. Customer Service who never answered so many times I lost count & was put on extensive hold I emailed, texted. There was no reason why they couldnt have work at home representatives answering?? No apologies? I have been a Customer Service representative for 16 years for a large company & we would Never let our customers feel this way. I called Eye med & they had the same experience & said they would report them. I logged onto LinkedIn to find the CEO & he did respond but he was the former CEO. Google still had him listed. I finally went to my bank & reversed the debit charge. Once they finally opened in June they left me a voicemail but I was done with Lens Crafters by then. The bank charged back the $. NEVER AGAIN THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE & THE TIME, ENERGY & FRUSTRATION I WENT THRU WAS NOT WORTH IT?! NOT TO MENTION MY PRESCRIPTION HAS CHANGED (IN MY LATE 50S) & I HAD HEADACHES FROM THIS. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME & RESPECT DONT WASTE IT ON THIS COMPANY!! THERE ARE TOO MANY OPTIONS TO GO WITH A COMPANY WHO DOESNT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS TO FOLLOW UP AT ALL

Ive come here about 6 or 7 times over the past two years to get my children their eyeglasses as well as a few odd trips for a missing screw or bent frame readjustment. Id say overall theyre really welcoming and helpful. There was one occasion where I think we might have been in the store for over an hour and the kids were getting restless and were near a display of beach toys and sunglasses. I kept encouraging the kids not to touch, and an employee who noticed the situation came over and gave each of my girls one of the beach toys to play with. My wife and I decided right then that wed continue to come here for our eyeglasses and contacts.

Not sure why they have so many low reviews, I had a really awesome experience. Id gone in Monday to see if they had availability for appointments and was greeted right away. They were booked for the day but happily scheduled me for Tuesday. On Tuesday they had me in right away (I got there early) and the staff were really kind and professional. Dr. Ly is really awesome. Shell be honest with you and she called me out for not having had an exam in so long, but in a nice and respectful way. The staff who helped me pick out new frames were very patient and friendly and even helped drop the price since I dont have insurance. I hadnt been here in quite a few years but every time Ive gone its been a good experience so I definitely recommend them.

Had a noon appointment and it was clearly told to me that I needed to be early to fill out paperwork or they would have to reschedule. I can respect that. I was 15 minutes early, filled everything out and watched a woman come in and say shes here for her 11am appointment. They took her anyways without a fuss and I didnt get seen until 12:40. I told them I only had limited time until I had to work which is why the appointment originally fit great into my schedule but due to the previous customer I would have to reschedule. I was told I shouldve planned accordingly, appointments take longer than 15 minutes. Very rude and condescending staff will not recommend or go back.

They are SO rude. They act annoyed with everything - calling or coming in for appointments. How do you have customer service staff with ZERO customer service skills. Called to order contacts and the person on the phone reminded me 5 times she was in the middle of something. I could hear her rolling her eyes through the phone. After her huffing and puffing into the phone looking into my chart she asked if she could call me back and never did.

I went to this store last year and purchased eye glasses and shades for myself and husband. I also purchased my mother a pair of glasses. At the time I did not get an eye exam. I had a prescription from another place. I loved my glasses so much I went to get an eye exam today and purchase new glasses and contacts for myself and daughter. The doctor Phuoc Ly was very rude and lack customer service skills I would NEVER return to that store ever again. I would not recommend her to anyone. Very unprofessional. She asked “ why did you come to this store why don’t you go back to Rochester Optical “? She also stood up for us to leave. I have never encountered such poor customer service. We left and went to Lense Crafter at Marketplace mall where I encountered excellent customer service.

Went in today, eye exam was ok. HOWEVER, the lady that was supposed to help with my frames and lenses needs to go to customer service school! She claimed to have 30 years experience in her job, in my opinion she shouldnt even be in this business PERIOD. She was rude, pushy, tried to upsell everything, didnt explain anything about our insurance which we were asking questions about due to just starting to use it. I honestly could keep going about her but I think you get the idea. We got a copy of my prescription and went over to Pearl Vision, where we got excellent customer service, kind family oriented business associates and we walked out feeling relieved and very happy with the glasses I ordered. I had the worse treatment from staff...I cant remember her name but she treated me and my kids sooo bad. I had 2 of my kids exams done, which was great, no problem there but than, I was trying to get a replacement for my youngest, but the lady was so rude, when she called the insurance (blue choice option) she comes back and tells me I cant get a replacement when I KNOW I can...I had to call myself and confirmed I was right, the insurance rep tells me she can talk to her, when I try passing the phone to her she says Im busy right now (she was putting back a pair o glasses) she had no customers, so I had to get another staff to get on the phone to get my 8 yr old a replacement..VERY POOR service. I will never come back here. I rather drive to Henrietta.

There appears to be an issue with the service of the admin staff here. I went there once with my daughter last year and we were there nearly 2 hours. They referred her to a specialist for glaucoma testing but getting the records forwarded and the referral to the specialist took several calls for which I waited over 15 minutes on the line each time. I just called to get a copy of her prescription and her reaction to my request made me feel as I was an annoying customer. Based on the experience I had last year I opted to NOT take my boys there. I do not recommend going to this location...or maybe not even going to Lenscrafters at all. I took my boys to Pearl vision and we were in and out in less than an hour!!

I am beyond fed up with this place. Two weeks ago I went for an eye exam and contact lens measurement, where I was told that they would first need to order some trial lenses which would arrive in about a week. It turned out to be more like two weeks before I received a call. When I went to go pick the lenses up the following day, I was told that there were two lenses for the left eye, but none for the right. According to the paperwork they were looking at, the right lens was out of stock. There was nobody there who could give me any concrete answers, but I was told that somebody would get back to me. Its been more than two days since, and still no word from anybody at LensCrafters as to if and when the other lens would arrive. To make matters worse, a similar thing happened last time I ordered contact lenses from this location. If LensCrafters cannot right their wrong, and fast, I will be taking my business elsewhere, and recommend that others do too.

Honestly disappointed. I went to go get contacts at a new eye care facility, got the trail pair, then lost them, then went to see if I could reorder them but I had to wait for a doctor to see me. They said they would call me back but never did. They dont remind you of appts or follow up and it takes way to long for things to get done.

My girlfriend goes here. They are sooooo rude to her. I watch her get attitude from their employees every time she goes. Ive told her to stop going there but fortunately for lenscrafters, she still does for only god knows why.Today she called them to compare prices and the employees once again gave her so much attitude when she asked simple questions. These people are absolutely disgustingly rude. I dont know how they keep business, they sure as hell have to be chasing customers away. In person they are disgustingly mean. Over the phone they are just as disgustingly mean.This center is either desperate for employees or take pride in their Screw the customer attitudes.

I wish i could give them no stars honestly. Everytime i go there Im treated like crap. Ive even had a doctor give me attitude! This place is horrible. I called them today to compare prices to 1800 contacts and not only did I have to wait 20 minutes for an answer during business hours keep in mind, once someone answered they once again gave me a crap ton of attitude for asking and said they dont know their own prices. Haha! Really? This place is a joke. Also I try my best to keep cool and be kind to strangers and even being kind they treat you terribly. I honestly hate this place. They make lenscrafters look terrible.

Everytime i go here its like no one wants to help. Already a second visit within a week and no one wants to sell me glasses! Im an easy customer already know what i want and need but nope these people who work here just absolutely stink!

Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Gave me attitude about my insuarance. Acted like I couldnt get my contacts because of my insurance. When I asked to pay out of pocket, she looked at me like I had three heads. Completely ignorant and beyond unhelpful. If I could give NO stars I would.

I was told the services would cost a certain amount ($30) at the beginning and then at the end was told that they made a mistake and it was actually $120! Nice trick.

Back in november of 2014 i had a terrible experience at the greece ridge mall location.Now months later in june of 2015 I went back to same location for a problem with my glasses, I was more than satisfied with the way i was treated by Todd one of the floor managers,He did go above and beyond all expectations and i will definitely be going back to visit and purchase .I would recommend anyone needing glasses to do the same.

The last four times in as many years that I have visited this location the service is horriable the staff is unhelpful and snotie, and twice of the four times they have built my glasses wrong. Dont waste your time and just go to another eye care professional because these jokers dont love eyes thats for sure.

This place is a total joke! I went in for my appt. and 2 weeks later I received a post card saying its time for my 2 yr. appt for contacts. The Dr. gave me the wrong prescription for my right eye and told me Id get a call once they had more in stock. Go figure I never got that call, but when I called them, magically they had it waiting at the desk for me. They told me theyll call when they get more contacts and guess what?? Thats right, Im still waiting. This place is just a factory to churn people in and out as quickly as possible with no regard to eye care at all and their prices are INSANE, and not in a good way either.

The manager Theresa is very rude and unprofessional. She acted like it was a real annoyance to help customers instead of it being her JOB. How does the business expect to keep customers when the manager drives them away with her poor attitude.
