I love to go to this store. They are always so helpful, but when we need to look around they dont disturb their customers. I can look at things for hours. sometimes creative ideas come up when you see a fabric.

Cindy was helpful, professional, and informative. The store was clean, well kept and had tons of inventory! My first time there, but I will definitely be back!!

Very pleasant and professional experience. I needed a replacement part for my sewing machine and they had it in stock. The owner called me to take care of my order over the phone because I live an hour away in Buffalo, New York. My order arrived in a few days. I will definitely do business with this establishment in the future!!

I just don’t understand the negative reviews on here, but I guess if you’ve had a negative experience you are more likely to share that than a positive one. I have to believe that there are so many more positive feelings that haven’t been expressed, so let me share mine:I ❤️❤️❤️ it here! (I am an employee too!) Seriously - how many people can say they truly love going to work?! I get to work with the most amazing people and be around high quality sewing, quilting and embroidery products. This is a group of women who welcome you into their “home away from home”, that want to help you learn and succeed and have fun while doing it!

My machine broke down during the pandemic. The gentleman that services machinec came right up and looked at it. He was very honest about how long it would be before he would have it fixed. I stated that I needed to buy a machine then because I am a mask maker. The owner came over and worked with me to find a price that was reasonable for a machine that could handle the long hours of work while acknowledging that money is tight because I am not charging for my masks. She was not pushy at all. Very kind and honest. It was my first trip to this quaint little shop and I will most certainly be returning.

We happened upon this store while driving around a few weeks ago. Such lovely ladies working. They were very helpful, informative and allowed me to take a spin on a beautiful long arm machine. The store is filled with beautiful fabrics and notions. I have now found another great fabric store to frequent!!

I just called this business to get a price on an expensive upgrade to some Brother software I am looking to buy (probably $300-$500). I wanted to make sure to get it from an authorized dealer instead of taking a chance with an online seller. They checked, and have it in stock. But, they couldnt give me the price over the phone because I havent bought a machine from them, or the original software. Seriously? I am over an hour and a half away and really dont want to drive that far to see that its too much for me to buy. If it was in my price range I would gladly travel. Even if it was a bit more than online, to help a small business. This is the closest authorized dealer to me. But instead, I will go to Amazon and get it from them. Such a silly policy, and in this case it cost them a sale. No wonder more people lean towards the internet for purchases, when stuff like this happens.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. They weren’t pushy at all when I was shopping for a serger. Also, the free classes and one on one help are such a great deal with a machine purchase!

Beautiful selection of fabrics....amazing variety of quilting supplies and the staff were wonderful! Also absolutely love how the fabrics are organized ....so much easier to browse and choose. Wonderful place! Shop local!!

Ive called the store and stopped by several times and I completely agree with the other reviews that mentioned rude or uninterested employees. Women buying sewing supplies and fabric can sometimes be difficult to deal with, so I can only assume the employees here have been hardened by that... But its frustrating to have a close store like this that I dont really want to go to because of the employees. I end up at joanns where the employees arent much better, but at least theres a coupon... I want to stop by again and give them another chance--will update if I do!

Im torn about Jackie Lynns, its a real mixed experience.The Pros: great selection of sewing machine supplies (competitively priced, not a huge markup over buying online) and threads for all purposes, and some things you wont generally find anywhere else. Quilters and experienced sewers can probably find everything theyre looking for. Some of the ladies there are very nice, very polite. When i bought my sewing machine there five years ago, i got a great little walkthrough on the basic features of the machine and how to use it.The Cons: Ive been in here a bunch of times in the past couple of weeks, and not one person has given me the experience I expect shopping small. You know that feeling when youre working on a project and the employee shares in your ideas and wants to brainstorm along with you, showing you things they have, that you didnt even know you were looking for? I have been in for supplies for costume making for my family for Halloween. No one has been excited about that or asked me questions about what im trying to make, to help give me suggestions, no one has been like oh have you looked at this? to show me anything that might help me in my endeavors. So i guess just stick to telling them youre browsing unless its something theyre passionate about.Came to look at sergers, which people had been telling me, for the kind of work i like to do, I need a serger to improve my life. I go to look at them and i ask if they take different feet or if it just needs the one and i was told its a serger, all it does is serge. Great. Thats a terrible answer to an innocent question - like my sewing machine can have a knit foot for stretch fabrics, or a gripper foot for thicker materials like leather, i know all a serger does is serge but not if it has different feet to accomplish different tasks. Imagine if I was a new customer that had never been in there before! I would be so turned off.I love having a sewing supply store close by, and i have had some good experiences and some awkward ones. I think this store just needs a personality lift to be more approachable to people of all skill levels and interests.

I had a recommendation from a quilter I know to bring my sewing machine here to be repaired. I brought it in the store and their repairman came out to ask what it needed, then fixed it in less than a minute and said no charge!
