One of the BEST liquor stores in Rochester in my opinion. This place looks very inviting with character and the owners are third generation. This place has been open for 74 years! Theres some great selections of champaign, wine, and liquor. They have some local stuff as well and lilac gin that comes out around the lilac festival. This place is defiantly one of parks ave oldest gems. The family who this place are really nice people Id defiantly recommend it to anyone who hasnt been here already.

Great family-owned liquor store. The employees are knowledgeable and nice. Prices are decent and the selection is wonderful. There is a lot more space than would be expected when looking at it from the outside.

After moving to the area, I was looking for my regular go to liquor store. Schuber very quickly became that spot! Friendly, personable staff, with a good selection at fair prices, withoutbeing too overwhelming. On street parking is usually pretty easy to find too.

Greg is a second generation owner, you won’t find a nicer knowledgeable wine merchant anywhere. His experience and ability to listen to the needs of his customers are attributes that you don’t find very often in any establishment. My suggestion is to shop the small guy with the interest to make your beverage selection the right on.

I support the locals when I can. Some of the prices seem a little inflated to me on specific products, but then others are below market, so it evens out. The folks working here are super friendly too, so its definitely a good experience no matter what.

I stumbled across Schubers when I first moved to Rochester, as it was the closest liquor store to my apartment. Years later, no matter where I live in the city, Ill always make a point to return when I need wine or spirits. Family-operated, friendly service and knowledgeable staff make it a pleasant experience every time. Despite being on a trendy street, their prices remain fair!
