This place is horrible! Terrible costumer service and very unprofessional. I would not suggest you keep your things here. They will allow people to steal from you. No one is controlling the security.

I stopped in to buy one carton. It had to be within airline designated dimensions (62 hxwxg).. the clerk w went way out of her way to help me. She even talked about side handles for lifting the box. Thank you..snd cheap! The box survived the 9 hour flight and I didnt get charged an oversize fee.

I cant imagine a storage facility better than this vast drive-in warehouse: clean, well lit, secure, easy to access, with friendly and helpful staff. The indoor driveway could use some repaving - its hard to push a cart through some of those potholes - but its otherwise well-maintained.

I came to figure out what size I needed and Patty was very helpful! The building was nice and clean and warm. Great prices, and I found the perfect size.

This place has rats. Its disgusting. I came to pick up my things and found rat poop everywhere. Had to throw out my things. Do not store your things here. It is unsafe.

This Life Storage location has always been extremely helpful to its clientele. Their ability to assist in your storage needs as well as best pricing options is a breath of fresh air in these times. My unit is always kept impeccably clean and clear and 24 hr access is beneficial as well as great storage mates.

Never needed a storage unit but had to move out of my place last minute. Came here first and was greeted by Gene. He was extremely friendly and explained everything in detail. Building and units are clean accessible and well priced (I got a month free too!!). I would recommend Uncle Bobs / Life Storage to everyone. Gene is the man !!

People who write these reviews.. are they really real? I honestly dont have a reason to lie. This facility is a thumbs down. They charge outrageous prices, you cannot have 24 access to your unit, the associate manager is very rude! It isnt worth it. Trust me. On top of everything I rented a unit and they told me it was a drive up unit but when I arrived it was a locker like unit far back in the warehouse where I had to use a ladder to put my heavy belongings in that didnt seem secure. I had no other option to go with it because it was last minute. But public storage is the way to go. Uncle Bobs is a joke. They try to bribe you in with free month specials but they charge insurance still and if you are 3 days late they tax a 25$ fee on top. Go at your own risk

We have had several (4) different storage spaces at the University Ave. Life Storage for more than 3 years. Often the unclean smell of the interior spaces bothered me when we were loading and removing from our spaces..but for a while now there has been NO unpleasant odors and the isles are beautifully kept; always clean and spic and span..what a difference. Now I know it is because of the dedication and work of Marlo, the woman who is responsible for the maintenance there.When I was training people for service and excellent work ethics, I would quote a Chinese saying: By the work you know the worker. In this respect Marlo tells volumes about herself...she has such rare standards of work and excellence in all she does...yet she always has time to warmly greet all of the clients coming and going.Once in a while there is an EXTRA-ordinary person doing EXTRA-ordinary work, such an unique and special person is Marlo.

Ive been working overseas for over three years, and Uncle Bobs has done a great job storing my things in that time. Access hours are nice, and the facility has always been neat and tidy when Ive stopped in. There are quite a few carts available for use. The temperature control works well, and Ive never had any pest issues in my storage unit. My unit is always in the same shape and order that I leave it in. The staff have always been pleasant and well-informed. Overall I am very satisfied with my storage experience here.

The manager Jim has gone above and beyond our expectations. He helped us choose the perfect size unit while we stored items during a home renovation. His customer service will bring us back to Life Storage if we ever need to store items again.

Having been renting here for a few months now it has been a very pleasant experience. I have never had any issues with my space or its cleanliness (I have had issues at other, more Public storage areas). The Representatives who work here have always been very helpful to me. Kayleigh helped me originally move in and was very nice and patient with finding my right size and fit for me. I would definitely recommend this location. Thanks Uncle Bob!

I have been at Uncle Bobs Self Storage on University Ave since 2004. I have stayed here because of the excellent service and friendliness of the staff. I have worked with Dennis since 2006. He is always there for me when I need him and is willing to go above and beyond not only for me but for others as well. I have many friends and co-workers that use Uncle Bobs and they all have great things to say about their experience there. If you need a reliable location and staff to store some of your things. I rented with Life Storage for 12 months, beginning back when they were still Uncle Bobs Storage. Affordable, clean, safe, great hours for access, and top-notch staff! . . . If I ever need to store again in Rochester, this is definitely where I will go.

Nice place with accommodating people. I was there for almost 2 years and the price kept inching up every 6 months until it just was not worth it so I moved to a different place and saved $30 per month for a larger space.

Ive had my storage there for the past 3 years no complaints.Caitlin McQuilken is wonderful and so is the rest of the staff, very friendly and hospitable. Thank you guys for being so kind we need more friendly people in the world with customer care and service!

Great storage facility with clean units. Only issues are the inconvenient hours and the way they make you park your car inside. You have to wait for the people behind you to finish unloading before you can leave.

Gene is the best! He has been very helpful for the last year and a half I have stored there.

So im new to renting storage space and i asked about pricing over the phone and whether i can have it on a certain date if i put down a deposit the girl nicole said no so then i said what if i pay in full then she said yes. when i went in the office she said its not for that certain date and that the rent would start as of today and that she miss-spoke, she did not apologize but whatever i already made my trip there so i paid about $378 for 5x5 for 3.5months. i didnt see the space beforehand so i didnt really know how timed light switch works. first day i moved in 1 box of shoes into my dark space. second day i figured i had time so i went there to drop off 3 boxes of books. i saw the light switch and turned it on for the first time. guess what i saw? mice poop. mouse fur, detached tail, mouse skull. so i complained to the office and the guy was apologetic came in with broom brushed it into a dust bin said that means the traps/poison are working.If you would like photos of what i saw, please contact me and i will send you a link.

A cool place to store your belongings and inexpensive.

Renting a space at Uncle Bobs makes the whole experience seem better...nobody wants to leave their possessions in a storage area, but this location makes a person feel confident that all is in a good place !!
