I had an excellent experience at Safelite on Riverside. I had 4 people recommend them to me so I had no doubt I would have great service. I made an appointment online which was super easy, and they gave me text updates when my car would be ready. They were accurate when it would be done and they even replaced the sticky tabs for my Ipass which was a pleasant surprise! Very kind staff I would definitely recommend this place who needs repairs or replacements.

Im gonna give them 4 because they were outstanding at the shop, but their phone service automation system absolutely SUCKS! Their online service wouldnt/couldnt find my vehicle when I entered the vin and theres no option to talk to a human if you have a question. If not for that nightmare, this place would have received a 5 star rating from me.

Was not satisfied with the service. They ordered the wrong part, did not communicate with us before to ask questions ...ended up having to drop it off the next day. They didnt follow instructions and requests for vehicle stickers to be transferred. Now lets see the quality of the work with the new windshield.. time will tell.

I just had back surgery. Had my windshield replaced at home. Pulled my vehicle in the garage. Three days later I get in my car and to my disappointment the glass is cracked this time on the drivers side. Also there is two marks deep into my paint job. My vehicle was brand new. I expected a crackless windshield . And no marks in my paint. The fact that I cant even speak to a customer service representative pisses me off. I alao had to wait two weeks for my windshield to get there.

Honestly, I cant say enough good things. I had the best customer service experience of my life here. I came with a problem to replace my leaky windshield. I have been to two different Ford dealerships 3 different times and they essentially just sent me on my way without doing anything( still charging me, might I add). Safelite helped me find and fix a problem that I havent been able to solve in well over a year thats been destroying my vehicle. At Safelite, instead of selling me a product that I didnt need, they took the time to find the problem and just flat out fix it for me. They talked to me like a real person instead of just another customer, answered any questions I had, and made me content beyond belief. The people are amazing and super friendly. I can not recommend this place enough! This will be the first place I go if I ever need any auto glass work done!

Stayed home 2 Saturdays in a row, to be told this isnt the right wind shield Spoke w/ Colby assured someone would call me today April 26,2021. I gave Colby 5 FIVE different days I could stay home again. Whomever set up appointment for Monday May 3,rd, I have clearly told these people I can not do during the week..No call today, Safelite clearly knows I work out of my car. WTH? This has been an incredibly frustrating, I will be calling my Insurance Agent to find a much more competent company...

Set up an appointment online to have my passenger door window replaced. I showed up a few minutes my appointed time and checked in. My vehicle was taken in at around my appointed time and the work was completed within 45 minutes. I am very pleased with the replacement process and the courteous staff.

Work was fast and accurate! Car took a while because computer did not work and they left dirt all over the dash. But the window went in and has been working well.

I scheduled an appointment for 10 am got right in and my windshield was repaired and finished quickly.I am impressed there is just the tiniest little blemish remaining almost looks like nothing happened.

This location is great. My drivers side window busted and they were able to get me in within days. The original replacement window didnt fit correctly, and they worked with me to get it replaced, even came out to my work to take care of it. Highly recommend them.

So many issues. Mobile tech did not repair chip, but did add scratches. Shop replaced window, but now I have to go back as there is a vibration in the window or the trim pieces removed for installation. Hopefully 3rd time will be the charm.

We set up an appointment on a Saturday morning. They got us in, had the windshield we needed in stock and it was done before 2pm. John was efficient, helpful and wonderful to deal with. He even vacuumed the whole front inside of the vehicle to collect any glass shards. We would highly recommend this business at this location to anyone who asked. I used them to repair a chip in my windshield because I wanted to see if what their commercials say is true, but I did go to their shop to have the work done. Was done quickly and everything was explained after the service. Very professional and I would recommend them to anyone that would need this type of service.

They quoted me $200 to replace my 2 piece windshield. After driving all the way there they wanted to charge me $200 to remove and $200 to replace. And I was supplying the new windshields.

Safelite replaced my window with great skill and friendliness. They worked with my insurance company to give me a good discount. The workmanship was excellent. The employees have many years of experience to know exactly what to do. I went in to repair a road rock crack and left with much more. I didnt realize how micro chipped my front window had become until the new window was installed. It is a beautiful thing to be able to see clearly out of a perfect window.

First time I came here. They were precise, finished quite fast installing my new windshield which is guaranteed for life, from the work they did only. If I ever have to go back because of a cracked windshield I will come back here.

I live outside of Chicago, but since it was something I didnt want to put off, I was going to be in the area, and the ones by me in the Chicago area were booked solid in the near future I made an appointment here.I had an appointment for 5:30 pm, but became available ahead of that so I was able to take it in and get it done earlier. Service was quick and well done.

National call center making appointments without ever checking for local inventory. Total wasted trip. Can not contact local shop directly. I hope Safelite gets their act together. From now on any glass issues I will only deal with local independent businesses.

Got to me 15 minutes before my appointment. Called when it was done. New windshield with no leaks. Exactly what I was expecting.

We have used Safelite in Rockford on several different occasions for chipped / cracked glass and theyve nailed the repair every time! (I believe one of the keys to success is to get it repaired as quickly as possible after the damage occurs!) On the last one, our daughter was told by someone else shed need a new windshield, but Safelite was able to resolve the issue quickly without a replacement. Fast, efficient, courteous, respectful, clean and cost effective! This is how it should be!! Definitely will be our go-to for anything related to auto glass.

Great service - there was no need to take any time off work. I walked down to open the car before he started, and again at the end when he was finished replacing my cracked windshield about an hour later, and I was able to go to all my boring meetings the whole time and... hmmm. Maybe I should rethink this?

I would absolutely recommend Safelite. They were able to make a rather unpleasant experience (cracked windshield), quick, easy and affordable. The technician, Chad, answered all of my questions and called as soon as my vehicle was ready to be picked up. He was very pleasant to speak with and made sure all my expectations were met. Was even kind enough to vacuum out the car before I got back. I would definitely return to Safelite in the future.

Very happy with my experience at Safelite. I had a badly cracked windshield and they got me scheduled the same day I called. Price was very comparable to other repair shops and it has a lifetime warranty so I decided to chose Safelite. Once I booked the appointment I received a call-back an hour later confirming my appointment and making sure I knew how to get to the shop and they informed me of how long it would take and asked if I had a ride to get back to work. They wery courteous the while time and the final product was installed perfectly. It was a high of 12° today so when I left they made sure to tell me if the cold affects it in the next few weeks that I could bring it back so they could fix it. Awesome service and great quality all the way from these guys.

Technician did not inspect windshield and did not have my sign (or even tell me about) a liability waiver or release. When suction cup was placed on windshield, the knick turned into a full-blown crack. Technician got me and said oops, I made it worse. Technician admitted openly he 1)didnt inspect the site, 2)forgot about the liability release, and 3)forgot to have me sign the liability release. Saving grace is that technician openly admitted this to his manager as well. Am waiting today to hear how Safelite will repair my windshield due to employee negligence.

The red arrow is a zip tie. The install was done on a Saturday. Found the hole on Sunday called the installer on Monday at the number he called me from, it was him on answering machine left message stating who I was what my problem is and no return call since. The following Friday I stopped at the shop off of alpine 30 minutes before close and no one to answer door. I went to advance auto bought a tube of 3m window weld and filled it my self. I was going to drop it but you guys are being a pain with the emails so now Id like my $30 back and please dont tell me the warranty is void because then Ill ask you to come get the window. other than that Im happy
