I saw that it was cheaper if I ordered it on their website, so Chad gave me me that price. There was also a problem with delivery. He found out the issue and resolved it in our favor. We walked in looking for a particular and pricey mattress. We tried it and realized it was not for us. Our sales rep Chad showed us several that were more in line with what we were looking forward. One was super pricey. But it was still not what we wanted. He then showed us one that was half the price. It was exactly what we wanted. It was on sale also. Chad could have steered us into something that didn’t match our needs but instead sold us exactly what we needed even though it meant less of a commission. That told us plenty.

I was very satisfied with the store itself, cleanliness and the wide selection. The wry knowledgeable sales person took a good deal of time to make sure that I ended up with a mattress that meets my special needs. I was also glad to get in on the memorial day sale!

Went to get a new bed for an upcoming move and the whole process was flawless. Chad was a great help and made everything easy.

Chad was an excellent salesman: knowledgeable, intuitive, and helpful! He helped us where we needed it, listened when we talked, and made suggestions based on what we communicated that we wanted. In the end we got a HUGE discount, and I do mean huge. The mattresses were on sale for Presidents Day, and Chad found a mattress that not only met our desires, but was also (on top of the store-wide sale) on sale from the manufacturer. Im certain we absolutely could not have gotten a better deal if we looked at every store in the city!The delivery men were great as well. I received a notice in my email which mentioned that this was curb-side drop-off only, but they carried the mattress and box spring up a flight of stairs and into the apartment bedroom. We all had masks on the entire time. Im extremely happy with the whole experience! It could not have gone better.

The customer service at the Rockford site is UNMATCHED!! I literally wish all of my encounters with companies could go this smoothly. Chad helped me in store, answered all my questions. He got me set up with a new mattress in under 30 minutes (I stopped in on my lunch break. Couldn’t believe it was that smooth). Then I had to make a quick change to my order and called the store a few days later, and Luis handled it with zero problems. Almost like we were old friends and he was doing me a solid. If I could leave 10 stars I would. The most headache-free mattress buying experience lol. Great job guys!

Not happy with my experience with matress firm. Do your search before they convince you to get a certain brand that is not even worth it. My mistake was to just listen to what they think was the right mattress for me.The warranty for mattresses is scam dont even bother. If you get to return your 1st matress, they will count the 120 day free try upon your first purchase not your second, so you ended up losing your opportunity to try it for a full 120 day.I wouldve gotten a cheap online mattress than spend thousands of dollars on a brand not even comfortable.

If I could leave a 0, I absolutely would. I was shopping for a new mattress, I went online and got approved so that I could come to the store and know exactly what to buy - I just wanted to be able to lie on the mattress and make sure it was what I wanted. I went to to State Street location, and there were two people ahead of us. I waited patiently... for a long time. As there were two salespeople, I figured wed get help soon. Another couple came in and immediately received help. Mattress Firm on State Street decided to completely ignore us. Why would they look you right in the eye, knowing youve been sitting on these beds waiting on help and assist the people who just walked into the store? Sorry, but I dont have to beg someone to take my money. I called Mattress Firm corporate, let them know what happened and then was also able to order the mattress set I wanted (it will arrived in a few days). Mattress Firm on State should have helped us, they lost a sale and I promise to tell everyone I work with and my family, that their customer service is subpar. Order directly online, you get deeper discounts and faster service.

The store manager Lewis is unprofessional and dishonest. He told me he checked the warehouse and the mattress HE pushed us to was in stock. I call another location to to see if they had it in store and was told no and they also didn’t have it in the warehouse- the same warehouse as the Rockford store. When I called Lewis out on lying to me about checking the warehouse he tried to say he didn’t say that, then it was “miscommunication” but when I said it wasn’t miscommunication and that he said he checked and it was in stock he changed his story to oh I’m sorry I assumed it was in stock. When I asked for his managers contact info he refused to give it to me saying his manager wouldn’t like a call from someone he didn’t know. He would only say look at my reviews online I have great reviews. His reviews mean nothing to me - he was too lazy to check the warehouse for a mattress and decided to just tell a customer it was in stock. Then refused to take accountability or even try to fix the problem he caused. Called a different location and not only are they getting me in contact with Lewis manger but they instantly wanted to fix the problem, something that Lewis didn’t even offer to do. Avoid this store, all the area locations ship from the same warehouse all the way to the Chicago stores. Go to a store that wants to help their customers

My wife and I went shopping for a new mattress today and stopped in at the Mattress Firm on State Street in Rockford. We were met immediately by Ken the sales person. He was cordial, polite and very knowledgeable . He was not pushy or overbearing and took the time to learn about our sleep habits, usual position and other sleep related questions . It became clear to us that Ken actually cared and was working hard to make sure that he understood what we needed and clued us in on some things we were not aware of. He showed us several options for a mattress and had us be sure to lay down on the beds with pillows he supplied . He first determined that my wife and I both liked the firm mattress . Ken took the time to explain the options, available accessories and it was obvious that he genuinely cared. In today’s world that is becoming more rare all the time . He also made sure that we were aware of any discounts or other savings . My wife and I both felt completely satisfied upon our departure from the store and trusted that what Ken said would be delivered and when surely will be.I almost never write reviews but I felt that a person as attentive and helpful as Ken deserves the recognition and to know that he was really appreciated .
