Jay, the sales associate, was very helpful without being overbearing. My wife and I were able to pick out a couple of recliners that we liked after trying out several on the floor. The price was right and were able to have Slumberland drop them off for free!

This is the 3rd time in 5 months that we have shopped at Slumberland. We have been very pleased with the quality and selection of furniture, the prices, and their service. Debbie assisted us during our first visit, and we have asked for her each time we returned. She is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Debbie does not hover while we look around but remains available should we have a question. We would highly recommend the Rockford Slumberland.

Jay was great at showing me several mattress options and wasn’t pushy when I said that I wanted to “think about it” before purchasing. I went to 3 other mattress stores in Rockford and his customer service approach was the best of all three. That is why I ultimately returned to Slumberland to by a mattress. Purchased a Franklin brand recliner from store January 2/,20. Immediately after purchase the chair didnt set right. 3/20 we had a tech sent out to look at it. Was told it was a factory defect. No matter I had to purchase parts to fix. Chair still doesnt sit correctly. It feels like the right arm is about to fall off. When I spoke with the store I was told because I did not purchase the extended warranty they were unable to repair. I told them it was a factory defect. Why does it matter if I had a warranty? It was a factory defect. I will not purchase anything from them in the future. It is so disappointing that a business doesnt work to fix an issue.

Slumberland is a quality store, no doubt about it. I have made purchases there before. On their Labor Day sales event, I purchased a couple of furniture pieces. My sales consultant, Jeff Komprood, who was very informative and patient, showed me available options in my price range. I think he went way beyond what one would expect in a furniture transaction.

My grandson and I are renting for one year before he begins college. We needed a relatively inexpensive sofa that he could use later after he moved out. We searched many places but found it at Slumberland. Thanks to our pleasant experience, we are now waiting for said sofa to arrive soon. Thsnk you

I came in to find a solution for our loft bed purchased from a different chain with a broken ladder. I really didnt want to get a whole new bed when only the ladder was broken. My daughters been sleeping on the couch so were kinda desperate. The other retailers werent helpful at all. My sales rep found a cute solution -stairs with built in drawers in a finish that nearly matches the original. Awesome experience. Thank you!

Shopped 4 different stores in different cities. This store had the best selection of Lazy Boy recliners. Even more than the Lazy Boy Store about a mile away! The best part is they had an acceptable chair available for a price I wanted to pay. All other stores would not/could not sell me a chair without a 6 to 20 week delay. Sales person provided just the right amount of assistance. Other stores varied from being pushy to outright ignoring me, especially when they discovered I wasnt looking for the high price merchandise!

After two days and multiple visits, my son and I purchased a “rare” sleeper sofa at Slumberland. Every time we entered the store, the employees were very polite. Our salesman, Stephen, was patient, knowledgeable, and he worked diligently to find a product to fit our needs in this strange post-pandemic world. Definitely recommend the Rockford Slumberland store!

I have worked with Steve a couple of times now, once to buy my king size mattress a couple of years ago and then in March to purchase furniture for my new home. He is amazing and makes me feel like Im just part of the family. I never feel pushed and definitely feel like he has my back. I HATE shopping, and furniture shopping is like car shopping, yuck!!! But Steve ran around the store finding me furniture that worked (and then was super honest when it didnt), stayed in my budget, and made the process so much fun! I appreciate his energy and enthusiasm without ever feeling like i was a sale for him.

My wife and I walked into the store with the intentions of just looking at some furniture for our living room. We were met by our salesperson, Steve, who took the time to explain the differences between the various pieces we were looking at. Steve then left us alone to try out the different love seats and couches. It didn’t take us long to decide on what we liked. We ended up ordering both pieces, and walking out of the store completely satisfied. We have made other purchases from Slumberland, and we have never been disappointed with anything that we purchased there. We highly recommend them.

Long story, Recently purchased 2 recliners through Bobs May 2 still hadn’t received them called was told could take up till October so I requested a refund.Called Slumberland ordered 2 recliners and was told I can pick them up on Wednesday!!!!! Literally Wednesday I am so happy plus the gentleman Jay who helped us out was very helpful and made the process so smooth and easy right over the phone. Don’t waste time or money just go to slumberland.

Busy month getting 2 new mattresses.1. First trip was to look for something for my son, for his college apartment. We tried many stores around town, Slumberland rep was helpful, even looking in clearance section for something that would fit his price range, comfort, and was available right away. While we didnt end up getting his mattress there, they were very helpful and came in at the price range he was looking for, he just found a more comfortable mattress elsewhere.2. Second Trip, Mattress shopping for something that both I and my wife would like, so a really tough decision (we have had our current mattress for 12 years and our bodies have changed). I am detailed oriented and a bargain hunter, so I took my wife all over town looking for something that she would find comfortable. We finally settled on a mattress at Slumberland, it took 3 trips to the store (we like to think about things, research, and try out the mattress a couple of separate times, since we are going to sleep on it for a few years) but we finally found the right one. We were still trying to find a frame that met my wifes desires for her wants and needs, we were looking at the Tempurpedic Ergo Smart Extended, but the Glideway Motion 600 actually had additional accessories that sold us on the frame (Extension Kit), if we want most of the smart features we can get the Sleeptracker from Tempurpedic that will do most of the same things except the auto snore adjustments. So dont forget to research if there are accessories for what you are looking for. They actually have a Hi-Lo kit too for people that might have mobility issues, that raises and lowers the bed to help get in. (We didnt need that)Then is was down to the price. Found the mattress cheaper elsewhere and brought in the information. Steve was the man for this one, he help me with the price matching I was asking for and trying to find any other discounts that might apply. Ended up getting the Mattress, Adjustable Bed Frames (ended up needing 2 Twin XL for the extension kit since Glideway didnt sell it in King (they have a Sync cable to the both work together)), protective covers and pillows (some for my other sons bed too).All in all, knowing what we wanted on the 3rd visit, we were there for about an hour, trying the mattress and frame again (brought my youngest son this time), getting the order in, talking the price, and setting up financing.The mattress is going to take 2 months to get here (thanks Covid) but we are not in a rush on this one, like we were the first one, and this year, everything seems to be taking longer due to Covid to get, so time was not a big deal for us.Also we are getting the floor redone in the Master Bedroom so need to get the schedule and finished first before we take delivery.Would definitely recommend Slumberland.Thanks Steve!

We customer ordered a dining set with Slumberland after browsing several stores in Rockford because Jeff was the most memorable and sincere salesperson in the whole shopping process. The set was ordered late Dec and Jeff called 1-2 times to touch base with me the expected arrival date and I appreciated that. It came yesterday which was earlier than expected April and it is beautiful. The service was excellent and Im very happy with the purchase.

Jay was such a warm and welcoming personality and despite having issues with my payment, he was patient and so friendly. The choice of furniture and options are far better than any other furniture store in Rockford. To top it off, the staff gives you suggestions based on your choice, which somehow clicked pretty week for me.I think I’ve not only bought my furniture from the store, I also made a friend at the store( I think Jay was a store manager and I think I appreciate his level of professionalism after visits to other furniture stores) 😆.But yes a definite recommendation for your furniture needs.A A++++ service.

I ordered a new sofa. There’s a delay on inventory but I’m excited to get it. They have a nice selection of beautiful, quality furniture and my aunt has bought furniture from them for years. Great sale on my sofa. Regularly $900, I bought it for $325. It’s so pretty. It definitely will not be my last visit. The employees are friendly and helpful, and not overbearing sales people. Went into Slumberland looking for a bed and a bed frame. I was looking at kitchen tables also and Steve was trying to give me a good discount on my furniture and I came out pretty good deal. I would recommend coming back. Next is I’m going to be looking for a couch

Jay came over and took care of us. We let him know we were there the week prior right before close and he let us explore since we only had ten minutes last week. We ended up landing on two sectionals we really liked, and my wife and finally chose one after Jay gave us amazing space and availability when we had questions.He was extremely patient with our questions seeing as we needed an exact type of measurement and style for our sectional. With the custom order, he set us the expectation of the long delays (thanks, Covid), but at this point we were already well aware of what to expect.Overall, pleasant and professional, plus our four year old enjoyed his friendly company. He showed me a few things, pointed out some promos, and left me to shop and checked in on me periodically, definitely no pressure. Our salesman that day was Jeff - he was patient, knowledgeable, and he helped to get us approved for financing, so that we were able to buy our mattress at no money down and zero interest. The Tempur-Pedic is truly the most comfortable mattress we’ve ever slept on - it’s literally improved our sleep and quality of life. Salesman named Chris helped us, showed us what they had and didnt see anything. Asked if he could show us online. They didnt have it in stock but they had the matching bedroom set so we were able to see the color and construction of the cabinet. Happy with what we saw,ordered the piece and was out in a timely manner. The only drawback was up to sixteen weeks for delivery, damn covid.

I can only give 5 Stars at the moment based on the customer service that was received by the salesman, Jay. He was a no pressure salesman, but super helpful with any and all questions. Delivery time for the item is mid October, but thats not his fault.

My husband and I stopped into our local Slumberland location. Jeff Komprood was very quick to acknowledge us. We were shopping for a foundation for our DreamCloud Premiere mattress. Jeff was knowledgeable was a pleasure to work with.

I had a good time working with these folks. The day we went shopping, they were SWAMPED. Even so, the store manager and assistant manager made sure to greet us, check on us, and make us feel valued. They worked with us to get the price down on a fantastic couch that worked within our budget, and even though I could have probably saved some money buying at a bigger box store, I will continue to return to Slumberland. They treated us well and were honest with us about pricing and timeframes for fulfillment.

Delivery of products months behind what was promised. Order Nov 11th, most recent date give sometime in February. Expected delivery has been pushed back multiple times now. Paid for product in full at time of purchase, take my advice, dont make that mistake just go somewhere else!!! We bought from them as other companies told us it would be later in January they promised sooner. I understand Covid setbacks but dont make promises to customers that you cant keep. Other companies gave us dates that were obviously much more accurate. Wish we wouldve made a purchase somewhere more honest.

I was surprise that an item advertised for Black Friday and there was only one or two items of that discounted price. Not fair because there was a line for a furniture store, wow! Slumberland should should rethink their advertising choice that there should be twenty to thirty of the sale item! I was on line at 6;02 am for a :8:00 am opening. There were many others who waited for the same items behind me, they were truly disappointed!!!
