UPDATE! Due to a lot of miscommunication between everybody we finally got everything fixed. They put in a beautiful carpet and record time, well at least record for me, and its amazing how quick it went in and how pretty it really looks. When you step on it barefoot its like walking on silk! Thank you so much carpetland! (Patrick, sorry it took so long to find this review. I looked everywhere and couldnt get into it.) As you can tell by the photo, even Cootie approved!

Your installation crew arrived this morning in quite a timely manner, called first to confirm. Im horrible with names but those guys were super nice and professional. They went straight to work and stayed on task the entire time. I checked in with them from time to time ( I HATE nosey customers). They worked well as a team. The job was top-notch and I was quite pleased that he took to the time to reach out to you about no mosaic tile and plywood rip-out. I feel the bill was adjusted fairly and accordingly. I had only mentioned that possibility in respect of openness and the extra time they might need allotted. Bad jobs= feedback and so do good jobs. It was a pleasure doing business with all involved at Carpetland!

Can never get anyone to call back on a shotty done floor! They try to blame it on the customer, especially when the original installer quits and now they say it is the customer who should call their homeowners insurance to fix it.

I was waited on and my down payment was taken with no problem. I was told the flooring would be ordered and received in a week. When I called 7 business days later I was told it wasnt in. Now I have called 5 times and left messages. When I do reach the salesman he says he will call me back. Still waiting a week later just to find out if the flooring is in. How long will I wait for installation? I just need my flooring. Contractor is waiting!!!! Results after 1st review.....Thank you Kevin for listening to your customers frustration and promptly getting the installation set up. The carpet installers were right on time and very professional. Very detailed down to sweeping up thoroughly after tear up and vacuuming after install. Very happy with finished look.Went from a 2 star to a 4 star!

Best customer service in a very long time. Alan showed me great carpeting at a special price. All prices INCLUDE padding, installation, and removal of old carpet. I shopped around, on-line and in stores, and I wanted 100% Nylon carpeting. I couldnt find a better price. The installers made everything perfect. Absolutely terrible customer service! Like many others, I have had to always call them for updates. Now I have been waiting for an installation warranty issue to be taken care of for 8 WEEKS!!!! I called for the 6th time a week ago and again, no call back as promised!!! I appreciate Kevin stepping in to help resolve this.

We went in 2 weekends ago to pick out new carpet for 3 bedrooms, hallway, closets and stairs. We worked with Allen who was a great help to us. We had our house measured out almost a year ago and he took the time to find those for us. We just got the carpet today and it looks amazing! The carpet layers who helped us were unbelievably friendly and worked nonstop. Would absolutely recommend!

Quote not received when promised - over a week late and I had to make the follow up call - All I heard was how busy they were - ok, so I went somewhere else (better price) that appreciated new business!Response - Salesman is mistaken - i did select a product. I was told Id be contacted within 24 to 48 hours....a week later and still no calls for an appointment.Looks like they dont care.I called Carpetland regarding a quote for carpeting/laminate for two rooms and our very large rec room and man cave. When I did not received a call back, I wrote a very negative review. Mr. Rose contacted me to correct the issue. Alan Schacht, Flooring Consultant, came for an appointment and we discussed my needs and preference. We set up a meeting at Carpetland to choose carpeting and laminate. Alan was very pleasant, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and, since I was overwhelmed with the huge amount of choices for carpeting, he suggested a carpet and color to fit my needs – which I agreed to.A week later, the carpet installers removed the old carpet and installed the new. These two fellows were extremely courteous, very professional and worked without breaks until everything was completed. They moved furniture, including our pool table and hauled everything away.You cannot beat the quality and the price.I love, love, love my new carpet; the color, the feel and the looks – especially the stairs!!Next week, the laminate will be installed – I’ll a review by the end of next week.

The whole process has been sort of a roller-coaster from start to finish, but I changed my review solely based on how the owner took care of everything and the end product. Some of the issues we had were with the installers, but he promptly fixed the issues and everything looks exactly how we wanted it to now. The flooring is really nice and has a great look to it! If anything goes wrong the owner seems willing to fix any problem or issue you might have and since the owner is willing to go the extra mile that shows a great commitment to the business. I would recommend them for your flooring needs!

I am very happy with my experience at Carpetland. My husband and I had been shopping for carpet for our house for a long time and the original store that we went to said they could not get the carpet we loved for 3 weeks and there was nothing they could do. Something about production and back orders. We stopped by Carpetland one day and they had the same carpet. The salesman that helped us made a few phone calls and was able to get us our carpet and installed in one week!!!!! Everything was installed and turned out wonderful. We are so excited every time we walk into our house to see our new carpet. Its amazing what a little time and dedication can do for a customer. I regret buying my flooring here. Before purchasing my flooring and transitions, my salesman sent a guy to my house to measure and see what transitions I needed. When we went to install the flooring I discovered that they had ordered T molds when the job called for reducers. I called my salesman and it was a struggle but he eventually ordered reducers. When the replacement transitions came I knew as soon as I opened the box they were the wrong reducers. I called my salesman and told him which ones I needed. He lied and said Shaw ( the brand of flooring I purchased) no longer made the reducers I needed. I spent over $5000 on this project so you can imagine how upset I was when I drove to Lonnies on Riverside and they promptly ordered the correct reducers for me and I had them in 5 days. I needed 5 reducers and the salesman at Lonnies showed me that dealer cost was around $35 a reducer. Carpet Land was willing to let a customer go to their competitor and repurchase something they got wrong over chump change. Also I ended up with 5 boxes of extra flooring. Way more than I needed.They will never get my business again.

In the last month-and-a-half, we have made two flooring purchases from Carpetland Rockford.The first purchase was carpet for the upstairs and the second being hardwood for the downstairs.From our sales person, Allen, to the two different groups of installers, we couldnt be happier. Ill be honest I dont usually do this but there are times when service excellence needs to be acknowledged.A close friend recommended carpetland in early June. I was going to go with a box store due to pricing and the fact that I had a card with them.Carpetland matched the price and then beat them. That might have been enough but then came the service.I had tight deadlines, days in fact to get my old carpet removed and new carpet in before my furniture arrived.Their staff was very professional and clean. They wore booties and cleaned up after themselves.I was more than pleased with the service, and the quality of my carpet and padding.I highly recommend this company!

I was recommended to Carpetland by a friend of mine who just had her entire main floor replaced. She was so happy with her experience with Carpetland and her sales person Becki that she recommended me to contact them for my own flooring project. When I reached out to Becki she was very prompt with getting back to me on any questions I had. We purchased 650 square feet of LVP Cortec flooring which I needed within the week as we were laying the flooring ourselves with my brothers help who who does not live in the area but does this for his own employment. I was on a tight schedule. As promised the flooring arrived at Carpetland on time. I was very impressed with the customer service and follow through that Carpetland offered. I was tended to immediately walking into the store and the employee had answers to all my questions and more about potential carpet and tile for my remodeling my home. The job was executed perfectly and they installers were very friendly.

Went in a couple of weeks ago and spoke to Patrick who was great at answering our questions and showing us the various products. We brought samples home decided on what we wanted and then returned a few days later, when we went back we were then told we would no longer be dealing with Patrick but now with Jeff. Jeff is very arrogant and just down right rude, we gave the go ahead to come and do the measurements. The guy came and did the measurements a couple days later and we were informed we would here from Jeff within a couple of days. It has now been a week ago and we havent heard a word. Needless to say I wont be doing any business with this company due to a rude and just disrespectful employee and then not to have the decency to call a customer back is just ridiculous. Im surprised this place is still in business if this is how they treat customers.

I cant really comment on the products, but the service here is horrible!! That is why I cant comment on the products because I took my business elsewhere. I tried MANY times to give them my business, but numerous phone calls were never returned. I then tried to go in to the store and got nothing but attitude and was told that my original salesman would call me first thing the next day. Here we are 3 days later and I STILL have not received a call. Apparently customer service is not your number one priority. So I went somewhere else, have already placed my order, and will never consider your place of business again for anything! Its alright though, because I ended up finding great customer service, and a better price!!
