This place needs more workers or workers that know how to do more than one job. There was only one worker at the back counter and many customers. The other workers were just standing around doing nothing. The wait was so long that I had to take my business elsewhere. Been here many times for decades, but now taking my money elsewhere. Hope you fix this before its to late.

Employees extremely friendly and try to help however the can they deserve 5 stars but other then that. My experience with receiving a desk been nothing but horrible. No one could get a hold of the shipping company. On top of that the shipping company kept pushing the delivery date back. If and when possible make sure you buy something in store.

Thank you for laminating the covid cards.However, when mine was done this morning (4-7-2021 about 11AM) The label area (bottom) of my card was black and unreadable.The reason it is black is because when the label was printer it was done on a thermal printer. You are using heat to finish the lamination, the heat from the laminator is turning the label black. They used thermal labels to print the data.I gave a 2 to thank you for trying to help. I dont want you to damage anymore covid cards.

This place is amazing but hidden from view with very friendly helpful staff especially in the printing department. Since ive been filing federal rights cases, up until recently I used Kinkos down the street. This place should give Kinkos lessons on how to treat customers in a Covid world. If you are older or require assistance with your printing needs this is the place to be in Rockford. Thanks Jessica, Bree and Store manager Dan who unlocked early to let me in on a cold February morning while im under a deadline on a emergency filing.Thanks again.

I had ordered some folders in bulk for an upcoming event, and that is where things went south.1. They ordered them in separate orders...not sure why.2. One package was sent to work address, when I only discussed sending them to my home address or pick up in store (if that option is quicker). I never game them a work address.3. My wife called and they were rude telling her what package? and if you ordered a package, we will call you when its ready4. I just called because we still have heard nothing (I was told it would be ready by 12 pm Friday. It is now 4:45 on Friday) I was talking with a gentleman who said nothing, suddenly put me on hold, and then hung up.In conclusion. I am here with half an order, no answer to where the other half is or why it was sent the way it was. I have never dealt with a company that has handled a situation so poorly and on top of it display such a disgusting attitude to assist. I will be calling corporate and I will no longer conduct business with Office Max, or any of their affiliates.

Great sales going on for back to school shopping. This store is clean and organized. Customer service is great, friendly staff. I love the fact that at the register you are asked if you would like to donate a school item to children in need and they have three options of items kids need for school ranging from one to four dollars... always happy to help

Went to office max to print 5 color copies. The gal behind the print counter was rude and short tempered. I appreciate good customer service and will go elsewhere next time because of how I was treated. Went there again today only because I didnt know where else to find what I needed. Once again, poor service. I checked out and then saw a 20% off coupon at the check out. I said is this good today? Cashier said yes. I said why didnt you offer me the coupon. No response. I said, please refund me 20% of my purchase. Cashier did so but honestly, why not offer the consumer the coupon thats laying on your counter. Geez!!

I went to OfficeMax in Rockford, Il when I needed to buy mailing envelopes and then ship two items. The store associate made an error when filling out the Fed Ex shipping forms, and both items when to one of my customers. When I returned to OfficeMax, I received a sincere apology, a refund on the shipping and the mailer I had bought, and a gift card. I felt they went far above and beyond and would not hesitate to shop there again.

Went to Rockford IL State st. Store to purchase a lateral file advertised in Sunday paper as sale pice $119.99. I was told they didnt have in the warehouse. I asked if I could purchase the floor sample and was refused.It seems to me that was very strange and certainly not reasonable.The ad was the day before I went in. Not very customer friendly for certain. My past experience with Office Depot had been favorable, but I was not expecting the lack of satisfaction received.

I buy a bit off the website, and recently bought a couple 24 LG monitors. Come to find out they were listed wrong on the website and I actually ordered tvs. I called the 800 number, and they told me to bring them to the store. The store told me they can not take the return since they wont be able to resell them. Shipping them back came with a whole other set of headaches, but based on how difficult it was to get these returned, I probably will not do business with them anymore.

Office Max is the go-to place if you need office supplies, and want more than the basic selection that is provided at Walmart/Target. They have all kinds of things to organize your office, and a selection of pens, pencils, ink for your printer, desk furniture and everything in between. This location is on the end of a large plaza, and its always convenient to park here. The store itself feels like it hasnt been updated in many years, so feels somewhat 2000, but you cant beat the selection. Prices are mediocre, and youll end up paying more than Walmart/Target, and the checkout process can be slower than it needs to be, but its typically not very crowded.

I tried to return a Duracell 6t cord Item ; # 490499 for IPhone 7 as it kept slipping the connection & I would here the ping on off; so suggest not to buy it, it was so irritating hearing the noise knowing it was going on and then off; it does not work.The Manager; Dan was there when the clerk said it was this one as she pointed to the DU lower price item of the two cords I had purchased; however I didnt see which one she had pointed to; showing the manager because the computer was not taking the refund.I stated that it was a different item on my receipt when the refund FINALLY after a long wait went through. I said it was $14.99, but both said it was not, when the register rang up my refunded amount is when I noted it and the other cord was $9.99; and they refunded; only $7.99 or the amount they were only willing to refund; and I challenged that amount. Dan stated, Oh the computer kicked out the other $2.00, so I will have to give you $2.00 cash, and then I had to remind him about the tax too.Seriously, not only the technology about the cashier register computers not connecting having to wait so long, and now this; I am standing there going through this & since I purchased a higher ticketed price for over $160.00 on that same receipt.I got zero; I mean not one apology of; I am so sorry, for this wait. It never even entered their minds to say that to me. All that was said; the problem is the computer connection; and began with; Well, you understand why they are taking so long; in a snarky tone. I did not understand, as they need to get that fixed. I was upset, as all they gave were excuses.This is how you get treated for a none functioning merchandise return. No accountability of selling crap, but a plethora of excuses. Here is the most ridiculous of all, they wanted my drivers license when I had a valid receipt; which I refused. & stated, what if I didnt have one? I said this has happened before and they used a government ID, but not my Drivers license, NO! I had to remind them about Target.The manager used his own license. What store requires your drivers license when you paid with a CC? I told him I purchased it with my CC not my drivers license. I stated, This is so alarming and you are scaring me away.I have been a customer since these stores opened Depot/Office Max, but I will not step back in those doors again. Not ONE; not one apology of I am sorry from either the delay or the item being a piece of crap. All I heard was it is the computer, you can understand when it is technology. Truly I cannot, when other stores do not have this situation on a refund.When I got home tonight, and looked it up on their website, and compared the item number and the cloth/purple cord, [as I had kept saying as I went about my chores], I know I am right, but why would they defy me.There it was on my receipt the same item number; it was $14.99, how absurd to argue with a customer; they cheated me out of my refund by $5.00; BEWARE! Will they do that to you?If all refuse to show personal information used and have their identity in their system; to be subjected to identity theft; theyll have to change their policy!Get your crappy computer connection fixed to, and train your people to listen to the customer, as they just may be right; as well a bit of manners for the manager.Lisa answered the phone tonight, and it is time for Dan to go some place else; and Lisa to take over; she has manners & sounds as if she cares. I hope she keeps her word to me; to make this right!. Corporate needs a letter on this!
