Place is very run down. Not even closing the doors for the garbage bins. Lovely view as you pull up for the drive thru. Service is slow! Not unusual to be in line for 20 minutes to get a couple of ice teas. The people are very nice but dont seem to be in any hurry. Theyll hold up a whole line for one order instead of asking them to move forward and serve the people behind. Even the open sign out on Perryville is tattered. We go almost every day after my hubby leaves work.

The girl was nice but seemed stressed looked as though she was alone working not sure if that was the case. Was disappointed due to the fact we got a shake that you couldnt even drink because it was such hard ice cream. Also got a strawberry cheesecake blast with extra strawberry and 90% of it was vanilla ice cream. So i paid extra for no reason.

The food was fresh and good. It did take a while beforewe got our food even though they didnt seem busy. But Id rather that and have fresh food!

Horrible experience! The food was frozen call, we literally had to throw away everything. They do not have enough personnel so I think that is one of the problems. I dont plan in returning any time soon

This place is run down, weeds growing everywhere, how hard is it to do simple landscape or hire someone too make it look decent. Most of the pull in ordering things are closed or broke or destroyed. Machine for blasts never work.

Went to get the advertising item of Banana Pudding shake for my Birthday treat the Sonic in Loves Park. Was out of all ingredients since I traveled from Janesville, WI I then called the sonic in Cherry Valley they had the ingredients so I rushed there to try there shake It was Super Delicious. Great Staff at both locations and great Onion rings too.

Idk man. The burger was great but everything else was meh. Oversalted fries, out of bananas for the banana shake, crispy chicken out so a friend had to settle for grilled instead. The trash was overflowing and landscaping wasn’t nice (looked bad and has garbage from patrons of the restaurant scattered around). The strangest part of this establishment was the outdoor “patio”. Not only was there a can of ant spray laying around on a table, but there was this weird HUGE weed growing out of what was supposed to be a trash can. I won’t be back.

Wanted a slushie kept saying oh you want Oceanwater? I said no I wanted a Blue Coconut Slush.Bring order out its still an Oceanwater.

Just got in line for a drink. Drive thru was agonizingly slow. One of those instances where the lead car should have pulled up to wait, but they didnt happen. Slush was good though.

The outside eating area is dirty and gross. The machine you order from is broken. We werent sure how to even order. Wait time was quite awhile. Then our drinks were all flat. Apparently they ran out of c02 and they said they would bring me a lemonade and they never came back out until I was leaving and told me they were just making the lemonade. I told them forget it and left. Garbage overflowing could barely fit our garbage. Wont be returning.

Actually only a rest room stop. For a public restroom condition was not bad. Fairly clean no smell. Public sure is messy toilet paper all over the floor, (not sonics fault)

Everything was cold except for the Philly steak. It tasted like I was drink a bucket full of oil with a little meat in it. The burger patties were very thin and cold as well. I will never go back there again. I purchased me a second meal just to be disappointed even more.

Couldnt order anything because there wasnt anywhere to park the car. Ive been to Sonics before and this one was the saddest excuse for one.

This new staff is ok. Still not very sanitary touching the inside of cups and touching the inside of the lids but the attitudes are better then the previous staff. I almost gave up on sonic from the staff and poor customer service. But they are still slow!!!!!!! It takes about 35 -45 minutes in drive through. Like, tell people to pull to the side if their meal will take forever. They also need a better way to house the long coney dogs or chilli cheese dogs the wrapper pulls all the toppings off the hot dog when you slide it out the wrapper. I be mad every time I order them so I avoid it. Get styrofoam containers like daugh.... Its not a rocket science. Frfr

MY WIFE N I STOPPED BY THIS SONIC TODAY N ATE OUTSIDE. 1ST N FORMOST WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS PARTICULAR SONIC EVER. THE OUTSIDE DINING AREA WAS FILTHY N NASTY AS SAME FOR LANDSCAPING.WEEDS GROWING UP THRU THE ROCKS, STAINS OR DRIED UP SPILLS ALL OVER CONCRETE. THE FOOD WAS FREAKN COLD. ID SAY IF CORPERATE WOULD COME VISIT THIS SONIC N ORDERED FOOD N LOOK AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY WOULD PROLLY FINE THE OWNERS OR SHUT THIS NASTEY PLACE DOWN. KNOW I WOULD.IDK BEEN TOO MANY MANY SONICS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY N THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST ONE EVER. VERY DISAPPOINTED A FOOD FRANCHISE AS GOOD AS SONIC WOULD ALLOW A PLACE TO GET THIS BAD...

When I think of Rockford this place gives accurately representation of it.

At this location, in Rockforf IL, food was ok, need the quality as other Sonic Fast food places, cant park a pick up truck in the area to order food space is to small, this needs training and a rebuild of parking lot.

I will not return to the Rockford Cherryvale location. Went through the drive thru during happy hour and speed was fine... but i was sick looking at the dirty drive thru window, spider webs near the window and how much trash was all over outside. If they dont take care of the outside appearance, can you image what the inside looks like where they prep the food and drinks!!

Food was good, quick, and reasonably priced. Always a great stop when Im in the area.

Today I placed a drink through their app for 2 beverages only to be told in the drive though I had to park and confirm the order w the app. Once parked I pushed the order button to pick the drink order up, told to use the app, the app kept glitching w an error. This then led to which stall we were parked in. They are painted above the cars so you can’t see this when parked. The app never allowed me to go farther and kept saying try again later/ask car hop for help. The 3rd time I pushed the order button someone was very short yelling use the app when I was trying to pick my order up and that the app wasn’t working. I ended up leaving without my drinks. I was charged for them which pisses me off I will never return and hold a life long grudge over a $4 drink that couldn’t be brought to the car that I paid for and never got!!! Ridiculous!!!

I prefer this Sonic than the other one in town. Tonight I had a Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster with Chili Cheese Tots and a Tigers Blood slushie. The Toaster was well put together and didnt fall apart while I ate it. The tots were hot and had a good amount of sauce and cheese. The slushie was the same as at the other Sonic. My daughter had a hot dog with mustard, and fries. The mustard want too heavy and she ate her hotdog eagerly. The fries were gone right away. All together I had less trouble with messiness of food.

Yummy coney dog, chocolate med malt filling. Took 2 days to finish.

The cherry limeade was descent this time the last couple of times it wasnt sweet but their food has always been good😀

Really not thrilled to receive cold fries and lukewarm chili cheese footlong. If it takes 7 minutes to cook a chicken, 1 on either side to put it in and take it out... why cook a 3 minute piece and (literally) less than 15 second piece at minute 1?

Ordered #1 combo, NO cheese with ONLY ketchup lettuce and mayo.Clearly see in the photo this is NOT what I got. And my receipt clearly shows what I ordered. The burger was fully loaded with all the toppings. Plus cheese.So aggravating. I now have no lunch to eat.....Thanks for ruining it Sonic cook....

I went to Sonic about a month ago and had the toaster cheese burger. I was really surprised how good this hamburger was. So tonight I decided to stop to get this same hamburger and I have to say I took 3 bites and thru it away. The bread wasnt even toasted, the meat was half out of the bread and it just did not taste good. I was very disappointed and will not go back. I also want to add the onion rings I ordered were black and I mean black they were burnt.

Delicious as always! The soft pretzel twists are my absolute fave as they are the perfect mix of crunchy outside and chewy inside. The rest of my family chose different flavored sonic blasts and as far as sizes go in relation to costs, out of this world. Less than $6 for a large blast which is more icecream than anyone can fathom after a nice filling dinner. We love coming here and cant recommend it enough!

When I come here I always order drinks at happy hour and they are always good 😄. Some of the employees in the drive thru are quite rude which is why I rate it 4 stars. Usually when I go there is a nice young man or a sweet young lady who are always polite and helpful, but some of the others really need to learn some manners 😐

Ive bn here about 2 times total and both times i enjoyed my food but they got the order wrong when i asked for certain toppings/condiments. ill be back though i still highly enjoyed the food and they were very speedy and good customer service for how busy they were.

Rude managers and employees I ordered simple drinks and a meal the girl comes very slow on her phone with her mask down under chin and all rude saying here’s your food.I looked at her confused because she only brought me one drink a my sandwich with one order of monzzerella sticks but I put 2 oders plus 5 other drinks. They really need to find people that are less rude and are willing to work!

Ordered a diet cherry limeade. I rarely treat myself this way as I am diabetic, but the diet cherry limeade is low enough in sugar that I occasionally will hit up a Sonic for happy hour. Today I did just that and after a few sips I had to have my husband try it.... surprise! My large diet limeade wasnt so diet! I ended up having to pitch it. Totally waste and a real bummer. Its a good thing I can tell the difference between the full sugar and the diet. Luckily its not dangerous for me, but for someone with more serious sensitivity it could have been a serious problem! Diet MEANS diet, folks.

I understand that they were busy, but that doesn’t give her the right to act like that because she made a mistake. Husband and I have never been to a sonic before so we got a lot of food. After ordering 2 combos the lady gave us our total to which we told her we weren’t done ordering. Got 2 double cheese burgers, 2 classic chicken sandwiches and a pork tenderloin. Waited over 10 minutes for food and when we got our food it was kinda warm and WAY over cooked. Everything was dry, would have been better off waiting in McDonalds crazy long line. Work on your customer service and tell your cooks to pay attention to the grills and fryers.

Not directly accessible from the road, long wait in drive up, got special order wrong, had the runs the next day.

The service was lousy, it took 35 minutes to get our order and it was still wrong!

The food was good, but the service was slow. I sat in a stall for 5 minutes after pushing the red button and ended up just going through the drive thru, which still took a while. I dont think they had enough people working at the time, and a simple explanation of that or an apology for being delayed would have gone a long way.

We were not happy. I asked for no tomatoes on my sandwich and there was a tomato. We ordered 2 lg cherry limeade and only got 1, got the other one after calling the girl back to the car. There was no bacon on my sons bacon double cheeseburger. This was a simple order the only thing special was the no tomatoes. We will not be coming back.

I havent been to a Sonic in years and Id have to say it was very good. The food was delicious. I had the chili cheese tots and the double bacon burger and man was I stuffed

Acknowledge the customers and people might give better reviews. Food good but if you act like Im not there my money not good enough for this location
