So far my time at Eastern Tire was sublime. They have not performed any work on my vehicle yet, but from how I was treated during the estimating process, they will have a chance to soon. My appointment was honored on time. The estimate of what my car needs was clear. And the price seems fair. One of the necessary repairs needed to pass the Maine State Inspection was outside of the scope of the work they perform. For that part of the job they gave me a great referral. After Eastern Tire does there thing, I’ll write another review to let you all know how it turns out. Oh, by the way, very comfortable and clean waiting room. I found it hard to leave on yesterday’s hot day.

I recently went here to get my brakes repaired, tires and oil changed, as well as an inspection. They were exceptionally helpful, had very fair rates both on equipment and time, and overall went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this place.

In from out of town, and I caught a nail in my tire on my way here. My car had tires that they did not have in stock when I looked online. They happily ordered me a new tire, and it was there in less than 24 hours. I drove in on Friday afternoon, and was on my way spending less than an hour there. Wonderful service, as they even remembered my name from the previous day. Highly recommend this place for your automotive needs.

I was caught in a real bind driving my sprinter van up to Maine and these nice folks put air in my tires, inspected, changed oil, and suited me up with new washer blades. They fit me in. They were so so kind. The waiting room was spacious and clean. The entire team was outstanding and I’m incredibly grateful- if you’re local or just passing thru, this is a great trustworthy place of knowledgeable and kind people who are incredibly helpful. Had a blowout on route 1 and had to get towed many miles to civilization. On top of that had to find the one place MID COAST that had my specific run flat tire.Aaron’s shop was the ONE place that managed to get the LAST run flat tire on the eastern seaboard!!!Godsend! I recently visited the area from Vermont. Before leaving, I had a local mechanic check out my car for the squealing sound I’ve been hearing, to make sure my drive to Maine would be safe. They found nothing. I took it to Eastern Tire on the recommendation of my hosts, and they said my rear brakes were metal to metal. Even though their schedule was tightly packed, they fit me in and repaired my brakes. I didn’t have much time left in the area and needed to get home soon. I am so grateful to them for servicing my car on such short notice, during a really busy time for them. Jessica is so professional, friendly, and efficient. I’m so happy that I found Eastern Tire. I started my search online for tires for my 2013 Winnebago Sightseer. A major National tire source didn’t have the size. The top brand in this category were $900 more expensive than what I paid, and I could not find a source that I liked. A search for Toyo Tires led me to Eastern. Alvin answered all my questions before and after the sale. I haven’t driven far enough to offer an opinion on the ride. I am very pleased with the service.

Eastern was a top notch business from the phone, front desk to technicians. While on vacation we picked up a nail and woke up to a flat and only had a donut. The first place we went said they couldn’t get us in until the next day, calling over to Eastern they assured me they’d be able to help me out even with their full schedule of appointments. I got in there and they took a look to see if it was repairable or if a full replacement would be needed. We walked over to downtown rockland and had lunch and they had the tire repaired and even put all the spare tire and tools away and neatly buttoned it up before we were even done eating. Jess and, forgive me if it was not his name, Aaron were great and if you’re a local or just visiting the area and need help this is the only place I’d go. Having family here and visiting often means it’s peace of mind to know there’s a shop you can trust.

Wheel bearing replacement. 2nd failure since original replacement 18 months ago. They use parts from Auto-Zone (not sure of the quality of parts). “ Excellent customer service “! They definitely took good care of me but, even though the part was under warranty the labor costs are expensive especially when you recently replaced the part to begin with.

To be fair, its been over twenty years since I was a customer here but the attitude and high prices I endured seem like yesterday. The final straw was the day the owner yelled at me (they had opened a branch in Union, which failed, BTW. No surprise there) because I asked if they could do limited work on my Mazda brakes. Granted a legitimate point was to be made about doing a complete job ( I am an electrician and I have many conditions I must express to a customer at times) but the outburst by the owner was unforgettably rude and insulting. This attitude was always my impression at Eastern Tire and he cemented it that day.

As a long time repeat customer my experience yesterday with Eastern Tire was excellent. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. My scheduled alignment began right on time and was completed at the approximate time. All staff members were masked and the waiting area followed Covid guidelines.

At 2:30 pm I arrived with a problem that meant I couldnt keep driving (right front wheel making loud noise). By 4 pm Eastern Tire had fixed problem with new front brake pads and rotors. The service and friendliness at Eastern Tire & Auto Service Inc is just as good as it was 45 years ago! We had an unexpected problem with our car over the weekend so left it in their parking lot. It was fixed early Monday. We sincerely appreciated the prompt service that was given.

The service was excellent.

My tires were badly damaged by a ferry ride to Islesboro. I had family issues that required a fast return home. The island garage and the Camden garage could order a replace the tire but were not able to say when that tire would arrive. What to do?I found Jessica at East Tire and I heard the same answer, “We will have to order that tire.... it will be here by 2:00 today.” Elated and relieved I said “Yes!” And started loading my car up. While loading my car I discovered the back tire also had significant damage. I needed two tires. I called Jessica back and heard an easy “No problem.”If you need tires. If you need to get home. This is where you can call because they will get the job done and point you and your teenage son towards a roadside lunch that he will thoroughly enjoy!Tires are just tires until you need them..... if you need them, get them here.

Great shop that stands behind their work. I had requested Run Flat tires, but order mistake ended up with regular tires. I did not realize until after 10K miles on the tires. Came back in and they made right and swapped out with correct tires, no questions asked. Now that is customer service!! Way to take a potentially bad situation and win over a new customer. All future tire purchases will be made at Eastern.

They are very a busy garage, and yet treat every customer like they matter. While I waited, I overheard them go the extra mile for a variety of customers: from the elderly man who wanted to talk about his routine service, to the the teen who didn’t know how to describe the noise her car was making, to the woman with no appointment but an overheating car. They helped them all quickly, efficiently, and professionally, while answering the phones and getting folks out the door. Very impressive!
