Just got our 10x16 garden shed from Backyard Unlimited in Auburn. These people know what they are doing. Jerry handled the initial sale; Albert did the site visit; Mel installed the concrete piers; Brent communicated about some construction issues and scheduled the delivery; and Marv delivered and installed the shed. Each was professional and pleasant to deal with. We couldnt be more pleased with the entire process and the end result. We will be painting it to match our house.

I was interested in adding two new pavilions as part of our new backyard redesign. Nathan at Backyards Unlimited was extremely knowledgeable in helping me choose the right structures and options. On the day of installation the crews arrived early and installed both structures that same day. Marv the foreman was extremely professional and polite and answered all questions I had during the install. The whole process went smoothly and I can recommend this company without reservations.

They have good structures they build, but the people that work there are not the best group of people.

Purchased a custom pavilion from Backyard Unlimited. They were very flexible as we added and deleted items from the “standard” pavilion as we were intending to customize it after installation anyway. The base pavilion is made of quality materials and was a pretty straight forward installation. We’ve since added our own custom stain, concrete tile roof, Stone fire place and additional stone work.

Very happy with my shed. I gave them the measurements that I wanted and realized the following day that I wanted to make a correction. I called them and they happily made the correction. Everything was done the way they said it would be and when they told me it would be. When the crew arrived, they had to work at getting the pieces around some obstacles, but they acted like it was no big deal. Everyone from start to finish was courteous and professional. The product is quality and so are the people .

Very nice sheds. We ordered 2 sheds and had them installed a few weeks ago. The installers were polite and did a good job. The sheds are very nice and include a lot of nice touches that aren’t on other companies sheds. Very glad we went with these.

Let me start off by saying that I am extremely particular when it comes to quality and details. The shed that I designed and ordered was by no means the most inexpensive one I could find on the Internet. When I signed the contract and submitted the down payment everything went exactly on the schedule as I was told. When the crew arrived, it took them about six hours to assemble the shed and there were no flaws in the fit and finish. It looks as good as any of the pictures on their website. I am very satisfied and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

My experience with Backyard Unlimited was fantastic! From start to finish, they were great. Most of the process was done via email, and every time I had a question, I got a quick response. Yet, there was no hard sell. Theyve got a good product; a product that sells itself.Because I wanted to see the actual product before making my decision, I drove out to their facility in Vacaville, where again I had a pleasant experience. I wasnt rushed or pushed into any particular choice -- they wanted to do what would work best for us. In the end, we chose the 12 wood-reinforced vinyl model, with metal roof, electricity, cupola, and screen package. The gazebo is lovely and the price was even pretty good -- a great value for the money.And when it came time to install, the team that came out were on time, efficient, friendly, and polite. They knew what they were doing and in record time we had a new gazebo. I would highly recommend this company if youre looking for a gazebo.

I had them build a shed for my father on a property near Auburn and the whole process was as easy as could be. Nathan helped throughout, from picking the appropriate shed to coming out and making sure the site was suitable to the actual installation. It even came in a touch under the estimated price.I couldnt be happier with the results and, more importantly, my father is loving his new shed.

Just got my craft studio built (12x14, her name is Clarissa). Im looking so forward to fixing up the inside. They did a wonderful job, came out in 32 degree weather and finished late in the evening in 32 degree weather! And its now been raining on her for a few days and NO LEAKS. So, so far so good. Everything from the first call I made to Jerry W a few weeks ago through today when the custom shed was completed was a great experience. Highly recommend them. Very organized, prompt (Jerry came to our house the same day I called him, gave us an estimate, discussed all the options), and the guys that constructed it were very courteous, clean, did an outstanding job. Before they left, they made sure I was happy and asked if I had questions, and then shortly after they left got a call from John checking on the project, did I have any questions/issues/etc. Fantastic experience and we are extremely happy with the custom shed. My wife and I first saw the Backyard Unlimited products at the Cal Expo Home and Garden Show last January, and was impressed with the variety of designs and quality of construction. We decided on the 10 x 12 garden shed model, and was able to choose the type of siding, window and door configuration best suited for the style of our home and planned location of the structure. Our experience with delivery and setup was very positive, having watched an experienced 3-person crew completing construction in one day. Most gratifying was inspecting the structure upon completion and being reminded of the high quality of both materials and construction.Anyone considering construction of an out building should make Backyard Unlimited a first stop.

I ordered a 120 square foot storage barn with a high roof and lots of built in shelving. I am completely delighted with the result. It is beautiful and very solidly built. They may cost a little more but they deliver a very high quality product and the service is great.

Had a fantastic experience with this company! They are located right down the street from me and passed them everyday when I go to work, so when I was in the market for a pergola, I popped in and worked with Nathan on pricing and scheduling. He told me how he started the company and the Amish styled products he learned when living in Pennsylvania. The finished product looks amazing and they literally had the whole thing installed in under 3 hours! Couldnt be happier and will be recommending them to friends and family!

Nathan was our main point of contact from the review to the building permits to the final inspection, couldnt have built a better building myself... I am a woodworker by hobby and love building stuff .. but i just didnt have the time to build one .. because of my new job ... they where flexible on the size.. i went from 66 wall to 8 walls and added another door on the side of our building and adjusted its size also for my height (63 man)... My Shed size was 16x24 great size for my hobby .. Backyard Unlimited met Sac building code with no problem ... the material they used is better than other shed manufacturer companies. My neighbors have came by saying they loved the shed ... I would say to anyone that is interested in building a great shed, then BackYard Unlimited is your company!

Backyard unlimited and install crew did an outstanding job installing our dogs kennel. It was so well made and actually looks like a smaller version of our house with yellow and white trim. Arnie, our 15 year old Cocker Spaniel, is having the time of his life enjoying the indoor outdoor run portion of cottage and has a great view of our yard from open air pen portion of dog house kennel. We had backyard Unlimited build us a 10x12 Victorian cottage last Jan. 2013.They showed up on time, the workers were very polite, they cleaned up everything along the way, they were excellent craftsmen !We love our Victorian cottage and we would recommend them to everyone !

Like others, I checked out Brand “T”, but I didn’t like its appearance. I was looking for something that fit in with our home’s color scheme and that we could look at with pride. We visited the Backyard Unlimited showroom in Vacaville and were immediately impressed with the look, feel and the obvious high quality of construction. We ordered the “Barn” style shed with the added loft and ramp, and also had them match the two-tone color of our house.The shed was installed yesterday, and we are as pleased with what we got as we were with the samples in Vacaville. Backyard Unlimited staff was helpful and provided excellent communication throughout the process. The installation team was equally courteous and efficient, they bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule, the construction quality is excellent, and they left the site spotless. We paid more than we might have for brand “T”, but it is worth it. I’m very pleased and could not ask for more.

We had a fire that totally destroyed our garden shed and chicken coop. We found Backyard Unlimited on line and visited their Auburn location. The buying experience was great --- no pressure --- quite the contrary they bent over backwards to get us exactly what we wanted. And we were fussy about design and colors!When it came to delivery and installation, they were right on time and professional. Both the shed and coop were ready by the end of the day and were show-room perfect. The installers even went so far as to leave the site cleaner than they found it.Great job by a great company!
