Great produce selection! Store is clean and well kept. I was impressed with the attention of staff cleaning and keeping things well stocked. I no longer live in the area but was visiting on a business trip and decided to stop in, I was very pleased. Thank you all for keeping the store stocked and most of all clean.

The sashimi was arranged in a way that made it look like a lot more than there was. $20 for mostly vegetables and thin slices of salmon. Will not buy sashimi there again.

I have not always consistently shopped here, but I like being able to get some vegetables harder to find at other grocery stores, along with the Asian foods they sell. It does not hurt that the prices are good, it definitely helps a newly vegan as myself. When I walked in the other day I noticed that it was a lot cleaner than in the past and things were organized a lot better than before. I think they even changed the signage, making it more streamlined. I will definitely have to come in more often, I appreciate that they are taking pride in their store!

Parking lot can be a bit tight at times, but Ive always found a spot to park, even if its a bit further away. Variety is a bit mediocre but gets the job done. Fresh veggies and fruits are awesome, theres some non food items if you need (pans, facial stuff, etc.). I really like the sushi in the store, and theres a small selection of pre made Korean food usually. Lines can get long, but move quickly. I also really like the small tent in front that freshly make filled fish-shaped buns and other goods! Dont think its opened all day every day, but definitely a fun ending to grocery shopping.

Lotte is one of the best places to shop for Asian geocery. It is a one stop place for Korean, chinese, Japanese and even Indian snacks. 😀Update July 2, 2021: Few kinds of Indian snacks mixtures ( from 3 full shelves down to half a shelf ) in the Rickville location.

Good place for fish and vegetables. Excellent collection of koren foods including ramen, noodles, soya suaces. Just check the expiration date because some products have short expirey dates. Meet or Poultry section is also nice. Huge collection of frozen asian foods. There is also section for Indian food, South American food

The store is very good for vegetables. I did not enjoy fruits to buy from this store. Any time I do I regret. The only place so far to buy fruit is this store for me.

Ive grown 2 really appreciate Lotte 4 the relatively hard-2-find produce from all over but I also like how they provide products from different areas of the world like Chile or Peru. Its a nice sized market so 1 should be able 2 find what theyre looking 4.P.S. Please get in some ajicito dulce peppers. Would really appreciate it.

Good selection of Japanese foods, prices not as good as Hmart.

I have been to numerous Lotte stores up and down the Eastern seaboard. This one by far is the very worst out of them all. ABSOLUTE WORST. Old vegetables and meat. If I could give it zero stars I would. Awful staff. Heres an advice to the proprietors, hire Asians to run this entire store because they know how to work. Please for the love of God turn your store upside down, sanitize and really clean it. Train your current staff the basics on human decency. They dont seem to know how to act like civilized human beings.

A lot of produce my friend buys here is rung incorrectly (always charged for a similar-looking, but more expensive item). Customer service will try to convince you that you picked up the more expensive one. They cant tell the difference between their produce and seem to have tunnel vision toward the price tag they want to see. Taking a picture of the tag you saw doesnt prove anything.

First time Id been here in a while. I was excited tonsee cheap rainier cherries and lychees! They also had rambutans, which I had never had. Great grocery store! I highly recommend it to get good fresh produce!

Tremendous choice on asian products, excellent fish, all sushi ingredients, great fresh spices, wonderful produce. Used to be good value, now its pricey. I go there for hard to find products, not for value pricing.

My wife is Korean, so she gets her Korean groceries here. The food is fairly authentic, but the service is horrible.Let me tell you what happened this morning. I wanted to buy some sushi from the food mart. One of my favorite crabmeat sushi has spicy sauce on top. I asked the chef if he can make one without the spicy sauce, since I dont eat spicy.He said no.I wasnt sure whether he didnt understand me, so I explained again that all I need was a new one without the spicy sauce on top. The chef then made a rude hand gesture towards me, pointed at the exit, and asked me to go away.I wasnt too sure how to respond to that.While the food is nice, its not worth putting up with this kind of rudeness. Thinking about it I am still upset. My wife and I will get our groceries at Super H Mart instead.

This is the best place in the neighborhood for fresh produce and international food. They always have the freshest stuff at the lowest prices and the staff is kind and knowledgeable.

New store but Great Wall Supermarket or HMart are still better

This Korean brand store carries a good variety of Asian groceries. Price is generally competitive for the quality you will get. However, shoppers need to be aware that the price you are charged does not always reflect the sticker price, often higher than the price tag.

While I love the many variety of fresh produce this place has to offer. However, I am really disappointed in how the market handles safety during the pandemic. I have been here only twice and in those 2 times, I have felt very unsafe. They let too many people in at once, social distancing is hard to even accomplish. They also have confusing signs on the floor to get to the cashier and have a person who is trying to control all the chaos their floor signs create by thinking you have to be in an isle lane to get to the cashier when in reality they want you to form a line at the very left end of the store. I saw many people cut the lines and not social distance just to be able to pay since their actual line is really long (again, going back to the number of people they let in at the same time).As far as sanitization, I didnt see anyone cleaning the carts. They may have been. I grabbed a small basket and used their sanitizing spray to do one more cleaning before using it.I hope this review is seen by management in this place and they start taking more of a closer look and action for the safety of their workers and customers.

They always have what I need. When its busy they still maintain social distancing and efficiency. I always feel safe and well treated here.

If I can give 0 stars, I will give 0 starts to their customer service. Very rude customer service. I bought 4 pots, two are big size, two are small size. But I got the one with a wrong size cover, so I came here to exchange it. The customer service was rude and mad at that. She even wanted to kick me out. Very disappointed with their service. Never come back here again

Best grocery store for a huge selection of vegetables, fruits from all parts of the world, grains, meat and pretty much everything one needs in a kitchen. The best thing is their prices are cheaper than most stores in the area. They also have a good stock of fresh fish and Indian groceries too.

This market has lovely fresh produce. That includes pomegranates and persimmons, when they are in season from fall through early winter. A snack that I have not seen elsewhere is here: Goya galletas marias, in chocolate flavor.

If you are craving for sushi/rolls and Korean snacks, this is the place for you.

I have been shopping here since January 20, and Lotte seems to consistently have the best produce in the area. They have been stocked with milk,fresh fruit and veg, and good amounts of dry goods throughout the entire covid fiasco. All the staff is friendly and helpful when I have had questions. They are very organized with social distancing measures, and the store is always clean.

I love Lotte Plaza at Rockville, I go shopping there every week. But today I faced very bad experience due to one of the nasty employee who was in the Customer Service. Today, October 23, 2020 around 4:28 PM I need to return some fruit which I dont need but accidently I bought it so I immediately went to the Customer Service, the lady whose name is Jeonghee K (which is mention in the return receipt) to whom I asked that I need to return. She act so rudely with me. She does not know how to speak with the customer.

The market is first-rate. Ill admit that I have a long-standing attraction to the marinated/uncooked bulgogi-by-the-pound down the road at Korean Korner, but this place brings a secret weapon to the grocery game: a sushi shop. Its well-priced enough for me to not feel guilty about spending the dough, but not so inexpensive as to seem cheap. This isnt your usual grocery sushi (sometimes ok, sometimes not far from service-station product); no, this is a fine meal for those who choose to partake of what to some Americans is still an odd choice. Not me! Id eat here every day and be forever full of fish.

The only thing that would make this place better is their bread isle. Stuff needs to be rotated out of there better.

It is good place for all kinds of food but the people working in the seafood section are disgusting. They don’t know about customer satisfaction at all they are very rude, they behave very bad with the customer, they ignore and don’t listen what you say, they just keep talking with each other on their own Language (Spanish) and feels like they are making fun of you.

I often shop at Lotte, really like their products and never had any issues. But this time, I got such a bad experience just to make an exchange. The customer service lady was so rude and disrespectful. I was not aware that the quantity was limited for this particular item. The cashier did not say anything when making the purchase and also said that the exchange could be made. The lady from customer service literally got mad at me while I was never informed during my shopping experience. Then, when I noticed that the money was not deducted from my exchange, I came back to the store and ask to the customer service to check if they could deduct the amount. They still use such an old system that they cannot track old transactions from the debit card I used. They even had to check on their video camera to make sure I already had the product when coming to the store (which they clearly saw). At the end, I couldnt even exchange the product and the customer service lady almost yelled at me...Horrible customer service representative and horrible store!

Great prices on many items but not across the board. I really like the fact that they have items that cannot be found anywhere else especially with regards to the fruits and vegetables. However the quality and freshness could be better. The weed the Shelf their items is categorized in a way that makes it very hard to find. They have items of the same category in many different Isles. I think they categorize them by brand and not by type of item.

Has a lot of specialty items, but misses on some popular American grocery store items such as hummus. You wont find any Siggi yogurt, nor any Rebbl branded juices here, either. In other words, it lacks many of the yuppie offerings which even Safeway and Giant carries nowadays, taking a hint from places such as Whole Foods, Trader Joes and Harris Teeter.

This supermarket has very wide variety of selection. The fruit and vegetable are very fresh. There are many fresh fishes and meat. The price is way better than Giant. They also have bakery and sushi dept within the supermarket. I highly recommend this place.

Getting pricier lately. I am seeing different prices on shelf vs checkout (higher). A Gallon of whole milk was priced $6.99 right before Thanksgiving.

Rude cashiers but worst customer service from the management. They advertise saying that they close at 9pm but what the hell they start to announce they “already closed” at 8:50pm. What difference does that 10 minutes make if a customer is trying to grab something quick and they start to follow you around like babies and start making rude comments about them. I may not be a Spanish speaker but please tell the cashiers to be polite we are all paying customers after all.

This place is fantastic! They have all the ingredients for anything you might want to make and all sorts of things that someone like me hasnt ever tried. My rule when I go is to get something new. Ive discovered beans, frozen foods - all sorts of things that are new to me. They have samples of things which really helps when wanting to try something new. I love this place.

Care about a clean experience? Do not shop here. They are NOT complicit with CDC regulations. No person counting at door or 6 feet distance enforcement. Cashiers WILL refuse to wipe the conveyor belt after the previous customer because they said the store is too busy! They said they wipe it down every two hours but how much bacteria is proliferating on the belt in that timespan?? They are picking PROFIT over their customers SAFETY. NOT worth a visit during COVID-19. Poor management and poor customer service.

This is the best international grocery store in the area. The selection is excellent, the prices are competitive, and the fish department is better than any seafood-only store weve been to.

Its a different type of shopping experience.I was compelled too stop in in order too broaden my grocery shopping knowledge.So that all my Bloved ones which observe my post.Can live in their solutions not there problems.They have some products there which Ive never known exsist ramen products which after 24 years one month 7 days of incarceration thought Id seen all ramen had too offer they begged the differ. If your interested in ingredients which shock and amaze I recommend this grocery shopping experience.Thanks my Bloved people your the reason I let my travels and thoughts BE HEARD.

An employee sprayed my hands and our cart down as soon as we entered and there is only one line for checkout with an employee directing you where to go. Store is very clean and has a ton of selection of different Asian products like Indian and Thai foods, etc. They have a ton of premade Korean side dishes. The man outside that sells deserts is amazing - $2 for a Mochi red bean taiyaki is so cheap and it was delicious. Also bought the walnut cakes and they have so many walnuts in it and tasted semi-healthy ;)

Really good Asian store for its size. Some of the items are better priced than Hmart and it has a great variety of products and produce They sell fresh pandas leaves (which is quite difficult to find)

Excellent produce, fish, meat selection. The prices for these items are excellent as well. Theres a large selection of Asian and Hispanic goods. However, the prices on these goods are a little pricier. I go here for my produce every week. Cashiers are always friendly and the store is always well stocked. I wish they had longer hours.
