Great service! I had a large crack in my windshield and needed a new one. Was able to speak to Mr Armin via text and sent photos to make sure they had the right windshield and tint. They were flexible about scheduling. The technician Dan who came out to me was super nice and finished the job in a whopping 30 minutes. PLUS I was parked on the side of a busy street, but he didnt complain or have any problems about the location. Great price and super fast service. We would definitely call them again for my windshield repairs.

Extremely bad customer service!! I fixed the car 3 days ago and everything else seems fine but the driver’s side window molding wasn’t put in properly. I had called them and told them the situation and started accusing me that my molding was old and they had put the molding back on the car for free ( he said otherwise it would have cost extra money to put the molding back on!!). I have never heard of such a thing!!

Zips is absolutely amazing. I had the run around with my insurance and trying to get my glass ordered from someone some where to get it fixed. Safelite said 5 days. Zips had it ordered and installed in under 6 hours. The owner is so incredibly friendly. Explained everything to me in detail. If I ever need glass again I will definitely go back there.

Really bad they gave no info on the job when calling because they didnt know took over 3 weeks to get done when I was told they really wanted to do it within to sub contracted out to even worst ppl with worst customer service just find someone else trust me

This place is great. I went online for online to their website for a quote to replace a windshield. They were very quick in getting back to me. I initially arranged to have my windshield replaced at my work but I was told that the windshield they had for me had a small crack, so they asked if they could come to my home the next day (it was a weekend). The technician came on time to my home, but then realized that my windshield has a rain sensor (which I didnt realize). So, I ended up just bringing the car into their shop the following Monday. They told me it would take a little over an hour, so I waited. However, just 45 minutes later, they handed me the key to the car because it was done. And so far, the windshield has been looking and working great!

Armin and his crew are the best at what they do - that is care for clients and fix cars well. Most honest repair shop I have ever dealt with. we are continually happy with the work and the service here. Someone recommended his shop to us and Im glad they did!

Storm damaged both windshield and back window in an older Infiniti. Several national outfits said parts availability was limited. I called ZIPS late in the day, they came to my house on schedule at 9 AM the next day. Nice guy, quality workmanship, both windows and cleanup completed in less than two hours. Jimmy came to my office right on schedule and told me I could wait. I went inside to heat my lunch. 10 mins later I get a test that its done! What??? I come out he says to leave the tape on for 24 hours. I ask if I should not touch the mirror for 24 hours. He says it should be fine but he already adjusted it for me. Yup, he did. Arman was extremely helpful in getting a chip fixed on my Honda Civic. State Farm conferenced him into the call to make sure he covered it through them, and he set up an appointment to come in the next morning.The waiting room leaves a little to be desired, but its an auto place. Arman was super friendly, super quick, and got us in and out in about 45 minutes (and it was pouring out, so there was extra time to let it dry in the glass to be safe).All in all great experience! 0 dollars billed to us, we just signed and left. Good customer service and good work, from what I can tell. Would be a 5-star review, except I was initially quoted $185 for repair of my window on the phone and ended up being charged $195. Once I arrived with my car, I was informed about the possibility of an additional $10 charge, so I suppose I was still informed of this price before the work was done, but it would have been more transparent if this additional charge was included in the initial quote I received on the phone.

I went here to get a crack in my windshield patched because it was a good price. The service was quick, and I was told that if, in the future, I need to replace the whole windshield, they would take off the amount I paid in this transaction. That sounds reasonable to me!

Got a quote from the “other” big name brand glass repair company that was $200 more than Zips. Zips offered to store my car in the shop over the weekend when I talked with him on the phone because I could not pick it up on Sat. When I dropped off the car at 11:30am on a Fri he said “I can just get it done for you today if that would help!” 3 hours later got a VM and text letting me know I was good to go. Price as promised on the phone. No ticky tack extras for delivery fees, disposal fees etc. Will always use for any glass issues!

I cant say enough about this company from my first experience.First, they responded to my online inquiry for a quote within 15 minutes. The quote was exactly what it ended up being (apart from sales tax, of course). They were also nice enough to let me use a coupon I found on their website, even though the work would be done remotely.The contact person I had, Armin, was very responsive by email. He set up the appointment two days later and ordered the glass same day.The installer, Sandro, was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. He arrived earlier than expected, and had to come back and did so without any complaint. He was done in 20 minutes.The price was $200 less than the quote I got from two other major glass repair companies, and even if it was half that Id still recommend them. Great company.

Besides the fact that they were convenient with their mobile service coming out to me, I would never go here again. I had a small chip in my windshield from a rock and asked them to repair it before it spread. To begin, when I made the appointment, the individual did not tell me a fix is only temporary. When the gentleman came to my residence and looked at my car, he stated he thought the crack may be too big to fix. I stated that if this is the case, please do not bother charging me $59.00 to fix it. Upon cleaning my windshield and taking a second look, the worker stated he could fix it. When he was done, he then stated he was able to repair the chip that it will not spread. The windshield looked great. Days later I come out to my car to find the small repair had spread into a long horizontal crack. Furious, I called the owner who stated the initial damage was probably too big and a fix is only temporary-could last for 2days-2 years. As a person not in the windshield repair business or not knowledgeable of repairs, the terms of a repair should have been stated prior. In addition, I informed the worker that if the chip was too big to please not attempt to fix it, however he stated he could fix it AND that it would not spread. Never again. If you are in need of glass repair, go to Safelite Solutions in Germantown.

If I could give this review zero stars, I would, as I dont even know what type of work they actually do. I cannot begin to describe how incredibly frustrated I am with this company right now. We were referred to Zips from our car insurance company after filing a windshield replacement claim on March 18, 2016. The insurance company scheduled for Zips to come out to our home on Thursday, March 24 between 11-2. At 12, I receive a phone call saying that the tech is running behind and will now be here between 4-6 pm. I am also told the tech will call when he is on the way. Im irritated, but hey, it happens. So Ive now lost an entire day, staying around home waiting for them. At 5:50 pm, Ive heard nothing. I call the office, and no one answers, because - they close at 6pm. I leave a message which was very apparent, that I am not happy. At 6:05pm, their tech calls, saying he should be here in about 25 minutes. Itll take 45 minutes to complete. Guess what? Welcome to Northern Virginia where it can take 45 minutes to go 8 miles in rush hour traffic. Hes not going to get here for at least an hour, meaning between travel and repair, he wont be finished until at least 8pm. I have a small child, and was supposed to drop this vehicle off this evening at the dealership for its yearly safety inspection (hence the windshield repair beforehand) and an oil change. So now, my child will not be going to bed on time, while we wait for something that should have been completed hours ago to take place. This company boasts, Less than 24 hour service, umm, not so much. I just texted the tech - who is obviously overbooked, and I feel sorry for him - thanks, but no thanks. Go home. This company obviously needs more employees, and should not by any means, be bragging on their website that they can do service in less than 24 hours, when we literally scheduled this a week ago, and they cant even get here when theyre supposed to. Your customer service is severely lacking. We have also followed up with our insurance company to file a formal complaint with them, letting them know this is not acceptable and they should consider NOT referring people to this company.

I had my car windshield replaced by Zip Auto Glass a couple of weeks ago. The quote I got over the phone was $225, including everything. However, it became $235 when I tried to pay. In addition, they installed a new gasket for $25 without letting me know first. On top of that, they charged 3% for all credit card payment. So I had to pay $42 more than the original quote. What a rip off.

STAY AWAY FRIM THIS COMPANY!!! Not professional at all. Installers were suppose to call before they come out. Never got a call. They came to my house then called me wondering where I was. Took my shattered windshield out and then told me they brought the wrong replacement. They said it would take them 45minutes to get the correct windshield and come back. After they finally installed the right windshield the technician handed me a piece of paper to sign without explaining what it was. When I asked him about it he said im just a technician. Asked if the windshield came with a warranty idk was his reply..... terrible customer service. Dont know how they are in business. Took a total of 2hrs and 20min to replace a windshield. Please save yourself the headache.

After specifically asking the tech to clean glass in car - I found lots of glass under seats and on ground nearby that he swept into my grass - I told him I had pets and children and this was unacceptable - he did clean it again after I pointed it out - customer service did not really seem to care - they said that is why you should bring it into the shop and that this was one of their best techs - I thought that the convenience of having it done at home was what I was paying for!
