I love the fried Kwetiau and the bobba tea. I need to take one star because it happened twice already that the restroom didnt have the soap until I asked for the soap and they gave me detergent dish. Each time, they said, we are out of soap. I thought come on....

I think the customer service can be better .for Example I went in and I was not to sure on what to order so I ask the employee if a certain drink brings bobba and he answer me with “ I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I WANT “ I think that was very rude towards a customer, I never been there before and there are a lot of different things everywhere . Please teach your employees how to speak and treat customers .Thank you

All I can say is wow . This place gives you a lot of variety of slush, smoothie and punches. They have coffees too. They have Halo Halo on the menu which i always get. But willing to try some other stuff some other time but been getting halohalo all the time.

Nick is a very nice guy, he’s very helpful and kind to all his customers! The drinks were made in a quick manner and definitely worth the price. I drive 50 mins just to get drinks from here.

I love this place. l was here when this place first open. I’m very happy with the drinks and their customer service. Before knowing this place l was always go to Eden Center to buy my drinks.l’m very happy that they opened in MD, very close to my house. My family really like their chè number 10 and my favorite is number 5 Smashed Avocado. Try it yourself, you will see the difference.Highly recommend this place!!!

Great service. Great desserts. For the Ché desserts I would recommend having crushed iced instead of shaved and formed into a ball, would incorporate better. Would be awesome if there were chairs for outside seating too. Definitely coming back!

My visit took place during about a month into their soft opening. I frequent visit when it was in Eden Center and was delighted to know they moved up to Rockville.Upon entering, they did a great job decorating the space. The smell of fresh waffles was very welcoming. They looked like they expanded their menu from che to crepes, ice cream, and tea. My mom and I knew exactly what we were ordering when we went (always the same thing) - their che desserts.Service was friendly and more accommodating than before. I say that because I dont particularly care for the herbal jelly in my dessert drink, and they didnt allow substitutions when they were at Eden. This time, I was able to omit the herbal jelly and get more of the red tapioca, which is my fav.To say the least about our desserts, it was not very good. They came out at a reasonable time, but we found that the ice had hardened to a big ball that was tough to break up. My moms dessert came with some taro and it tasted extra artificial. Their pandan jelly didnt taste like pandan. My dessert was supposed to include coconut milk but I didnt taste any coconut. In the end, we threw about 70% of it out.Perhaps our memory failed us or our expectations were too high, but it didnt taste like the Bambu we have known. Theres still a lot to offer from the menu and I dont want to write it off completely. I do plan to give this another shot, but my rating for now stands firm at a 2.

The level of attention for the food and drink is phenomenal.

I was in the area and had no idea what this place was. I was told about this about this place and so i gave it shot. I tried their bubble milk teas, their foods, and the mango yogurt with lychee jelly (my favorite). My fiancé and i enjoyed everything here, but wasn’t a fan of one dish. As far as their drinks, can’t go wrong there, especially the mango yogurt. My only critique would be that the ratio could be a little bit better in the mango yogurt because the mango syrup can be overpowering a bit and that’s all you taste. We also tried the combo (kiwi, strawberry and mango) in the yogurt drink and wasn’t a fan of the kiwi, to be honest. The guy who always works there told us about the new green tea jelly that he had just got in. It was good, but I don’t know if i would get it again. As far as their food, its definitely different but had flavors that you aren’t used to. If you want to be adventurous, I would definitely say to try their food.

Love the taro tea milk drink and the soto betawi

When I arrived, there was no one at the counter and it took the unmasked man in the front of the storefront who was refilling the pastries to go back and get someone. I ordered a dirty chai with boba and got a chia milk tea with no boba after waiting there for 15 minutes (I was the only customer). Very disappointing and concerning that the pastries were being placed by someone not wearing proper PPE to handle the unwrapped food.

I travel to Rockville from DC a couple of times a month for this dessert. This location is the best BAMBU I’ve ever had, and that’s coming from a fellow viet person. The mangonada and smashed avocado are my favorites, just jam packed with flavor and made with fresh fruit. The owner is a sweetheart and is jazzing it up by bringing an Indonesian chef to make amazing Indonesian food. Please support this business so they can open another branch closer to DC post-COVID. You will not regret it.

Always have a good experience when I visit. Their bahn mi sandwiches are really good. Also, their Vietnamese coffee and bubble teas are amazing!!! This place is really underrated. If you try something and don’t like it, I recommend trying something else.

The cafe has issues with County Health Deportment. See photos. Boba is hard and chicken is chewy. Although there are tables and chairs, the cafe is not qualified for eat-in.

My first 2 orders had complications.The first encounter was I ordered online but when I went to the store, the staff mistaken that my order had food and drink in it. Then I insist that I only ordered just a certain food. She was about to charge me since it doesnt say in their system that I paid but I showed the receipt online as proof of payment. She believed me and got my food after.The second encounter was ordering in person. I was ordering Indonesian bubur ayam but then one of the staff served me soto betawi. I told them I ordered bubur ayam. The staff gave me a refund and apologized that he gets confused with the names. However when saying the number that says on the menu, he gets it. He provided the correct order minutes after.The food is great but there needs to be room of improvement with the online ordering and in person orders.

Great place! I get the iced coffee while my wife likes #6, fruit addict. My sons like the taro drink. You won’t be disappointed. There is no place nearby that makes such great pleasures!Today, I stopped by to get a sandwich and coffee. The owner came out to say hello. Awesome!!!

So slow. Today was our 2nd time placing an order online through their platform Menufy. We placed it 20 mins ahead knowing that they’re usually super slow to pick up orders and actually make them. No surprise when we arrive it still wasn’t ready and we had to wait another 10 mins when they literally had one customer inside and four people working. Won’t be supporting them again. No way should anyone have to wait 30 mins for a bubble tea, I’ll visit the other 10 local businesses in the area.

I’ll begin by saying OMG, they are amazing down to customer service cleanliness of the restaurant and taste of the drink I had. I was having a craving for a drink I’d never tired it’s called a mangonada, Nick who helped me was amazing he explained what was in the drink even that it was a bit spicy, he even gave me a little back story on where the drink originally comes from. So I went ahead and ordered. Now service at this point is amazing, to tell to tell you when I first tried it omg it was love at first taste. The mango was just perfect the drink wasnt to watery nor to stiff the taste was put all well balanced. This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Nick for the amazing experience. I will see you soon! 😀.

I love this place for having such a specialty selection of Asian desserts.... but God if they have been understaffed since opening and still needing to speed up for my preferences most of the time. Place an online order get it 15 to 30 minutes later is best bet right now, so hard to plan the timing right.All we need now is Vietnamese egg foam iced coffee yeah???Also parking is great and quality of food is too. Pricing is a tad high

Im glad we have this store in MD. Good location, easy to find and park. The drinks are good, but not many selections as the store in Eden center (closed). Pay attention when you order take out. They gave me different drink than I ordered.

Very good Vietnamese desserts

I love this place. I just started going 3 weeks ago and cant get enough of the hazelnut mocha. The owner Mr. Nick said my 1st day I would love it..and he was right ! 😋 . Now Im ready to try the other items. Mr. Nick and his staff are very pleasant. Highly recommended. You wont be disappointed.

Decided to check out Bambu this evening and I can guarantee you that this place does not disappoint. The staff members are all friendly and helpful. One of them offered me to try the Taro smoothie (first time trying it) and I went for it and oh boy.... It has become my new favorite drink. Very satisfied with the quality of the drinks and am happy with my experience. Great place, great drinks, and awesome people. Oh and they have hand sanitizer everywhere. Way to go!

A good Bambu location with a lot of seating and a huge parking lot. They have a good variety of options and some baked goods as well. Service was generally friendly but sometimes I felt it took a bit long for unknown reasons - liked the quality and overall atmosphere though. Great place!

Its a new bubble tea place, so you know im here! The mango is so fresh in the Mango Dazzle drink with great tapioca balls. The original bubble tea uses fresh black tea. They dont even ask you for level of sweetness or ice level and they dont need to. It had just the right amount of ice and sweetness for the palate.The parking in front of it is free!

Beautiful cafe! Everything from customer service to the food was great. Me and my husband tried a sandwich and the smoothie mangonada and that smoothie is definitely one of my favorite now! The sandwich was delicious also(very tasty and fresh). Will be going back to try other things on the menu!!

Friendly service but the smoothies are awful, the worst I’ve ever had. Two sips and had to trash it, my friend threw his away too. I order an avocado smoothie, for god know what reason why the drink tasted bitter. My friend drink tasted like water. If you’re reading this don’t order smoothie from here. Try something else

The really good things about this place is cleanliness and customer care. And, their special product like mangonada makes me go there more frequently.

Cross-contamination detected; unfortunately the large Avocado smoothies had Durian in it. We were already halfway home and could tolerate the strong Durian flavor, but others may not be so kind in this situation, especially for the high price tag. Seems like its a hit or miss with the back-kitchen staff. It doesnt help that the kitchen cant be viewed, seems almost mysterious as to what they could be doing back there to your drink...

This is based on the soft open[edit below], so I hope it doesnt go downhill. The different che options are not bad, easy on the sugar. Its going to go down to your flavor. This location has banh mi, and that surprised me. Owner says they make the bread and its a good lighter bread. Definitely will return for the banh mi. Ran into the owner there and seemed like a good guy. Clean and nice, but again, soft open.edit: So far, so good. Ive come to like the Bambu Favorite as my go to. Or the Summer Delight. Sandwiches continue to be pretty good. And the Pandan waffles are great, but be warned, pretty heavy, lol.

So glad that Rockville also has Bambu. We used to go to Bambu in Houston, Texas and this place never disappoint us.

Ive loved Bambu for a long time, and I was very happy to discover this one here. I got my usual order, the bambu combo: red, white, and mung bean, taro, boba, pandan jelly, combo jelly, and coconut milk. I got it without boba and without the combo jellies, and I also got no sugar. The beans were great and I love pandan jelly. The coconut milk was slightly sweet, but it paired well. I love the combo, would highly recommend! The only downside is that its a bit pricey at $6.10 post-tax, but its delicious!
