The location is nice if you live in the area and you’re able to walk because there’s not a lot of parking available. I enjoyed my lychee punch. It wasn’t too sweet and I like the added fruit. Some of the other drinks were super sweet like the mango with mango jelly.

The tea was good. Everyone was nice. But the wait is unreasonably long to only serve drinks. Ahhhhh, why does it take 10 minutes to get a couple of teas. Really? There is no close parking, where are customers supposed to wait? There is underground parking they will validate, but that shouldn’t be necessary. And there is a $.50 charge to have tapioca balls in the tea, not extra tapioca balls, any tapioca balls. Isn’t that a standard part of the drink?

Great spot! Order takeout here time to time, the tea is always good! Love the seasonal flavors they’ve introduced, but wish they’d venture a little further and try pumpkin spice!

This is the best KFT in the area! They always make our drinks to near perfection. Our favorite from here is the Purple Yam Latte, which for some reason isn’t sold at any other KFTs in the area. We usually order for pickup and our drinks are ready in minutes!

I placed an order for two drinks at 8:30. I had to pick up food from another place so I waited for my food at this other restaurant until I got it at 8:55. Then, I went to Kung Fu tea and arrived at 8:59.(9 is closing time). I noticed the doors were locked but there were employees cleaning so I knocked on the doors to get my drinks. They looked me in the eyes and then went back to what they were doing so I was left waiting outside. Then I knocked again, only for them to have the same reaction. This continued about 5 times and I was staring at these employees who glanced at me every time and went back to what they were doing. Finally, one employee who came from the back allowed me to talk and opened the doors. I got my drinks and left. This shows that the employees dont really care about customers as the least they could do after my third knock was open the door and talk to me. I Know I came at closing time, but the employees dont give the best service. This isnt the first bad experience Ive had at this location.

I had the Mango Green Tea punch with tapioca pearls and mango popping bubbles.Stopped here after work and its a great place. Definitely enjoyed the drink and atmosphere.5/5

Love that they have strawberry lemonade without any tea/caffeine for kids. Boba is chewy and yummy but wish the coffee milk tea had more coffee flavor. It was underwhelming bc it just tasted like plain milk tea.

Very cool setting and staff, only thing is thoese prices! We get it people like bubble tea, Dose not mean it should be that expensive. There are like 10 bubble tea places in town center selling the same exact flavors.

Love this location! Go play boardgames with friends on the comfy couchs or just make a quick run in. The service is quick and the drinks are great!

Everything Ive gotten here tastes great. Staff is fast and friendly. The selection at Kung Fu tea is unique and fun to try but is limited. Ive tried customizing flavors of the tea and they cant accommodate.

Good option for bubble tea in Rockville. Bubbles taste fresh. Parking can be dicey but they validate for a nearby lot. Their pineapple green tea is refreshing on a hot day with little chunks of pineapple in the drink.As per business execution, they are a bit of a victim of their own success as the counter is often busy and theres little space to form a line so people press forward. They could alleviate some of this problem with a second cash register, especially as they are using a minimal counter space tablet option currently. As another reviewer mentioned, I also find automated tip requests, juxtaposed to an inefficient counter service, annoying.

Lots of drinks to choose from, although you cant go wrong with the basic milk tea. I would appreciate a low sugar beverage but I guess thats not really the point.

Kung Fu Tea has always been my favorite bubble tea store. Their tea actually tastes like tea, as opposed to flavored milk in many other places. Their customization options are great for people who don’t want too much sugar or ice. I just wish that parking for this particular location were easier. Sometimes I wound up driving in circles in the underground garage.

One of their best locations hands down. I miss the board games before covid 😥. Can be a wait when busy, but generally great fast customer service and delicious bubble teas! 🥤

My tea tasted fine but hardly worth the experience. There is a sign on the door that says for one walk-in customer at a time inside or for mobile orders to just go in and pick up. When I got there, there were two people waiting inside. So I waited outside. It turns out they were waiting on mobile orders so I was time wasted trying to follow their rules when more mobile orders were likely getting in ahead of me.Then, it turns out they dont have free parking with validation, or the guy didnt do it right. We parked below where the sign on the lot said retailers validate like 2 or 3 hours free. We were there maybe 45 min only. But we still had to pay $3 to exit with a validated ticket.

(Wednesday)-----------------------------------------------------------Before we had even gotten the mindset of coming to this tea place in Silver Spring, we had just come back from the one is Gaithersburg. We didnt have much of a good experience there.As both my daughter and I walked up to the tea place here, the atmosphere and the outlook of the building was appealing. Even the employees that worked inside behind the counter looked to be very kind people.The only problems that we experienced are when we had finished ordering and were ready to pay.We had a five dollar bill in hand, ready to hand it over until we were specifically told, Sorry, we dont accept cash.Now we were both confused and disappointed. We didnt see anywhere on their site that they didnt accept cash, the same with the one in Gaithersburg. We even called the one in Silver Spring beforehand to see if they accepted cash, in which they said they did. So, I had to pay with my bank card just so my daughter wouldnt be more disappointed than she already was.They were only letting one person in at a time whilst having those who ordered wait outside. There was no problem here since the pandemic and all until we realized that we had been the only ones there that were now standing in the heat. There was absolutely no shaded areas outside of the building.Now both of us were both miserable and overheating.After waiting and waiting without them telling us that it was done, we had finally obtained the tea, being that it was Thai milk tea with tapioca pearls.Now we were somewhat pleased. My daughter had been enjoying it, vocalizing that she loved how it tasted and how much it reminded her of the tea she made at home -- but then came the aftertaste. The aftertaste caused her to somewhat dislike it, thinking that maybe it was just that she should have ordered something else.Trust me, I dont exactly want to visit this place again.

Good taste as other kung fu tea.

We went late one night. It was pretty packed on a Thursday night. We had the Milk Oolong tea with boba, Mango Snow with boba, Coffee Milk tea with boba, & Oreo Milk tea with boba. They were all good. They have a whole menu of either hot or cold teas. You have to try them for yourself.

Its a great place with very energetic music. The staff are very charming and kind even if its only at the counter. There are comfortable seats and even small games to play with a large group of friends.

Got the taro milk green tea with boba and the boba was kinda hard and stale but the tea itself was good

They have the best bubble milk tea in the area (even among nearby Kung Fu Tea locations, not sure why)! The bubbles are always chewy, not hard, sweet and the milk tea is always very flavorful. Definitely my go to place for bubble milk tea! Highly recommended!

Long time customer of Kung Fu. Drink more bubble tea than I probably should. Today they took my order wrong. It has happened before as most the staff have a basic grasp of the English language at best. In the past, they have always fixed any issues without making a fuss. Today, that wasnt the case. Instead, I was asked for an additional 50c to fix the order. Dont really care about the money but I dont walk around with change in my pocket so I had the choice of ordering a whole new drink or keeping one I didnt want. Ill be deleting the app and not coming back.

Lets continue to help us push this standard in Maryland by creating more good bubble tea or other mixed teas. You are doing well.Dont be turned off by the waiting line outside the door, it goes pretty quickly, it does take some time to wait after you have placed the order tho, but somehow the vibe makes it easier to wait than it seems. The price is slightly get to the pain point but I guess everyone else is also finding the quality good enough to compensate it.

This is a pretty great spot to get bubble tea. I went there because I wanted coffee and my friend said, they have coffee. though it may be true that they have coffee, you should get the bubble tea. If you dont like the gelatinous tapioca balls (bubbles), then dont get one with the boba in it. Their tea is great either way.

We were a party of eight and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to get all of our drinks done. The bubbles (tapioca) were very nicely done - they were of the right consistency of firmness and chewiness. It lived up to the hype.

Today, the bubble is too hard. Kung Fu tea as chain still has more to do with its consistency. Some stores make the bubble better than others. The sever also didnt ask me about all the options I could have, e.g., less sugar, less ice, etc. At $5.30 a cup, better quality and service are to be expected.

This place is robbing me blind. Its pretty addictive. The quality is high and they allow you to totally customize your drink to the exact specifications. Thats why I keep coming back. All the store are very consistent even from country to country.

This is now my favorite bubble tea place. My all time favorite is the Taro Milk Tea. The slushy kind is also good. But if you order them with bubbles, be sure to consume them quickly since the soft bubbles freeze after a few minutes. Another tip: be sure to customize your drink by adjusting sweetness, ice and other add-ons. They are very consistent in their drink preparation, and in time, you will find the right mix for you.

It is a cozy bubble tea shop with a very welcoming atmosphere. The bubbles are just the right size and the tea isnt too sweet. Overall very solid. I had a great time.

Kung Fu Teas rating may be dragged down by the existence of nearby bubble tea places providing better atmosphere and arguably better drinks.The inside of the store is narrow and long. Unfinished looking interior has its charm but the place feels crowded. Outdoor seating area however, is enjoyable depending on the season.Friendly staff and acceptable tea (I always find that to be a little watered down though) make it a decent hang out place when not too busy. If thats the closest bubble rea shop to you, theres nothing wrong with going there.

Tea is good, service is prompt and polite, and the atmosphere is pleasant. As with many similar places, however, they ask you for a tip at the counter while making you listen for your number and retrieve your drinks yourself (that is to say, performing none of the service that normally earns the tip). Amazing bubble tea here! Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a drink of bubble tea. Its a very popular place that attracts crowds of all ages and ethnicities. They have many different unique flavors and they also offer free parking in the garage beneath the complex. They also have fun games such as connect four and jenga for you to play with your friends and family! The place can get quite cramped though during peak hours. The line can almost go out of their door at times as the building is not very large. Other than that the place is great!

I never really understood the hype of Kung Fu Tea in NYC, and I guess I still dont understand it. Im also not the pickiest bubble tea drinker. Generally I dont even order bubbles; Im a pudding type of gal.I come here only for their grapefruit yogurt drink with the white jelly. Its refreshing, tart, and sweet. They have a bunch of different options and toppings cost an extra $0.50.

This has to be one of the best bubble tea places that I have ever been too! You have a lot of ways to customize your drink, from the amount of sugar to the special toppings on the drink. I would highly recommend going to this place if you are visiting Rockville.

Good tea / bubble tea / other drinks (non-alcoholic) shop. The taro slushy is my drink of choice and recommended. Service is fairly quick. Due to the size of the place, seating is limited (crowded during peak hours). There are some board games for the public to use while hanging out.

Very nice atmosphere, with very nice service. Bubble tea selection is vast and plenty, theres definitely something for everyone. You can select your amounts of sugar, ice, and size which is nifty.

Consistently-prepared drinks, this is a great addition to the Rockville area. Free parking can be found in the open shared lot in the back. I stick with the Taro Milk tea with no ice, 100% sweetness, and nata jelly. Service is very quick and efficient, but the place does get loud!

My favorite boba tea chain in Maryland. Went to Kung Fu often during my few years and Maryland. I really liked their fruit teas such as the strawberry lemon and lychee punch. Also liked the Kung Fu milk tea. They also have several popping boba options which are fun to pop in your mouth. Definitely recommend going to a Kung Fu Tea for boba.

Fantastic place for bubble tea. This chain from Taiwan has a wide variety of options. The seating area in the back offers board games and other amenities that makes this spot great for hanging out.

Not a fresh taste. The fruit bits were very hard in my drink and didnt taste good. It was our first time there and neither of us liked our drinks. The coconut tea was very watered down and didnt have a coconut taste at all. The atmosphere was very nice but we wont go back. We recommend Ocha Tea instead

Basic service, nothing to write home about. They have everything youd expect from a bubble tea establishment; bobba, jelly, slushie, shakes and the such. Staff is fine, and responsive. Inside area is clean and open and they have 2 or 3 tables for outside seating as well.

Very popular Bubble Tea place close to Rockville town square. Gives big cup for large. Having Jinga at the tables was a nice touch. Which makes it a social. Toppings are extra. So be careful with the toppings. Charged for bubble! That should be a crime.

The place provides a lovely space to hangout with friends and just relax. Along with that they supply a few games to play such as Jenga, Cards Against Humanity, and many more. Although some of the games are a bit worn out they are still a fun to play. I recommend going there.

A bit of a loud echo-chamber interior with board games and couch seating for patrons. Drinks are varied and interesting, but powdery and poorly mixed. It appears they are choosing to use annoying business tactics, such as allowing the interior to becoming humid and hot to save on air conditioning costs, or imposing an $8 minimum to use credit cards, when a typical individual patron would want to only buy a $5 drink. The only reason this store might be able to stay in business is because of its high foot-traffic location.

This is the best bubble tea in the Rockville area, and theres a lot of bubble tea here, so thats saying something. Theres always a big line but the people behind the counter are experts and work super quickly (without fudging things up!). Usually end up here after a night with friends in Rockville Town Center and sit down to play one of the many games housed at the coffeehouse-style establishment. Never leave upset or unsatisfied.

Kung Fu Tea is my go-to place for bubble tea in MoCo. I usually get their milk tea/ green tea milk tea. Theyve got great flavors and isnt too pricey. However, they do take a little long to prepare the drinks.They also sell baked goods from Bread Corner.They have limited seating and games.

They make bubbles very good. My drink has very chewy bubbles which I like. Some bubble tea store serve so soft bubbles.

Solid location with ample and friendly staff. It is usually pretty busy and loud. Teas are good and store is clean and new.

I love this place! Great options for your bubble tea drinks. I like that ypu can choose how much sugar you want. I wish they had 1 somewhere closer to DC, maybe Bowie area.
