I drove to CVS last night to correct an insurance issue where I was being told my balance for two prescriptions for my daughter was $140.00. The Pharmacist/Employee at the drive through last night was not hearing me when I told her my daughters dad has insurance for my daughter and that there is no way the total is $140.00. She truly did not go any extra miles to correct the problem or properly look into it because she was not listening. This morning, Id like to give a special shout out to pharmacist/employee Joy who actually did go the extra mile and corrected the insurance issue by looking up my daughters dads name in the data base and seeing that my daughter is in fact insured under her dad, leaving me to have to pay $14.00 for two prescriptions, vs. the $140.00 that I was told is a co-pay. ??? Joys customer service was impeccable and she was patient and professional, despite being extra busy. She deserves a promotion. Customers need pharmacists/employees like Joy. Again, Ms. Joy.....thank you, kindly. I will always give good reviews when they are warranted.
I scheduled an appointment to get my second shot there. After I got the shot I waited the recommended 15 minutes in the store while walking around. I grabbed a few items and went back to the pharmacy to let the girl know I was fine, I also wanted to check out there, but I felt like one of the girls refused to help me in the pharmacy, she told me to go the front with attitude. The worst part is that they didn’t have any customers at the time I was the only one there. I’ve never been treated like this in any CVS before. What she did isn’t right she was just being lazy and rude.
Went in for a covid test and this girl had the most ugliest attitude.
Rude, understaffed pharmacy. After I waited a long time in line they told me to go home and get on the website to make an appointment for a flu shot. They said I could do that or just basically sit for over half an hour and then longer while they took their time filling out paperwork. Get it together CVS.
Adding to the bad reviews. Traveled in from out of town and needed an over the counter. Rushed over only to find they closed 10 mins earlier than what was posted. Doesn’t anyone want to work anymore??
MAY 21, 2021, 8:02 PM EDT:We stopped by to pick up a prescription we were told would be ready after repeated excuses over a 2 week period. On shift at this time were 2 CVS Pharmacy employees. We waited in 1 car behind the window for almost 30 minutes! Then it was finnaly our turn. We were met by two ladies who refused to fill a prescription despite the fact that it had been dropped off more then 9 days prior. The employee acknowledged that it was in store and would cost 47$. But refused to take the money when we went to pay. Bewildered we asked why and with a shocking level of unprofessionalisim the CVS Pharmacy employee statedQuote I am on the end of my shift and just want to get all the cars in the drive thru line so I can leave. Pick it up tomorrow on your own time End-Quote.She then walked away from the window trying to ignore any response. This is wildly unprofessional. Not to mention not having that medication may lead to seizures or stroke according to the doctors office. In which case harm liability would lay directly upon that CVS Pharmacy and its staff. Also when we asked to get the parking stamp done to leave the lot she took it coughed into the hand holding it then put it back into into tray. Totally oblivious to what she just did. How is this person working in a PHARMACY during COVID-19?!?!?!She should be fired! The Pharmacy manager at this location changed last month and while the new manager is a fine person and solid worker as are most of the morning shift employees it seems these ladies working the afternoon to evening shift are horrid and are perfectly happy to withhold medicine and rush customers away if it means they get off a few minutes earlier. Hopefully something is done about those two. They clearly knew what they were doing was wrong by their repeated attempts to ignore or rush the drivers in line behind us as well.
This is my local CVS and I have never had a staff member be rude to me before. This person almost bumped into me quite hard and did not acknowledge it or apologize. When I tried to ask a question later, they cut me off before I could finish my sentence. Customer service training is needed for employees so that such encounters can be avoided in the future and customers can have a pleasant shopping experience.
Went to get COVID test in person. Was told I need to be in car. I don’t own a car and live 5 minutes away. I don’t understand why I couldn’t stand there and do it, as other CVS locations have been known to allow this.
Can not recommend enough against going to this particular CVS. I have had the misfortune of having to deal with this location for a few years now (closest pharmacy in network for my insurance) - but after today I will be switching to mail order delivery and never go back to this location for any reason. The pharmacy tech I dealt with today was by far the rudest, condescending, and incompetent person I have ever had to deal with. I was attempting to pick up a prescription for myself and for my son, after providing my name and DOB (numerous times) she claimed there was no prescription ready for me. I tried explaining to her that I had received a text it was indeed ready - but she stated I must be providing wrong information then (I dont believe her listening / comprehension skills were up to par with that of a 1st grader to be honest). At that point I just wanted to get the prescription for my infant sons epi-pen to be filled, which thankfully she felt up to doing - however she did it with a heaping helping of scorn and anger as if my presence there was really bothering her. At that point, I had to get into my car and go through the drive through in an attempt to pick up my own prescription hoping that maybe I would get a different person... just my luck, got the same person. Surprisingly she was able to find my prescription this second time, and was nice enough to slam it into the drawer and slam the drawer out to me - all the while not saying anything. Again, I can not recommend against going here highly enough. I understand that working retail during a pandemic is probably not an enjoyable experience, but there was no need to treat me this way.
Depending on who you speak to they arecourteous and helpful. Just had an unpleasant interaction with a woman Saturday morning. She had an attitude and was impatient. Hoping not to have to deal with her again.
Extremely sloppy and slow staff
I went to a few different pharmacies and all of them were very rude and unhelpful. I went to this pharmacy and spoke to a young lady by the name of Monica. She was very polite and transferred my moms prescriptions with ease as I went on about my day. Thanks for the pleasant experience.
The pharmacist was super nice and professional when i went in for a flu shot and she absolutely made my day ❤️
The WORST CVS IN THE AREA! WAIT TIME WILL TAKE YEARS OFF YOUR LIFE. EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, CLUELESS AND THEY DON’T clean the tray unless you tell them. THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE TRAY AT A COVID TESTING SITE!!!!!!
Just left this location feeling disgusted. The manager was clearly racially profiling me and following me through the store. She even told me not to open the packages when I was trying to decide which feminine product to buy. Who does that?! Corporate will be hearing about her behaviors.Update: I filed a formal complaint online and was not reached out to within a week as stated so I called and filed a verbal complaint over the phone and they said the regional manager would get back with me to discuss. No one ever followed up or responded. I have taken my business elsewhere.
Excruciatingly long waiting times at the pharmacy. I literally spend many hours here every month - and nothing could be done about it. Also, for some reason they are unable to just fill a prescription, you need to physically be there in order to prompt them and only after that you will be invited to come back in 20 minutes (read 1 hour and more) to pick it up. But when you come back - you guessed it - the line starts from the beginning.
DO NOT GO TO CVS FOR A COVID TEST! I was tested on 6/22 and as of 07/01, I have not been sent the results via their MyChart system and there is no way to get through on the phone. Ive waited on hold for as long as an hour twice with no answer. Maybe this is the poor service I should have expected when I chose to get a free COVID test from a national drug store chain. Go to your doctor instead!
Worst customer service! The cashier RENEE doesnt even know how to use the coupon properly on an item. Let alone the Manager who doesnt even care and dont know how to fix the problem.
I don’t know if the drive thru is always as slow as it is today. But I have been sitting in my car forMore than 30 minutes now to get my medication! The line of cars is flowing back into the street. The lady who services the line had a bad attitude when I mentioned to her that she needs to speed up since the line is getting longer and longer.
The most of the CVS staffs are rude and unfriendly where I have visited before. But when I came to this location to print my pictures, the lady RENEE helped us very well and explained all details about the picture section. She was very kind, professional. Thank you Renee.
Saw s coupon for Advil...buy 1, get 1 half off and it wasnt honored at the register. I went back to see that I saw the correct item hanger and it expired 2 days prior to today (12/31). I only purchased 2 of the same $11.99 items is because I thought one of them would be half off. Please have your associates be more attentive to bargain deals and expiration dates.Thank youGary Moyer
I use the pharmacy pretty frequently for almost a year. The staff have been overall friendly and helpful. Sometimes it gets really busy and waiting in line can take quite a while, but I think thats more to do with not having enough people to handle the rush than anything else. I can usually avoid the rushes by going around midday during the week.
This pharmacy seriously needs a change in staff (both techs and pharmacists). Pharmacist, Joy, gave me inaccurate information and didn’t have the decency to call me or the doctor to get simple paperwork processed. She doesn’t seem knowledgeable or simply just doesn’t care. Hopefully they’ll make some changes...
Called Pharmacy to fill Rx for very sick patient on the way... fax and automated system wont always be filled in timely manner. Assured patient I would call and speak to someone personally to give her peace of mind. Spoke to Marissa, while giving details of Rx told me Next time use the automated system. I didnt address her comment or attitude. Just continued to answer direct Rx questions. She ended up hanging up the phone after I asked what her name was and before I could ask an additional question.
On January 13, 2019 at 2:19 p.m. I spoke to a pharmacist in regards to an antibiotics I thought was sent from my doctor at this particular location, in which if it was I wanted to know it can be sent to a nearby CVS pharmacy in Washington D.C., due to the fat I was stuck in D.C. from the snow. As I, began to explain to the pharmacist she became extremely nasty and unbearable, I had to hang up in addition to being really sick with a bad common cold I couldnt hardly talk. I remember hen customer service was mandatory now anyone can switch to something else and consider it to be the norm within the workforce environment I wish I took note of her name but, I did not. Never will I even think about having my prescription here I might get the wrong medicine scary.
Overall this store is a good store. Always clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Havent used the pharmacy, but some of the staff make you not want to come back, but luckily Amy was working she was very nice and explained the reasoning behind the delay in developing my pictures where other staff wasnt able to. I do see how they need more help but they shouldnt be criticized for it
Pharmacy staff has always been friendly and nice. Chris and one other pharmacist (I think her name is Sara?) have always gone out of their way to help when my insurance was giving me problems. The cashiers are a different story. They look at you like its your fault they work there. I think the most Ive ever gotten was a grunt for a greeting followed by CVS card? Not even a complete sentence. I dont expect riveting conversation, but a smile and Hi, how are you today? would be nice! I went to Walgreens for something last night and was actually treated like a human by their cashiers, the contrast was outstanding.
Great pharmacists, especially in the drive through.
If I could I would give 0 stars....The pharmacists at CVS 360 Hungerford Drive in Rockville are rude, unkind, impatient and haughty and I can go on. This is the third time I have an issue with them.. So displeased with this pharmacy.
I visited the CVS located at 360 Hungerford Dr. Rockville, MD. I had a few questions, but before I could ask I was asked by a clerk if I needed help. When she couldnt find the correct response she sent me to speak with the manager John. This guy was patient and very understanding, that I had been trying to purchase a Vichy product that sales out fast, and all they had was a new tester bottle. but he couldnt sell it. I whined a little bit about how good Vichy products are and I just couldnt find it anywhere else. I just knew that he wasnt going to sell it to me. I was right, he gave it to me!One heck of a manager!
I have been going to this location for almost 2 years now and I have never had any issues with the front customer service. However, the pharmacy is understaffed, very in rush, unprofessional, they don’t take time to verify the prescription orders. I am on a medical pills that Have 7 days window to be picked up every month after my doctor’s confirmation. The pharmacy tech failed to provide me my medicine for lack of information from her end. She didn’t order my prescription she didn’t even take time to see if they had it in stock, made me wait for a week till my 7 days window expired and I had to redo my pregnancy test. I was going back and forth calling so many times and each time they give me different answers or worst of all when answering with “I don’t know.”Very stressful to be dealing with unprofessional staff. I had to call my doctor to transfer my prescription orders to a different location. Never ever going to this location again.
Bad service, you call and call and no one picks up the phone...havent experienced that so far. Very disappointed.customer.
This place needs work. Just always seems overwhelmed. I feel like Im bothering them instead of being helped sometimes. This location is the closest to my home but I go elsewhere.
Very rude pharmacy tech. REFUSED to transfer a presciption the same day. Says it takes 24-48 hours!!!! Went to another CVS. Got it the same day. Forget this pharmacy. They lie.
Typically very rude and self-righteous at the pharmacy. Not at all what I would call customer service... Argued with me when I arrived to pick up a prescription. My doctor had faxed it in and they claimed I arrived too quickly (about 30 minutes later) to be filled. Told me to drive around the block for 20 minutes and then come back. Just rude.
The staff at the pharmacy were rather impatient and rude and didn’t seem to care. And the wait time was unreasonable.
Photo service. Completed on time, nice staff member.
This CVS is the best one i have been into this cvs location for many times have never had a problem with their staff members.
Typically this pharmacy will make you wait a very long time for unknown reasons. There is always an unusually large line and it appears that each time you go to pick up a refill, no one knows where to find it. The staff however have not been rude, but the wait time is inexplicably awful.
My oveall experience wih the pharmacy at this location was not good. I dropped off a perscription and told them I would wait while it was filled. I was then told it would take around ten minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes, I had to ask at the register if it was ready. They had forgotten to call me when it was ready. I could have waited much longer. Also the staff working at the pharmacy was unprofessional and could at times be heard cursing behind the counter.Next time Ill take my perscription, time and money to Walgreens down the street.
Bad service
These guys are awful. Pharm is a mess and slow. They even refused to validate my parking. Avoid at all costs.
The pharmacy here is understaffed and slow. Depending on who you get they have been rude over the phone. There have been exceptions but I havent seen those staff members lately.
Its a CVS. What else is there to say?
The pharmacy is extremely slow...
Worst customer service
Hate the way they talk to customers, extremely rude!!!
Decent

Those who are in the pharmacy are terribly heavy. God walk with a face that cannot be asked anything. It is terrible. The service is terrible. I would see a change in the staff. They do not clean the basket where they put the medicine. They are all terrible.
Very poor attention from workers
