When you order in the drive thru, I guess you need to tell them you want to use your reward redemption at time of order and not when you click the redeem button on the app when you get to the window. Super annoying. If that’s the case, at least offer to cancel the order and reorder so the customer can use the reward. Literally the only reason I went to caribou

I frequent Caribou quite a bit at many of their locations. This location in particular is one of my favorites as it is easily accessible and the staff has ALWAYS been super friendly. Other locations are friendly, but there is something about this location that just is a notch above the others. Either way, no matter which location you visit/frequent, beats the hell out of any other “coffee shop” that isn’t your local “mom & pop” shop. Plus, their cup sleeves typically have some snazzy saying on it. Support Minnesota’s own!!!

Checked inside to get beverage and was told to wait until all the drive through get their drinks. Insane.

Always good. You just have to be specific about your order. Sometimes blended drinks can be a little icy.

Had a mocha and an apple fritter. Both were very good. My Ill came over $8.

I wanted a cup of coffee. They were closed with a sign posted on the door.

This is my favorite Caribou coffee it’s close to home and every time I come in they are so nice and make my day a little bit better. The drinks are made great and no matter what I get from a cooler, a iced mocha, or a smoothie they are all great and delicious with every sip I have never had a bad experience here.

The friendliness of the staff makes this one of my favorite Caribou shops. They are extremely welcoming and always remember to ask for my Caribou member number. If you need a menu recommendation, they can ALL guide you to something you will enjoy. The drive-thru has the standard signage but it is a bit faded. If you can order ahead online, it will be faster to walk in and get your drink, as this popular location can have a busy drive-thru. There is a quiet seating nook for working/studying in the back of the shop, away from the usual noice of business; it is closed due to COVID restrictions right now. The outdoor seating patio is west-facing and is open, however, it is hard again the front door and does not currently have sun umbrellas. (I dont mind, but those who prefer shade and more space might dislike the patio.) The cream/sugar station is right next to the front door, and is somewhat in the way as people enter/exit the shop.

We order from this Caribou often and they always have great service! Love it here!

*Was their yesterday. Consistency in making the coffee is not their one day its good next its not customer service needs work went through dry through my coffee came out and the guy was still helping other customers rather than taking my payment and handed me my coffee.*Was at this location a week ago. Ordered My fiance their hot mocha coffee once he was able to try it all it taste like was hot no flavor water. Consistency is not there.

The staff are always so friendly, but every single time I order a crafted press it’s not blended as it should be. I hate to be a pain, but c’mon😑 Its just not the same, and it’s frustrating when you pay over $6, the drink isn’t right and you’ve already waited forever.

I visit this store often and although the coffee is good the line I have to wait in and how long it takes to get my coffee is way too long. consistently I am waiting at least 20 minutes in the drive-thru regardless of whether or not there are two cars in front of me or four. I visited today and pulled up at 3:40 p.m. I did not leave until 4:02 p.m. I do not think I will be visiting this store again. I watched as my three drinks were ready waiting on the counter and instead of them bringing them to the drive-thru and handing them to me they waited for the persons drinks behind me to be made so they could bring them up at the same time.

It was so good and the lady behind the counter was super accommodating. I loved it.

What I want to know is; Why if they run out of soy milk why cant they go get more from cub foods right across the parking lot??? O plus if u want your drink to taste like white chocolate u always need to ask for extra white chocolate, never used to be that way. Sorry but the place has gone down hill ever since the drive-thru was added 😕 I could go on about getting rid of the really good workers but wont other then u should have paid them better.

Always out of cinnamon coffee cake, had to wait 16 minutes in the drive through then they got my order wrong. I have an 17 month old in the car so its not like I can just run in and get it fixed. So now here I sit for presumably another 15-20 minutes in the drive through that there is no way to get out of once you get to the speaker.

It really is hit or miss. The last two times have completely turned me off from this location. The first of these visits, I ordered 3 drinks. Only after they made them did they tell me they had no carriers. Not even an offer to help me. Only a kind customer opened the door. How can one person carry the hot drinks? Today I ordered a drink and the guy at the register acted like I was inconveniencing him. I used a gift card and couldnt even tell me what was left or offer a receipt. I just leave with a bad taste due to poor help. Drinks taste good though.

As far as a chain goes, its pretty standard. What I really like about this Caribou is that the staff is just soo freaking nice! Seriously, they are the best.

I come to this store pretty often and mostly have no issues, however, there’s been multiple times going through the drive thru that I received something totally different than what I ordered. As a note to customers: check your drink before you drive away with it.

Ignore the bad reviews... Ive been coming to this Caribou for almost ten years, and have always gotten spectacular service and drinks. The staff has always been welcoming yet speedy. Sometimes I get my drink before I even order.

The service was great and the coffee was good. I only wish that they had a caffeinated light brew available at that time.

They have great drinks, a great atmosphere, an overall well kept place, and its very comfortable and cozy.

I just went through the drive thru and ordered a large but as the clerk handed me the drink I asked if it was a large or medium. She would only smirk at me and wouldnt answer. I had to ask 3 times before she offered to remake the drink. And no apology either. I was the only car in the drive thru. Very disappointed in the customer service

They never make a drink consistent. I order the same thing every time and never get the same product. Some days it’s good some days it tastes watered down and awful. If I’m going to wait 10 minutes for my drink I definitely want it to taste worthy of that 10 minutes.

Every time I order through my app, they just don’t add flavor shots. 5 out of 6 cocoas I’ve had at this location have had no caramel flavor, whereas the one I visit in Eagan is always spot-on and I can tell the difference between having it added versus not, especially since I order with dark chocolate. They always seem to be out of standard bakery items as well, so selection is very poor and I often have to swap out what I ordered for a different dried-out item. I’m sure the staff is nice but my eye is on the cocoa prize! Lol

First time in drive through, but it was painful. I get having to wait for cars with fru-fru orders, but all I ordered was black coffee and even when I pulled up it took 3-5 minutes.

They tend to be slow. Last time all 6 kid hot chocolates seemed like they were watered down. For my drink the extra shot of espresso is usually missed. The only time I have amazing service is when Deb and Marge work!

Ive tried this location multiple times. I order the same specialty drink every time. Not once has my drink been made correctly. Most recently I went before a long trip and was given black coffee instead of the flavored mocha I always order. Very disappointed with this location and will not be returning.

I only go to the Caribou on 42 next to the Chuck and Dons in Rosemount. The staff is always friendly and they make your beverage choice quickly and accurately.

Pulled into the drive-in about 10 minutes before they closed. Employees were looking at me through the window but no one would answer. I know its close to time to close but if theyre still a cup of coffee thats all I was looking for. If you had nothing left just say that.

This location needs a refresher on ADA rights. Service dogs are not required to wear vests. The employee/manager was a tad bit rude.

Dont moose your drink here. Its a waste of money. I continue to go here because I like Caribou coffee. But Ive learned through the years to not waste my money getting extra shots because they never do it.

Just ordered a medium Almond Milk Turtle Mocha w/o whip cream (not an inexpensive option) and the drink was left with about an inch of space at the top. I usually love this location but today it left me a little disappointed.

This is a very cozy spot and the baristas are very nice, but they are EXTREMELY loud... its hard to get work done here so if youre looking for a spot to get some studying done, this isnt the place to study. I usually study at the Dunn Brothers in Eagan and the staff members are very respectful of their customers that are working and are not loudly yapping about their social life etc.

We love the cold press coffee here (waaaaaaaay better than anything at Starbucks). They do seem to frequently be out of their food options (breakfast sandwiches, desserts, snacks), so improving that planning and stocking effort would be a positive.

Has the wrong hours posted online by an hour. Drove 15 minutes to go there and realized it was closed. It wouldnt be that big of a deal until I tried to knock on the door to let them know the hours were incorrect and an employee rudely waved us away and mouthed a sarcastic bye bye. Never coming to this location again. Would give less than one star if I could.Also, the time I was in before the cashier didnt take off the coupon and ran my card and after it went through for the full time she said oops and never fixed it.

This location is so slow. It’s always painfully slow. I literally sat in the drive through for 20 minutes today. And the only reason I didn’t drive off is because I was stuck. I’ve tried going inside and it’s not any better. Avoid it and go somewhere else.
