Made a 1:30pm appointment. Arrived at 1:15pm. Still waiting and it’s 3:00pm. Very friendly employee but he’s the only one here. I had an appointment at the bank to sell my vehicle and felt 1.5 hours would be sufficient but it wasn’t. Had to cancel and reschedule the appointment at the bank to close the deal. Frustrating to see walk ins be placed in the same order as people who planned ahead and made an appointment.

I tried this place four years ago. After about 10 minutes of my car being taken in, the lady testing my car said I would not pass because of my aftermarket shifter (has nothing to do with emissions). I went some where else and passed fine. I thought Id give them another try this year. The first time I went in, I came in a bit late and was told to make an appointment because my car, being a 90s era vehicle, is more complicated to smog. I came in a week later for my appointment on my only day off, only to be told I could not be serviced because my car is too low. I explained to the gentleman that Ive been on their lift before with no trouble. He still refused and told me to try another shop but had no suggestions for a shop that could help me. I will not be giving them a third try.

Do not waste your money with anything beyond a smog test. My car failed smog at the EDH location and I was told by the woman there I had an emission system leak. I came to the roseville smog king to have it checked and repaired. What I got was a $187 bill for a minimal description of his findings (he did not give me his detailed info). He charges $125/hr...ADDITIONALLY, the clerk working the front BROKE my driver side door handle by yanking it super hard while it was locked. Needless to say they did not fix it or offer a discount. Instead blamed it on manufacturing, claiming anyone else would have broken it too... you know, except everyone who has opened that door since that moment.Overall, the clerk kid is rude. The mechanic is outdated. If youre new to town like me find somewhere else and dont waste your time/money here.

Called up to schedule an appointment and they are open Sundays so that was super convenient for me. I was in and out in 15 minutes or so and had a great experience.

Didn’t realize my registration said I needed a star smog check, found smog king online was in and out in 15 min. Went across the street to the DMV and got my sticker. I will be recommending this place.

Went in without an appointment was greeted in a friendly manner they took my information performed the emissions inspection I was in and out in about 15 minutes. As I was a returning customer they offered me a $10 discount which I appreciate. A few days later I received a postcard in the mail offering $20 off my next smoke check. Definitely recommend this place highly due to the professionalism and courtesy as well as a competitive prices.

The Roseville Smog King has friendly, efficient employees. I have only used this store for the last few smog tests. Very little waiting if you have an appointment.

Made an online appointment the night before and was in and out in 15 minutes. Also learned a little more about my vehicle and gained some insight to DMV certificate process. Use the online coupon for additional savings. I didnt catch the guys name but he was friendly and informative.

The staff here is very friendly and informative. I bring my old school rides here as well as my other cars and suvs. Never had any problems coming here. Leon here is also a very knowledgeable smog tech and explains in good detail.

Took my 1999 Toyota truck in for a smog on 6/10/19 with 146,011 mileage. Passed no problem. Took same truck in on 7/21/20 with 146,023 mileage and was told that they could not read the number on my catalytic converter and when I asked how it could have been read last year with a difference of 12 miles I was told that I must have gotten lucky and referred to a muffler shop to have the catalytic converter changed. I have since taken my truck to another Smog Business and told that my numbers are intact and legible! I am reporting this to proper agency.

Came here few days ago to smog my car. i waited in the office and the lady in front, angelica was super chill. funny and professional which made time fly by. ive gone to several shops throughout roseville and sacramento over the years but would definitely recommend this spot because the service was quick, friendly and welcoming. You can smog your car anywhere but the service is what makes a difference. Will return.

A fantastic place with a pretty good location. Went there on a whim after my wife had gone previously with only good things to say about it. They took care of my smog with relative ease while my son and I waited. The cost was better than expected with them applying a coupon I hat expected. Even though coupons are common for this industry, it is nice to have an employee be thinking about it upon checkout.Their website is far better than most in their industry with a simple navigation to get to what you need without all of the superficial coupons being shoved down your throat. Their branding is also pretty consistent throughout which is nice to see that they care about the details.Plan to visit in the future as needed.

Took my well maintained 97 Blazer in for the second time to Smog King, Roseville today. We have to make sure our vehicles pass a test every two years. The employees were the same as last time. Friendly, quick and courteous and for $60.00 I was on my way. Thank you Smog King. See you in two years.

The team at Smog King were so helpful and kind. Leon went out of his way to make sure my car was safe to drive and prepared to pass smog. It is an older vehicle but he did not perform more work than necessary and checked in every step of the way. The woman in the front office was also very friendly and helpful. Poor management I had an appointment set up on Sunday I spent an hour and a half maybe two the poor guy that was trying to help me was running back and forth trying to help customers I did not fail inspection at smog King the guy just did not have a chance to smog my vehicle running back and forth to the desk and trying too small to other cars at the same time so Aggie stated I failed smog other places and the problem was corrected I took my vehicle to Quick Stop Smog and their the technician dealt with my vehicle and my vehicle only my vehicle past thank you.. my 93 Corvette failing smog Im sure had nothing to do with one of the customers walking out while I was there I dont understand why you would even bring that up.

Ill be sure to come back when I need another vehicle smogged or my truck retested.I scheduled an appointment with smog king after I got jerked around by another smog place the day before, when i arrived I was greeted quickly by a woman who seemed to be running the place by herself (desk and smog inspections) atleast while i was there, she was knowledgeable,courteous and quick.

They are awesome, they dont over price you like most places will. Good year over priced me, never will go to them again. Smog King are friendly people too.

Great little shop. Despite being a crazy day for him, Leon fit me at the end of the day. He had about four times the regular client load for a Sunday, but his demeanor and customer service were stellar! Ill be back in a few months when my other vehicles come due for the smog check. :)

Very positive experience: They were courteous, professional and efficient. The technicians had my car smog test done quickly and were knowledgeable about online renewals. The waiting room was clean and they have wifi, but I didnt need to use it because they had my smog test done so fast.
