Friendly experience. I have driven by this place for years and never stopped by until today. When I was there I saw they have an outdoor sitting area, outdoor covered sitting area and a dive through- which will be convenient when I come back. They had a couple of vendors in the parking lot today which I love they are supporting local businesses. There was a flower market van and a jewelry table both super adorable.My coffee was delicious by the way.

Nothing like needing some good joe and breakfast after a long weekend. Today was the day after many drive bys and Ill go there one day.Long lines, walkup and drive through at certain times of the day.Recommend the seasonal flavor latte.The lavender latte waa bomb.We were a tad a sad that there was no omlettes. Panic breakfast choice.Would definitely go back.

Inside feels a bit compact, but more seating is available outside. Friendly staff and cozy vibe. Enjoyed the chai latte, chicken sandwich was good too! The bread was a little too crunchy for me (personally I’m not a fan of crunchy bread), but all the flavors were good.

Cool coffee and tea shop a bit compact on the inside, but outside sitting is available. The staff is friendly and will make your drink the way you want if you talk to them, my wife got a breakfast sandwich at 7pm and it was fresh and tasted good. Drive-thru is available, although its unusual, but its there.

Excellent coffee and teas in a cozy setting. The chai tea is delicious. Love that they have local beers on tap. Plenty of seating inside and out. Havent tried the food, but the menu looked good.

Amazing! Best local specialty coffee in Roseville. Staff is super friendly and warm. They have a killer breakfast and lunch menu, dog friendly patio, live music on Fridays AND local beer on draft. What more could you ask for.

This place has the best coffee and lattes in the area. Great place for studying and meeting up with friends. The staff is great and brings your coffee to your seat. If your in a hurry this place may not be for you as the food takes a while to make as they start making it once you order. The blueberry scones are a must try!

My first and unfortunately last visit here was not great. My boyfriend and I met up with friends here and we ordered a beer for him and a water for me and hung out for a while but as we were leaving, my boyfriend wanted to grab a water to go, so we went to the window thinking they would give us a water free since we ordered earlier but that was not the case. The cashier stated that the cup of water is 55¢. I mean we were just patrons and charging for something as trivial as a cup of water didn’t sit well with me and honestly goes to show how the company conducts business. With that being said, I completely understand that what COVID-19 has done to small businesses is detrimental but to nickel-and-dime paying customers is very, very bad business. I also didn’t see anything on the menu that made this place any different then every small coffee shop so needless to say I won’t be back.

Cant see anything wrong about this place! The Chai Tea was great and so was the avocado toast! Cant go wrong with that! Such a cute little place.

The reason I gave only 3 starts for this place was because of the rude staff . A girl I assume she is a barista there was very unwelcomed . Didn’t want to sell us coffe saying it’s too late (it was only 9:20). She was literally trying to get us kicked out of the coffee shop stating they’re closing earlier . When I wanted to use the restroom she said it’s already closed . Seriously? At 9:30pm? But another personnel let me in . I don’t know why she was so rude to us . Maybe that wasn’t her day but I couldn’t be an excuse . Cause they can loose their customers because of the rude and unprofessional staff.

Showed up a minute before closing, according to my phone time, and they said theyre closed. They had a full patio and I see an employee actually serving a table. So if you still are SERVING people, why cant I get a coffee to go a minute before you close? My family will never go back again.

The coffee is amazing, the location is super cute on the inside (especially for how unassuming the outside is), the staff is lovely and efficient. Tight inside but on a beautiful California day the outside seating area would be truly special. Glad I stumbled upon them!

I’ve been a regular customer for a few years at Shady. The staff has always been friendly and the coffee has always been consistently good. Recently, I’ve noticed a more unfriendly vibe primarily from the newer and younger staff, namely the younger girl with the freshly shaved head. I approached the walk up window the other day and was immediately told in a very rude tone “Just so you know, you will not be served without a mask next time”. Keep in mind that I am outside, and this same staff member just served a customer without a mask in their car in the drive thru without an unnecessary attitude.There are many great coffee shops in Roseville to choose from. In the future I’ll spare myself the misery of dealing with Shady’s uber “woke” staff and take my money down the street.Hey, Shady. Get woke - go broke.

I love the atmosphere here 😊 The Baristas are all so friendly and energetic. The place was hustling today but they were getting all of the orders in and done quickly, except for an (understandable) delay on some of the food. Theres a really nice covered, fenced patio in the back that both people and pet friendly.

They have so many drink options! They have coffee, hot teas, cold teas, so many flavors to choose from, they have Arnold palmers, beer, wine etc... the food options are amazing. I got their avocado toast with tomatoes and extra avocado and it was so good. The staff was amazing, they allowed and loved my brothers non service dog to come I and stay. The seating is either pretty open in the outdoor area, or its more intimate and cozy indoors.

Tried the Thai Lime iced tea which was delicious! Definitely great sitting on the side patio in warm weather but there is inside seating as well if AC is needed. Good selection of different pastries as well as a menu so theres plenty to return to try on my next visit.

You can sit indoors or outdoors, good drinks for fair price, with some pastries or snacks to choose from if you are hungry. The staff is mostly young hip adults so they are really chill. Best time to come is on week days since weekends is normally packed with students studying or having fun.

Probably one of my favorite places in the world, delicious food and drinks and wonderful service. Beautiful ambience as well, I have invited friends to my birthday party several times on the back porch, just a few people so we don’t overwhelm the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The mocha is to die for. Their bagels are also delicious and probably homemade. Youll pay for this delectable time, but its honestly worth it. The inside is tiny, so we sat outside -- they have a porch fan for warm days and varied seating options. I loved the community atmosphere of the long table in the back: multiple groups can sit at the same table, so it feels really friendly and open. Go, eat and drink and have deep and artsy conversations.

Nestled just away from downtown, this quaint coffee shop is ideal. From quality beverages to healthful food choices, it has anything you could want at a coffee shop including beer. The outside seating area is comfortable in hot and cold weather.

Ive wanted to like this place cause its so convenient and its a cute little coffee house but Ive tried 4 different times. Not once has my order been timely or correct. A large looks likes a small and the young kids working all look like theyd rather be somewhere else. You pay as much as you would at a Starbucks or a Petes but the service and quality isnt the same.

Very small but very cozy. Bathrooms are a mess. Service was okay. They seemed bothered to be asked extra questions. They are used to College kids who are on their computers and keep to themselves.

I love this place but if you are looking for blended drinks you wont find them here. It has a great little dark nook with WiFi for your laptop. They have a large outdoor patio out back as well. If you are in a rush they have a drive through service. All you need to do is stop your car just outside the front door in the driveway. Look for the stop painted on the asphalt.

Used the drive through with one of my daughters, on our way to do some yard work. I had an awsome latte and some toasted sour dough bread, with this amazing avocado spread. Service was courtious and quick. Yum!

Ive been driving by this place for years and never thought to come in. My sister took me here and can I say its so great. Fast service, great food and coffee. Looks like a shack from the outside but the inside and corky and fun. Will visit again soon.

This is definitely a hipster coffee shop. Not a lot of space to hang around in. Pricey for basic beverages. Not many options. The decor is nice. They have an outdoor area that I havent seen yet but it seemed like most people went out there so it must be nice. It attracts a younger crowd. I havent seen older people visit. There is a drive thru. There is a parking lot. It only has 3 spaces so youll have to park on the street. Hope you know how to parallel park!
