Have been going here for years for all my special project needs. But its not a place to have a difficult screening job done.First off they charged me $48 to do a 30x48 screen with a 6x9 door in it that high, but agreed since it was a special job.When I went to pick the screen up there were two corners that the screen was buckled really bad and I told them it was not an acceptable job. They said that was the best they could do and other people accepted that king of work.Manager said the best he would do was refund half the $48 dollars they charged me in advance, because they had labor into the job. Get that! Charged me for doing a poor job.

Had a couple gentlemen in the screen and window section come in clutch today! They worked with me to figure out how I was going to replace a broken piece of glass on my mobile homes back door, and it worked like a charm! Thank you guys!

Found a 10x10 shade canopy for $79. and I got the same thing from Big 5 for $150. so I would say that Roseville Ace Hardware is way cheaper. Thank you for saving me a grip of money

This is my go to ace hardware store! The associates are friendly and helpful. I had a coupon and the clerk was patient with me which made me want to spend more money lol. Good sized parking lot. Good selection of items in stock, especially for bbq season!

Always a good place to good looking for different things like cookware, gardening and basic household upkeep. Always helpful in helping you fine what your looking for. Sometimes would rather good here than the big box stores.

This is one of the larger ACE Hardwares Ive been to. A large variety of various items to spend your stimulus check on.Pretty good selection of Stihl tools on display along with a good paint department.

The help is great as is the selection: smaller than the big-box stores but somehow more selection (of what I go to a hardware store for).

ACE is one of the few places where I can get the salt I need. However their shelf stock is always low. The staff is always courteous and helpful though.

Not a great place to go if you value your freedoms. I was told I would be kicked out of the store if I did not put a mask on. Then, after telling me they would give me a mask, I walk up front to get a mask so I would be allowed to make my purchase and the manager told me he had the right to refuse to let me make the purchase. So I put on one of his masks for 30 seconds to makes my purchase and the took it off and threw it away so it can be added to our carbon footprint.Take you business to Home Depot where they dont enforce masks!

Recently we needed to replace a window screen. Ace Hardware has a marvelous screen repair/replacement shop on sight. They were extremely helpful, the cost was lower that other options, and the end product perfect! I would highly recommend this service.

Bought several bags of planting mix(really great price with the rewards card) which a gentleman loaded in my trunk for me.

Went into Roseville Ace Hardware with my mother to buy a Stihl Chainsaw for my dad for a Fathers Day gift. Waited on the aisle for an employee to come help us for 10 minutes, still no help (and they were not even busy) finally had to go find an employee, wait another 10 minutes for the employee to go in back to check if in stock, NOT in stock. If I would have acted like I was going to steal something Im sure they would have had an employee there in seconds though, what a joke! Had to take our business down to the Emighs Ace Hardware on El Camino to buy the chainsaw and we were IN & OUT of Emighs Ace Hardware with the chainsaw & with them even assembling it in LESS than 10 minutes! Roseville Ace Hardware has HORRIBLE customer service, Flat out LOUSY.Emighs Ace Hardware on El Camino Blvd in Sacramento is a GREAT store with lots in stock, very friendly & helpful employees and WELL worth the extra drive to that store. Emighs Ace Hardware was a busier store and still had WAY better customer service than the Roseville Ace Hardware that was NOT even busy and we waited and still got no help until we had to go find it. Guess Roseville Ace doesnt want our money. Our whole family will NO longer buy anything from Roseville Ace.

So my husband and I stopped in to make a quick purchase at Ace Hardware on Harding Boulevard this evening. Let me just say I have never been treated so rudely by two young men and my entire life. I had a mask on my husband hadnt got his on was still carrying it in his hand we both have health conditions and really are not required to wear a mask.These masks Nazis however didnt bother to ask any of those questions just started yelling if youre not going to put on your mask were going to call the police are you serious ! Anyway never going back and let me just finish this by saying I have been in the dental field for over 30 years and and can tell you if you read the back of the box of masks it says not effective on viruses !!! Wow... 😒

Kind of a disappointment. The needle noise pliers we were looking for were locked up in a glass cabinet and worked for someone to help for a good 5 minutes before we just left a d went to a big box store that trusted its customers to look, and hold the tool all by themselves.

Great service, old fashion hardware store that you can find special items that cannot be found at the home center. They had a great selection of hickory hammer handles. I was able to find the right replacement handle for my California framing hammer.

I lost a programmable car key, they took car of everything! Ordered the key, programmed it and I was good to go.

Your Roseville,CA staff at the location were not accommodating to a person with disabilities. I am permanently disabled with multiple spinal injuries, degenerative diseases, a recovering cancer patient and with crippling arthritis. They surrounded me in the store, knowing I cannot wear a mask due to lung damage from AVBD treatment from cancer; this act of intimidation should never be acceptable for ANY business. They advised I could not buy anything there, in which I understood and continued. I advised them of my condition, not that I needed to, but out of courtesy and was polite the entire time I was there. One of your tall employees decided to take it upon himself to intimidate me by standing within inches of my face for several minutes, while the other 3 watched without saying anything; a clear violation of the 6 foot rule. I was forced to crouch down and hurt my back in your store trying to take a picture of a part number so I can order online because your website is garbage for hardware searches. This tells me this is not about employee safety, but customer obedience to a rule I cannot safely comply with. One of the employees standing around was not wearing a mask at all, but a face shield, which is not the same thing. Upon leaving the area, the employee that was bullying me stated to his coworkers, I think you guys can handle this (profanity). This is completely unacceptable behavior, customer service and this should not go unpunished. I am disgusted with the treatment and am a long time customer who has spent thousands in ACE, specifically this location.

I like this place, its an easier to go in get your stuff and leave. They will help if you ask. There not as big as the two more popular big ones, however, they do have cashiers as opposed to self check out that usually needs help from someone anyway. I just find it an easier place to shop, but not as close as the two big ones.

I love this place, I rather go there than to have to drive across town to one of the big box stores. I even saw a couple friends of mine from high school there.

I went to get 2 keys made a found a doormat with a W. They do not sell patio shades.

If home depot dont have it these people do so why go to hd when you can go to ACE first

Ace Hardware is the best hardware store to get amazing customer service. I came in for one thing and I got superior help in picking it out and sizing it for a specific nut that I needed. I also asked about another paint item and he spent several minutes explaining to me and helping me find the right product. This is the place to go if you have questions and need help and assistance for your hardware needs.

Only given in a three-star because they most of the time have what I need but most of the time they do not have what I need inventory has been very low staff have not been very friendly or helpful or supportive its a good thing I know most of the stuff on my own.

Went to cut a key and they cut it wrong which happened before and the employee fixes it, this time the fat guy just decided to be a genius and claim that its a bad luck and deal with it instead of fixing the problem like they should, simply an employee dont want to work and after that tells me Ill never understand like he talking about rocket science. Bad management at this location, always wanted to help a small local store, Ill stick with home depot.

I come here a lot and always get great service. They have a wide variety of products and a lot of specialized hardware with fair pricing. They are the only (brick and mortar) place I can think of that is fighting the disposable economy by providing the means to fix something instead of replacing it.For example, in my last visit, I showed up with my crock pot lid that had a broken handle. The excellent staff walked me around and we found a screw and knob combination that recreated a perfect handle.

For such a small place, this awesome store sure is a helpful place, went to home Depot the same day they had me set on a wild goose chase just for a pipe fitting, when I got to Ace Michael helped me with every way possible to make sure I got everything in order, love Ace...

Since I sold my house 16 years ago I havent needed them as much. But I recommend them to anyone looking for anything. The people are kind and patient and eager to be helpful.

Unlike the big box home improvement stores, they have employees active on the floor asking if you need help finding anything. I always go to an Ace first, and only go to a big box store if they do not have what I need.

They go above the minimum to help. You can order what you need if its not in the store and they have it in a couple of days.They fill the gap left from the big box stores.In stock they have a greater variety of items than the box stores . From nuts and bolts in chrome and normal metals to canning supplies and seasonal decoration.They still copy keys by hand, not automated machines.Also the only place to buy Holy Cow cleaning products. Environmental safe and extremely effective. I recommend the pink cleaner. No odor. Very concentrated.
