Suburban ace hardware is by far the best one. It has a very pleasant environment and the staff is wonderful. Sawyer helped me find exactly what I needed and it was all perfect even when I wasn’t even sure exactly what I needed. If you are in need of any hardware things I’d 100% recommend stopping by here.

I am grateful to have such a knowledgeable store in my neighborhood. When purchasing a wrench for a leaking pipe; the gal at the counter not only asked about my project but pointed out I was buying the wrong wrench! I followed her suggestion and had it fixed in 15minutes.In the last month I have also placed 2 online orders and picked them up within a half hour. Since I am not tech savvy I need to be careful that my order was for the correct ACE. I noticed it switched locations on me since the it gives you the closest in stock location sometimes. While this is not my preferred option and computer systems can sometimes be wrong it is nice when in a rush.I consistently had great customer service in the last 5 years I have lived in the neighborhood.

Checked the Ace website for an item and was told that this store had the item in stock. Drove there -- none in stock and no offer to help get what I needed. No offer to check when more might come in, no offer to order one for me, no offer to check inventory at nearby stores. Nothing.The only helpful comment I got was that the Ace website is always wrong about store inventory.I had planned on buy two other items, too, but took my business elsewhere.

Very helpful staff, Im not a good DYI person, but when I go into to this location, I have always been pointed to what I need or staff may give me a better idea.I have been closer to another hardware store, but I enjoy going a little out of my way to be at this space

Seems to be well stocked, but its small and kinda messy. Even if the website says something is in stock, dont count on it. But this location is good in a pinch.

Old school hardware store with people ready to help even if it is just a $0.25 nut. I hope people continue to shop here. You might save 1% someplace else but pay for that savings in lack of knowledge and lack of willingness to help

This place is great. They have most everything you need to get the job done. Its a convenient location in the neighborhood. I bought an old used snowblower from them. Not the greatest thing some people would want but was perfect for me. Had an issue after a few uses brought it back in and they fixed it for free. Works like a champ now. Mitch and Neil are great. They will get plenty more business from me.

Mitch provides some of the best customer service Ive ever had in any sort of shopping situation! Helped me find all of the items I was looking for and was very attentive and interested in the project I was working on. While their prices may be a bit higher than HomeDepot or Lowes, it’s really nice to get the help you need right away and not have to spend 10 minutes just finding the right person to help you.

Good selection of whatever hardware stuff u need. They make keys as well (maybe slightly cheaper & more of a variety compared to H.Depot). Lots of parking space right outside the store.Prices are reasonable & the staff there is helpful.Overall, a Good place to shop !!

The parking lot is always bustling, a sure sign that customers are happy to depend on it. Today, a small farmers market was set up on the corner. This Ace location has been successful for years, and will be for many more.

I bought a used snowblower here, arranged for delivery later in the week. I got a call the day it was supposed to be delivered... they had accidentally sold the snowblower to someone else! This mistake could have gone sideways in any number of ways, but Ace bent over backwards to make it right. I cant think of a better customer experience Ive ever had. Im very impressed with their commitment to serving their Roseville community. Theyve earned themselves a loyal and enthusiastic customer.

I want to highlight the small engine department downstairs. These guys are excellent! I do not trust anyone else with my Stihl products. If I am not able to repair something, I take it right to these guys. Bill and his crew always make my experience a positive one.

I like supporting smaller local businesses. I love the customer service at this Ace Hardware. I bought all my Ego stuff here: snowblower, leaf blower, weed whip and Im headed in for a new mower soon. Its nice to know the staff (from my frequent visits) and feel like you will get honest and helpful service. Yes, you pay a little more but you also support a small convenient business in your neighborhood and can trust that you will get service after the sale.

This store has one of the best, if not the best, customer service experiences in the cities. They are so friendly and helpful, I cant get more than 2 feet in the store before someone asks me if I need any help finding anything, and I really appreciate that

Everything is perfectly merchandised and organized here. The space is equally well stocked and I purchased what I needed in a timely manner. The staff were reserved and kind.

The ONLY shop I will bring my power equipment to for repair. I am treated with respect (not like they are doing me a favor) at the counter. The work is done well and for a good price. The employees in the store seem ready to help whenever I visit. My Honda mower and 26 year old Honda snow blower thank them for their care.

They manage to stuff almost everything you will need for any sort of home repair project into that store. And you will never need to wander around looking for someone to answer a question or help you find something. Very well staffed with helpful people.

We love this Ace hardware! Very helpful and friendly staff. They hold great events for the community too. Today there was a petting zoo, pony rides, pumpkin painting and great snacks/beverages all for free. So much fun!

They have pretty much everything you need. Plenty of staff to help with whatever questions you might have. I was sick of fighting with my old snowblower so I broke down and bought a new one today. I was assisted by two nice young men and in and out in no time. Mission accomplished.

Suburban Ace has really helpful and friendly staff and is great with recommendations and getting you what you need for whatever project youre doing. Mike goes above and beyond to make sure the community has what we need when we need it--like being well stocked for ice melt or sump pumps. Great service!

Had what I need all the time

Poor service. I brought a window into be fixed and they told me it would take two weeks. After three weeks, I went in to check on the status and they told me just two or three weeks me. They left my window unfixed for a month and never bothered to call and tell me that they couldnt repair it. There was a note on it to take it elsewhere but nobody followed up.

Excellent service, I would refer this place to all co-workers, friends and family. Mike and Bill are patient, willing to answer questions and are willing to help. This is the best place to get whatever you need. Excellent customer service. I will always come back. Ace hardware is the best place and their customer service is AWESOME!!!

This is my neighborhood Ace and I love it. Im routinely surprised by how much they have despite being very small. I rarely have to make the trek over to Menards or Home Depot. The employees (more so the older ones than the teenagers) have a lot of expertise. Im terrible at home repairs, lawn care, etc., but the folks at Ace are always there to talk through what Im trying to do and tell me exactly what I need.One thing to be aware of is that they close pretty early (6pm I think) on weekends, which can be inconvenient. Im glad they do because it means their employees can have some time off, but you need to be aware that you cant just pop over there at 7 or 8 pm when youre working on a project some summer evening.Also, they have a popcorn machine and you can help yourself to a bag whenever youd like.

I like shopping smaller neighborhood stores. Granted this is metro chain. They typically have everything I need. But do not carry the variety of items found in big box stores. They tend to carry the odd things you are looking for and it is amazing how much fits in this relatively small space. Dont expect a womens opinion on anything, but the guys are fairly polite, if a bit condescending at times. I went in to buy a snowblower which I had researched carefully. I went in to check what they had and found they carried the make and model I wanted, at a reasonable price. The gentleman started in on a lecture and questions about what I actually wanted. I told him I know what I want and need and this was it. He tried several times to clarify what I really needed. I finally just rattled off the features that made this model my best choice and he either got it it just gave up. Pretty sure if I had a Y chromosome I wouldnt need to go through this song and dance. When I returned with my other car to pick it up, a different guy started in on the same routine. I just told him to save his breath, Id already paid for it, I just needed to pick it up. He then went into super helpful dad mode explaining how to start it and maintain it, which I already knew. But shutting him up seemed more work. So I just thanked him for confirming what I already understood.

Problems and DeceptionBought brand new Toro $650 mower. After bringing it home I started it and it blew a huge cloud of smoke from being filled with twice as much oil as it should have. Brought it back and told them I wanted a new unit. When I returned I was told they have a brand new unit just put together. I then showed them a picture I took that proved the mower was the same unit. Jaws dropped! I called and talked to the new owner Mike and rather than apologize he told me there was nothing wrong with the original mower. I asked for a new Mower as promised and $100 off for my inconvenience and deception.He declined and asked if I thought he should take it out of the employees check. Nice Job Mike! another 26 year customer lost. Where is Uncle Dave when we need him.

All of the staff members are helpful. In particular, Bill went above and beyond to make sure he helped me with what I needed. I will definitely be back and will tell everyone about this for sure.

This store has friendly service. They have fixed the lawnmower for the Saint Anthony Park United Methodist church a couple of times and I think last time they did it for no charge, dont see that kind of free service much nowadays.

I was amazed at Ace having a part I needed that the big box stores didnt have. This place saved me hours of having to travel to a supply house miles away, time is money. Great place to get what you need!

Went here to purchase a few bag of 20 pound de-icer to treat sidewalk pavement, there bag is selling for 9.99 per 20 pound bag, but there website said it is 8.59 per 20 pound bag. I asked one of the retailer associate can they price match to there website prices and then one of there manager say they cannot match it. So I just left the place and took my money to spend at another competitors place for a way better deal. Will not purchase to plan to visit this location any longer due to no price match. This is how you will lose your customer. I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone due to there poor customer services.

Ace Hardwares are great for small stuff that you might need for house projects and gardening. You get more help than a big box store. The Roseville store staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
