What kind of music store doesnt rent violins to adult students? I can rent one for my son but if I want to learn Im just out of luck?Simply moronic.

Fortune has it that I ran into this shop. Nice mgr/owner who showed me around, looking into sheet music or catalogs as apposed to musical instruments. I cant read music but am interested in learning since I had a awesome music director at Grace while in their choir. I think it may be part of a Liberal Arts program. Sincerely motivated in the guitar lessons now- have had 2 good friends who could play all the instruments in a band.

They were a great help getting my Viola (that was in a closet for years) in good working order. I thought I would need all new stings but only one needed replacing and the guy showed me how to tell if the need replacement. They have a bunch of sheet music for sale that covers a bunch of popular songs

Overall: positive experience, they were up front about the time and cost of the cleaning. Their hours of operation are a little confusing but, communicating with them made it much easier for me to pick up. I am satisfied by the quality of cleaning done to my trumpets. While there was a miscommunication on their part about the cost of cleaning silver plated instruments, they were quick to remedy the price. I would recommend them as pleasant to work with and for providing quality service.

My daughters flute needed fixing. I walked in and they looked at it fixed the string and was not charged, even though I didn’t purchase the instrument from there store and they helped fix the flute. The place I purchased the flute from wanted to charge me $100 just to look at it and whatever they fix. I highly recommend this place . This is my second time coming to this store and will continue to come .

I bought a violin as a Christmas gift. The gentlemen who assisted was very knowledgeable and I am not. He gave me options on different things that could be used to keep it tuned. How to keep the wood nice. What selection of sheet music. Very helpful to a novice.

I went to the store with a guitar the fellow said they fix all band instruments and all orchestra instruments but they sent me down the block about a mile and a half to have a guitar fixed at Joes music instead. This was very thoughtful of them to not just send me away but refer me to someone who will fix the guitar thank you

Thank you so much to Paul, he was a very refreshing person to talk to. He helped me with an emergency string change on my cello. As well as tuned it and polished it and offered references for the future of my cello playing. Thank you so much agai. I will for sure be back in the future just cause of him

Booooo! Google search lists this as a business that does instrument repair but when I took the long drive for an instrument inspection / tune up I was told they werent taking in repairs. Was told see all these instruments we have to do pointing to the wall behind me. Was offered NO alternatives. Poor service, only in it for the East Side school rentals and sales. $$$$$ their interest, dont care about the customer. Poor them so much business they can turn people away.

I went here with an old music instrument, trying to get some info and hoping to get an appraisal on it. The man working in the back was more than happy to help! Answered my questions and gave me plenty of info. Very nice staff!

Their repair prices are reasonable, but I found two more pads on my clarinet that should have been replaced. Another trip back tomorrow...

Not treated very well. Brought in a violin. It needs work. The older gentleman behind the counter rattled off a bunch of items that could be replaced/repaired. Then he just looked at me. I asked if I could have a list of what needed to be done. He got out a sticky note and wrote down a few items, but no total. He acted like I was bothering him. I asked if he (Eastside) could do the repairs and he snapped back at me, not between now and 7:00 p.m. which is not what I asked for. I understood if I needed to leave it, but he even told me he did not want me to leave it. He told me it would take a week. I said okay. He wrote up the repair and we left. We then decided that we did not want to spend our time and money being treated this way so I went back in the store and he literally ripped the receipt out of the violin case and almost threw the violin back at me. Needless to say, we will not be back.
