I do not appreciate you wasting my time. I went out of my way to get to your location. Both google and your website list you as open. Both are easy to update when that changes. For example, when you are closed for inventory. Welcome to 2021. Putting a print out on your door and calling it done is a weak effort.
BUYER BEWARE! Their after sales customer service is horrible. I bought a chandelier and needed repair service. First, they couldnt locate the sales record - poor administration. I spoke with Michele, who was not the most customer centric type, who couldnt find information. Secondly, she claimed shed do further research and I never heard back from her. I spent over $2500 when I originally bought the chandelier and got this kind of treatment. Dont waste your time with this company, just not a customer friendly business.
I recently went in to purchase a ceiling fixture for the kitchen I specifically told her what I wanted and when I got home angry the electrician put it up it was the wrong fixture. It is very pretty and I kept it since it was already done. But not the point she never listened to what I asked for. I bet if she wasn’t on commission she would listen better! Her name starts with an ‘M’
Wonderful selection of lighting fixtures. Unique as well as tried-and-true brands and designs. Very helpful sales staff.
Great store for indoor and outdoor lighting. The customer service is Awesome. I definitely recommend this store.
Youre on your own here ...I came in and looked around. They have a good supply of all different kinds of lighting. After walking throught the store I decided to see if I could get a hand finding the type of lighting I was looking for - so I sought out an employee. I spoke to two different women none of whiom would venture out from behind their desk to give me a hand. I was told everything they have is on the floor and to just look myself. Not a very progressive sales model. I turned and walked out after mentioning my complete disappointment with the receptionist at the front door.
Great selection, clean store, slow service
Terrible..Price matched, then printed my slip. I noticed bulbs were wrong, lady proceeded to say, well nothing I can do about it till after the first, i closed out my register (within seconds of printing my receipt), and literally blatantly walked past me and out the door! Not one more word, just walked around me and my wife and out. My wife was shocked. I even said I told you while you were ringing it up these bulbs are wrong! Ignored kept walking..I hate giving this review, because after this, there was another lady in the back along with the guy that helped fill my order, and they were nothing but helpful and stayed almost an hour late to fix my issues.I then got home to a BROKEN fixture. So still have to go back. People that get paid commission just dont care.Ive been in the industry 16 years, and this was by far the worst Ive been treated by a sales person, and worst experience in a store that likes to sell things. She was super nice until running my card, then BOOM, Im leaving I dont care I messed up your order even though you tried clarifying before I was done ringing you out; i got my commission money Im leaving..Aside from going back to get my broken piece, I will just shop online. There are so many small things she could have done differently.. (The lady in the back said at the very least she was supposed to have stayed to verify we got our order filled)Again I really hate leaving this review, as there were 2 great people in the store, but for those that dont know, this is what to expect apparently.
I did not appreciate how I was treated here. I went in looking to order a recessed disk light and some under cabinet led tape lights that I had researched for my kitchen remodel. The lady who helped me disagreed with my choices and spent a couple minutes trying to push me into big led fixtures. I was willing to listen, but she never really took much time to explain. She then gave me some literature and told me to look it up myself and to call if I had questions. So weird. I dont know if she didnt know under cabinet lighting or if she thought a smaller order was a waste of her time.I went to masterpiece lighting with my kitchen drawings. They talked things over with me to make sure I was getting the right lights. They had strong opinions and told me the reasons why. They helped me lay out the strip lights and looked up all the parts numbers and then ordered everything. That is what I was looking for.
Rude sells people. The lady that was helping us literally told my family. It’s late and her brain had stopped working because it’s 4PM. She proceeded to say write your information down in MY BIBLE. So she could email us lighting that we might like. Let’s say, she must not use her bible because she NEVER sent us an email.... what is even more sketchy is that a person gave us a price quote to hang our light that we might of brought but didn’t have their business licenses to come to your house and install the light fixture. Just everything about these store seems very off.
Nice selection but we were virtually ignored by the staff who were manning a practically empty store. I was mildly annoyed I had to seek out a person to assist me.
After calling for an associate to assist me in the fan section, I was referred to as the “black woman” by the store greeter when the associate arrived and asked who needed help. The comment was loud enough for the entire front of the store to hear. I was shocked and mortified to be described in a professional business setting by my race, as there are many other descriptors that can be used for customers (ex. shirt color). When I addressed this with the associate, I did not receive any empathy or apologies; simply told the greeter just wanted to describe me so that I could be helped. Even if there were no malice intent behind this comment, defining customers by their race is untactful and unprofessional. Needless to say, I did not be make my purchase at the Roswell location.
THE place to find beautiful lighting for your home or office. Linda Schneider was so helpful and patient, and a real hoot to boot!
We loved our experience. Anne Melton was fantastic and made the lighting is selection easy. Thank you! I would highly recommend Progressive Lighting.
Total incompetence, lost my lights, then delivered to the wrong store, finally told they were in, guess what, lost again. I ultimately gave up, even the credit process was difficult. The sales folks are nice, the rest of it is painful.
First time at this place. Liked it a lot. Pricey but you can find a lot of nice stuff on sale. Sarah was really nice and helpful
Helpful and friendly staff and great selection of high quality lighting!
I spent over $4000 on light but Lorie couldn’t give us a discount. Business must be real good. If I had to do it over I would push for better pricing. I had to argue for a discount and was told to go price check on line and they would match. For $4000 sale why dose the customer have to do all that work?
Nice place
Awesome selection.. you have almost every style you may be looking for here. They proce match too which is great.
Kelly Smith went above and beyond to help my husband and I with extra chain that we needed. To start, she greeted us proactively and was very friendly. We needed additional components for a light fixture (that we didnt even purchase there) and we learned that Progressive Lighting doesnt sell extra chain like the one we needed. However Kelly still helped us and provided very insightful information. I am now eyeballing a new light fixture in the store simply because of her outstanding service. I will definitely go back to this store for any of my lighting needs because of her kind gesture. Ive read some of these other poor reviews so take note: ask for Kelly Smith when you visit. She is top notch!
Progressive Lighting is not a trust-worthy company, avoid buying from there, even if they promise you good deals.1. They do not give you a clear written policy for servicing their fixtures, or fixing their own installation problems. Even when asked.2. Their procurement department promises price-matches, but they end up taking forever, to the point, where the other deals you could have received are already gone. Then they do not honor the price-match.3. Unreliable: They will tell you they are working on something and will get back to you, but they never do (e.g. Andrea Sims).4. There service department does not have any way of communicating with their sales department. So when the service people arrive, they actually are not sure what they are there to do, and then do not have the equipment or the replacement items.5. I had an technician come in to say that he is not allowed to do the fix that he was sent to do, and I had to talk to sales again, and I was able to get that same technician back weeks later to do the same job (which he initially said that they need someone more certified to do).The folks that work on the SHARP home builder account are untrustworthy (Angie Jackson), and will make up a lot of stories just so they do not have to fix what they are supposed to.As others mentioned, avoid this place at all costs.
Jessie and Linda were a pleasure to work with!
Two stars because of customer service - I noticed there were lots of sales associates greeting certain customers, but I got no greeting or offer of help. I felt marginalized. I lost my husband a few months ago after 33 years of marriage, and it is a good day when I get up and dressed! I did not dress up to go buy a lamp. I will say that one sales associate (Mindy) was a sweetheart and tried to make up for the more arrogant sales help. The store had a fine selection of lamps and lighting, but alas I will not be back.
DO NOT SPEND A DIME!! Horrendous customer service!! I drove 45 minutes to meet my mother at this store. Arrived 7 minutes before close to see my mother being escorted to the door and asked to leave due to it being closing time. She asked if she could just show me the chandeliers she had picked out for my home. We were then given a dirty look and followed by the sales lady being told twice in the 3 minutes we were at the lovely establishment that “WE CLOSE AT 5!”. As we were walking out the door (AT 5!) I glanced up at a light and paused only to be “greeting” my a man in his coat with keys in hand telling us they are closing. We left and will be going elsewhere. I have never been treated so rudely. Note to store, if staying open a few minutes past to make your store 1000s of dollars isn’t worth your staffs time, then may I suggest you prepare to have the lights on all your overpriced fixtures turned off permenatly because that will not fly in Roswell!
Best burgers in Detroit. Go early to avoid a wait to be seated.
Very poor customer service. No one offered to help us or ask us if we had any questions. We talked to one lady and she said she wasnt a sales person...only offered to get a sales person when we said we were leaving but it was too late then so we walked out...very unprofessional!!
Easily one of the most beautiful lighting stores in the southeast.
Great service they price matched saved money
Cool place!!!!
Great customer service! Thank you for your help
Horrible customer service, even with customers that are buying 10K plus worth of products. Do not trust their warranty, they do not honor it.Like others mentioned, avoid this place as much as you can. Spend your money elsewhere.
Staff members don’t know about products
If you need a very large chandelier... look no further.
Nice stuff
No one ever greeted us and after walking around the store for 45 minutes we left and bought what we wanted at the Sugarloaf location.
Great service
Worst customer service ever!!!!...i bought over $3000 and when i came back for a missing part...no one helped..sales people are like used car salemen...trashy and rude
Rude workers. Completely ignored. I had money to spend so I went and spent it online......
