My father who is 89 has always wore red wing boots. Due to a accident he can no longer wear them. We exchanged for a different pair and paid cash for the difference in amount. Unfortunately he could not wear the new pair either. Redwing will not refund him his money, they will only give store credit.

They inspected them, confirmed the defect and credited the boots back toward a new pair no questions asked. I cant say enough good things about this team. Glenn and Angelo make the customers end goal #1. Theyre product knowledge *is extraordinary.* Angelo called out my Red Wing 3508s as soon as I walked in. Angelo stayed an extra FORTY FIVE minutes on a holiday weekend to make sure the last customers needs were met, even during these Covid times.In a previous visit, Glenn helped me through several steel toe decisions. I also saw someone ask to use their company discount for steel toes and get a false/composite toe instead. Glenn said, in Spanish mind you, Not even for my own mother. Which shows integrity to the Red Wing name and a true understanding of the industry.Listen, Ive reviewed a bunch of spots. Some I like, some I dont. But this particular Red Wing branch is one I will swear by anyday, anytime.

Came to get a new pair of boots and was helped by Zach. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me get a pair of boots that i would have overlooked if he wouldnt have explained the fitment and advantages to me. He even conditioned them for me before i left. My family and I thought this was a Buffalo wing store, but once we got there, we soon realized that this was a shoe shop. Regardless, we had a good laugh! Id definitely give this experience 5 stars 💅

In the past this store has been great but recently I have had some problems. I tried to go buy some new irish setters on my lunch break and when I arrived there was a big sign that said 2 customers allowed in store only. So I was denied access into the store and was ready to spend $200+ on some new boots. It was irritating because I get it if you have to follow covid rules...but there was one customer in there buying boots and his wife and daughter were in there with him (thats three people) they dont need to be in there with him just hanging out. Let the paying customer in that wants to purchase another pair of your boots and tell the wife and daughter to wait in the car. I waited for 20 minutes before I had enough and just left. At that point the store had lost my business. Going to try the burnet store and see if I have beter luck.

Angelo had to be one of the best customer service experiences I ever had. He was so friendly and didn’t make me feel dumb when it came to choosing my first redwing boots. My grandpa always had redwings and I know why now. It is because of the top notch experience you get, going into the store and speaking with someone like Angelo. Felt like I was talking to a friend. Summary: Very rude staff without any interest to sell whatsoever.Granted, the store was packed so i sat down and waited for my turn. No biggie, I’m patient and I can wait for my turn. When they finally came to me, the staff was just rude and they will not go out of their way to help.I had to remind them twice to show me a pair of boots and even then the guy started chatting with another client that had just arrived. At that point I was just completely ignored.If you are spending $300+ on a pair of boots, you ought to make sure those fit perfectly and you’ll need to rely on the store clerk’s expertise. This location’s employees lack the ability to provide that for you.My two cents, take your business to another location that are willing to provide at least the basic customer service

I purchased a pair of work boots and the feet are feeling well so far.

Had a wonderful experience. Sized and recommended options based on my needs. Ended up ordering a pair of electrostatic dissipating oxfords and good cushioned socks.Only downside was that the pair I tried on in store had an inner seam undone and now I have to wait around a week.

I dont write review unless they do something beyond. This red wing is the best one at of the other 4 locations I have been to in the Austin area. I was helped by this one employee I believe his name was Angelo. He was professional, helpful. Explain some options we can do for sole coshins replacement. Especially during these time with the whole covid issue. He didnt make us feel like were something to avoid. Friendly as always. We bought boots here about 4months ago, same quality service as normal. If you ever have trouble with the other store.... Come to this one instead. Guy needs a raise with the way he is treating us during these time. GG

Top notch service. Even buffed my work boots out for me.I have been to several red wing shoe stores. They have always taken very good care of me. Your prices may be a little bit higher however youre paying for the service and the quality of their shoes. To me that makes all the difference in the world. And I will be continuing to go there for all of my work boots. Its nice to see a company stand by their product.

My husband picked up some boots here and we were very pleased with the level of service and attentiveness of the staff. I highly recommend the Red Wings boots but they also have very nice quality orthotics and socks. I even found an orthotic support for myself that has worked wonders since I am a nurse and always on my feet. We will definitely be returning to this location in the future, thank you Red Wing!

I got an email from Red Wing for a free cleaning, oil, and lace replacement. Dropped off work boots on Sunday 09/24 with very friendly manager who told me he would call and that theyd probably be ready in a couple of hours since it was a slow day. It is now Tuesday 09/26. After never receiving a call, I stopped by the store @ 1:35p to check the status. Store was unlocked and unoccupied. Waited for a bit, employee arrived from outside with food, and was very short and rude. I Gave him my ticket and he, visibly annoyed, retrieved my work boots. However I noticed when I got home that boots are still dirty. Granted, these are work boots and are scuffed, but now they have been left with white residue all over them and I really cant tell that they did anything. Ive used this location for a while and service is normally great, but between the rude employee and shoddy cleaning job, Ill have to travel to the other location in Austin.

My experience at the Redwing in Round Rock Texas was an amazing experience. I was greated by Mr. Glen. With his help and knowledge I was able to find the perfect boot for me. I will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended.

This Redwing Store provides great service and I has honered the Redwing warranty on any repairs I have needed. Check them out the Saturday after Thanksgiving, they had some good discounts.
