I couldnt help but rush to my computer to leave a 5 Star review for Reggie and his team at U-Haul in Round Rock.We were in a bind and needed to rent a truck fast to move some a large item we just purchased. Not only was Reggie super friendly, but he helped make sure that I had everything I needed and got me in and out fast.Everybody there was extremely friendly and the level of service was top notch. Hes not the closest to me, but he will be getting all my businesses in the future!
There are several U Haul dealers in there area. Do yourself a favor and choose another one.Im giving this advice to anyone who doesnt enjoy giving hard earned money to rude individuals.There were a few of us there when the store opened. We took our places in line as the two gentlemen helped those in first. As the rest of us waited the third associate came in obviously late for work and slammed their items on the counter and began preparing for the day. Im over there hoping fate would have me helped by one of the others. As you may have guessed, fate had other plans for me that morning. Ill just give you a quick summary.This individual is brash, rude, and condescending. The interaction went as you would imagine.I will include this. Brandon is a perfectly helpful and friendly fellow who greatly improved my otherwise frustrating experience.Get your moving equipment elsewhere.
The staff here is fantastic, Reggie helped get my truck and trailer all set up and taught me how to do it myself inside I needed to unhook or reattach anything. He even double checked everything before I got on the road when everything was fully loaded. Boxes and supplies are cheaper here than big box hardware stores too. Good luck with your move!
After going to 4 different U-Hauls keeta was a life saver due all the other locations were not very helpful and very short with responses she actually went the extra mile to calling places around and the main issue is my truck wasnt big enough to pull the vehicle I wanted to transport I dont know why I didnt think about it but she came up with the idea to rent out the box truck that matches the trailer transport and I was on my way! Thank you so much I will definitely be coming to this one only now great customer service !
I reserved on-line for pickup at a certain time, where I appreciate the concern from representative who called that I was not there at 7 I advised per mobile pickup states I could pick up at anytime. The representative was rude and proceeds to tell me now that I am on a recorded line and if the truck is not back by 11 then I would be billed another day. Mr. if you don’t like your job there is an easy fix, get a new one.
This U-Haul location is staffed with the rudest people Ive ever seen in a customer service setting. They were extremely unhelpful, condescending, and simply offensive.They seemed bothered I was there and asking for help. Just atrocious behavior, from the manager on down.Avoid this location at all costs. Use another U-Haul or better yet, find a Penske.
The manager Sal was incredible. When our moving company canceled on us he stepped up and helped us unload and store everything in our unit.I can not recommend this place more, 10/10!
So this happened today. I needed to get my Class C Motorcoach on board propane tank filled. So after doing an online search, I settled on this place. When I arrived they had a small trailer in the space in front of the propane station. I went inside and was asked how I could be helped and told the man behind the counter I needed propane. He looked out the window and asked “for the coach”? I said yes. He then said “well, my hose is not long enough to reach and I don’t want to move any trucks out of the way so you can get to it”. I just laughed at him and thanked him for his “service”. Yeah, I won’t be back to patronize this place for anything.

I rented storage a few months ago u0026 signed up online for payment reminders via text. I didnt get a text reminder but got a call from Uhaul on 1/5 telling me my payment was late in Jan, I explained I didnt get reminder, they waived late fee and I made payment.I got another late fee notice on 1/14, called and they said to disregard it. So now I dont trust Uhaul reminders u0026 set Google reminder to make payment.Day before Feb payment was due (still no Uhaul reminder received), I log in to make payment but website shows $0 balance due. Since their website had problems and triple charged me for moving services last year I figured they double charged me and had a credit balance but also didnt trust their website now so I took screen prints to prove this is what happened (attached).But this morning I get a late notice from Uhaul. I call local Uhaul number, they say I have to call customer service number.I call customer service, they want me to sign up for auto payment, but I dont trust their computer services at this point (I work in IT) and say I want to continue to make monthly payments manually, I tell them I have pics of website stating $0 balance, that Ill pay right now, and just want late fee waived. They respond they cant waive fee and that I have to call local store and give me that number (first number I called).I call that number again, they say to call customer service. I tell them I just talked to customer svc, and they told me to call this number, the local store. They explain that all numbers just go to next available call center agent, not the local store. They tell me I need to physically go into that store.Definitely feel like Im getting the run around. On my way now to Uhaul to wait in super long line with little hope this will be resolved to my satisfaction. WAY MORE TROUBLE THAN ITS WORTH, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
Dont use this location for anything. Nothing. Gal at the counter made a gross mockery of my last name. Calling me Mr. Spidermen. Even after correcting her, she continued using it with other employees right there in front of me. Ill probably get retaliated against for posting this review. Dont go to this location. Avoid it. There are other locations in Round Rock. You have been warned.
Brandon, Will, Joel and Reggie helped me and literally made my day. They listened to me and took care of my situation. They were all so sweet and had great customer service. Definitely will recommend this store to my friends and family in the area.
Came here to deliver my uhaul rental and had a very positive experience. It was fast and helpful, I didnt catch the name of the female employee but she was cool and helped me out. I had to put in some gas and there was one literally 10 seconds beside the uhaul.
My favorite thing about this location is the option to have 24 hour access. The facility is clean and well secured.I had a quick and easy experience with the employee who assisted me on my first visit and I appreciated his willingness to greet and assist other people while doing my transaction.
We had a reservation to pick up a truck but when we arrived they claimed the system was down and couldnt do anything to help us. Worst customer service I have ever received. He didnt do anything to help us find a solution just sat and said go home I cant help you. I will never rent from them again.
Terrible customer service . Staff were trashy, rude, and unprofessional. 2 guys and 1 girl were working when I was there, they had 0 care that I was a paying eturning customer, they wanted me out of the door so they could go back to clowning around with each other as if it was inconvenient to them that I was there. These guys were great! We originally had a reservation at another store but they werent there when we arrived so we moved our reservation to this store. Got there and they didnt have the equipment we needed that their system showed they had. So they gave us a $50 credit and called around to find another location that had what we needed. Super nice and went out of their way to help us out!

I went to fill my propane, today 08/17, 11:30AM, the employee there told me he has some work to do, he’s the only one authorized to fill propane and I need to come back after 20 minutes or to go to pflegerville, I came back after 30 minutes, and I waited him for more than 10 minutes to come help me, their customer service is so bad, no one cares, I asked fir a manger or supervisor, they said we don’t have, it’s a real mess.
The manager here has a massive attitude problem, treats customers poorly. Discriminated against a disabled vet. Keep that same energy in public little guy.

Reggie and Elaine were so helpful and polite! My experience was quick and easy with no problem at all. I had my dog in my car crying because mommy was inside the building and Reggie took him out to pee!! That was so sweet and considerate to me! I recommend this location to everyone!
After having an infuriating time trying to do my mobile pick up one of the employees came to check up on me and offered to take care of my pickup in store. After 45 minutes of online frustration they had me in and on my way in under 5 mins. Thank you!!!
Worst service. I did my appointment 2 months for a hitch installation, they change the appointment several times and finally I got one saturday 8.30 I arrived 8.20, nothing happens until 9.05 one guy told me, what are you waiting for ? Move you car? You need to wait another 45 minutes, there is another car before you. I asked for a refund. Service sucks. Very dissapointed

They had me up and running in about 20 minutes. I called ahead to see if a trailer I needed was available and they said yes. Then when I arrived, they discussed my situation and were able to find an even better trailer and then found a discount I could use!Super helpful staff and good selection. My only issue is the location. It was a little bit out of the way.
Ive used this Uhaul for putting on a hitch and they did a great job. I even came back when I traded to a new Vehicle and had to have my hitch ball adjusted and Gionne who was working at the time was super friendly and helped me out. Dude was just really nice and had great customer service. Need more employees like him. His service is what makes me want to be loyal to a business.
Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. Trying to get propane refilled, one customer in front of me who had been waiting there some time before he finally went in to get someone to come out. Attendant sauntered up while texting on his phone never said hello May I help you anything. Finished filling the one tank for the first customer, was asked if the tank was about low, he simply knodded and walked inside.... Never came back out to fill my tanks. I will never return to this location, and recommend no one else either. This is not the first experience like this for me at this location, the revolving staff is much nicer, the staff that work here on a regular basis are always terribly grumpy.
The staff was polite and very helpful. Manager and other staff helped me through a situation in a caring and professional manner. They went above and beyond in service and understanding. Yes, there are good people in this world. Thank you, UHAUL folks! Now I hope corporate is as great as you.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had renting a truck from U-Haul. Mobile check in did not work and I needed to go in and start the whole check in process over again. My truck was not brought to the front from the back lot until 30 minutes after I arrived. I was in a rush because the process had already taken 25 minutes so I am sure my impatience came through in my tone, but I never raised my voice and the woman checking me in loudly and aggresively accosted me saying maam you need to calm down. I will absolutely never rent from this facility again after this experience and highly encourage management to review how they train staff to speak with customers and prepare the equipment for pickup.
I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I love when I go to a place and theyre actually prepared and know whats going on. The truck I rented was clean and in great condition. They drop off process was just and easy because of the grea staff they have here. Will be using them for my living needs in the future for sure!

Elevator has been down for several days. Cost us an extra 3 hours with movers yesterday at a cost of almost $400!!!!!! Couldn’t completely clear out all of my items without elevator use so now I’m stuck with extra time in unit and I will have to rent a truck again to complete my move!!!! BS!!!

Joel Marquez and his manager Bobby charged me 200miles on an additional truck I never touched, and I only found out after the hell he put me through trying to return it. After making us go through a contract 3 times, the advertised dolly was not in the truck, and extended the time I was moving from one day to three days. The manager yelled at me when I asked about the missing dolly upon trying to return the vehicle and told me to ‘drop it off at any uhaul’. When I tried to do so, uhaul told me I would be charged over $500. Another location caught this Uhaul scamming me and thankfully helped me.Never NEVER rent here unless you are ready to be scammed for hundreds of dollars. This experience was insane.
Tried to over charge me for refueling gas when it was filled given their requirements. Thank goodness the manager sorted everything out .

Horrible experience! they had me holding waiting to speak to HR because the employee could not perform a simple task of canceling my old reservation and making a new one and they transferred me to a complete different location.
Stopped in on the 28th to pickup my trailer and their systems crashed so they couldnt fulfill my reservation. The guy I dealt with was very professional and tried everything he could to get me a trailer with no luckI came back in today, 30 August at 0925 and the guy at the desk was playing on his phone as I stood there for about 5 minutes while the other lady was helping a customer. The guy finally got off his phone and said what do you want I jokingly said are yalls Systems working today and he just said I dont know what youre talking about, do you actually want something. He continued to be extremely rude and unprofessional, couldnt fulfill my reservation and just said I cant do nothing for you.Had to go to the uhaul in palm valley instead.

The mgt is not on their game; not training staff well. They totally jacked up my reservation and because they did not set me up correctly with extra miles (after I asked for it) I ended up being charged over $250 extra. I got it back, but had to call corporate.

I recently had my 2008 FJ Cruiser serviced here for a 7 blade round rv plug and they were fantastic. I called in the morning and I was able to drop off my vehicle by lunch and have it ready by 3:30m. They were super friendly and very reasonable I would definitely come back here for my next vehicle! 👍

I had a 7:15 am appointment for wiring harness install. the told me they already had someone scheduled but i was the only person there except the old couple running the place. told me it could not be done at all today no explanation. I needed it done today for an early morning pick up of trailer for next day. cancelled everything and will never use U Haul again. Run as fast as you can from this store.Andrew

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! THE STAFF IS SO RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE (especially the guy with the nose ring and the red headed older woman)AND DOESNT EVEN OWN UP TO THEIR COMPANYS MISTAKES! We double checked the night before to make sure everything was good to go and when we got to the place the next day they didnt have anything for us and didnt even apologize for it!Looking at all the reviews its pretty much the same issue...so my advice would be to GET ON THE SAME AS THE REST OF THE COMPANY AND FIX THE NASTY ATTITUDE!!

My brother and I were transferred to this location to pick up our auto transport trailer from the uhaul off FM685. We arrived there spent 15 mins inside talking to employees about our trailer. Only to be told they just tented the last one out. There was another one on the lot but was told that was reserved . So even though you reserve one online days in advance they dont deserve it for you.
I was in and out within 10 minutes. The service guy at the desk was fast and straight forward of things, and pointed out what their new rules is.*** We originally booked with a Neighborhood U-Haul down at the Chevron at Old Settlers and I-35. We had to turn to this U-Haul Storage location because at the Chevron side we were behind a long list of line of cars waiting to do State Inspections, and not knowing how much longer we had to wait before they can get to us hook up the trailer (I can hook up, but still need them to do the paper works) and let us out.
We stopped with an RV to get our propane tank filled and this gentleman at the front desk told us that the guy in the shop could do it for us. The guy in the shop was taking a look at a car that he was working on and refused to help us stating that we would have to go get in line and wait for the person inside the shop. It was clear that he could do it like he just didn’t want to. 02/24/19 10:30 am.
Everything went fine with our reservation. Checkout went well, EXCEPT nobody bothered to tell us it was only an 8 hour rental, not a 24 hour rental. We have always been given 24 hour on the numerous times we have rented from uhaul. A woman called that evening from the store demanding an explanation as to why the truck had not come back u0026 we explained. She insisted she was going to charge us for an extra day. When I opposed that action she hung up on me. I finally got that issue resolved through the corp call center u0026 lodged a complaint. I then found out that they had debited the rental fee twice from my bank account. They said it was for the deposit u0026 it would be returned in 3-5 business days. When I initially rented the truck I was specifically told that nothing would be charged to my card til the truck was returned. Spent an hour of my day hassling with uhaul u0026 my bank getting that resolved. Moral of the story...ask lots of questions when you rent from uhaul because they dont tell you what the real deal is.

Be forewarned if you pay for a friends rental and your friend does anything that cost more money during that rental U-Haul will put you on there do not rent list until your friend pays for their additional charges. I personally have paid this additional fee on two separate occasions for the exact same fee of which I was never the responsible party. Because U-Haul cannot track it due to the fee not being in my name. I just went to rent another U-Haul only to be denied unless I pay for my friends $200 deficiency from 5 years ago for the third time. U-Haul you have officially lost my business forever

To start, the parking lot is a mess. I pulled in and had a very tough time finding a place to park because many were blocked off (for seemingly no reason too).The inside was a confusing disorganized mess. I waited in line next to a puddle that smelled like pee.Also the security guard at the door is a cut out, dont let it scare you.
