Max has been wonderful since day one. I had rented a unit as a contingency plan should things go as scheduled. I lost track of my move in day and Max made the effort and gave me a courtesy call. She is the reason I drive from San Marcos to Round Rock almost daily to get my merchandise in and out as well as pick up any supplies I need. Her customer service and contagious bubbly attitude makes my day and I’m pretty sure most feel the same.If there are any negative reviews on here about her or how the place is managed, ignore them. People must not know how to locate their bogus units on Google. I’ve seen her constantly with a cleaning cart roaming the floors and fixing what she can when she can.I’ve never had service like this where it feels as if we are family and well taken care of. It’s a breath of fresh air.It’s also not her fault that inflation occurs. My three units also went up in rent but it’s no excuse to taint her image and stop potential renters from actually feeling at home and in peace that their belongings are here!Thank you Max!

Max was such a gem! Knowledgeable, patient, understanding, flexible, willing to wait for me to arrive before the office closed for a few minutes and she helped me get the best price for storage online. She’s definitely looking out for me and my property and I trust her completely with my belongings. Definitely an asset to the team and the only thing during the moving process that was such a pleasure!

If you have a unit here go check it! I went up there today and another tenant told me to check mine for mold because his had it. Sure enough, my first floor unit had it and the second floor unit is starting to as well. They have cranked the ac up to 80 and its like a sauna. Not to mention less than 6 months ago we got broken into as well. I am really starting to hate this place.

My boyfriend and I are renting a storage unit for a few months and we had the opportunity to meet with Max to set up our account, talk about all the amazing security features they have, and how Max so diligently manages this location of storage units! It was a joy dealing with Max! We signed up on the site and Max let us know there was an issue with the listing and called to give us better options. When we went in person we were impressed by how organized and clean the facility is. Max went above and beyond. Im used to having to ask detailed questions about everything, but Max was on it and I didnt have any lingering questions. To the people complaining about lights and only one cart, that is not what I saw. Lights come on automatically and there were at least 8 carts available. As for insurance, if you are not covered under homeowners then they have an inexpensive plan available.

Max is the BEST property manager I’ve ever experienced. She has gone out of her way to make me feel at home at the public storage, down to calling me by name; as a new person in the city, that really meant a lot. She runs a clean facility and she helped anyway she could to accommodate with my disabilities, down to helping me get a first floor unit. She’s the gold standard. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Its clean, well lit and elevators can handle oversized items like couches and dining tables.

Expect Astronomical Rate Hikes and No Compromise!!Weve been here a while waiting for building to complete. This month, they raised our rent 31%!!!!! And no, they wont prorate the month if we move out. They instantly rejected our request for no/less increase, but never called back. The management here is NOT responsive like it was when it was CubeSmart. Theyre just mini enforcers of a corporate GREED MACHINE. Youll want to REALLY evaluate how much your stuff is worth to you if youre putting it here. You could probably replace it all for less.

The first thing is that the lights have not worked right from Day1. I have told 4 different people over the last 3 years and the reply is that something will be done to take care of it. Nope, still dont work right. More importantly is that they are raising the rate by 25%, but they have no available carts. The last person that I asked for a cart from laughed and said, We use to have a lot, but now we only have one because people keep stealing them. Ummm, no security then? If people can steal carts from the place, whats to stop them from cutting the lock off my door and stealing my stuff? I am getting my stuff out of there as fast as possible.

I was in a bind trying to move with my divorce/separation and came in so lost. Trena was there to help me with all my questions. She was so helpful and friendly. I felt at home and felt hopeful that this is the place to store my stuff until my divorce is final. I asked her questions with months and prices and she was honest and knowledgeable. She is a winner. I will be starting my contract March 1st 2021

Have had some things stored at this location for several years. The facility is great and Max is awesome! Had some questions and needed some help and not only was she able to take care of everything I needed but she did so with a smile. Thank you Max!

My storage unit was broken into and nothing was done.a couple thousand dollars worth of things were stolen out of my storage unit and public storage and the people on site have yet to even care to look at the video to find out who did it. Their insurance company told me I had to have receipts for everything that was stolen.little to say they just want your money and dont want to assist with keeping your stuff secure. I would definitely recommend finding a different storage facility.also property manager has yet to return calls or contact me in any way. Very very negative I would not store here.

I have no issues with the facility itself, except they have at least one sensitive, snowflake working in the office. Maybe she needs to rent a unit to use as her safe place. However, during the lock down and not working, the corporate office said they would ACCOMMODATE customers by accepting PARTIAL payments and if I received a letter claiming to be late or behind on my rent, to IGNORE it. I can tell you that this only lasted a couple of weeks, (if that) . I called to make a partial payment and was denied! In fact, they charged me a $110 administrative fee and a LIEN against my property. I thought we were all in this pandemic together? I feel that as a large corporation, they should be more than accommodating to those of us who have not been able to work, at least accept the partial payments AS I WAS TOLD they would, and allow us to get caught up financially. Im disappointed in their UNWILLINGNESS TO STAND BY THEIR WORD and help some of us that need a little time to recover. I have been renting from them for about 9 months, and this is my return? I believe they could do better to help serve the community. Not supportive, or very American in my eyes.I received a call from manager, Laura or Lauren, not to address my issue I had about them LYING to me, but I was addressed by the way that I spoke to Jennifer! Have you ever heard of such? Laura threatened to DISSOLVE my contract for speaking to Jennifer in a way that she thought was inappropriate! Sorry, I must have missed that part of the contract that said I wasnt allowed my First Amendment rights! Since when is it acceptable to LIE to a customer, and then have the BALLS to make a personal phone call, to tell me that I CANT call J a lying B? Is this how a paying customer is treated? Bad business, terrible customer service and a manager who needs to get over herself!

There is 1 exit/entrance, if that breaks down, there is no second entrance into building. My worker could not get in to get our supplies. Also this building is climate controlled, but 78 in summer months is way too hot. Set AC fan to on position this way air is at least flowing.

I found myself needing a storage cube temporarily, I didnt know what to do or how it all worked... I called this store and spoke with Ginny and immediately felt in good hands. All my questions were answered before I could ask them, I was explained every detail, and the facility itself is impeccably tidy and clean. The hours are super flexible and the staff is fantastic. If you need a storage facility, this is your place!

I had used this facility for several months when my husband moved in with me and we never had any issues until today (the day we moved our items out.) We had left our car in the parking lot so we could get our U-haul and during that duration when we were gone the manager had a tow company tow our vehicle to Austin costing us over $300 as well as valuable time that we needed to move. When we discovered that the car was missing the manager (Angela) had the audacity to tell us that we shouldve checked with her first before leaving the vehicle as if there wasnt ample parking and without consideration that it was only going to be temporary until we moved out our stuff out which lasted longer due to her stunt. Angela was rude and didnt even have a mask on even though though we are currently in a pandemic and there are several signs stating that masks are required within the facility. I am absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated and hope no one else has the same experience we have.Update 8/24: A manager of the company called to apologize but did nothing nor offer a solution to resolve the situation. They again kept stating that there was signage posted regarding towing to be enforced yet at the same time there is signage posted regarding face masks being required and the manager was not wearing one any time I spoke with her. It is absurd for the manager of the facility to selectively enforce one policy yet ignore another that is posted.

The lady who works at Aw Grimes location was so sweet amd helpful. Good job hiring someone who actually understands what customer service is all about! She should run the location definitely. Much better then who I had dealt with in the past. Ty

This facility looks fantastic. Looking for a place to store mother-in-laws property until she decides if she wants to downsize her home. I talked with Angela, and she gave me a tour and answered all my questions. The units she showed me where the cleanest I ever see. Her staff, (I think Ginny was her name) are super friendly and courteous. You dont find many companys that have dedicated employees like these two. I will definitely do busy with these ladies and Cubesmart in the near future.

The cube smart at this location is neat and clean and well organized.The General manager Angela Myers and Manager Ginny-Ann Thomas are really professional.Not even one time I felt mistreated even though I violate the rules by bringing the moving Cart back a little after 6 pm, wich is pass closing time, Ginny-Ann was nice to me.Angela was nice the entire time which made me wonder what other companies like At&t are doing and not following their example.I was treated nice for the duration I rented the storage.Best customer service experience ever.I will use this location for my future storage need and will definitely refer friend to rent Cubesmart storage unit at this location.

These guys are awesome! They really go out of the way to make you feel like you are an honored guest. The cost is really good! The security is fantastic! I mean it is super secure. Three floors to choose from and video cameras and keypad entry. I seriously actually feel like I made the best choice going here. To be able to go somewhere, especially for a sad reason, and to be so happy with it is a huge plus. I actually wish I could keep renting a unit there forever lol. Dont change anything guys. And upper management, those guys need raises!

Max the GM was great. He told my husband and I a ton of things to do around Austin since we just moved here. Super kind gentleman. I had reserved the last bottom floor unit, however there was a glitch in the system & it ended up being on the second floor. He apologized for the inconvenience and took us to see a second floor unit. We were very shocked at how clean, cool, and secure the units are. Above the unit there is extra space to allow cool air to get into the unit. There were carts we were able to use right at the entrance & an elevator big enough to put the carts in. In order to get into the facility you need an access code & to get up & down the elevator you need the access code. There are security cameras everywhere & they check to make sure your unit is locked every night. They require insurance for your unit Incase an event were to ever happen, but it is affordable & you can also use your own insurance. They do not allow food in units to keep mice out! They also have restrooms you can use during office hours & bottled water also! 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage unit. Very very happy with every aspect of the facility from customer service to our unit.

Angela took excellent care of me during my registration and during my big move into my units. She helped to quell any anxieties I had about the experience and was able to answer questions and ensure I would be in good hands.The facility is brand new, clean, and climate controlled. The staff that I have interacted with have been very helpful and very nice. They offer water and will help with the elevator. The units are nice and they try to make sure the unit is clean. The price was very reasonable to us and it is climate controlled.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction of my experience with your CubeSmart (251 North A.W. Grimes Blvd. Round Rock, Tx).My wife and I had previously been customers of CubeSmart at a facility off of Gattis School Rd in Round Rock a few years ago and it was a great experience.When I was looking for a facility recently, I chose CubeSmart because of that previous experience. I wish I hadnt.When I reserved a 10 x 10 space, I was told that I would get the space for free for the first month. Good deal, or so I thought.When I showed up at the facility, I was told the unit was a 10 x 10 space but had a cement wall bisecting the unit (made it less than 10 x 10...I informed Ginny-Ann that since this was not I had reserved, I requested a full 10 x 10. While she stated that she had one, she could not give it to me at the agreed upon free first month because that unit was not eligible for the promotion. Doesnt make sense to me.I felt at the time that Ginny-Ann did not take my concern seriously and was very condescending towards me. Not once did she express empathy or even try to make it right.If I need a storage unit again, I will be looking for other providers

The office lady was very rude and disrespectful to my moving company. Accused guy of blocking doors and other units, when after All he had a uhual truck inside removing a customers belongings out of a unit so of course it was going to block other units. Started yelling and using foul language. Then when my guy got hurt she called customer to state my guy was doing nothing for an hour, cause she was watching and assuming and trying to get my guy in trouble. Very bad experience with front desk lady. Will not refer customers to use this storage when they need a move. She had no respect at all and rude.
