After working at the hospital I normally come to this Meijer’s to do my monthly shopping. I never have any problems but today was different.I’m shopping and I go to the check out line. As I am scanning my things, the alert for an attendant appeared two times. The first time, it took about 5 minutes for the worker to come assist me although she was standing at her station unoccupied.When the second alert appeared, they didn’t acknowledge me. Instead they (3 workers) stood in a circle talking amongst themselves. I looked at my bill that was already $140 and knew I would spend $100.I walked out and thought maybe me leaving the things I gathered would get their attention.I am not a person who scans things and bag them up just to leave the store. However, after working 12 hours and being ignored when all I want to do is go home is insulting.Guess I will take my monthly purchase somewhere else.

Please stock shelves better. Havent seen saltiness in a month at state fair meijer. Got small trash bags for the first time in about 6 weeks as Im back again today on November 4th. Finally. If you dont stock it, I cant buy it.

I come to this store once a week, well stocked and nice employees but my one big issue is the fast check out lane. There is always one person going there with over 50 items when it specifically says less than 12 ! And the cashiers there never say anything! Either people do not know how to read or they dont care but an employee should tell them.

You could get out of there faster if all of the self checkouts or limited items express lanes were all open 🤗

Great selection of food & products. Wasnt busy & only had to wait for 1 person to check out, which is a rare treat these days lol.

Pretty clean establishment. The stock could be a bit better... But this location stays packed and busy. Overall, awesome place to shop.

Last night Cashier attendant helped me by guiding me to the other self service register because line was long for the one I was at and then asked for a spoon she told me where they normally have them (the deli) but she went in the break room and gave me two plastic spoons. Very, very, very crowded, so a long process to checkout. Imagine like most everywhere these days, difficulty having adequate staffing.But store well supplied and organized and given the large volume of customers, surprisingly uncluttered and clean.

I specifically choose to go to this Meijer because its in a neighborhood where a certain demographic is served. I was not disappointed. Great service, no long lines, product variety, I could go on. Only thing is it so hard to find if youre not from the neighborhood. I think thats the point😄

Went to do some light grocery shopping. It was great other than the lines being very long and only 4 cashier lanes open.

Checkout was fast even on a Sunday morning. Newly configured terminals eased the load. Always great produce, well stocked shelves and friendly employees at this location. A little big for my taste, but hey. It services the community well.

Not much to say about this meijer. Gas station was well maintained clean sanitized. Shells were fully stocked. Parking lot and surrounding area were clean gas station windshield wipers and paper cloths were stocked and available for use. Not very common!

The line is about 30 customers long, and cashiers are closing lanes… maybe they are short staffed, but then they should keep the other bank of self service lanes open.

Is a big store, and good to shop at but is ALWAYS out of stock and is very slow

I actually do not want to rate Myers pharmacy in Royal oak a one star. It needs to be rated zero stars and let me tell you why. Today October the 7th I was in line through the drive-thru pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I got in line in the Drive-Thru exactly at 7:50 p.m. there were two cars ahead of me and by the time I was able to get to the pharmacy window the pharmacy tech said sorry were closed. I said to her well thats not right because I was in line prior to the pharmacy closing. All she could say was sorry maam were closed and did not provide me with any other recourse. To me that did not make any sense. If the customer was in line and in time prior to the pharmacy closing you still need to service those customers who were in line and if anyone got in line after 8:00 p.m. then you could tell them that the pharmacy was closed. If you are trying to close the pharmacy at 8:00 then there should have been something at the drive-thru preventing cars from entering in so that you service every car that was in line at that time. I cant believe that I did not get serviced. I wonder if I was in the store would that have happened. But you can best believe I will be up there tomorrow to pick up my prescription and filing a formal complaint with the head pharmacist.

Very friendly staff all throughout the aisles. The self checkout staff could be a little more attentive and friendly. Nice, organized store.

My go to grocery store for a while. Everything is organized, staff is super helpful. Bathrooms clean be cleaner though. No issues otherwise.

Be aware....they do not let customers in the front door 6+ minutes before they close. Used to be open 24/7 but now they literally will not let u through the door to quickly grab a buns and check out minutes before their closing g time. Very disappointing, I never liked Meijer and prefer to shop at Target.

Meijer is always a sure bet. Great produce, great selection. Its a one stop shop if you need pharmacy items, clothing, cleaning supplies etc. No need to shop around wasting time.

Store was clean. Shelves were fully stocked.

I am a very long time customer of this location. Before the pandemic they were stocked much better, but this is not their fault. If ordering meat you will be better off purchasing it from the meat counter instead of the prepackaged products. The prepackaged items come from a different location and are packaged in a way so the fat is hidden on the bottom of the items in the package. Recently they started getting in prepackaged cut up melons so the customer no longer can pick a size that they want.

Well stocked. knowledge and nice staff. only a few people with only chin masks, but they will learn to cover their nose and mouth when they have to use a respirator!! very nice and reasonably priced produce. fast check out

The store is always clean and the staff is very friendly. However, whenever I go theyre out of at least one item on my list. Lately its been Stok Cold Brew, certain kind of P3s and Basil. I can literally NEVER find basil there. Dried or fresh, theyre always out of it.

I shop here regularly with my family..My only issue is with the costumer service department. I went in today and i guess meijer doesnt work with western union for money orders or checks.. But right there on the wall there is a western union clock?Was the worker with redish hair being fair and honest? Or was she just getting out of a little work?Cant get through to them through phone calls whatsoever either way

I use the shop and scan because it is faster. The workers do not monitor. Every time there is a shopper that uses it as a self scan. I don’t.even bother with that line anymore.

Theres hardly anyone there to help customers, the shelves have big bare spots. Hard to shop when the sales items are not available.

I prefer shopping early in the morning...I finally found some unsalted tops Nabisco crackers for mom. We should greet the workers at Meijers. You never know; you might brighten their day and put a smile on their faces. May God keep us safe and bless us all in America and the entire world.

Very easy to park, large and well stocked, clean, better than the walmart and kroger I went to in the last week.

Love their online and pick-up. It was fast. Friendly, and convenient. I order and my order was ready in 15 minutes and when I went to pickup I only waited less than 5 minutes.

I ordered online two days in advance, and when my friend went to pick it up, and they told him that the order was already picked up. He told them that no one picked up, they put him on hold for 10mins. So he hung up and called again, after 25mins. they came out with the order and apologized. (they did give a $10 gift card). When he came to my house and was taking everything out of the bags, 6 items were missing and 1 item was incorrect flavor of what I ordered. Spoke with customer service for 30 mins (20mins waiting). I asked if they would delivery since they are the ones that made the mistake and they told me no, I would have to place another order and pay the delivery fee. I asked if they could gather the missing items now or tomorrow and they said they cant do that either. Refund on my card would take 7-10 business days. So my best option was for them to add the amount of my missing items to MPerks. (basically forcing me to shop at Meijer, since it arrives in my MPerks account after 15mins.)

I was able to purchased the items that I was looking for that day.

I stopped at this location. I was impressed with the variety of products and super happy about the different flavors of ice cream. They offered a wide selection of fresh produce the bananas were ready to eat which made my husband ecstatic! The man who greeted us at the door and the woman running the self checkout were courteous and helpful. I will be back to shop again.

I hadnt been in this location since the eight mile location opened which is closer for me. I will definitely return as they are better stocked and the layout seems better.

This store is always kept clean. Its been in this neighborhood for decades. Theres always an assortment of good deals, right now its 30 to 50% off a good selection of mens, womens, and kids clothes.A great place for a quick stop for essentials, as they always try to have enough checkouts open to make sure there isnt a long wait to checkout.

Too large of a store like shopping at a warehouse, although did like the cleanliness of this store.

This Meijer has a serious logistical problem. The employees are the kindest people I’ve ever met, and I still shop here because of them, but my god. If you shop early, you’re waiting at least 30 minutes in line from 9am-7pm. If you shop late, they’re going to be out of half of the things you need on any given day. I completely understand staffing issues and line spacing to account for COVID-19 safety, but having 3 registers open with 50 customers in line is just absurd. This store makes shopping stressful, I seriously consider driving twice the distance to do my shopping even though this Meijer is minutes away from my home.

Its a great location with not enough registers. Always waiting in line especially during the weekends (Sunday). Definitely needs to expand this location. Always out of vegetables especially earth bound salad mix in particular.

An older Meijer store. Had the item we specifically were shopping for, not much in the way of deli prepared foods for mis afternoon time of day which was hugely disappointing. Also no selection for the in the case donuts as there were none in the case.

Id give one star if I could. Woman working the self-checkout around 8:00PM on 6/12/21 wouldnt sell me champagne even though I am 21 and provided my drivers License. Terrible attitude . Extremely disrespectful.

This store is an absolute joke. They are stocked with what I need about half of the time. Every time I come here I average a 20 -30 minute wait in the check out line. As I am posting this, there are literally only two check out lines open, on a Sunday afternoon no less. Spacing out the lines due to covid is one thing, but not staffing the store appropriately for the busiest shopping day of the week is another. Do better Meijer.

Every time I go to this place I have to wait in line at least 25 to 35 minutes. They never have enough lanes open and the cashiers they do have are slow and lazy and their prices are rising faster than a hot air balloon. But our senile president is not helping the situation with rising fuel prices!!

Came into this store at about 10:00 PM tonight. Looked at clothing clearance racks. Several (at least 10) said that any items with a blue sticker on them were an additional 50% off. Bought 4 items with blue stickers. 3 rang up with the additional 50% off. One did not. I pointed it out to the cashier. She went to find a manager. The cashier came back and said the sign was wrong. I told her there were several throughout the store. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told it wasn’t going to be discounted and the manager wouldn’t speak to me. This store needs to hold their management accountable.

I only go here because the location is convenient. Terribly staffed and stocked. Its always our joke that they wont have the one thing we go to the store for.

Very friendly and helpful employees. Busy Meijer, but they have started the scan and go feature on their app allowing you to scan and bag your items as you shop; at the register, You scan a QR code and your order is automatically popped up on their check out. This saves quite a bit of time and hassle!

Ordered curbside for the first time. The online part wasnt bad. Everything was easy to find and a time slot that worked for us was available.However, when we picked up our order, we got home and realized that not everything that was in our original order made it to what we picked up. The woman who brought everything out to us did not communicate this at all before we left.I get that stuff may run out of stock before our order is filled, that part Im not upset about. It just kind of frustrating to get home and not have everything that you expected.So, my advice for anyone who orders curbside with them is to ask/confirm that everything you originally ordered made it into your trunk upon pick up. Then go from there.
