How can a place with open food let a dog inside...horrible customer service with no one to help check out. The aisles are tall and feel like a cage being trapped walking down them. Most of the food comes prepackaged so it definitely can not be fresh. Horrible business concept, if we are all about equality why do we have to call out women owned, thats discrimination.

This is my first visit. It has an impressive array of anything one would eat or drink.The person who helped me find. Kosher cheese was very helpful. It seems that the prices tip to the high side but you are paying for the ambience as well.

BEWARE CONSUMERS!!!!I had to post this in great hopes that the manager or owner will see this AND for the customers to BEWARE!My intention was to go into this market to purchase a medium coffee. I also bought a few items. When I was waiting for my coffee at the counter, the young man said that I could pay for the rest of my things at his register. Cool… okay…He told me to swipe my card in the top machine BUT then it would NOT let me do anything else until I picked what TIP TO GIVE THEM!!!!! I thought “wow this was bold, but didn’t want to hold up the line, so I thought I guess 15% for the coffee should not be that much. So, I pressed 15% and it let me finish my transaction.A few hours later, I looked at my receipt and saw that I paid 15% for my entire purchase!!!!!! I paid $3.87 EXTRA for a $25.77 total bill! The coffee was $4.75!!!I felt ripped off and cheated! I don’t mind tipping someone, but doing it in this sneaky way was uncalled for!!!!

Lovely upscale market. On the smaller side, its convenient location allows for quick trips for a few things. Not so great for large or heavy family grocery shopping. But lots of lunch on-the-go options available, and the location, right next to Beaumont hospital is perfect for lunch runs!!

I have nothing but good to say about this store. They always help me with things I need. I buy a certain brand of water there and they help me load it. Lee has tried to help me with stock but they are having supplier issues.I am disabled with a brain hemorrhage and herniated disk in my back. I hate to ask for help lifting things but Jess, Chelsea and Kyle have helped me in checking out heavy water bottles and lifting.The manager Natalie has been more than kind to me in getting things I need. I have to imagine her management style shows through as her employees are always helpful and never complain when you have a question. Thanks to all for helping out a crippled old man!

Woodward Corner Market is my new favorite place. The selection of plant-based options is UNREAL!! Everything is well-organized throughout the store and they carry many local items, which I totally appreciate. The true surprise at Woodward Corner Market is the VALUE for the quality and abundance of options! Not to mention it’s super-convenient location! Super high quality products at Meijer prices, which is an unbeatable combo. Also, the flowers at Woodward Corner Market are gorgeous and SO fresh! I have heard from friends this is a higher quality place to find fresh food, flowers, and produce but at Meijer prices. Large selection of ethnic food, quick meals in coolers, and adult drinks. Small selection of household basics and regular groceries. All check outs are self serve. Lots of close parking. Wish this was closer to me.

Nice clean store.fruit is too pricey. Nicely put together and neat and clean. However the A/C was way too cold and uncomfortable. We caught a cold from the freezing A/C.

Super convenient. Good liquor selection, fake craft beer selection. Like the Great Lakes coffee shop, though the only have one type of their coffee available at a time.

Super cute market (but actually a Meijer??) that puts alot of emphasis on local Michigan Brands and small businesses and vendors. They have a seriously impressive bulk frozen foods section and also a great wine, beer, and booze selection.Beware: They charge for bags so bring your own or purchase reusable bags at the check out.Really great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good selection. Definitely one of my new favorite places!

The Meijer there is so cute!! A much needed break from the normal white+blue color scheme! The self-checkout things are really easy to navigate, which is good for older generations/people who dont know how to use them!

I was impressed with his store and it definitely fits the area but its not a Meijer...its better match to Woodward corner market...you can definitely see that there are Meijer brand item but the major component of a successful Meijer is their reward program and the cost savings they provide. This Meijer is more like a giant convenience store because everything is marked at retail price...There is literally nothing on sale with the exception of items that are going to be passed due...now to me the passed due items present a major strength and since the store isnt doing as well as they had expected I get to cash in on the manager specials... For example I got over $70 worth of fruit and vegetables today for about $20.The other thing I really like about this store is the local distributors...I bought some chunk nibbles today after companies owner I would say theyre actually Priced Right for somebody that is okay with an Impulse Buy but wants a healthy but tasty treat at the same time also he said it helps out with Charity which sure thats a good marketing tactic but Im more or less bought it because its actually a good product and I like that theyre headquartered out of Troy Michigan check the end of my review for photos UPDATE: I ate the 16oz bag of Chunk Nibblers in 24 hrs.The other company I tried it called Curry fresh they have the last two doors on the left side of the first aisle I think theyre fresh Indian food taste really good and it wasnt too salty theres also a photo of that on my review

My new favorite grocery store! My husband and I started stopping by whenever we need to quickly pick up an item or two OR when we need a speciality item.We’re both gluten and dairy free, and we’re very impressed with the selections. The store is very clean and spacious, and prices are reasonable.

Im only giving 4-stars only because I hate the check out process. This market has a fantastic liquor, wine and beer section, so its no surprise that while Ive gone in to purchase only a few items, I inevitably end up with a bottle of wine or hard seltzer. Then at checkout the space is small and difficult to bag on the carousel bagging station as well as no place for a woman to place her purse. Then if you accomplish that, you cannot conttbe check out process because a clerk must approve your age to purchase alcohol. Sometimes that is quick, but most times there is only one clerk with many customers (depending on the day and time) and you end up waving wildly like you are bringing in a 747 commercial airliner at the airport to get that clerks attention to finish your transaction. I think the store is a wonderful addition to north Royal Oak and the selections are great and I find myself drawn over and over here, but absolutely abhor the checkout process!

These prices are ridiculous. $20 for a paper thin steak thats pre packaged... Definitely wont be shopping here again. The convenience of being 1.5 miles from a real Meijer is not worth the price hike.

The employees are really nice and understanding and everything was organized, neat and clean . Including the bathrooms. I went to shop for someone else but Ill probably go back for me. It was like a corporate farmers market

This is hands down the best grocery store. The staff is incredible, always going above and beyond to help. The store is organized in such a smart way that doesn’t create bottlenecks. They have unique things, but common items that aren’t overpriced since they are a Meijer store. I don’t shop anywhere else.This morning when checking out, I had certificate for $30 off. Pretty unusual. Instead of stating they can’t take it. They were awesome about making sure they can assist me, in a timely fashion. And they were so nice!!!!!!

Super nice store! Are there expensive items because of the prime real estate the store occupies? Yes. But there are also good deals. And there is a great mix of old favorites and new things to try as well as Michigan made products. There is a good size area of fridged prepared foods. Its all self checkout which I dont mind. My only complaint is that I struggled to open the plastic bags at the checkout. You might want to bring your own.

What a great store with a ton of options. I would have given it five stars but I had to pay for grocery bags and essentially bag my own groceries. The bags were not even worth $0.10.

I didnt like/understand the way the store was laid out. It seemed cramped. The meat selection was not great, but the liquor selection was.

Good selection of organic foods. Some prices are very Whole Foods like but other stuff is good. There is a coffee shop inside, which is convenient. The store is well decorated and usually well stocked.

Always the freshest fruit and vegetables you can find anything in this store try it and see Im hooked

First time visiting, just went in to check it out. First thought: VERY clean. Their produce looks great. Great beer selection. Their floral section is beautiful too, I’ve seen some of the prettiest flower arrangements here. It’s quiet, which I like while I’m shopping. I can see myself throwing on my headphones and going to town in here. Even though I only left with two little bags of candies, I’ll be coming here again. OH, and they have the Great Lakes coffee shop inside (though it closes at six, but heard their coffee is good) I’ll have to check that out too next time I’m in.

Very nice, clean and new. Just be careful navigating through the lot. There are several pedestrians and the lanes are tight.

Most of the weekly/last minute groceries I get are from here. The prices are comparable to other local markets and they have enough variety to keep my interest...they also have the best Honeycrisp apples anywhere in the area. Its a self-checkout only store.

This store has a great selection of local products and fresh produce. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is helpful. Some of the smaller markets in the area dont have everything we need for a regular grocery shop, but this one does, while still feeling like a market and not a giant big box store.Note: Theyve worked out the mask issues that I mentioned in my previous review. All good and safe now.

This is a beautiful store and I love the concept because I love shopping at stores with a small footprint. They sell a great variety of liquor but this is kept behind a separate check out counter and I couldn’t find anyone who was working the register so I ended up going to a different store to buy those items. Check out is self service which I’m 100% good with, however the 3 staff members who were watching the check out stations were not bagging for any of the customers who were checking out. Maybe this store is 100% self service which could explain the non bagging service. I was also disappointed in the seafood selections as I went there hoping to find lump crab meat but they do not sell that product.

Obsessed with everything about this market. I love the floral section, coffee shop, sushi bar, and liquor counter especially. The selection is wide enough to have 95% of what I need, with the exception of some pharmacy-type items. Everything is neat, clean, and well-stocked. The self-checkout is the cherry on top. I’m thankful this opened so close to where I live, as the larger supermarkets have become insufferable lately. I miss the availability of reusable bags, but I assume that’s been a COVID-related change. Keep up the great work to whomever manages this store.

If I could give this store a 0 I would. I had just left the hospital after a chemo treatment and wanted to have a quick, warm bite. The “cafe” for hot food was closed and it was only 3pm. Prices were higher than expected but given the area I guess that royal oakers are used to paying for more and getting less. I won’t shop where they don’t employ cashiers. I don’t work there and should not have to check myself out. The prices should reflect that overhead cost savings. When I left there was an employee sitting on the table that the sanitizing products were sitting.

It is what it is. It caters to the higher earning crowd (right next to the hospital) if you get what I mean. They have some staple items, tons of organic, vegan, and locally sourced items. Helpful staff. Clean.

Everyones very helpful just keep in mind this is a much smaller location than all other Meijers in the area. With that said you should be able to find just about anything you need if youre willing to try different brands

Very high quality meats and produce; however not the cheapest prices around. Store is always extremely clean and well organized. Checkout is always quick and staff is friendly and helpful. All in all, Id say although you pay a little more, you get good value because of the high quality products and the much improved grocery experience/atmosphere.

Nice experience! Half the layout was open for the fresh area & half the usual non-perishable shelving style. Lots of natural light. Good signage. I would have like the price tags to.include price per oz - I had to get my calculator. Overall prices comparable to Kroger. Wider variety of choices in the fresh food area (ever heard of an Aloha pepper? Me neither). There are a lot of the smaller 2-tier carts, which I like. Theres one entrance to the checkout area that we had to look for, & it takes you to the self-check area first; to get to the cashier lanes you have to circle around to the left. We used the self-check & it went pretty well. You should remember to bring your own bags, but if you dont, they have reusable bags available for purchase. Not too busy (Sunday afternoon). Im sure it will be busier this summer as more people find it.

Extremely close to walk here from Beaumont Hospital, but BH did a wretched job of planning for pedestrian traffic to get here. Youll have to be spry to avoid getting hit by a car. Or just drive here.

Cool grocery store. Its like Holiday Market Lite. Had some things from Eastern Market I might check out next time. Huge wine selection.

I like the location and its a nice addition to the area. This store is close enough to walk to and from either home or work. For a smaller store they have a decent selection. Since Covid I havent been able to fully experience the store when its completely stocked. Its a little pricier than most places but I guess Im paying for convenience.

Nice little market. Decent variety of items for a quick stop. probably wouldnt do all of my shopping here due to lack of selections. we have a large family so many different tastes when shopping. Some prices were reasonable but most seemed overpriced.

Very nice and clean store. They carry the same brands as Meijer. They have a large selection of gourmet foods and drinks available. They have a large wine section; they have a nice liquor section; they have pre-made sandwiches and entrees from local restaurants. They have a coffee shop inside and they sell fresh sushi . You can eat in or carry out. They also have charging stations to charge your phone or work on your laptop.

Love it The store the staff everything is excellent So far so good this is my new go-to store Even though Im a Walmart fan but I just love store It reminds me of a trader Joes however the presentation and everything else is like a specialty market... Now if the staff walks me to my car with an umbrella then trader Joes really has a run for their money as far as customer service 🤩🤩

This market was so refreshing and the people were so polite I really enjoyed my time there they had a little bit of everything and everything appeared to be very fresh when you walk in you could actually smell the bakery the fresh bread oh my goodness it smelled awesome it made me hungry very organized
